Okay so JJ would be skeptical from the start, You’ve been trying to get him to watch Teen Wolf forever and he finally gave in. 

“babe this seems kinda cheesy-” 

“JJ shut up this is the best show ever” 

“Alright, alright fine” He shuts up real quick. The first few minutes go by, and he noticed how you giggle gets a little bit more high pitched when you laugh at a certain buzzed headed character. 

“Is HE the reason you like this show??? He’s not even that cute! and he has a BUZZ CUT” 

“JJ MAYBANK WATCH YOUR MOUTH STILES IS ONE OF THE BEST FICTIONAL CHARACTERS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD” 

So he instantly doesn’t love Stiles because he knows you have a crush on him. But after a few witty comments, he finds himself laughing at Stiles a little more too. 

“Wait he’s not actually good at sports it’s just because he’s a werewolf now?”

“Yes babe he sucked at lacrosse before.”

Throw back to my Teen Wolf fandom days, but I legitimately can not remember if Boyd and Erica were actually in a relationship or if we the fandom just made it up.

Also I'm almost wondering if they brought Cora in just to try throwing the fandom a bone and give them a female version of Derek to make the Sterek shippers shut up?

And seriously, what the fuck was up with the last season? They really did us all so dirty with that ending. Like I get that it was all uplifting and cool, but that cliffhanger? Bullshit.

I'm not going to get into the fact that I'm not a Stydia fan because, honestly, I was so tired of the ship wars by the end of the series. It was draining. Whatever, it was a show and the queer baiting sucked but let's be real, we were never going to get bisexual Stiles.

I just wanted a nice little wrap up, but instead we had them gearing up for another fight and then nothing.

I'm definitely still pissed about Isaac, because we all know that he would have been at Scott's side in a heartbeat.

Anyway, Teen Wolf still makes me mad to this day.

Okay so I finally got to watch the last episode and I still haven’t 100% realized it’s over now… (if you haven’t and don’t wand to get spoilered, don’t continue to read)

Anyway the final fight… I don’t know, I mean mountain ash, really? That’s the big weapon? Like, the stuff they’ve been using for ages and now it’s suddenly able to kill this thing?

And once again the bad guys can hire skilled people for shit because they only managed to shoot them where it’s not killing them. Also, didn’t they give them at least silver bullets because, you know, if they didn’t they might as well throw rocks at the werewolves it won’t do shit to them.

But all in all I can’t really complain about the episode. I was happy to see some of the old characters get a nice or let’s say reasonable ending. Like Kate (did she die or…?) since she finally managed to do some good and Gerard who FINALLY got what he deserved. Also Melissa and Chris got to show how strong they are and that they found happiness in each other.

Also at least Stiles was a little complaining about them not calling him once but “we had good reasons” honestly doesn’t sound too convincing to me. And I can’t imagine Stiles being more stubborn with this. BUT we got some wit and sass from Jackson, Stiles and all the others which made me feel like watching an old episode where teen wolf was still comedy somehow. Ethan and Jackson are still kinda cute together even though it still feels random mostly. Unlike Mason and Corey who are just sweet and it feels like they actually like and found each other. Also, very sweet and not overly dramatic moment.

Which brings me to the Scalia kiss… like. I’m seriously sighing out loud. Even Stiles was like what the fuck dude. I mean, good for them. But what was that hand-holding between Lydia and Stiles in that moment? Because, duh, girl you haven’t even looked at that boy the entire episode and now you gotta hold his hand to ensure people are okay with Scalia kissing because Stiles and Lydia “are a thing”? I’m not really convinced. Don’t get me wrong, I support Stydia. It was nice at some points and made sense but… I don’t know that didn’t feel right.

Can I once again say thank god for Jackson? I don’t know why they kicked him out but damn, that boy got some style.

Also can we please talk about the Coach? Like, seriously? In this entire season, he was the only sane person and also where the fuck did he come from in that scene? Did he hide in the locker room? What is he doing at school at night? Even though none of this surprises me in any way.

It still surprises me how much they can make Scott the tragic hero who saves all. He’s a beautiful (human) being and he’s too precious, yes. But his fears? His fear was basically his loved ones turning against him. That’s beyond being a leader. Also, same thing with the mountain ash, I’m all for returning to the roots and creating continuity by using old elements from earlier seasons but, duh, Derek whipping out that blow torch and burning that yellow wolfsbane out of Scott’s shoulder… which was supposed to kill him. It felt like an old dilemma solved in seconds which used to take episodes to figure out. Also poor baby, how is his weakness still Allison?

But damn, I missed void!stiles. Seriously. There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t miss season 3 Stiles. Which makes me pretty thankful that they brought him back for more than the last 2 minutes of the episode. But I would have liked to see some heart-warming scenes between him and Scott and/or the Sheriff because.. obvious reasons. Also can I point out how Stiles and Derek basically came back for one episode and managed to solve all their problems in ONE EPISODE??!!

Skipping some unnecessary Liam/ Theo chemistry there because.. well.. there WAS something between them when they were standing in that elevator and even I, someone who doesn’t like them together at all, thought they should just shut up and make out. Also Liam was alright in that episode, not whiny like usual. And Theo got his dramatic tragic hero scene where he takes the bad guy’s pain to show he actually cares about people. Wow.

So… all in all… it was a nice and pretty good wrap up for this show, I guess? I’m more than sad to see it end but it was about time. I’m grateful for them bringing back (and not killing) the characters we loved to see (even though some where missing *cough* Isaac *cough*) and treating them with at least a little respect. The ending with Scott being the True Alpha™ he is and helping poor werewolves was a nice touch… even though it gives the illusion of a following series that’s about him helping kids without any other character being there. Just like they didn’t really solve the problem with Monroe but yeah… I’m hoping they’re not doing a spin off. (Unless it’s a Stiles/Scott (+ pack) comedy series) And I still don’t understand how they’re not going to college/ going to college because… those kids might be werewolves but they still gotta earn some money, you know? Although Derek and Peter never seemed to have a job or an income so I guess if you’re a supernatural creature you don’t need that.

ANYWAY.

I’m sad to not be able see these characters live on with their lives and fight for each other and sacrificing their lives for the ones they love because in the end, that’s what teen wolf was all about. Their friendship. Their pack.

You had a nasty history of not working for the good side of the time and that came with a lot of problems being that you were associated with the worst of the worst. You were really young when you had been recruited into Hydra to pay for your father’s debt towards the organization, you were placed in that life when you were seven.

You were known as being part of the Vipers that were given the most sensitive missions that came into the organization while being young adults. You weren’t the best of the group but you weren’t the worst either, the Vipers each had different codenames but you, being the first of the program, got the Viper title. However, you worked as hard as you could to pay that debt but in the process lost sight of the bad you were doing.

“Viper, we need your help.” The commander stated sitting in his chair, “While we are still building back to our powerful state again we need a failure removed.”

“What does the mission entail exactly?” You questioned.

“Brock Rumlow greatly disappointed us after his little sunburn. He fled the organization to take his own way. We need him put down.”

You nodded looking at the recent photograph of the ex-Hydra agent. His features were grotesque compared to his earlier attractive appearance, not that he was fuckable in your opinion but he had had looks. You remember the buzz of when the building came down on him and he had survived but Hydra had hoped his mishap would further unite him to the goals. He instead left. It had greatly angered everyone above you.

“Any information?” You questioned opening the file to read what little information there was in there.

“He goes by the code name ‘Crossbones’ and he’s got his eye on a biological weapon in Lagos. I’m sure you can figure out how to do this, weren’t you a toy he wanted?” The commander said leaning back in his chair yet still not slouching in comfort.

“I’ll read this over a few times and look at some maps before burning this.” You replied.

“Dismissed.”

It appeared you weren’t the only looking to put Rumlow down, the Avengers had managed to get there shortly after you. You had spent your time stalking Rumlow for a full day before planning what you would like to go about doing this. It had to be quiet and fast so you let the Avengers destroy as always before stepping in.

Rumlow was holding his thumb on the button of the bomb with Captain America close by and you took the chance to take your shot. Your bullet was deep already out of the back of Rumlow’s head when the bomb went off under the red dome. You made your way around the scene where the bullet lodged into a cement building before you were out. You got so close before a red mist held you captive.

“Who are you?” Captain America asked standing in front of you.

“That’s something you say a lot don’t you?” You rhetorically asked trying to fight the mist coming from that Scarlet Witch.

“Who are you? Who do you work for?”

“None of your damn business. Brock Rumlow needed to be put down and I did that.”

You could see the emotionally traumatized Scarlet Witch’s power was weakened enough to get lose and start racing off. You could feel the group chasing you before you went around the corner and dropped into the manhole before pulling it over. The group raced past stopping above before continuing in the direction you had originally been in,

“Steve, we’re not going to find her.” Nat said off to the side of the covered hole, “She’s part of the Viper program. She’s the first of them.”

“We’ll find her.”

“Steve, Wanda can’t find her. She’s not okay. We have to get back to the Tower.”

“We’ll continue to look for her. First we go home and regroup. We have to find out who order Rumlow’s death and why.”

The Avengers returned back to the quinjet to get away from the country left in shambles from the fight, this was a reason you were happy to not be part of them. They felt destruction in their wake when a member of their team was hurt and if they believed it wasn’t their fault. It reminded you of the people you were part of so you returned to the your headquarters with a plan in mind.

For the next month you went on missions as per usual will strategically planning your leave from the group. It wouldn’t matter much, you had progressively began to slow down your ability to do your job in order to loosen their hold on you. They wouldn’t want a defective agent on their hands and as long as you didn’t fuck up they would let you go.

On the last mission you did you went up against the person that a year before you would have put down fast but with your acting you knew it was now or never. You knew that your commander was toying with the idea of letting you go instead of killing you but that would mean you were still connected to the group.

“Viper, we have a mission for you.” The commander said as you stood in front of his desk.

“What’s the mission, Sir?” You questioned not bothering to piss him off by sitting down like your young self would have done.

“We need you to kill Black Widow.”

“Why?”

“She’s costed us agents and we need to show the Avengers we are not weak. We are not them.”

You found the reason to be really stupid because they weren’t well known to the heros of the world, only few people that escaped the ‘bad’ life knew. They didn’t tell anyone because of all the things they did were kept from even their closest friends. Some things shouldn’t be spilled to the world and having those against a person kept them shut.

“I’m on it.” You replied climbing to your feet. In your mind you knew exactly what you would do, spinning a story to the Avengers with a fake promise would get to your goal.

With weapons strapped to your body you had flown to where the Black Widow was to take her down while quietly telling her what you needed from her. You had blackmail on her if she decided to not go your way. You first casually bumped into her to plant a fake tracker on her body, knowing she would know in seconds before tracking you down.

“Viper.” Black Widow hissed dropping the tracker on the ground before digging her heel into it. You tossed her to the ground in response.

“Make it look real. I’m trying to escape the system, I need your help. Make it look like you’ve killed me.” You cussed when blood dribbled down your chin.

“How do I know you’re not lying?”

“In my back pocket there’s directions to a location where I’ve stored every piece of documents on you. The stuff you don’t want your friends and co-workers to know. Help me and I’ll help you.” You replied. You knew she agreed when her hits lessened in strength just slightly you grunted to time your next words, “Stab me somewhere that looks like it would kill me but won’t.”

Every punch was matched perfectly with carefully planted kicks and moves to land blows on the other, you weren’t going to go out fucked up. You did however pretend to slowly tire out by timing your throws off and missing her body until she electrocuted you with her stingers and you felt the very real pain of a knife in your body. While you grew ‘weaker’ you bit the capsule held under your tongue that you had crafted yourself, it would slow your pulse and heart rate to a near stop and your body would turn that ugly color when death rolled in. The best part was the perfected death stare you would take on.

“Sir…” The voice of someone from your job started, “I found Viper. Black Widow got away but she won the fight. Viper’s dead.”

Thomas was one of the agents that shadowed people on missions, he was notoriously placed with you given your capabilities and mutual respect. You stayed in role when he lifted your body into the back of the truck he had before driving off to the drop off location. This new person would take your body to the incinerator where you had managed to stow an already dead body that was a near copy of you.

When the person left for needed supplies you switched places with the dead body before slipping out the widow where a getaway bag was hidden. You watched as the man dumped the body into the machine with the cover and all before closing the door. You slipped away undetected.

You had managed to stay under the radar when shit went down, Hydra had wiped out the people you had worked for. Everyone associated with the Viper program or came into contact with a member was wiped away both physically and throughout history. A doctor that tended a severely injured agent was killed, a spouse unaware of their significant others’ job was found dead in accidental ways and you knew no one would know of the group.

You had moved to a town in California to take a job in the Sheriff Department earning a position of a skilled detective and coroner while commonly called Jordan Parrish’s partner. The town’s population had dropped in the last year leaving the department lacking in officers. You pretended you were older than your real age, only twenty instead of your real 18 year old age, which wasn’t entirely good when your boss’ son was around your age and back for the summer.

“What does a girl like you want in a small town like this?” Stiles questioned, “I mean…you’re a freaking detective!”

“Yes I am. I needed a change from the city I first worked in. The minute I heard of a transfer I was out of there.” You replied easily spinning a lie to the boy. He hummed tilting his head.

“You should tell me more over coffee.”

“I’m fine.” You replied returning to filling out a report. It was a sloppy one made by a new deputy that was shaken from an encounter with a large dog with hair on its face only. Poor guy pissed himself leading you to confirm that he wasn’t capable to know of the supernatural.

“Come on.”

“I think your mutt of a best friend would be jealous. Don’t want him complaining I’m taking over his walking hour.”

Stiles was silent as he eyed you suspiciously, that comment wasn’t the first animal related one towards his friends. Since the Ghost Riders had left Beacon Hills he had lessened on pushing every newcomer in Beacon Hills into the untrustworthy category. It didn’t help that you were crushable and bad ass while being single, with his fling with Lydia during the summer following senior year he was itching to find love.

“You know.”

“That you take your werewolf best friend on walks?” You chuckled, “Yeah, I know. Hard not to when article pop up about this town.”

“Stiles…” Sheriff Stilinski began from his open door, “Leave Detective Y/L/N to her work, you still have work to do yourself.”

“Dad-“

“No. Stiles, you’ve taken a summer job here. You aren’t FBI yet and you need to learn the small town filing system.”

Stiles huffed before removing himself from the chair next to your desk while loudly making his way towards the filing room. You chuckled before sharing a look with your boss as he retreated into his office. You were humming as lunch came by with your food half eaten, you were using your break time to read up about world news when you heard the clearing of a throat.

You swiveled in your chair only to lodge the bite of your sandwhich in your throat. Standing before you was a man wearing a blank navy hat worn low over his eyes and a non-descript jacket over a blank white shirt. You recognized the blue eyes and aura along with the woman with him. Standing in all her glory with only that recognizable smirk was a disguised Black Widow and Captain America.

“Ma’am, I’m Steve Rogers and this is Natasha Romanoff. We need your help.”

I spent most of my downtime at the library or at home. I usually only went out for groceries or to hang out with the pack but I never failed to have some books with me.

I was walking home from the library when I was joined by Peter.

“Hello darling,” he greeted me.

“Peter,” I responded, barely looking up from my book. I had mastered walking and reading a while ago.

“You should really watch where you're going,” he warned.

I side stepped the light pole and kept reading.

“Well, that’s just a coincidence,” he insisted.

“What do you want Peter?” I asked, finally putting my book away.

“Well I thought I should escort a young lady home. After all it is dangerous for someone as beautiful as you to walk home, alone, at night,” he explained.

“I’ve walked home by myself many times Peter and I don’t think tonight will be any different from those nights,” I respond.

“Oh but it is different,” he says with a hint of a smirk.

“Oh yeah? And how’s that?” I ask looking at him.

“Well this time you have me going home with you,” he flat out smirks.

“You’re not going home with me Hale,” I say as I turn towards my house.

“Oh come on, you know you want me Y/N,” he puffed his chest out a bit.

“Thank you for the awful walk home Peter,” I say as I key my keys out. “I would say it was a pleasure but it wasn’t,” I open the door and walk in right in, closing it before he can say anything else.

Sure Peter was attractive, but I couldn’t just give in. The pack hated him and well, I felt like I was betraying them if I went out with Peter.

I put my things down and went up to my bedroom. I took a warm shower and got ready for bed.

This went on for many a moon. Every time I left the library, Peter would be there waiting for me.

Today was the night!

Today was the night, I was going to take him up on his offer.

I walked out of the library but Peter wasn’t there, strange, he’s usually always here. I look around and he’s nowhere to be found.

I decide to go to his house, he pointed it out one night when he was walking me home. It was relatively close to my house.

I got to his house and knocked, no answer. Well he did say I was welcome anytime, I think to myself.

I try the doorknob and it’s open, does he always keep it open? I push the door open and call out to him, again no response.

“Peter, you here?” I try again.

I hear a thud on the second floor and then Peter shows up at the top of the stairs, in nothing but a sheet over his waist.

“Y/N, what are you doing here?” his eyes darting to the place he came out from, every once in awhile.

“I uh, you weren’t there today so I thought I would come check on you,” I explained, trying not to stare to much.

“I-”

“Peter what’s the hold up?” I heard a feminine voice say. “Oh,” she came to stand behind Peter and put her hands around him. “Is this your plaything?” she asked.

I felt my heart shatter. I looked up at Peter and he looked at me with sad eyes.

“It was going to happen,” I look him dead in his eyes and then walk out of the there.

“Y/N! Y/N wait!” I hear Peter yelling after me but I start running.

Sadly he’s a lot faster and he catches up and grabs me by the waist, “let me got!” I start kicking and hitting trying to get out of his grip.

“Y/N please, just let me explain,” he exclaimed.

“Explain? Explain what?! Explain that you were fucking an Argent! Kate Argent who burned you family to ash! How the hell are you going to explain that?!” I started yelling at him.

He let me go briefly only to throw me over his shoulder and start walking. I was still kicking and trying to get out of his hold.

I saw the familiar steps of my house and calmed down a teeny tiny bit but I was still pissed at him.

He set me down on the living room couch and kneeled in front of me. “Please just hear me out.”

“No! I want you to leave and never come back!” I slapped him multiple times until he caught hold of my hands.

“Y/N stop. Just let me talk,” he begged me.

I started pulling my hands back but he wouldn’t budge so I did the only thing I could think of, I headbutted him. I heard a crunching noise and he let go of my hands. I took that opportunity and made a run to my room. I got in and locked the door.

“Y/N open up,” I heard Peter on the other side.

I slid down the door and just sat there, finally letting the tears flow. And I thought he was genuinely interested in me.

“Y/N please. Don’t shut me out,” he begged. “Please just, let’s talk please.”

I got up and went to the shower, hoping he would leave. I got into my jammies and crawled into beds, crying myself to sleep.

It’s kind of sweet that they didn’t show Stalia sex scene, kisses, cuddling or other intimate scenes. Like, we remember them. They happened. Trying to erase them from the CANON won’t work. Fuck you writers.

Liam got more fighting scenes in this ep  than Scott in entire season.

Basically, I have a message for Teen Wolf writers and producers:

St*dias make out that they're the most popular ship. Um. Do they have 50k fic on ao3? Nope. 3k and half of those would be sterek fics with past Lydia/Stiles LOL. I even checked out their fan art and well.. not that great.....

Okay I know this is kinda late fam...but, I typed out a long ass reply only for tumblr to fuck me over and the post disappeared, and then I tried again and my shit froze...so I’m make this one to the point lol.

As we all know fanart is in part majorly created from disappointment cracks in the original work. It is both celebratory of being a part of a fandom and a way to place your own desires that aren’t being met into that world. So lets be honest, even when Stydias were tossed to the side like a used rag...they still had more of a place in the ‘real’ (canon) world than we (sterek fans) did. The moment the show jumped back on the Stydia bandwagon...their fandom shut up. Because their only goal is being canon...so they aren’t dissatisfied. They look towards the show to give them what they want, so that works in them not having a high number of fanworks...cause they never felt like they HAD to have fanworks. Of course this causes me to side eye them cause I can’t believe how many of them seem to accept what they got...like the storyline is horrid, but they aint busy busting out fics showing how it could be better. 

Sterek fans on the other hand are very different...fan works for us are a way of rebelling, they’re our proof of life/existence, they’re our survival plan and our route to showing we’re better. I think people don’t get it when speak like that but its simple really. This show literally disrespected us, tried everything they could think of to eliminate us. Therefore, our work, our celebratory is done to go against that grain. And at the end of the day we aren’t gonna let any of them - Stydias, Sciles, Stalia, or whoever else, claim they have the number one spot. Everyone knows whats popping...lets not pretend. For years shit has been taken and we ain’t-let me repeat- we ain’t doing that no more, def not with this. I get they think this is a ship war...but it ain’t (I don’t know why they would want it to be...them levels ain’t the same). 

I think it makes sense that the numbers are so high. A lot of people were okay with what went down with Sterek fans, and theyre still okay with it today...but Sterek fans weren’t and still aren’t. There was a lot of anger and disappointment and those emotions were used as a motivation in the fan work. So no matter if people were creating fics, metas, art, videos, or just being the cheerleader...everyone had a role, had a part. Some people don’t understand how important that cheerleader is, because thats one of the greatest thing about the Sterek fandom, there was always people gearing for more, there were always praises in the air. Even if a fic isn’t liked...we don’t say its terrible and refuse to recommend it. There was a vibe of...you put in the work and that deserves a correct treatment. These people spend hours, days, and sometimes so much more to create these works for a fandom, a relationship we were repeatedly told didn’t exist...and I think thats why we have so much love/respect for our fancreators. They def put in more thought process than the writers of Teen Wolf.

I don’t recall seeing any Stydia fanart...thats not shade, I’m being 100. I don’t read stydia fanfics although I’ve read some with past stydia. And I don’t go into the Stydia tag...I can barely deal when someone reblogs it and it ends up on my dash. I’m telling you fam...I had to take a whole day break from tumblr to get away from it one day. I’ve had to unfollow people...I couldn’t do it. But I can’t unfollow mutual I talk to cause...we tight and shizz..and I would never tell them what to blog/not blog cause I’d come at them if they tried that with me. But Stydia is def NOTP for me. I have been to the anti-stydia tag once. It was wild...mad wild...I enjoyed it. Laughs aside, I don’t think we should imply their shit sucks...even if its not to our liking. They did the work and put it out there and thats what counts. I personally get anxiety with my own stuff, its a constant battle that is sometimes so powerful it stops me from even creating. They might still be in the learning stages. They aren’t getting paid/rewarded. 

I may dislike Stydias, I may side-eye them to hell and back, I also have no respect for their take on this show/ that relationship and deep down I wonder at the quality of creativity of someone who thinks Teen Wolf is the bomb dot com...but I would never want to say anything that creates a complex in their creativity. In truth my biggest wish...is for everyone to understand that even in things like writing...its not an opinion...things can be poorly (horridly) written. Theres rules even in the creative field. And productions like Teen Wolf are an example of what not to do - in and outside. Honestly my biggest fear is 20 years from now I’ll look up and there will be 1000′s of Teen Wolfs in the medium. Now that may mean a different thing for me and for them. But I feel like fandom is a place to practice your craft and I want that for them, just like I want it for us. Sterek fans converse a lot about writing, and def writing on this show, and my favorite times are when I hear one say they hope they can do better, be better, create better quality and treatment than this show. 

Everyone deserves the knowledge that they can be better, can do better than Teen Wolf.

A/N: I think I wrote this up between 6x04 and 6x05, so I apologize that like this probably isn’t gonna be the most accurate thing in the world in regards to how they reunite, but this was just how I saw it happening at that point in time. And I figured since tonight we may very well be getting the stydia reunion scene (key word: MIGHT), I’d upload this....... you know to compare it to afterwards. Hahaha.

There's people everywhere, Lydia’s pushing past them, running through them trying to get to him. To get to Stiles.

She can see him. It's like she has tunnel vision and he's the only thing she sees. He seems so far away, it feels like with each step she takes, with each click of her heels on the tiled floor he's getting further and further away.

“Stiles!” She calls out, hoping he'll hear her, but there's so many voices buzzing as people try and escape. So much chaos.

She tries again.

And for a second she thinks maybe he heard her. But then he looks around, blankly, staring right through her. And she wants to jump and scream and yell and wave her arms until he's not looking through her anymore. Until all he can see is her.

But for now she's stuck running, sprinting, and yelling his name through the crowd of forgotten people.  

Finally, the path to Stiles seems a little shorter, so she screams his name again, and this time his beautiful romantic eyes land on her, widening. “Lydia!” He starts sprinting towards her.

And she has to remind herself to breathe while running because all she wants to do is laugh at the fact that their lives feel like a such a fucking movie sometimes, it's ridiculous.

A moment later, she’s being literally swept off her feet in Stiles’ arms. “You came for me.” He whispers, and Lydia registers the shock in his voice.

“You came for me! I knew you would come for me!” He exclaims, a grin spreading across his face as he puts her down and pulls her into a bear hug.

Stiles isn’t usually one for hugs, but right now that is going right out the door because Lydia’s here. She came for him. She remembered.

Slowly, he pulls away from the hug, and just stares at her in awe. “You remembered.”

The surprise in his words tugs at her heart as she nods, her brows pulled together, a small smile pulling the corners of her lips up, tears stinging her bottom lashes.

The quiver of her lips is visible. And Stiles wants it to stop, but then she’s saying, “Of course…..of course I remembered.” There’s a shakiness in the last word and Lydia’s vision is blurred.

Stiles brushes back her hair, out of her face.

“I love you.” She whispers, eyes locked on his, tears spilling down her face.

His thumb stills on her cheek bone and there’s a little flutter of his eyelids as he processes those three words and the fact that Lydia just spoke them to him.

Stiles moves his thumb down to her lips, brushing over them, her bottom lip gets caught for a second and then he’s inching his face towards her at a slight angle with his eyes shut. And Lydia can feel his hot breath closing in on her lips, slowly.

He’s hesitating, she realizes before she becomes impatient and leans up to press her lips to his. (Actually, he’d just like to point out that he was building the tension and that Lydia ruined it.)

Electric sparks through their veins, and Stiles stops being shy, kissing her roughly. Emotions running wild on both sides. Everything that had happened between them since the last time they kissed, which was over a year ago, everything had built up to this moment. To their lips crashing together, passionately. To the “I love you.” To them being together. 

When they pull away, breathless, it takes almost another fifteen seconds before either of them open their eyes, the air between them is more charged now.

In the distance, Scott and Malia come running up, panting a little. And Scott smiles widely, when he realizes what’s just happened between his two best friends.

“It’s about time.” Malia comments, bluntly. 

Lydia’s cheeks heat up as her eyes meet Stiles, a crinkle in them. And Stiles feels his face go red at Malia’s comment, not realizing that the entire pack probably saw this coming from a mile away.

The flustered boy breaks eye contact with Lydia, eyes finding Scott’s, a crooked smile playing on his face as the two boys think that the ten year plan worked. He didn’t have to stretch it to fifteen, though, to be honest, that whole thing was joke. He never really had a plan to make Lydia fall for him, which just makes the fact that she did fall for him even better.
