Changes coming
I know it’s been an age (even before the Lost Year of 2020) since I posted here, and I don’t know how much I’ll be posting going forward. That said, the writing situation is undergoing a seismic shift, and I may have a few things to say about it. We’ll see. :-)

I would love to share this around, but most of my friends would ask me to back it up and Tumblr is not well suited to replying to people about what they post. So, I’ll just leave it here.

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS!
Doesn’t matter what the press says. Doesn’t matter what the writers or the editors say. Doesn’t matter if the whole Marvel canon decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When Marvel and the press and the whole world tell you that Captain America is a Nazi, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — “No, fuck you.”

OH HELL yeah (I know, language ^_^). I’ve been a fan of Marvel since I started with Heroes Return era Avengers, Iron Man, and Thunderbolts, when Kurt Busiek (whose name I just got right without looking it up) was writing them. This was years before anyone had any idea that movies based on those people might not bomb. I have comic books that I bought new that are older than most of the noobs who’d call me a fake fangirl.
Please reblog if you enjoy Marvel and you're a woman
I have been having an argument with a friend and he says that Marvel is for guys, please help me prove to him that there are lots of women who like Marvel!

A Writer's Wife turned 2 today! I never did get the hang of Tumblr, and now that Weaver’s Knight is finished there are no updates to post about, but I’m still here :-).

Not posting much, am I?
Yeah, I keep forgetting I even have this thing, and Weaver’s Knight is done, so don’t expect much from me here :-). If for some reason you still want to follow me, contact me and we’ll see what we can work out.

Since there was no reblog link on this one, I have to do it this way. How about: The millennial has to try to live on the recently retired Boomer’s Social Security while taking care of the Boomer’s aging parent, while the Boomer spends a couple of hours a day looking for work, then spends the rest of the day playing video games and checking social media because there’s no jobs to be had? Because that’s just as realistic a possibility for a lot of Boomers. (extra tag added to spell “millennial” right ^_^)

I could look at this all day :-). (and if anyone has a more-original source for the image, I'd love to give it credit)

Oops?
I closed the tab I had Tumblr open on, and promptly forgot to keep checking it -- like, two weeks ago :-).

Apollo 11 Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin make the first moonwalk, on July 20, 1969.
In these clips they can been seen planting the U.S. Flag on the lunar surface and experimenting with various types of movement in the Moon’s lower gravity, including loping strides and kangaroo hops.
Moonwalk One, ca. 1970
