hmmm depends on why the darling is frightened tbh are they always afraid or is this started after cerelos took them the first time? i do imagine he'd be pretty upset and even offended, though he won't outwardly show his feelings. he'd probably start ordering the servants to disappear whenever the darling is in sight, be invisible, to further isolate them, to force them either to face their loneliness and/or accept cerelos as their emperor and husband. since humans are in nature social, they'd naturally long for some form of company and possibly some skin to skin contact.

in short, since the coecrced sex doesn't seem to do enough, cerelos would've likely infict some psychological damages on his darling to force them to accept him. he wouldn't be…physically abusive, no, but he will emotionally and mentally cripple his darling without relying on cruel words and uses some amount of gaslighting.

regardless, you will only have him and you will love him. he is, after all, your emperor and husband. why wouldn't you embrace him and his power?

ii s3e14 came out so here’s my opinion . heavy spoilers btw

it was actually pretty fucking good. a new favorite episode, in all honesty. I might be a bit biased though because my two faves had decent screen time.

it had its problems, sure! I think the tonal switch of SS was kinda disappointing, and just didn’t feel right? then again he could just be in denial. And the Nickloon dynamic felt confusing and weird and off.

for the whole ‘springy’ thing, it felt out of place. at first. But I had to look past it because it was actually really fun? It was a nice metaphor for so much in the show, and I’m a sucker for that shit. gimme metaphors baby I’ll eat em up

the whole past coming to haunt the characters was disturbing in such a wonderful way. the robot fakes were scary - it was delightful. Watching characters confront their past? Ow.

Now, here’s the main thing I enjoyed - Cabby and Bot. I think they were written fairly well, both in themselves and how they interacted.

Now, I’m a shameless Cabby enjoyer, I admit. I like her a lot for the memory issues, as established in e12. I have them too, and how it was handled in that scene was gorgeous. I had hoped (but didn’t expect) the issues to be elaborated on. But they were!! It was so exciting.

And Bot? They didn’t know. Bot was self conscious, and tried to trick Cabby into writing down false information. They didn’t want to be labeled! They didn’t want to be written down! And that’s totally valid.

So the whole “I’ll only tell you if you don’t write it down” thing. That was gorgeous. Cabby respected Bot in that way. Which was wonderful! and then “what if I forget?” / “I’ll tell you again.” Do you understand what that means? Do you understand the emotion behind that? Do you get it do you hear me?? THATS THE MOST IMPACTFUL THING EVER. AUUH

And then. And then. Bot asked Cabby about her parents. It’s weird cause I don’t think anyone is confirmed to have parents, but that simple question almost does? And then Cabby’s response. “I don’t know if it’s a memory thing, but -“ It shows how you never quite know if you can trust yourself with memory issues. Augh do you HEAR ME!!! GUYS MAKE FAMILY OCS FOR THEM NOW PLS!!!

other than that, though? Kinda mid. Glad that nickloon talked but they didn’t do well and that was kinda,,, ew,,, ss and yinyang also ew,,, but it wasn’t like, awful. Mid but not horrible.

I think it was a great missed opportunity that they didn’t mention C/bs, (the corn guy sorry I can’t say his names it’s a. thing) it felt very deliberately mentioning it. How ‘you enjoy your past’! Like WHAT ARE YOU SAYING YOU JEEBWEZER. did he make himself forget again?? hello?? But the ceo was also mentioned recently in like e10 I think like WHATS THE SITCH THERE…

but. But. Springy very clearly was referencing them being robots. Even if it was mostly about Bot, it was also definitely a jab at MePhone. And we can see how MePhone is effected. When Bot was eliminated, he was genuinely sad, and even asked for them to be his cohost. He cares for them. (He might even think of them as something similar to MePad?) He was very clearly impacted too, because he said something like “our best contestant was eliminated” LIKE. LIKE. THE ROBOTS IN THIS SERIES ARE INSANE!!!

and floory straight up eating springy was hilarious. N/A appearing was also a delight.

all in all: my faves got screen time and were written well so I liked the ep, but the sad part is everything else was kinda bad

different anon - what just rubs me the wrong way i guess is the implication of the cast ‘taking over’ ian and anthony’s spot. fans back then where shamed about thinking or being worried that the cast or the content they created would be pushed away on the main channel when unscripted content wasn’t coming back, but now fans are ‘valid’ in thinking that the cast are taking over ian and anthony’s place.

i’m just uncomfortable with the insinuation (whether intentional or not) that the cast is ‘taking’ a spot thats not rightfully theirs and vice-versa. i think there’s a balance that can be made on the main channel and that there’s no need to alienate one over the other. it all just feels like that time the smosh squad got introduced and i feel like we shouldve grown past that way of thinking.

(Firstly: your last point was the reason I made sure to say I love the cast again and again, because I agree. This is not an anti-squad thing. I hated that back in the day.)

It wasn't right or ok to shame people for having that opinion, I agree. Though, I was always of the opinion that they weren't pushed away from any spotlight, the main channel just changed direction again (people were upset over cast member channels vanishing from main, but actually they were just moved to Pit - which doesn't mean anything deep, Main just changed direction and content concepts). But shaming people for their opinion in this context is never nice.

I didn't intent to make my reply to sound like the cast doesn't deserve screentime or they don't deserve a spot on main because it's "not rightfully theirs". Everyone on Smosh "deserves" a spot anywhere, it's their job after all. I think all this is messy af because we're all protective of our faves and there lies the source of lots of bad fandom discourse.

I can't put into words well what I'm feeling, I'm sorry. But I'll try again.

The age old debate in the Smosh fandom will always be scripted vs unscripted (or I&A vs Cast ig, which I hate). Scripted was on main, unscripted on the other channel(s). Scripted was I & A and the cast (minus the very beginning), Unscripted was the cast and I&A. Ideally, when things were/are going well, everyone has a place where they could shine. Some viewers preferred Scripted, some Unscripted (some, like me, both). Then Anthony left and the place where Scripted took place slowly became un-/semi scripted. Naturally there wasn't a place for I & A to shine, because I & A didn't exist anymore. It was Ian and the cast. Some viewers were sad over that understandably so. Their fave content was vanishing.

Then Anthony came back, the Scripted place became scripted again (making the sad viewers mostly happy again and other viewers sad) and cast got more empowerment on the Unscripted side (shows, the new pitch admission system, etc) while semi scripted stuff happened in the form of Live Shows. Intense Nostalgia stuff happened and then cast got more parts again on the Scripted side.

What I and others are now a bit worried about is that the Scripted stuff on the Scripted Main Channel will vanish again and be replaced by Unscripted/Semi-scripted stuff - stuff that wouldve been on the Unscripted Channel normally. And that content featuring I&A will slowly vanish or hardly be there. That might sound irrational but those feelings are also valid. When the cast wasn't in a few new sketches, they were still around Pit and Games, so we wouldn't worry over not seeing them anymore. If the Scripted content vanishes, people are worried over losing I&A content. Seems irrational, i totally get that. But it is what it is.

I'm not trying to alienate between both "sides", pls believe me. I absolute adore the cast and love many scripted formats they had during Anthony's absence.

I just want both concepts to co-exist and not be shamed for still loving I&A and the kinda neat thing of Main = Scripted feat I&A and the cast, Pit/Games = Unscripted feat cast and I&A. To me that seems perfectly balanced and idk why they would mix that up.

Pls understand that I'm not having ill intentions, I've watched Smosh through sooo many changes since 2006 and stayed watching. I personally never shamed any person that mourned cast being gone from main for a while.

(Then again, who knows what the announcement will bring and maybe I'll feel sooo silly over all this 😬)

so this whole thing started as an off hand comment to local of @/localizationed fame about how jason kinda reminded me of hua cheng lmao (theyre also obv very different but the comment was Enough) and i was like lmao what if jay was just Literally a vengeful ghost and then AUs

i really want to explore chinese jason here, as lady shiva being his mom is one of my favorite theories (which is basically supported by canon, plus or minus a little tweaking) also!!! jason and cass being siblings with vastly different philosophies of violence and justice as products of their respective upbringings are just so fun to think about

im also including duke a Lot in my story plans just cause 1) i like him and 2) i am giving jason a lot of sky/sun/stars symbolism and there is one other bat that has that in Spades it feels wrong to basically give jay some fusion/solar flare powers without Also including duke's meta powers (even if at this point in the story duke legit didn't exist)

this is shaping up to be a very jason cass duke story line, steph will be showing up pretty soon (as indicated by the ending of chap 5!)

Seeing people talk about the danganronpa awards thing happening on Twitter makes me so glad I don't use it anymore. I quit Twitter long before I got into danganronpa, but dangan twt doesn't seem like its much better than any other part.

Many people I follow on Instagram are primarily v3 fans, and the whole nagito vs. kokichi thing has completely turned them off from interacting with nagito/komahina/sdr2 fans in general. And that makes me real sad! Its upsetting that people can't be chill enough about their fave character to not be rude to people who feel differently. Atsumu has absolutely no routine to his name, and it frustrates you greatly because he has perfect. Fricken. Skin. Seriously, the worst is a few pimples that adorn his shoulders when he wears the same jersey or workout gear without washing it. You try to pop them, but he screams and runs away from the pain big baby

However, he does enjoy watching you go through your routine, how your face looks after the grime of the day has been washed away. He doesn’t ask questions because he already knows he’s not going to understand most of the products anyways. What he doesn’t like is when he tries to cup your face and kiss you, and you smack his hand away, “babe, I JUST washed my face!”

Bokuto, god bless him, has such oily skin that when he started watching you go through your routine, he shyly asked you if there was anything you had that could help him with his blackheads and oiliness. When you asked him what he used to wash his face, he told you he used his body wash.

You then dragged him to Sephora the next day, and he was like a kid in a candy store. (“Babe, did you know you’re supposed to wear sunscreen EVERY day-“) They set him up with a solid cleanser, an AHA/BHA for the blackheads, and a moisturizer, and he just watched like an absolute student as they explained and answered all his questions.

Now, his fave part of the day is when you wash your face together, even going so far as to tell his teammates about it, he’s so excited that he doesn’t get as shiny anymore. He asks when he can get more in depth in his routines, but you promise him that it takes some time for your skin to adjust to everything, and he’ll get there in time

Kiyoomi has perfect skin, but he’s had a routine for years. The first time he broke out as a teenager, Komori popped it, only for it to grow and get infected- and it freaked Kiyoomi out enough to scar him into a good routine. He splurges on the good stuff, he knows what his skin needs, and god, it shows.

The only thing he does that you’ve turned him onto, is a face mask, typically one that helps with combination skin because after practice and his skin has taken its toll, it provides enough balance to give him that natural glow back. He’s perfect, and you’re sure to snarl that at him every time your skin acts up, and he just cockily smirks and shrugs his shoulders, “what can I say? I’m good at what I do.”

Shoyo definitely has dry, sensitive skin. It’s scared him away from using most skincare, save for a cleanser Oikawa turned him on to years ago (now THATS a routine I know is STOCKED-) and that seemed to be helping a bit. But when he met you and saw everything you used, he definitely got a bit more curious and wanted to expand.

You recommend him some brands and products, definitely convinced him to go to a dermatologist, and just when he was about to give up on hope, Bokuto complimented his skin on how soft it looks, and Shoyo literally had to stare at himself to believe it.

He literally will wake you up to make sure you washed your face, because he now knows the importance of maintaining the skin, “yes Shoyo, I did, gooD NIGHT.”

💍Meian💍, my beloved, he has fairly nice skin too, maybe a little combination and acne prone, but for the most part, it’s manageable. He knows he should be washing every day, especially as an athlete, but he does do a quick cleanse in the shower by stealing your stuff.

The problem he does have, however, is with his lips. They’re so dry, they get so cracked and hurt the poor man, so you introduce a lip mask into his routine; he puts it on before bed, and that’s it. He loves it. You tease him every time you catch him pouting his lips out in the mirror, but he just chuckles and goes right back to it. They don’t split anymore, they don’t bleed, and he’s just on cloud nine.

You did try to get him to start plucking his brows, but he was absolutely ready to fight you when you plucked, he grimaced, and you kept going with a knowing grin on your face.

oh ye ;o; !! wwell listen to Lost Wisdom part 1 then! its so good, one of my favourites.. also first mount eerie thing i listened to years ago. lost wisdom, what? and voice in headphones are my favourites.. also check out the version of lost wisdom on the wind's poem album , its good too. the one with julie doiron is my fave though. and then, i say this with a big warning, big content warning for directly confronting death and mourning in some cases written only days after, but listen to A Crow Looked At Me if you can. i cant rly say anything to describe how it made me feel apart from it felt like my chest being torn open .. also soria moria is a masterpiece, one of my favourite songs of all time :' '') though i wish it didnt have to exist, like wish genevieve castrée was still around instead of course. she's one of my favourite illustrators ever. . . but ye, after A Crow.. then there's Now Only , which is sorta a sequel to crow.. i love it a lot too. then after those idk, check out different things (which is what im still doing rn), even phil elverums others work as The microphones. some albums are much louder, much noisier than others.. ones like Dawn are very soft for the most part (this ones rly nice and iirc was written in a little remote cabin in norway, so thats sorta the vibes), and ones like wind's poem are louder, some are more electronic. . im going to listen to White Stag in full soon, i've heard one song from it and it needs to be listened to in order (a lot of th tracks in the albums kinda do, theres stories in them and sequels) , also im gonna listen to more of No Flashlight, Pre-Human Ideas, Clear Moon and etc etc etc. .. also The Glow part II by the microphones. . also been listening to geneviève castrée's music as ô paon, i like it lots too :'''' )

likes: hugs!:!:!:! i love that!:!: n reading ! also the quiet.. the type of quiet when ure the only one awake at the middle of the night idk i find some sort of peace in that.. im a creative so i like art and making art alot!! yuki tetsuya finds joy in all the things you like because it makes you happy. when you guys meet for lunch, he’ll often give you a little bar of kitkat, where the flavor is different every single time because he’s just cool like that. you guys will go on boba dates often after school or after practice or he’ll drop it off on his free time. he will give you a hug at any given time you request because when he hugs you, he feels like he’s protecting you, especially when his large frame is embracing yours. this is especially good when you feel overwhelmed in noisy areas or large crowds. often he’ll pull you aside to hug you to block out the world, where you can focus on just you and him. if you’re feeling anxious, he’ll go to a place secluded so you can breathe and feel better. you already know he’s good with his words and that’s evident when he’s the captain during the first seasons of daiya. he always knows what to say, calming your thoughts and mind, and he would love it if you opened up to him! with this he’s a fantastic listener, and he will literally give anything just to hear you ramble about the things you love. just as you love stars, he loves the stars in your eyes when you just talk about something passionately. he is so observant that the minute he feels that you’re unhappy he’s right in front of you. he always treats you gently because you are just so precious to him. but he will step in if he thinks he has to: for example, if you’re too nice to people taking advantage of you, he’ll wait for a good moment remind you to stand up for yourself. he adores how kind your heart is, but he doesn’t want you to get hurt.
