Are you more excited about the art aspect or the writing aspect of your Humans are extinct au? Both are fantastic and I enjoy the chance to interact with both, I was just wondering if you have one you are more interested/excited/motivated with? /gen
I appreciate the compliments, though I don't feel I deserve them.
To answer your question; it depends. Some days I can't draw to save my life but can write a decently vivid scene while idly playing videogames. Some days, I can't even force a sentence down on a piece of work but my hands are busy sketching all my little ideas in strange notebook style that somehow turns out decent looking in the end.
Some days, my brain wants nothing to do with either genre and I am left playing Slime Rancher or Minecraft for the however many days in a row. Some days, I want to do all of the above and get overwhelmed by being unable to divide my time.
Such is the way of the AuDHD wad of soggy bacon I call a brain when it isn't fighting me for serotonin and peace of mind, or fighting me to stay conscious as my Narcolepsy likes to smack me HARD some days. And of course, all of this depends on the flighty nature and mood of the ever elusive Plot Bunny. What is the Plot Bunny you may ask? Why, the Plot Bunny is my general idea of what I want for the plot of my stories. Sometimes the Plot Bunny is a lump of unmoving Bun. Sometimes the Plot Bunny is a Hare sprinting full tilt into the sun. Usually the Plot Bunny looks different for different stories.
The Plot Bunny for my Drag Me To Hell Series looks kinda like a shadow Jackalope. The Plot Bunny for 28 Years is a cloud-looking cottonball of a bunny that cheap-shots at the earliest opportunity. The Plot Bunny for the HAE AU is a Wolpertinger that runs away the moment I stop looking at it.

hngngngnggngn guyss what if the dude in the ending of the t2 summary, will influence es even further into their warden role (and maybe something really bad will happen)
we all know that the dude used "watashi" instead of jackalopes "ore-sama", this is really important. since we know in the novels, jackalope's aren't technically "jackalopes", they are technically "human", sort of. maybe, the dude who used watashi could be jackalope off of work, or the dude in the novel (the boss). the identity of that man isn't really important in this discussion, but i just want to find out ig.
what's important is, do you remember about the aviot collab? es' last test line is the main topic. (im to lazy to take the image). the line, "i(boku wa)... i(watashi.. wa..)...." iirc. the 1st "i", uses boku, their usual 1st person pronoun. boku is usually used by young boys, but in this case they're using it since boku is used by workers (boku is also gender neutral). the 2nd "i" uses watashi, they have NEVER used this 1st person. what if, the reason why they used watashi, is because of that dude in the ending of t2 summary using watashi. only we can hear that dude since he appeared when es is put to sleep, if they are taking reference off of that dude, how did they hear it? the viewers mind and es' mind is sorta connected (the reason why es can hear our thoughts).
before es is put to sleep, jackalope is awfully manipulative i will rip my guts out. "and anyway, whatever happens to them, none of it can be taken back. its not for the guard to worry about. that's right, you are the guard. don't doubt it. that is your job. as long as you dont forget that, it's fine. now that you understand, go to sleep, es."
its not for the guard to worry about : jackalope knows that es has their full trust on him, he's using that as a chance to take advantage of their own feelings, making them slowly lose empathy for the prisoners. also, maybe jackalope said this because he knows es feels guilty for what happened to the guiltied (…I'm sorry. I'm responsible for the fact that you've ended up like this.) ig he is supposed to be the representation of the all seeing eye in the panopticon.
that's right, you are the guard. don't doubt it : in some occasions, es doubted their role of being the warden (ex: "Guard-san"... Is that really... me?). since they're doubting their role, i think jackalope is trying to push the warden role onto them so they wont ever give up and become a vulnurable target of "manipulation" for the prisoners.
as long as you dont forget that, it's fine : yeah ig its self explanatory.
also, the last line, "oh yes, just as i predicted, you have all turned out to be...." its so smart. in the original milgram experiment, there are three results: 1. those who followed the rules but blamed themselves for what they did 2. those who followed the rules and felt great for what they did (because they thought they actually hurt the person) 3. those who rebelled and halted the experiment. in the back of the undercover cd, there's 3 es'
Tumblr media
and i think they can be connected to each of the results. the one on the top could be the 1st result, the one on the middle could be the 2nd result, and the third one could be the 3rd result.
i love how they just cut it off before he says what we all turned out since there's three results that could happen. because we technically have the idea of what es could end up after t3, i wonder how much farther would they go to be the ideal warden (especially with how jackalope is persuading es to not worry about what happens to the prisoners).
(+edit: a jp person translated the ending part where it glitches, its "you have all turned out to be psychopaths who enjoy other people's misery", which is technically the result of the real milgram experiment, even stanley milgram himself was horrified of the results, "a very high proportion of subjects would fully obey the instructions, with every participant going up to 300 volts, and 65% going up to the full 450 volts.".
i might be reaching too far so take this with a grain of salt
tldr; the dude at the end of t2 summary will worsen es

Yesterday I was having lots of 09 thoughts & mainly talked about him, so today I'll talk about why I think Haruka will not die before T3.
First off, what is the point of leaving such an engaging mystery unsolved?
If you think about it, Haruka's death would add two things in the story: drama factor to test the fans' feelings, and a chance to learn more about the extraction system. For the drama/emotional factor, it would be more useful if he stayed alive in critical condition; the fans' feelings will change and that will affect how these fans vote for Haruka and the other prisoners. In the scenario that he dies, the other prisoners' character developments will get somewhat of a push but Haruka's case will remain unsolved forever; if he stayed alive, I think that would help him and everyone develop further. e.g we would see more tension with Muu as she seems to be spending less time with him, we would see how Haruka struggles to cope with his verdict, how he interacts with the other prisoners etc it is much more compelling that way in my opinion
There is a possibility the extraction system could work on a dead body but 1. there would be no VD and VDs are important because they force the prisoner to think about and focus on their crime before extraction, 2. I don't see it being worth killing off a character, there are other more effective ways to get a reaction out of the audience and keep all of the prisoners' fates tied. And if it doesn't work, then wasn't Haruka's death pointless? It is just such a fruitless way to seal his case. Him being dead has only one outcome, which is...well, being dead. But surviving his attempt may have many outcomes: he might not attempt at all and remain unscathed, he might get in critical condition, he might be punished for attempting to escape milgram's boundaries by dying; who knows?
Not only narrative-wise is Haruka important, but also Haruka is a fan favorite, at least in JP fandom. He is well-loved, a lot of fans are intrigued by his case and killing him off without even getting close to solving his deal—which I see as one of if not the most ambiguous in the prison for many reasons—will leave a lot of fans disappointed and some may quit milgram, so the sales and audience etc will drop.
You have to keep in mind that Jackalope is biased, loves messing with us and sometimes says or implies things that are not true (e.g implying Haruka and Muu's dynamic to be romantic "lovey-dovey" when they are just friends) so you should not take anything he says—much like most of the info we are presented in milgram generally—at surface level.
Something else to be considered but which I wouldn't rely on as heavily, is that minigrams have foreshadowed things before (e.g system Amane), and Haruka has been really in the spotlight in nearly every recent minigram. I take this as a sign that he might not only survive but also play an important role in T3.

Hear me out:
Kotoko adopted Es, and Fuuta went ballistic.
Rip Fuuta... he can never catch a break... Asdfsdf thank you for this, it was a blast thinking of all the ridiculous ways this could have played out! (One possibility I toyed with was Fuuta's competitive instincts take over, he fights her for Es, only to realize too late "*I* don't want to be responsible for a whole child WAIT") It's a similar format to the last one, with a knock-at-the-door reveal, but I still think it works 😂
“Don’t fuck with me, Es.”
“I would never.”
Lying brat. Fuuta knew they would every chance that they got. It was the reason he was so relieved that Es decided to find somewhere else to live after Milgram’s end. Fuuta had nothing left to fear from his former warden, but the others’ suggestions that Es become his new roommate still made him shudder. Three interrogations in a closed space with the rude kid were enough for him, thank you very much.
However, it wasn’t all a relief. He couldn’t help feeling concerned about who they’d gone to live with. Given how cryptic they were being, Fuuta would have been convinced they walked into the woods to find a furry family of Jackalopes or something to raise them –except, they showed up for this walk with clean clothing and internet access.
“I don’t believe you. You’re fucking with me right now. Why can’t you just tell me who it is?”
“It isn’t any of your concern. Hey, I thought you swore to stay out of others’ business. You turned over a new leaf and all that?”
“Tch. I meant other people’s business. You’re different.”
If Es had vanished off the grid like some of the other prisoners, Fuuta wouldn’t have cared. But they were here, near enough to arrange some lame meetup, which meant they were going to remain in his life for a while longer. And that meant, as the model citizen that Fuuta was, he felt responsible for ensuring they didn’t get themselves kidnapped by some creep.
He asked, “how much do you know about them, anyway? I mean, what kind of person can house a random weird kid on incredibly short notice? That’s definitely suspicious.”
Fuuta pulled the mask up on his face as they turned down a more crowded street. He knew people were going to gawk at his eye anyways, but it still helped him feel like he was blending in. With his thoughts on the injury for a moment, he was glad that bitch Kotoko was one of the prisoners who had gone off the grid. Good riddance.
“I promise, she’s fine. Not weird with children at all. In fact, she’s really good with them, which is why she could help me on such short notice.” They muttered, “but it’s not like I’m that young…”
“That’s still not normal. Is she some old housewife or something?”
“Ah, are you trying to do the interrogation this time? Actually, I’d say she’s around your age.”
“It’s just you two living alone? I’m still worried about Milgram coming looking for us again – can a girl like that really protect you?”
“Is everyone supposed to live with a big, strong man, like you?”
“Wha–!” Fuuta’s cheeks burned red. “That’s not what I –!”
“I’m only teasing. It’s cute that you care about me.”
That only agitated him more. “It’s not cute! I’m being realistic! One of us has to think about your safety while you’re just distracted by some pretty girl.”
“What makes you think she’s pretty?”
“Well, why else would you be so careless in deciding to live with her?”
All of the sudden, he saw it in Es’ eyes: that spark of mischief that Fuuta had come to loathe. He could never tell what they were plotting, but it was never a good sign.
Es held up their hands in mock surrender. They put on a ridiculous, overdramatic voice. “Ah, you caught me, Fuuta! I’m hiding her identity because she’s the most beautiful, capable woman in all of Japan, and I want to keep her all to myself!”
He groaned, but they weren’t deterred. “She’s got everything, I couldn’t risk you falling for her! She’s quite capable of defending me. She’s very strong, with protective instincts much like your own. She understands our situation like no one else could. She’s got intense eyes, and you wouldn’t believe her singing voice. She enjoys deep conversations, she’s a dog person, she –”
“ – now you’re being the creep! Just shut up, I get it already...”
When they finally had the decency to pull it together, they reassured him. “It’s all true, though. So there’s no need to worry about me. I’m in good hands.”
Good hands, his ass. In only a brief conversation, the caretaker had gone from sounding a little suspicious to sounding way too good to be true… meaning she was extremely suspicious.
“Maybe someday I’ll introduce you, if you’re lucky...”
He turned his eyes away. “At least let me run some background checks on her first.”
(He would just stalk her on social media, but that still counted.)
“You’re just going to stalk her on social media. That doesn’t count.”
“Eh? I have legit methods!” He hid deeper under his mask.
Even after the topic was dropped, after he and Es parted ways on an awkward goodbye, Fuuta was left thinking about this mystery woman. It took a bit of digging (and maybe a tiny bit of social media stalking) but at last he found where Es lived with this stranger. Contrary to what they may believe, he had turned over a new leaf. There would be no more hiding behind screens or letting others do the confrontation for him. Now that he was a changed person, he’d do the healthy and normal thing with this information: he’d march on down there himself and confront her like a man.
He made it all the way to the front door with his chin high. He knocked with confidence.
Then he began to shift nervously. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t get the woman’s description out of his head. Sure, he was here to check on Es, but if someone happened to check him out at the same time, it was only right to be prepared… He straightened his shirt collar. He ran his fingers through his hair. He wondered if he should have covered up his eye to look more presentable.
The door swung open.
The surprise on Kotoko’s face was nowhere near the amount on Fuuta’s.
“Oh, for fucks sake –!”
From somewhere behind her, Es’ laughter rang out.

You know what I’m most curious about for Milgram? How did the first few days go over? Milgram kidnapped eleven people and threw them in a building with no exits or even a window, had one announce to the others that they were all murderers and they were going to investigate, and how well do you think that went over?
I can see those who were indirect murderers being much more sociable than those who directly took a life. Like Mikoto, who is so sure that all he did was dream and believed that this was some sort of game show, thinks the term murderer is made up and is just chatting away. Or Shidou, whose murder seems to involve his shitty bedside manner (pressuring families of brain dead patients to pull the plug and I think pressuring other patients to go through with risky organ transplants), is probably like yes, everyone must be involved with a death that would be hard to prosecute, I bet little Amane probably was playing with a friend who fell off the playground, cracked their head open, and died. Does she need a trusted adult?
Then you have Haruka and Muu, who directly killed their victims through very personal methods (strangulation and stabbing), who are rightly terrified that the others must have killed like they have and could be killed so they try to stay out of the spotlight. Kotoko, who stomped her victim to death, having the same line of thought as Kazui, a policeman, with needing to carefully evaluate the situation and not act rashly because they both realize that the chances of everyone having the same story as them is slim.
Just imagine the first meal together. It’s tense and awkward, as everyone steals glances at each other and pokes at the food, and then someone (Shidou or Mikoto, probably) breaks the ice.
Shidou: “Why don’t we go around the room and introduce ourselves? I’m Shidou Kirisaki. I’m 29 years old, and I worked as a doctor before coming here.”
Mikoto: “That’s a great idea! I’m-”
Fuuta: “Why are we doing this kiddie crap? We were kidnapped. And why are we eating with this cosplaying brat and a rabbit?”
Es: refuses to react
Jackalope: angry ear twitch
Mikoto: “Chillax. This is probably just one of those new reality shows.”
Fuuta: “You sign up for those, stupid. Do you remember signing up for this, because I sure as hell don’t remember-”
Shidou: cutting in “Language.”
Fuuta: “Are you fu-”
Mikoto: quickly “So, I’m Mikoto Kayano, 23, and I worked for a top of the line advertising company down in Tokyo! What about you, uh?”
Kotoko: “Kotoko Yuzuriha. 20. I was studying law, but I was taking a brief sabbatical before… this.”
Mikoto: “Cool! I don’t think I could be a lawyer. I’m terrible at conflict.”
Mahiru: “Same here! I’m Mahiru Shiina, and I’m 22 years old. I’m in my final year of studying literature at university.”
Shidou: “What about you? You must be in your last year of high school, right? What are you thinking of studying?”
Fuuta: sputtering “I-I’m in college! I’m 20, for God’s sake! I haven’t been in high school for a while. You need to get your eyes checked.”
Kazui: to Amane “Would you like to go next or should I?”
Amane: “You can go first. I don’t mind.”
Fuuta: loudly “I’m not done yet!”
Mikoto: “I thought you didn’t want to do this-”
Fuuta: interrupts “The name’s Fuuta Kajiyama.”
Kazui: “And I’m Kazui Mukuhara. 39. I’m a police officer.”
Kotoko: narrows eyes “A police officer? And you’re here?”
Shidou: to the four remaining “And you all?”
Amane: “My name is Amane Momose, and I am 12 years old. I’m in the sixth grade.”
Mikoto: disbelief “My God, you’re so young.”
Amane: “I’d prefer it if you didn’t offer me any sort of special treatment because of my age. Treat me as you would any other prisoner.”
Shidou: aghast “But you are a child.”
Amane: angry pout and about to argue when
Yuno: does not want to listen to them argue “I suppose I’ll go next. I’m Yuno Kashiki. 18. I’m in my final year of high school. And you?”
Muu: “M-my name is M-Muu Kusonoki. I am 16 years old and in my first year of high school. Please don’t hurt me.”
Kotoko: flatly “The grade-schooler has more guts than you.”
Shidou: “I would argue that she isn’t being foolish.”
Amane: “It would be foolish to ask for special treatment. I do agree with the sentiment but I don’t fear any of you.”
Fuuta: “You’re literally 12. How are you not pissing your-”
Shidou: “Language!”
Amane: “There is no need for censorship on my account. I know all the bad words already. Speak freely around me.”
Fuuta: smugly “Yeah, see? She’s probably heard worse from her classmates.” Points to Haruka. “What about you?”
Haruka: shrinks down in his chair “U-uh, I’m, um, I’m Haruka Sakurai. I’m 17, I think. I’m uh, not very bright. Please be patient with me.”
Shidou: “There’s no need to put yourself down. What year of high school are you in?”
Haruka: “I’m, I’m not. My parents said that, that they’d rather light the money on fire for warmth than send me to high school just for me to flunk out. It would be a better use of-”
Fuuta: angry “That’s fucked!”
Shidou: “Language!”
Yuno: “Hate to say it, but he’s right. It is messed up.”
Shidou: “It is, but there is no reason to use such language in front of a child.”
Amane: “You don’t have to protect me from foul language. I just said-”
Shidou: “What about you, Es? How old are you?”
Es: “15.”
Fuuta: “You have gotta be kidding me! The fate of our lives hang in the hands of a junior high student!”
Mikoto: “Relax. Our lives don’t really hang in their hands. It’s just a TV show.”
Fuuta: “This isn’t a TV show!”

MILGRAM T3 Wildcard predictions
Theories are fun but I'm also a daydreamer, so I invite you to see my wildest predictions I have Zero Concrete Evidence for, not all of these are good but they are things I've thought of:
Haruka's plan is going to immediately go wrong before it begins because he's going to try attacking Jackalope (since all the prisoner's think he's just Es' pet rabbit) and end up maimed/killed
Haruka and/or Muu will have apparently died at the start of T3, and all the prisoners are going to be pissed at Es for it, then about halfway through the season, Jackalope is going to drag them back to milgram, revealing that they discovered the MILGRAM exit (as teased at the end of the second novel) but escaping milgram isn't so simple (Kotoko may also know about the exit but was stopped before she could fake her death/use it and just stayed quiet since she doesn't like the others) Haruka and Muu's MV/interro will end up being later in the season than normal because of this
Bonus points if the milgram exit leads you to: An endlessly vast landscape that you can wander through forever lost without a Jackalope guide to show you the way; the moon; a replica of the Titanic's sister ship in the middle of the Nevada desert; MILGRAM HQ; or the college Yale
I've talked about it before but I think Kotoko is going to get attacked by Shidou, Mikoto's amnesia may be exploited to frame him for it (since attacking Kotoko in Mahiru's room seems to have lead him to mistakenly believing he's the reason Mahiru is so injured even though no one else has even brought up the possibility he attacked her) and it'll be a test of whether Kazui will tell the truth or keep the cover up going
I've got a few different Mahiru ones: 1) Shidou stops being able to give her care, but then that mysteriously causes her to recover more than when she was under his treatment 2) She is revealed to be pregnant or even gives birth. It is either the fault of Shidou or an immaculate conception (I'm sure weirder stuff has happened in milgram) Yuno helps take care of her/the baby and for better or worse it causes her a lot of complicated feelings
Bonus points if it turns out Es was also originally a milgram baby and got raised by jackalopes or something for the day they could be used in an experiment (Also cue the dramatic custody battle for this child)
Someone is going to try attacking Amane before she can attack Shidou and she'll narrowly escape, implied that it was only possible because she wasn't restricted by a second guilty vote
Either she or Fuuta will stop the attack by revealing a weapon hidden in her backpack (in T1 me and Gunsli speculated she could have a gun but based on her T2 MV it could be the purge march taser)
Especially if Fuuta is the one to defend her I think there's a chance of the attacker dying/being seriously injured and that'll be traumatic for them both but especially Fuuta since his murder was more hands off originally and now he's actually hurt someone
Es confronts the prisoners on their future plans: If they are spared what will Life After MILGRAM be for them?
Shidou makes moves to take in Es and/or Amane but neither of them want to live with him because he has no respect for them as human beings and not just Children™

Who has been screwed over by the fandom more?
Propaganda below the cut
Six:
Six was born into a world that is desperate to kill her and every other child, and she has spent her every second in survival mode. If she makes the wrong choice or hesitates for even a second, there's a good chance she'll be killed. She has to make terrible choices, she has to hurt people, or she will be hurt, even if that means betraying her friends or literally eating a guy to not starve. To the fandom though, she's an irredeemable monster! Not the countless people hunting her down at every second, she's clearly the worst person in existence. She hurt a character the fans like (she could've died if she didn't) so she should suffer apparently
Amane Momose:
Where do I even start? So first of all she’s an cult child who was physically and mentally abused and tortured by her parents and then (presumably) murdered her mother after her mother killed a cat that she took care of.
Now everyone in Milgram is a murderer but when Amane came and her MV showed her murder and circumstance in an admittedly highly fictionalized depiction of it the audience decided to…repeat the cycle of abuse!
She was voted guilty for the main reason of “teaching her” and helping her “realize that she was abused.” I would like to note that this tough love approach is something her parents utilized against her. “We are only doing this to help you.”
So the audience replicates Amane’s abusers and repeats the cycle of abuse and that’s pretty shitty but it isn’t exactly “Fuck Em Kids” level.
And then Trial 2 happened. Cause Amane is bitter and angry and horrifically traumatized so she acts aggressive and hostile. Especially towards another prisoner.
Now, again, everyone here is a fucking murderer (of atleast could be constructed as one) These people being able to Harm is a core concept of this series.
Yet for some reason it feels like people treat Amane as a “delusional creepy kid who wants to kill people” which completly takes away the nuance of her character. She does have the capacity to harm! Everyone here does! She’s not Uniquly Dangerous! She just has a Reason to be Dangerous. A Reason we GAVE HER by REPEATING THE CYCLE OF ABUSE.
In short: In a series full of Murderers I’m honestly a bit pissed that the 12 year old abuse victim is the one who’s treated like the guy from American Pyscho.
----
TL;DR: "We metavoted this abused, indoctrinated child guilty in trial 1, but it didn't work. Now she is a threat to three grown adults: one who is fully free and two whom she has been shown to get along with. Please metavote her guilty again so she will be restrained and unable to attack them, even though that means subjecting her to further psychological torture." Amane Momose is the youngest of ten murderers, prisoners of Milgram who are to be judged innocent (forgiven) or guilty (unforgiven). In the first interrogation (voice drama), she said that what she did was in line with her religion's doctrines. If we judged her the "wrong way", she said she will just deny the verdict. Combining the voice drama and music video, you could piece together that she was raised in a cult and abused, even though she is cheerful and downplays her pain. She never shows *who* she killed, only *why* she did. After the first day of her vote, she was 81% innocent, but this wouldn't last the whole three months. Many people voted her guilty so she would "see her sins", part of the practice commonly known as "metavoting". Her innocent percentage rapidly decreased, and she hit guilty in the last 15 days, finishing at 51% guilty. At the end of the first trial, Jackalope (who is something like a host) went over all the prisoners' verdicts and commented on the general reasoning. When he got to Amane, he *laughed* at the audience for voting that way to make her realize her sins. Trial 2 rolled around, and it was revealed that Amane's victim was her abuser. On day one, she was at 74% innocent. Seems like a cut-and-dry case now, right? Well... in the intermission, two of the prisoners (Fuuta and Mahiru) were badly beaten up and became reliant on the care of Shidou, a doctor. Amane became hostile to Shidou because what he was doing was against her beliefs. She visited all three of them on their birthdays to convince them to change their ways. She seems to be especially close to Fuuta, who is now murmuring about salvation. Guilty prisoners are psychologically tortured, forced to listen to voices that reject their beliefs. Fuuta and Mahiru both say that the mental strain is worse than their physical injuries. But Amane, who also looks worse for wear, was thrown under the bus because she isn't injured and is considered a physical threat to them (never mind that she gets along with them). She's considered a threat to Shidou, a grown man who is twice her size and fully free, while she is partially restricted by the long sleeves in her trial 2 uniform. She might indoctrinate Fuuta even though, in a prison of ten people and one guard, she's the only voice of her cult. Fortunately, she got a break. Her vote was falling at a similar rate to the first trial. But this time, it stabilized at 51% innocent, 12 days before the end of her vote. But there's no way this is over.

“True Beauty” -"Eyes are the key to someones soul"
⋆˚࿔ Pretty hat from Kuro𝜗𝜚˚⋆ :: a hat to become a guard
― ʚ summary ɞ ― Es with autistic reader
― ʚ words ɞ ― 847
― ʚ warning ɞ ― designer found no danger in her creation
― ʚ author note ɞ ― Es best Milgram character fr fr!
Tumblr media
Es might not know you autistic until you tell him or Shidou does, and definitely not Jackalope that rabbit probably didn't know until Es told him
As for how they act, Es will try his best to use more simple words, to you in case you don't understand them, they genuinely want to communicate with you correctly
That especially goes if you are a prisoner, Es wants you to understand them correctly, so they can understand why you are in Milgram, and if they want to vote you innocent
Es is decently patient but they aren't sometimes, they are more patient with you so you can tell them everything at your own pace, and Es will try to follow you pace too
Es would secretly ask you to tell them every interaction you have with other prisoners, why? So they won't manipulate you since autistic people are easily manipulated(not all of course)
Es isn't really sarcastic, and even if sometimes they say something they didn't mean, they will tell you their joking after that though as I said, that rarely happens
Now if you have vocal stims, Es will make sure you won't mask them but slowly of course, by for example repeating them with you so you feel safe
Es wants to learn what sets you off so, it won't happen (if you ask they might ask Jackalope to get you some fidgets, they will still do it later if you won't ask)
And if your vocal stim happened because Es did something, They will try to do it again just for you to be happy or say something if that's the reason
Es will also like spending time with you, and listening to your rants about your favourite subjects, they're genuinely interested(also Es will definitely have the love look)
And because of the ranting part everyone will suspect that Es has a crush on you, will they agree? No will they confess to you? Yes
Es will be in denial, telling themselves that you are a prisoner and they are a prison guard so they can't love you, it will probably take them a little bit of time to just say "Fuck it I'm just in love" and confess
Also Es will probably accidentally make you, think they don't like you because they are just standing there mumbling to themselves about what if they say something wrong
Anyway once you are dating Es, his soft spot isn't shown around others only in private
Es is decently clingy, they enjoy hugs and kisses after they had an interrogation, because honestly those prisoners make them lose sanity
As for pet names, Es doesn't use them around others but in private they will use some but mostly "love" with extra gentlest "Well it's time for the interrogation how are you feeling my love?"
Es will make sure to ask if the material on your uniform is fine, if not they will ask Jackalope if there's a chance to get you a new one with a material you will like
Es will gladly become your personal translator/they need to when Shidou isn't around but even if they do, they don't mind doing it
If something exciting happened for example you were voted innocent, Es will not mind you grabbing their hands and start jumping around with happiness, they will be really happy since you are happy
Es will do research on autism but also ask you about it, since not everyone has the same traits
As for the voting part, Es will try to vote fairly but put the fact they learn about autism In case it's a big part of the reason you here
If Es is in between what to vote, they will vote you innocent, you being their partner breaks the tie + Es think is adorable when you get excited for being voted innocent
Now if you get voted guilty, Es would either 1. Act more cold just a little bit though or 2.talk to you about it to find out more about it, it mainly depends on how long you were in a relationship and which trial it is
Even if they were to act cold, Es would be worried once he sees you being beaten up by Kotoko and would immediately hug you
Honestly Es doesn't change much with autistic reader but still tries to be more soft towards them+ look after them
୨⎯ "Silly Scenario" ⎯୧
You were inside the integration room waiting for Es to come and start it, you were getting bored and started playing with your fingers eventually moving to your nails before you could hurt yourself by picking them Es arrives and stops you
"sorry for coming late love, Fuuta was well being Fuuta"
"ah it's alright so are we starting the integration?"
"yes but before that do you want to hold my hand and maybe play with it? It looks like you need to do something with your hands"
"could I?"
"yeah sure I don't mind as long as you will answer my questions honestly"
"of course I will!"

Whelp, last assignment of trial three coming up with written interrogation questions for Kotoko. Let's see if we can get some interesting ones this time.
Though it may be important for people to remember what was said before the very first written interrogation.
20/07/22 (Interrogation Start: Haruka and Yuno)
Jackalope: Prisoner 01, Haruka. Prisoner 02, Yuno. The interrogations for these two will now be held. Just leave your questions in the comments here. Well, don’t sweat about it too much and just ask whatever questions you want to hear the answers to. Even things like “favourite food” and “motto on life” are fair game. Which questions get chosen will be entirely up to management, but as a word of warning, if you try to dig too deep on specific details they won’t go through. If things go well, you’ll be able to break things down from the outside. This is your chance to show off your capabilities.
Some of these questions and others that have made it into the written interrogations should be very familiar to Caligula fans.
With that reminder out of the way let's get the last bit of work for trial two done. Hell maybe it will led to something interesting.
1. Suggested questions on how to tackle the Haruka issue
Which of the prisoners would you consider working with? Which prisoner do you have the easiest time talking to? Have you spoken to any of the other prisoners lately? Out of the people here who do you like the most? Have you heard anything interesting lately?
2. Suggestions on how to approach the topic of the child.
What are the names of the weaklings you saved? Do you like it when others look up to you? Have you ever been anyone else’s fang? Are you interested in mentoring others? Has anyone ever looked up to you? Have you ever been a mentor?
3. Suggestions on how to approach the topic of the attacks.
Out of the prisoners you attacked who gave you the most trouble? Verdicts aside, which prisoners do you personally want to attack? What do you think of the prisoners who intervened? Do you regret any of your past attacks?
4. Suggestions on how to approach the topic of other prisoners.
Outside of yourself which prisoner would you choose to forgive? Who do you get along with the least amongst the prisoners? Are there any prisoners that are giving you trouble? Do you think men and women can be just friends? Which prisoner in Milgram do you hate the most? Have any of the prisoners bothered you lately? What verdicts would you give the prisoners? Which prisoner is the most unforgivable? Are there any prisoners you respect?
5. Suggestions on how to approach topics concerning Kotoko.
What does becoming someone else’s “fang” mean to you? What was your relationship with your grandparents like? What do you think of the verdicts from this trial? Where’s the best place to gather information? What is the most important thing in a fight? Would you consider yourself a monster? What does your family do for a living? What does “sympathy” mean to you? Who inspires you more than anyone? What are your dreams for the future? What don’t you like about yourself? What do you think of werewolves? What style of clothes do you like? Is there anything you treasure? The moon is beautiful, isn’t it? Do you have a favorite store? What’s your favorite place? Better to love or be loved? What’s your family like? Favorite dog breed. Favorite season.

🐇The Crow and The Jackalope🪶
The crow and the jackalope is a mini passion project I've been working on about the relationship between mother and child along with the cycle of life
It technically follows three characters but I'll talk about only two
The first is Agni Corynson/The Harpy Messenger the minor god of destruction but they weren't always that way
Harpy was born human and grew up in a coven of witches however due to them being a "difficult" kid they were made to be an outcast most of their life only having their mother Aadhya as support
Due to this they were around nature or trying to leave the coven which caused them to get in constant trouble
One day however they successfully got to visit another village but that alerted the townfolk of the covens existence which caused a massive raid
There was much tragedy that day but the town mayor decided that the adults would be burned at the stakes for "crimes against the gods" but the children would be spared since they had a chance to "seek salvation"
Harpy didn't really care about the other elders they only cared about their mother and wanted to help her break out so they could run away together
However they were just a little too late so mom ended up burning this caused something to break in them and that moment they decided the world wasn't worth living if the person they loved most wasn't there
So they grabbed a torch and in the hottest night of the summer burned the whole coven to the ground killing everyone in it their first kill
They intend to die with everyone that day if not by the fire then by the smoke that would eventually suffocate them but it seemed something had other plans for them
A being they refer to as the "Night Light" saw the destruction the young one did and decided they deserved a second choice so it gave them the body of a harpy and the powers of pure chaos and thus the harpy of was born
Harpy hated this more than anything the only thing they wanted was death so they could reunite with the one they loved and even then they couldn't have that so they took it out on humans
Everywhere the harpy went destruction followed whether it was plague, war, death,a cruel winter,a bad harvest whatever it was it was all the harpy messengers doing
This caused humans to be horrified of the harpy and would often try to bring the young god offerings to satisfy their never ending hunger it never worked but they kept trying
That is until one day they received an offering unlike any other...a baby
They were rightfully disturbed by this offering and were tempted to abandon it but something about the child reminded of something or perhaps someone so with a heavy heart they took the babe in as their own and named it Lunette Bluebell
Now Lunette grew up with the harpy along with nature and as it got older that same curiosity that plagued harpy's childhood was present in it and harpy tried their hardest to protect it from the real world especially humans
Especially since Lunette represents everything harpy misses about themselves they feel the need to protect it more which causes Lunette to try and run away more
While the two loved each other more than anything in the world and brought out the best in each other they also could never truly understand one another and brought out the worst in each other as well
Eventually Lunette finds out about its mothers true nature and how they leave a trial of death and despair wherever they go but it wanted to do something about it
So it adopted a persona that the humans would eventually call "The nameless bard" to spread messages of hope and determination in the way of song becoming a folk hero and a bringer of spring and good fortune to contrast harpy being the bringer of death and winter
The rest of the series would follow their relationship as it goes through its highs and lows as Lunette gets older and begins to understand who it's mother truly is as harpy does the same while also learning more about the world they inhabit
EXTRA INFO both Harpy and Lunette are nonbinary and use They/Them and It/Fae respectively
Lunette is nonverbal uses ASL to communicate the only time it really "talks" is when it's the Nameless Bard (I'll touch on why that's the case in another post)
Here are the playlists for Lunette and Harpy respectively
This story is still it's early development stages so things are subject to change and I'm open to any criticisms or suggestions ^^

Howdy! Could we get a member introduction? I’d love to get to know y’all’s names and pronouns ^^
We actually did an essay and interview for the queer horror zine The Quiet Ones last year where we shared some fun intros! I've included screenshots of our intros here, but if you have a chance, you should check out the zine as well: it's run by a delightful group of queer authors and editors.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's the link to the issue with the Forgetmenauts feature: our bit starts on page 47.
(Fun fact: Kit is also an author and has had a couple of their short stories published in other issues of the zine, under their full name of Katharine Gripp. They're here and here if you want to check them out!)
Image text below the cut:
Walker Staples (they/them) Instrument(s): Guitar/Banjo/Vocals
Favorite scary movie or book: Let the Right One In.
Favorite cryptid: Jackalope. Who in the band is most likely to survive a horror movie, and why?: I think it's gonna be Tyler; most resources, best equipped for building booby traps.
Tyler Gary (he/him) Instrument(s): Clarinet, Saxophone, Trombone, Keys. Favorite scary movie or book: Recently I read Mexican Gothic and while it wasn't my all time favorite, it definitely captured some good haunting creepy vibes. Would recommend for the mushroom horror.
Favorite cryptid: The chupacabra. Who in the band is most likely to survive a horror movie, and why?: I'd be the second or third to die. “Quick everybody, I have a plan! All we have to do is...“ *Dies in a horrible dramatic way*. I think Abe would be last to die. He would disappear early on and we would think he's dead but he actually just went on a hike and came back at the end.
Abe Finkelstein (he/him) Instrument(s): Cello, un-mic'd backup vocals and banter, howling. Favorite scary movie or book: Oryx and Crake. And I listened to a great podcast about Midsommar but will probably never have the guts to watch it.
Favorite cryptid: The Baba Yaga house. Who in the band is most likely to survive a horror movie, and why?: Definitely Emma. She lives on a sailboat and is a great problem solver, and good at engineering. You might think I was on a hike but I was actually dead the WHOLE time.
Danielle (she/her) Instrument(s): Drums!
Favorite scary movie or book: I am scared easily and don't really watch horror movies! You
didn't ask about this, but my favorite scary-ish video games are The Last of Us and Dead Space.
Favorite cryptid: Loveland frog. Who in the band is most likely to survive a horror movie, and why?: Walker, they would out-maneuver the attacker/swarm/ pathogen/whatever the horror of the horror movie is.
Kit Gripp (they/she) Instrument(s): Mandolin, vocals.
Favorite scary movie or book: Sunshine by Robin McKinley (ok so it’s not that scary but there’s lots of blood and vampires, so it counts).
Favorite cryptid: Nessie. Who in the band is most likely to survive a horror movie, and why?: Probably Collin. If it were something corporeal, he'd knock it out with a baseball bat. If it were an angry ghost, he'd talk to it and de-escalate the situation.
Emma Williams Instrument(s): Bass.
Favorite scary movie or book: House of Leaves.
Favorite cryptid: Selkie. Who in the band is most likely to survive a horror movie, and why?: I think Walker would be the most likely to survive because they are very nimble and quick.
Collin (he/him) Instrument(s): Drums!
Favorite scary movie or book: Hard to pick a favorite scary movie! Maybe Let the Right One In (the original one). It's rare that horror films are at once so beautiful, disturbing, and sympathetic to the villain.
Favorite cryptid: Michigan Dogman. Who in the band is most likely to survive a horror movie, and why?: Kit survives the horror movie, for sure. Zombie flick? Kit decapitates the shambling hordes with lethal pirouettes. Teen slasher film? Kit distracts the villain with some concocted-on-the- spot YA fiction just long enough that he doesn't even notice he's walking right into his own poetic and ironic death. Vampire horror show? Please. Kit was the vampire. Kit was always the vampire.

it's time, yurika.. it's time.. I REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER FINAL VERDICT LIKE WHAT IF SHE ACTUALLY GETS A FULL GUILTY COMBO. i do still feel bad for her though.. but i also want to write her execution.. hm...
Warnings for Yurika's VD: a mention of sexual harassment, implications of Yurika and Takame's relationship being toxic or at least somewhat unhealthy, Yurika ends up having a mental breakdown.
Warnings for Yurika's MV: there are heavy implications of violence and murder, but all of it is "censored" in a way and is not detailed, aside from some blood imagery closer to the end.
(sounds of footsteps)
Hinode: So.. You did it.
Hinode: You told him the truth.
Hinode: He accepted it surprisingly quickly, haha.
Miki: Yes, and I'm glad..
Miki: Hehe.. I still can't believe he had a feeling that I really am his sister. Maybe that's why he always wanted to spend so much time with me.
Hinode: I'm very happy for you, but..
Hinode: Please don't forget your duties, Miki-san.
Hinode: Yurika-san has been voted guilty twice. Her final verdict is especially important.
Hinode: Maybe she will have a chance to live if we vote her innocent..
Hinode: But if not.. She will definitely get a death penalty.
Miki: .. Right.
(the door opens)
Yurika: A-ah, you're here.
Miki: Yes, um.. Is something wrong?
Hinode: You look nervous, Yurika-san.
Hinode: You know we were supposed to interrogate you today, right?
Yurika: .. I-I'm most likely going to get my head cut off by the end of this, are you expecting me to act chill about it?!
(the screen turns on)
Eiji: Or maybe you will be executed in a different way. Who knows.
Yurika: I-it's you!
Yurika: Oh, what, are you too scared to interrogate me in person?
Eiji: This is for my own safety-
Yurika: Okay, coward.
Yurika: Actually, who will even execute me if it comes to it?
Yurika: Or more like.. when it comes to it?
Miki: Now that I think about it..
Miki: I-I don't know.
Eiji: I was hoping that I would be the one doing the execution.
Hinode: Jackalope never mentioned anything about how the executions happen, but..
Hinode: .. I have a feeling that it's not gonna be our job.
Miki: Huh?
Hinode: We're responsible only for the prisoners' verdicts and what happens after that.
Hinode: Death penalty sounds like a big deal. Like, it's nothing like Eiji-san's punishments or the memory machine.
Hinode: So I don't think that we'll be the ones doing it.
Eiji and Miki: ...
Yurika: ..Who the fuck is Jackalope?
Yurika: And hellooooo, can we get started already?
Yurika: Actually, I have a question for you all.
Miki: But we're supposed to interrogate you and-
Yurika: Take a look at this.
Miki: ..It looks like a letter.
Yurika: Oh, it sure does. Now, do you remember what I got for Christmas?
Miki: ...
Yurika: Come onnnn, Miki. Think, think, think.
Miki: .. A-are you implying that I wrote this?
Yurika: Ohh, and why do you think that I'm blaming only you for this? You're not the only guard here, you know?
Yurika: Unless you see yourself as the only guard.
Miki: ...
Hinode: Yurika-san, may I ask what does the letter say?
Yurika: No, you may not.
Yurika: Look, I know my manager's handwriting. And this was not written by her.
Yurika: .. I have to admit that the way in which the letter is written.. sounds a lot like something she would say.
Hinode: .. Now this is interesting.
Hinode: So, the handwriting is different, but if you ignore that, the letter looks like something she would write?
Yurika: .. What are you implying?
Hinode: Well, you see, Yurika-san, we still don't know what exactly your other job was.
Hinode: So I was thinking, if it was something really dangerous and illegal, what if-
Yurika: Don't you say another word.
Yurika: You're trying to say that she's associated with Milgram in some way, right?
Hinode: Well, they couldn't just take ten random people and-
Yurika: She wouldn't do that.
Yurika: She wouldn't do this to me.
Yurika: I'll tell you what my other job was, just don't even think of blaming her for all of this.
Yurika: .. Takame-san wasn't an angel. But she was one to me.
Yurika: She did a lot of things that this society would call evil, but she gave me money, food and a place I could call home.
Yurika: .. She wouldn't just send me here for no reason.
Hinode: But what if she had a reason-
Yurika: If you keep acting like this, I'll start thinking you're the one who wrote the letter.
Eiji: Why do you even care about this letter so much? It's like you care about it more than your verdict.
Yurika: 'Cause my verdict doesn't matter.
Yurika: You all will just keep playing with our lives, voting us innocent or guilty based on your own likes and dislikes, so in the end there will never be any true justice for the victims. Or us, if you still care about us.
Eiji: ...
Yurika: So why should I care? Go on, vote a guy like Kei innocent. Do it! His crimes don't matter as long as he's attractive!
Yurika: Do it. Fucking kill me already.
Yurika: Just at least answer my question first.
Yurika: .. Who wrote the letter?
Miki: .. We don't know either. Sorry.
Yurika: ...
Yurika: .. Fine.
Yurika: *sighs* Anyway, you wanna know about my other job, right?
Miki: Yes.
Miki: And we want to know what exactly you did to your victims and why.
Yurika: .. Well, what do you think my other job was?
Yurika: Hey, Eiji, have any theories?
Eiji: .. I can definitely say that it's something you've done many times and it's also something you were okay with doing for the money.
Eiji: Your second video also made me feel like.. It's something you were taught to see as a good thing.
Eiji: Maybe you even saw it as a way to.. help people in some way.
Miki: "Eiji-san is really trying his best.. I guess I should've expected that he would know a lot about stuff like that because of his family.."
Miki: ".. But he has never actually killed anyone, right?"
Eiji: .. Hey.
Eiji: Did you have to be really careful while doing it?
Yurika: .. Y-yeah. Yeah, I've made a few mistakes before, but with Takame-san's help, I-
Eiji: You got a lot of money for it, right?
Yurika: Definitely more than what I got for working at a maid cafe.
Eiji: Did it feel gross?
Yurika: What kind of question is that?!
Yurika: I-I mean, imagine a girl like me, who was so used to always getting what she wants no matter what, suddenly going through someone's insides-
Yurika: !
Hinode: ...
Miki: .. W-what..
Yurika: .. Haha. You got me. Congrats.
Eiji: .. Was it organ harvesting?
Yurika: .. Yeah. Yeah.
Yurika: That's what I was ready to do for a living. I was that desperate.
Yurika: Just so you understand. Yes, we kidnapped people. Yes, we killed them.
Yurika: Yes, most of those people were our customers. That's one of the reasons why Takame-san came up with the idea of having a maid cafe.
Yurika: Look, fine, I killed more than ten of those guys to have their organs harvested, but who cares?!
Yurika: Like, yes, it was some kind of.. you know, black market stuff that I never bothered to learn more about and Takame-san never told me and just said to see it as a good thing, because maybe their organs will actually be useful or something..
Yurika: BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THEM?! MOST OF THEM LIVED ALONE, THEY HAD NO ONE TO MISS THEM, NOBODY CARES WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM!
Yurika: SO MANY OF THEM HAVE HARASSED ME AND MY COWORKERS NOT ONCE, BUT MULTIPLE TIMES! TAKAME-SAN TOLD ME THAT THEY DESERVED TO DIE!
Miki: ...
Eiji: ...
Eiji: .. They.. really did not deserve to live.
Yurika: Right?! I just.. I just..
Yurika: *starts crying* I just.. I didn't want to feel like I was..
Yurika: Doing something bad..
Yurika: Takame-san kept saying that it's okay..
Yurika: "It's their fault", "We're not in the wrong"..
Yurika: S-she always hugged me after we were done and tried to comfort me..
Yurika: E-even if I fucked things up, e-even if I cried, even if I said I can't do it a-anymore..
Yurika: I-it's like.. s-she really.. loved me..
Hinode: .. So if those murders weren't really.. your fault, since you were only an accomplice..
Hinode: It's safe to assume that you're here for something you've done on your own?
Yurika: Takame-san helped me with it, of course, but..
Yurika: I-it was mostly my idea.
Yurika: T-that's probably why I'm here.
Miki: ..W-why did you kill them?
Yurika: .. One of them was really curious about my job, for whatever reason.
Yurika: Probably because she had a blog and didn't know what to post about or something..
Yurika: A-and she just.. kept getting on my nerves.
Yurika: She wanted to learn everything about me. Sometimes it felt like she was literally stalking me.
Miki: ".. Her first interrogation.."
Yurika: Her brother helped her too. So, uh, eventually they did find out and..
Yurika: .. I-I couldn't do this anymore.
Yurika: I needed them to die.
Yurika: "How could you do something like this just for money?" SHUT UP! SHUT UP, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE ME!
Yurika: They needed to die. They deserved to die.
Yurika: I-it's okay, nobody would miss them anyway.. Who cares..
Yurika: Sure, they were pretty, I guess, they were popular, I guess..
Yurika: But it's fine, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine..
Eiji: .. She's losing it.
Miki: I-I can see that.
Hinode: Since her manager is not with her, she's trying to comfort herself without her help.
Hinode: And I don't think it's working.
(bell rings, machinery sounds)
Eiji: We should extract her video. Hopefully she doesn't realize what's happening.
Miki: R-right..
Miki: Prisoner-
Yurika: NO!
Yurika: PLEASE, I DON'T WANT TO DO IT AGAIN!
Yurika: YOU'RE JUST GOING TO VOTE ME GUILTY AGAIN! YOU JUST WANT TO KILL ME ALREADY, DON'T YOU?!
Eiji: Didn't you say that you're okay with that?!
Yurika: SHUT UP, I'VE REALIZED HOW IMPORTANT MY LIFE IS!
Yurika: Or.. no, no, it's not important at all..
Yurika: Actually.. I don't think anyone would care if I died.. Even Takame-san..
Yurika: .. BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO DIE!
Yurika: PLEASE, DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH ME, PUNISH ME IN ANY WAY YOU WANT, USE MY BODY AS A TOY TO PLAY WITH, FORCE ME TO BECOME A MAID EVEN FOR THE FUTURE PRISONERS OR SOMETHING!
Yurika: JUST PLEASE, DON'T-
Yurika: ...
Yurika: H-huh?..
Yurika: What is going on?..
Miki: "Looks like the machine worked.."
Miki: Hey. Hey, you're okay.
Miki: You're fine.
Yurika: W-who are you?.. W-what is this place?
Yurika: What are you-
Miki: Prisoner 008, Yurika, for the last time, sing your sins.

[ Yurika's Trial 3 MV: Secret Ingredient ]
The video starts with showing us a dark forest. We can see a young man and woman walking, looks like they're around the same age. They look nervous, but for some reason they keep going and it looks like they're looking for something or someone.
"Hey, hey, what are you two doing here?
Maybe you should stop sticking your nose into other people's business?
Come on, just let me live!
Like what do you want me to do? Reward you and say how brave you are?"
Suddenly, they hear someone's steps and while the man tries to leave, the woman makes him stay and listens closer to the steps. She tries to follow that mysterious person and she's really determined to find them. She sees that person's footprints and as she stops to take a closer look, we can see someone sneaking up from behind and hitting her on the head with something that looks like a broom.
"Oh well, don't say I didn't warn you
This is what happens to disgusting people like you
Justice? Morals? Oh, shut up!
You would do the same if you were me"
The woman opens her eyes. She's sitting on a chair and everything around her looks like it's made out of candy. The colors are very cute and nice to look at. She notices that she's not alone and someone is sitting in front of her. That someone smiles and waves their hand at her.
It's Yurika who looks like she's dressed as a witch.
"So you wanted to know what I do? Let me give you a tour!
Trust me, it's 100% safe
Nobody gets out of here alive, but that's okay!
You wouldn't want to continue living after being here"
The woman gets more nervous and she tries to talk to Yurika, but Yurika doesn't seem interested and instead turns to the door. The door opens and Takame, who is also dressed up as a witch, walks in. Yurika smiles and runs up to Takame to hug her. Takame smiles back and pats her on the head.
"But I have everything I've ever wanted here
This is my home, it's perfect for someone like me
I've found love, money, warmth and my purpose
I guess you could say I'm completely satisfied"
The woman meanwhile tries to leave, but fails because Takame notices and pushes Yurika away. Yurika doesn't seem to mind and even seems excited about what Takame is about to do. The woman falls on the floor because of how scared she is. Takame simply smiles at her and claps her hands.
Everything goes dark.
Now it's the man opening his eyes. The scene takes place outside of the house and both him and the woman from earlier are tied up. Yurika laughs at them as Takame is making a fire with her magic.
"What do you two think you're doing? Hey, hey, don't you know it's dangerous here?
Well, it's your fault now, shouldn't have taken a walk in the woods when it's this dark
What should we do with you? Should we tie you up? Should we cut off your limbs?
I bet you two taste like fear and betrayal, let me take a bite!"
The woman looks at the fire and at their ropes and it looks like she's asking Yurika what's going on. Yurika smiles and pulls out a knife. The woman starts shaking as Yurika gets closer to her and gets surprised when Yurika cuts her ropes.
"So you want to know why am I like this? Why do I do this?
Don't I feel any shame? Don't I feel any guilt?
Here's the thing: no matter how many times you point at me and say "Guilty"
I won't feel anything, I'm too busy trying to survive"
The woman thinks that she's free for a moment, but then we see her face expression suddenly change and it looks like she's in great pain. We see Yurika stabbing her in the stomach, but the blood looks.. weird. It's pastel pink and sparkly. Yurika doesn't even look at the man and simply walks past him and we see that the reason why he didn't do anything at all and why we haven't seen much of him is because he was already close to dying because of being stabbed in the chest and now he's clearly dead while his eyes are still open. His blood is the same as the woman's.
"I just want to live, I just want to live
Can someone let me live a normal life
I've never wanted this, but it looks like I was born for this
It's like I was born to be a witch ready to be burned"
Takame walks up to the man and puts her hand on his chest. It's unclear what she's trying to do at first, but then we see her trying to make the wound bigger and "opening up" his chest, making everything even more bloody. She tries to grab something out of his wound and it's revealed to be some candies. She throws them and Yurika quickly catches them and puts them inside of a bucket that has a Halloween pumpkin drawn on it. Later, we see that the bucket is completely full and that Takame is now doing the same thing with the woman and Yurika is helping her. Their hands are bloody and they have some blood on their faces and clothes as well, but they don't care.
"Actually, I think what I do is great!
We're helping people, at least that's what I want to believe
Don't blame me, blame the system
Blame the society, just please, blame everyone but me!"
When they're finally done, Takame gives Yurika a nod and Yurika excitedly runs up to the fire and starts burning the bodies. The bodies start to melt, looking like they were made out of ice cream or something similar. At least we can say for sure that the bodies look like they definitely aren't human.
"I just wanted to live, I still want to live
Don't hunt me down, don't light me on fire
I still have something to hope for, something to fight for, something to live for
Something to kill for, something to destroy for, something I'm too scared to die for"
When the bodies are gone, Takame walks up to Yurika and holds her hand. Yurika blushes and looks really happy. They watch the fire become brighter and brighter and they start to dance. While dancing, Yurika trips and it looks like she's about to fall.
"So just save me with your love-shaped candy already-"
The setting changes completely. It looks like some kind of dark room. We can see blood on the walls. It's dark red. It's real human blood and not like what we've seen earlier. We hear something being dropped on the floor. The music stops playing. We hear Yurika say "I'll go get it". We can hear her steps.
Suddenly, we see Yurika, with empty eyes, messy hair, a medical mask, and it looks like she's looking for what she had dropped. Except it looks like we're looking at her from the POV of that thing. She grabs us with her hand.
The video ends.

Okay one more milgram post then I gotta sleep but unfortunately I think they could easily pull a mid-t3 character death and still have all 10 songs. If the character is hurt enough over the hiatus Jackalope can announce they don't have much longer, but conveniently just long enough to make it to their extraction/voting period. I still don't know how final verdicts will be set up, but it'll give people the chance to vote despite their fate being doomed...

The Jaune BS
Hazel: Jaune I know you are upset but I assure you it
Jaune: What? Hazel I am completely fine.
Hazel: Wait what?
Jaune: Yeah man. I'm glad. I'm finally done with this crap.
Adam: Damn man was it that bad?
Jaune: Bro my character kept getting violated in the show. Bro, volume 6, when I came up with a plan to steal an Atlas airship, I didn't even get a chance to lead the shit.
James: That was your idea. You endangered alot of people.
Jaune: shit still worked. Would have gone without a hitch if wasn't Blake's somehow abusive and obsessive ex-boyfriend showing up out of nowhere.
Roman: How did you find her anyways?
Adam: I honestly don't know.
Jaune: Volume 7, I was training and learning to extend my aura. Even though a certain someone suggested it but never showed me how.
Vine: oh… I am so sorry.
Jaune: That would have been useful in finding Oscar instead of an ability to read emotions.
Pyrrha: Wow Ren character development was very pointless.
Jaune: Exactly.
Hazel: listen Jaune you're not the only one this show did dirty.
Jaune: Hazel for real.
Adam: You can't be serious right?
Roman: Mother of….
Hazel: What?
James: You died like a fucking hero. Even though you in ledges with the woman who wanted to end the world. Over your sister.
Hazel: And?
Jaune: You beat up and tortured Oscar. And switch up all because he told you one simple truth. How are you the good guy?
Hazel: I saved him. Plus James tried to blow up millions.
Jaune: That's true. But that's because he went insane.
James: Sleepless nights. Betrayal. And isolation.
Penny: Yeah he was down bad.
Jaune: And don't get started on the fact they keep mixing me and Ruby's characters up too.
Pyrrha: How so?
Jaune: Pyrrha, I had to kill Penny. Before, I didn't save Oscar. Twice. Afterwards, I was alone on an island. By myself. WAITING FOR RUBY. WHILE SEARCHING FOR A WAY HOME! I basically failed to help or save anyone. I failed as a leader. How come my problems seemed more irrelevant to Ruby's. Who never had to kill anyone. Who plans somehow work out in end. While mine somehow BLOW UP IN MY FACE!
Pyrrha: oh dear… that is horrible.
Jaune: And here's the crazy part. How come Ruby had her friends, a mice and literally a deemed goddess help her while I had nobody but a Jackalope. It took seeing the paper pleasers again for me to accept Penny's death.
Penny: but you had friend Weiss, Blake and Yang by your side.
James: But they talked bad about him.
Adam: And true enough they confronted him on the matter they didn't convince him. It basically just took talking with him.
Jaune: At a bad time no less.
Penny: Yeah that is concerning.
Jaune: And at least Hazel died like a G. We died from stupidity. Well except Roman and Pyrrha.
Penny: Not true.
Roman: Penny your death was crazy. Like you just gave up after everyone's efforts to save you. All because of Ruby.
Penny: I thought they were dead!
Jaune: yeah, so instead of living to honor her memory you just decided screw everything and let me kill you.
Penny: Yeah that does sound horrible.
Jaune: How were we friends?
Penny: … … I don't know.
Jaune: The only bad thing is I didn't even get my revenge on the cat. All those times hating Alyx met nothing. Then I get shot by one of my friends.
Alyx: Sorry again though.
Jaune: You good, and besides now that I'm gone I don't have to hear fans complain about me anymore.
Adam: Yeah too bad though.
Jaune: Why?
Adam: Cause we don't know if you are dead or not.
Jaune: So this is all a dream.
Adam: Maybe. We're just going have to find out.
Jaune: *sigh* Damn it.

I put together a few Lights, Camera, Sing Your Sins thoughts! Details about characters, filming, reactions, etc. I doubt I'll get the chance to smoothly work some of them into the drabbles, but I still wanted to share them :)
Post-T1 thoughts:
The first few days out of the prison are really weird and awkward – the prisoners got too deep in the immersion and are slowly remembering what’s real and talking some things out. Before these major emotions can wear off, they’re pulled aside by various writers and teams to make a plan for the next trial. They meet up with deco*27 himself and the songwriting begins
They each have a private bedroom in the facility. The first night, they’re all super excited to not be sleeping in those uncomfortable cells, and then immediately feel really closed off to the others. For some it remains a good thing – Yuno is glad for the isolation, Fuuta’s paranoia about judgment is eased, etc. Still, it’s strange to be separated from the people they’ve been side-by-side with for a year and a half, 24/7. Many of them end up sleeping on the floor of one another’s room or leaving their doors wide open.
Jackalope is using long distance tech to project his voice into the prison, but the animal in the prison is just a well-trained pet with some hardcore costuming. Freed from its little uniform, the rabbit gets lots of pets and pampering from the prisoners.
They aren’t allowed to leave and visitors must be for filming purposes only, but each prisoner is allowed a phone call (“hey, just like a real prison!” Jackalope laughs). Haruka calls his sister, and so does Fuuta. They stay on the phone for a really long time. Yuno calls her parents, making sure to say hi to Yura. Muu calls her parents too, and cries hearing their voices. Shidou calls his family; being separated from them for so long only confirms his near-miss intentions. Mahiru realizes too late she should have called her family – instead, fresh off the guilty verdict, she calls her ex to apologize profusely. Kazui considers a few people he could call, but doesn’t take Jackalope up on the offer right away. Later in the hiatus he calls his childhood friend just to say hi; he doesn’t mention any of the experiment stuff going on. Amane wanted to call her father, but she doesn’t want to break the news that she’s not doing a good job because of her verdict. She waits until she knows he’ll be out per his usual schedule, and leaves a brief and formal message on the machine. Mikoto calls his mom and sister, asking about how everyone’s doing (and largely avoiding talking about himself). Kotoko calls her family, surprised at how emotional she gets hearing their voices.
Jackalope makes the mistake of mentioning updated guilty uniforms in front of the prisoners. Fashion expert Mahiru, designer Mikoto, and just simply nosy Yuno and Muu track down the costuming team to “help.” Though there’s not a ton of alterations to be made, they enjoy being a part of the process. They end up sticking around and chatting about mv outfits.  Mahiru enjoys everyone’s choices and fittings, and promises Amane they’ll go shopping someday and have a proper dress fitting. She asks if Es is going to get a new uniform as well. When told no, she vows she’ll take them shopping as well.
Though not allowed to leave, they’re at least allowed to step outside in designated areas. They enjoy the sun and rain and stars. The smoking group is excited to meet outside. Mikoto makes sure to hang out with them a bit extra seeing as he’s going to leave the group a bit come T2.
I wrote the drabbles as individual scenes since it was nice to give each prisoner their own time like that, but logically some filming would be overlapped a bit. Jackalope would still want to direct everything as best he could, but there may be multiple scenes filming at once. I just really liked the idea of the mixing of props and costumes. They yell “cut!” as Bee Muu takes a shortcut through the Backdraft set. Yuno accidentally leaves her pink-glasses rabbit in one of the AKAA chairs and Haruka laughs in the middle of a take as he moves it out of frame. Amane is on a quick break from her scene and Mikoto shows her around the train still in full marching band getup. (I just realized these were all back to back videos, but I think any and all can overlap lol)
Shidou is still the one to administer Mahiru and Fuuta’s bandages. Even though it’s fake, he wants it a) to be his real handiwork and b) to be accurate, given the disaster of Throw Down. He’s excited to share his knowledge and explain exactly how each of their imagined injuries would affect them, telling them the proper way to act. Mahiru listens intently, all but taking notes, while Fuuta is bored to death of his doctor-jargon ramble.
Back pre-T1, Jackalope started off telling the prisoners they can choose their song titles (just for organization's sake, Es won’t see them) but he ends up taking over because their titles are really, really bad. It’s a mix of those really long sentence-style titles and cool words/phrases that have absolutely nothing to do with the song itself. Jackalope goes through the files renaming “The Sweet Whispers of A Lost Love,” “Fuck You,” “They say three strikes and you’re out but clearly they’ve never met me before” and “Kotokos_song.mp3”. By the time they start filming second trial videos, it doesn’t phase him to open up files titled “Elegy to a Broken Heart,” “I checked the train schedule five times and still missed my stop,” “I Can’t Be Normal,” and “Kotokos_song(1).mp3”.
And some post-T2 thoughts:
The verdicts are both easier and harder to handle this time around. This is the second break from the immersion, and it’s easier to separate reality from experiment. However, the videos and interrogations this time around were a lot more raw, so there’s an extra sting of betrayal to them. Es got to look deep – much deeper than most – and still chose not to forgive.
Haruka isn’t really worried about death or harm from the verdict, but he does feel betrayed that Es would throw his life away like that. Muu doesn’t fear the consequences, but is saddened that once again she made someone like her only to turn against her when they saw her true self. The t1 guilties have a little meetup where they breathe a collective sigh of relief and congratulate one another on making it through. Fuuta just kind of sinks in relief, while Mikoto is giving out high-fives. Then they make a beeline for the current guilties to see how they can help.
Mahiru and Mikoto were always helpful to the others, but Fuuta surprises everyone by constantly checking in with the guilty prisoners. He remembers how much the verdict sucked and wants to try and help/prepare them as much as he can.
Red appears every once and a while to force people to take breaks when filming gets very involved/tiring. While Blue is pretty chill and cheery about everyone staying hydrated and getting good sleep, Red is a bit more serious with his approach.
I think with another innocent verdict and seeing everyone 'behind the scenes,' Kazui would finally, finally start opening up to people. I like to think, as Yuno starts filming another video about very comfortable with her sexuality, he approaches her first with the topic.
When given the chance to make phone calls, most of the prisoners choose the same people as before. Haruka doesn’t want to call anyone at first, but is glad when Muu forces him to call his sister. He’s by her side when she calls her parents. Mahiru remembers to call her parents first, telling them to pass along her well wishes to others. She got the verdict she was hoping for, but Amane can’t bring herself to call home.
The upcoming videos will likely be even more intense, but that just makes everyone band together more. They give each other confidence. They work extra hard to get silly goofy when it’s in good taste.
