Lyric is a General Maintenance Employee for the Pizzaplex who is sometimes tasked with electrical work and assigned to Parts and Services when someone inevitably quits, drops a shift, or no-shows. They have no technicians or electrical certifications, only a plethora of personal experience since childhood, and that's sure good enough for Faz Inc to pay them minimum wage to work ~50 hours a week like a pack mule repairing every god damn thing that breaks down in this place, which is a lot. Lyric is technically only supposed to be on day shift during the week, but they're often called in late, on weekends, and on days off with little to no overtime pay or compensation. If they don't show they'll definitely get fired, so they're always running on a chronic 4 hours of sleep and all the caffeine they can find. This plus screaming children and general customer service work makes Lyric even more introverted and grouchy than they would normally be, and they rarely talk to anyone who isn't an employee or a bot that can't talk back.

Lyric finds the extremely advanced, sentient animatronics to be a bit unsettling and high risk, but theyre not paid enough to give consultations on things like that, so they tolerate them about as much as they do the guests of the Pizzaplex. Lyric is, sometimes, asked to do repairs on individual electronics but prefers to pass that off to someone with the specialization ( and those people keep going somewhere. ) Really, they think if an animatronic ever started acting weird around them, they wouldn't hesitate to beat the hell out of it with a wrench or something---better fired than dead. Because Lyric is not a Guest Experience employee, they avoid interacting with most children if possible, and they especially try to avoid birthdays and the main floor show due to the noise, lights, and crowds of children.

Lyric wears a standard light blue Pizzaplex employee uniform shirt and jeans, their tool belt, and a standard name tag clipped to their pocket. When they aren't fixing things, they're usually in the only employee break room trying to nap or fiddling with their phone. They disabled the camera in that room to make it easier to do ( disabled being they just cut the wires. )

Due to Lyric's spectacular hand-eye coordination, they have the highest employee score in Monty Golf, though they don't think that's worth anything. If they were asked by a child, they would say Roxy and Monty are tied for their favorite Glamrock, but in reality they don't really care for any of them that much. Roxy and Monty merely seem like the least likely to follow rules.

okay, but where's my steddie AU where steve wants to learn to play guitar to impress a girl he's infatuated with and he remembers that munson kid was always hanging up posters for his weird band at school, so he hikes out to eddie's usual dealing spot behind the track and asks (with far less groveling than he really should have) if eddie will teach him how to play, and obviously eddie says no because why would he want to help king steve, but of course, steve offers to pay him, $20 a week, and well, that's the kind of get-the-hell-out-of-this-shithole-town cash eddie really can't afford to refuse, so fine, he'll teach steve to play and they'll spend inordinate amounts of time together tucked away in eddie's room and they'll start to see that they have more in common than they thought and that they kind of had each other all wrong, and eddie will put his hand over steve's to help him get the placement for a tricky chord and it totally won't awaken anything in either of them?? where is it??

Some days you want to work hard on your little fanfic epics, spending hours detangling the lore and timeline and plans for stories crying in the night for an update, and some days you're sick off your rocker and just hacking a lung out while haze-blinking into the horizon as you halt reading someone else's fic summary mid-first sentence to hard left turn into a very blurry but detailed daydream about the dwarves thinking Bilbo died in the Battle of the Five Armies while Bilbo--unaware of a king and his company upending their own mountain in a fit of grief as he heals among the Men or Elves--ends up in an awkward Race to Mordor with a Sauron he is barely aware of alongside his own ironic Nine, made up of himself, Gandalf, Bard, Legolas, Tauriel, and a trio of dwarves (Dís, Gimli, Gimli's mom) plus an unexpected favorite cousin (Falco Chubb-Baggins) who all broke off from the first convoy of Blue Mountain immigrants to Erebor to go along and protect Bilbo.

Place bets now on how Thorin & Company hear of their burglar's survival and latest insanity (highest bids placed on the remaining Blue Mountain travelers passing along word vs a smarmy message from Thranduil), how quickly they shake off their shrouds of mourning and royal pseudo-widowhood, and where exactly on the path between Erebor and Mount Doom they manage to catch up to and dog pile an unwitting Hobbit.

Awhile ago I talked about having headcanons about mama and papa Umemiya so I'll put them under the cut cause yknow. They really aren't anything special though just me rambling.

Hajime gets his big, boisterous laugh from his mom. Mamamiya was actually the louder, more confident one between Haji's parents.

Mamamiya was raised by her father until he passed away when she was a teenager. She didn't grow up with much family, but she was always really friendly with her neighbors. She also had a green thumb, but preferred flowers

Papamiya was raised in a super traditional household, and though it was big, they weren't close at all. He was alone a lot for most of his childhood.

I like to think they met when they were both on a trip somewhere? Two strangers who just happened to meet while hiking up a mountain, and they hit it off well enough to exchange contact info. After the first phone call, it became a regular thing really quick.

They learned to cook together, papamiya is technically the better one, though he's also pickier than she is.

When she got pregnant with Hajime, both his parents had super in depth conversations about how they wanted to raise him. The Umemiya way of eating with people you love was born there.

Hajime's parents had no issues taking him with them on trips once he got old enough as a toddler to travel. He only vaguely remembers the places he's visited with them and wants to revisit them some day.

Sometimes he looks in the mirror and see them in himself. He's a good mix of them both physically and with certain habits, and he wouldn't change that for the world.

Oh but if you guys have your own send them to me frfr i love thinking about them or just ume in general.... i kinda tolerate that guy

twi (bc ofc): lets talk wolf senses vs hylian senses!

wolfie hearing/scent (a part of it anyway) carries over to his hylian form. he cant see smells/hear spirits like in wolf form but its certainly above average. however! his eyesight is worse as a result. hes not colorblind, he just doesnt see as well as the others which is part of why he relies on sheer instinct so much in a fight.

i almost answered this with his lineage but i am still ironing that out esp where gerudo is concerned (whether or not theres any in his lineage) it gets messy bc i think in order to make it work within canon he would have to be related to ganon and i dont know if thats a can of worms i want to open. just seems like Too Much imo

2. Time!!

he got that blind eye from the fierce deity mask. something something stare into the void it stares back at you. he is in fact blind in that eye, but he can use magic to see through it like a powerful lens of truth. it burns a lot of magic though. when he wears the fierce deity mask, thats the eye he sees out of instead.

3. Legend!

rather than fable's sibling they are cousins. legend's father is the king's brother and is a total deadbeat. they lost any claim to their royalty following his fathers series of fuck ups (a lot of gambling, being a hound in general, drinking problem, etc) and were kicked out of the castle. the king does pity his nephew ofc and thats why leg knows his way around the castle so well and all of the guards and such. he lives with his maternal uncle who is not royal. kid legend struggled to adjust to the sudden lifestyle change and as he is now, resents the king for leaving him in the care of his father. he gets along fine with his uncle but his uncle doesnt have much so legend just moved himself out eventually to ease the burden. hes not home that often anyway. he hasnt seen his dad in years.

4. Four (how apt)

i think he primarily takes care of the house for his grandpa. so four's not a great cook but he *can* if need be. moreover i think he's actually a very tidy person and i think he enjoys cleaning up as a comfort activity. he divides himself up to do chores faster.
