Yoosung can barely contain his excitement. MC has magic powers? For real? Is he dreaming about LOLOL again? This is his greatest fantasy come to life. He may be a tad overwhelming with all of his questions and requests for demonstrations, because he wants to compare his understanding of magic from LOLOL to the real deal. But his enthusiasm is innocent and almost contagious. MC needs to tell him if they need a break.

Zen is surprised, but in a good way. He's almost relieved, even. He wants to know all about MC's abilities, and then in a hushed whisper, he will ask, "Will you believe me if I tell you about my own powers, too?" Nobody else takes his precongnitive dreams very seriously, but maybe he's found a kindred spirit. Maybe he'll feel less like a freak now.

Jaehee is unamused and skeptical until MC demonstrates for her. After that she's curious, but in a different way from Yoosung. She wants to reconcile her understanding of the world and how it operates with this new information about the existence of magic. She blushes a lot when MC shows her more & more of her powers, and she isn't sure why. Is it awe? Admiration? Respect? Intrigue? Something... else?

Jumin is going to bother MC about their powers. Again, not in a negative way, but in an inquisitive way. He almost wants to study MC and take notes on how their powers operate, differences in strength/quality depending on the weather or time of day, the origin of the powers, alternative uses for the powers, etc. Jumin is fascinated by the occult, so he's validated to find that magic exists after all. He just can't help but get absorbed in MC and their abilities, much like he does with his 100 cat projects.

707 is excited to see what MC can do. He wants to see if he can replicate their powers with his inventions or make a companion who can balance them out. Cue him locking himself away and making gadgets and gizmos and doo-dads until he feels confident in what he has made. He may spy a little too closely on the CCTV to obtain as much data as possible, but-- gaah, MC, don't change your shirt RIGHT THERE in FULL VIEW!!!!

Ray is smitten with MC and everything they can do. Of course, he already knew about their abilities from his spying preparation. He probably knows more about MC's magic than MC does. But he'll still sit and nod politely, hooked on their every word as they explain their powers to him. He makes certain to keep this a secret from his Savior, however, lest she try to snatch his doll away before he's molded them perfectly for paradise.

V is stunned. He's genuinely flabbergasted. He'd probably be quiet for a long moment, not sure of what to say or do to approach the subject. He doesn't want to say something wrong that might offend MC; he knows all too well what happens if you mistreat someone vulnerable. MC might worry that he's disgusted or horrified, but he'd do his best to reassure them that's not the case. He wants MC to feel comfortable, and he won't treat them any differently.

Vanderwood is less than thrilled. Honestly, they're probably annoyed. "I can't catch a break, can I?" But something about MC is charming and captivating, and Vandy can't stay mad at them for something they can't control. "Just don't make any more trouble for me, alright? You're a good kid, and I don't want to see you make a dumb mistake." At this point, after a decade in the agency, they probably shouldn't be surprised to see a magic user.

Rika is intrigued. "If you don't mind... would you tell me more about this gift of yours?" She'd want to learn the details to see if she could use these powers to her advantage, but she'd be genuinely interested in MC as well. Does MC feel like a devil or outcast, or perhaps an angel who was blessed with such a wondrous ability? Rika has a tendency to overthink and overanalyze, so she'd probably question her worldview the more time she spends with MC. Is this a messenger of heaven sent to smite a false Savior? Is this an emissary of hell who will join and strengthen her cause? Or... is this the one who will save Rika?

Is overshadowed by a sigh...

MC stared up at the ceiling, her phone held limply in her grasp. The Mystic Messenger app blinked sporadically with the "Normal Route" logo. Her lips wobbled and she hadn't realized the sob that wobbled in her chest. 

Everything had felt so real. She knew without a shadow of a doubt that she had spent eleven days with the most amazing people that she would know in her lifetime.

She fell in love with the most amazing man she would know in her lifetime.

Her breath quivered and a small squeak came out with her exhale. 

Living and in the flesh, Jumin had been real—every word, every touch, every bit. Same for the others. So why was it now that she suddenly woke up from the dream? Now the real world heaved a sigh and existed all around her as it had before the game. She didn't think miracles were real, but being transported into the world of the game had been a blessing. It saved her and in turn she was able to save someone she loved.

Except now.

MC turned off her phone, unable to bear the sound of the upbeat music or the warm yellow glow of the videogame.

Little time had passed since she'd been brought in and out from the videogame world, less than eleven days (probably less than eleven hours even). No one had worried about her, no one cared. She bit her lip and forced herself to not think about the near-empty contacts list on her phone.

She was forced back into reality and she would live. As she always had.

The color that had been so suddenly and vibrantly splashed into her life was striped away with the harsh scent of acetone and paint remover. 

She walked to work. Her manager greeted her with a practice smile and gave her the laundering list for the day. MC nodded mutely, pulled on her apron and went to the back of the dry cleaning facility. The party recipients were gone, and the lavish ballroom the RFA held their party in also dissipated. Only the sound of chirring machinery and the rustle of clothes, either in bags or not, now existed. MC stared at the rows of slowly shifting suits on the conveyor racks and wondered how often Jumin took his suits to a dry-cleaner. She momentarily fancied the idea of him just purchasing a new suit everytime he dirtied and old one—and she giggled. It was the first time laughing since she came back home. But the immediate pang in her heart at the idea of Jumin's bemused grin and his narrowed grey eyes caused her to swallow back a cry. Because he totally would find her notion silly, before saying something like "I only have the finest launderers in all of Korea dry-clean my suits. And I do leave a mean tip, if I say so myself, darling."

MC hated this.

She found that the world existed in faded hues of blue and grey. The sky glimmered in a dull linen blue, brushing up against the greyed horizon while the sun faded from view. Walks were the only thing MC found she could stomach after long twelve hour shifts. She hadn't the heart to delete the Mystic Messenger game, but she couldn't look at the sprites or the characters knowing she'd interacted with them as real breathing people. So it was a little comfort, but the cool breeze and the nighttime air in the city made her feel closer to her RFA friends even though they weren't there.

City nights in general made her feel closer to Jumin.

MC wondered if in some other universe, or world, or timeline, Jumin lived...missing her the way she missed him. He was far too expressive to be a simple videogame character after all.

She wondered if she was just a game to them too, a little person all coded up nice and neatly for them to choose their preferred routes.

A park between her work place and her apartment sat quaintly in the city. It was safe and hardly used at this time of night. For the past few months since returning, MC had made it a habit to eat dinner here, enjoy the night, and pretend she could see the stars. Tonight was no different. Pulling her thermos from her backpack and a bottle of water, she found a comfy spot on a children's jungle gym and sat down to eat.

Cars honked and neon signs buzzed. People walked on the streets. People talked loudly. She could hear it all from her little spot, and it felt almost nostalgic. For all the secrecy, Rika's apartment had sat in a fairly occupied part of Seoul, and from the little one bedroom MC had always been able to hear the city life.

She could hear it too, from Jumin's penthouse.

Closing her eyes, she tried to picture her friends. 

Zen was probably at rehearsals now. He worked late into the night, practicing, doing his best for whatever upcoming role he may be participating in. Jaehee was probably still at work too—although MC had thoroughly chewed Jumin out for working his poor secretary too hard—since she'd been allowed a revision of her schedule, late nights turned into noontime sign-ins for work instead of the usual eight o'clock.

Yoosung and Seven probably weren't doing too differently. Yoosung was probably causing another bout of sleep deprivation by playing a LOLOL tournament. Seven was also probably sleep deprived, but from doing secret spy stuff rather than having fun. She hoped regardless, that they were doing well.

And Jumin?

"And Jumin," MC sighed, sinking her head onto her knees and squeezing her eyes shut.

A deep and familiar baritone followed. "And me?"

She'd done this frequently, in her return. Imagine him there next to her, hear his voice, feel the ghost of his touch.

A warm hand gently rested on the top of her head, slowly smoothing out her hair.

She wrapped her arms around her legs. "You're probably at home, staring out at those stupid French doors in the living room watching the nightlife live on. Elizabeth the Third is probably at your feet, being the cute thing that she is before going off and finding something shiny that catches her eye."

There's an answering chuckle and her breath shatters in her chest.

Please, she begged. This isn't funny, this is just cruel.

There's quiet and the presence of the hand on her head gone. MC knew she was alone again. She won't go home yet, she needed a minute to collect herself. 

But then there's a shuddering breath and the most gentle murmur. "And if I were to say I'm beside you again?"

MC reeled back so terribly that she fell off the jungle gym. A sharp yelp escaped her as she landed on her tailbone and stars circled in front of her eyes. Hurried footsteps and the panicked shout of her name met her ears—she stared in a daze as Jumin hurried and crouched before her, worrying over her.

She gazed dumbly.

"My love, are you hurt?" Jumin's voice is urgent, and he gently lifted her arms, her ankles, twisting her shoulders, checking for injuries.

MC stares and stares and stares until she's squinting.

To his credit, Jumin bears her scrutiny without flinching. Just that same urgent and worried look.

"You're here." She finally breathed.

Relief visibly washed over Jumin and he relaxed. His hand, it's warm—so, so warm—gently cupped her cheek and MC leaned into the touch without question.

Jumin's nose brushed against hers. "I'm sorry it took so long."

"That's what you're apologizing for?" MC whispered, not knowing if she was supposed to laugh or cry or both.

A velvety laugh rumbled in his chest and he rested his forehead against hers. "Darling, I can't apologize for you being clumsy."

MC choked, shaking her head. Her hands tenderly cupped his face, thumbs sweeping along his jaw. Jumin closed his eyes and pressed a little closer to her, his breath feathering along her cheek with every heave of his chest.

OH GOSH I LOVE THIS

I think at first he'd be a bit confused as to why you're watching a "kids" show, but he wouldn't say anything about it, he loves it when you start singing along to the songs or just burst into fits of giggles because of a joke.

One day he decided to accompany you watching TV in the living room, and he became a bit interested in the show. In the beginning he'd be saying things like "this wouldn't really be possible to build in one day" or "platypuses aren't turquoise" or "that's actually illegal" or "I don't think they have enough money to be funding all of this." But his comments would then turn into small gasps as he gets a bit more into it.

He honestly finds Dr. Doofenshmirtz the best, don't ask me why it's the first thing that came into mind. At first he found him annoying but grew to slowly love him. He likes how he never gives up and actually cares about those around him, like his daughter.

He will be a bit slow on the jokes, god bless his beautiful heart, but will smile whenever you start laughing.

He thinks the songs are catchy and he likes them. He also really likes Ferb, and says if he existed Jumin would immediately hire him to work at C&R.

After seeing all the Perry shenanigans he will be 98.9999999% sure that Elizabeth is also a secret agent, and he will get her a very fancy hat. He knows Elizabeth is a smart cat, and it could be possible. He acts like he doesn't know, however because he doesn't want her to be taken away by the organization.

One thing that made him laugh are the Doofenshmirtz backstories, in a very ironic kind of way, since both their parents weren't exactly the most attentive. "It all started on the day I was born. My parents didn't show up" (I'm quoting this out of memory forgive me if it's not correct ajdjdjd but I love it it's so freaking! Oh God it's just amazing)

He also really loves the jingles of Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated!!!! And will definetly want to get C&R one.

He constantly shits on Candace too, saying all the different ways she could have busted her brothers.

I feel like he'd have a favorite song, but right now I don't know which one. Maybe gitchi gitchi goo, it means I love you!

He likes the movies and bought the PS3 game for Phineas and Ferb across the 2d dimension (god I used to play that game all the time jesus) and will be a self proclaimed gamer now I guess lololol

In conclusion it'd be a Jumin approved show tbh, and could eventually be one he really likes. He thinks the jokes are great, he loves Agent P, and no matter how long the show ran for he felt it's spark never died out.

After watching Phineas and Ferb, he'd be pretty into watching Gravity Falls or maybe Adventure Time.

Gravity Falls would be his favorite, and tbh he wouldn't expect the whole twin brother thing in the end. He'd be able to guess the rest of the plot tho.

Gravity Falls is also his favorite because of all the spoopy paranormal stuff. He also gets into the codes at the end of the episodes and tries to decipher them, to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Fluffy Days ~ Jumin Han x Reader

Everyone, when they looked at Jumin, they saw him for his position as the Director and future CEO of one of the top 5 biggest, wealthiest companies in South Korea, so it was needless to say that, before thinking of how much he worked to perfect himself to be the best version of a professional director as he can, despite the title being given hereditary, people would still think of all the riches he was blessed with.

Many, like Zen and Yoosung, would envy him for having so much money and being able to do anything he could even dream of, including any weird fantasy like creating a wine line specifically for cats, or a cat brand...

And only he knows what else he thought of, but never tried to give form to.

However, very few ever looked at him for being a hard-working man, business-orientated, rational, logical and always putting the benefit of the company above all else.

But...

Was Jumin truly happy the way he was?

That question was answered one day, when a certain maiden called Y/N found a weird phone on the ground, and somehow found herself joining this charity organisation called RFA, and given her profession as a Vet, and having enough money for herself, and obviously not being a materialistic gold-digger...

Well, the brunet man of the RFA found himself completely entranced by this mysterious woman, who, in time, will end up being his girlfriend, and even more, his fiancee.

In due time, though, there is no rush.

The other important question that even fewer people ever ask themselves was...

Was Jumin never stressed out or over-worked?

And the answer goes pretty obvious that yes, he was, rather often, but he masks that and tries to cope with it by retorting to his childish self that has been long locked away, and yet, sometimes resurfaces when needed, so he does silly cat projects.

Now that he has a lover, however, he can allow himself to go on dates, that began rather fancy, but upon her protest, became more relaxed and casual, preferring peace and content to extravagance and luxuries.

They would go on a picnic in the forest nearby, take impulsive trips to what-ever place they felt like, sometimes throwing a dart on a world map on the wall and going wherever it lands, or going on shopping sprees for whatever self-care items they felt like, doing skin care routines together from time to time, cuddling together in the cinema room, eating commoner cinema snacks that he has to admit, aren’t too bad (although he won’t trade the ‘Melanin’ stake for popcorn).

There are, however, some days when he would just want to stay at home and cuddle with Y/N and Elizabeth the 3rd - Those days are definitely the most stressful and he needs to calm himself down before he bursts with weird emotions, which is something he prides himself to never do, and yet, he acknowledges the fact that it is not impossible, and he is still just a human, not a heartless robot as some claim he is.

As soon as he got home, Jumin sighed, going to his room, threw his blazer on the chair nearby, and folding up his sleeves, he let himself fall on his bed, looking at the ceiling with an exhausted and annoyed expression, before closing his eyes altogether, taking a few deep breaths to calm down.

Sighing at the deplorable state her beloved was in, she went to the bathroom and drew hot water, putting in some lavender bath salt, lighting up some incense sticks, some scented candles with lavender, vanilla and cinnamon, made the lights be dim, put bubble solution and waited until it was hot and steamy in the bath, as she searched for some calming Lo-Fi music, choosing some mountain sounds that had soft bird chirping and forest sounds included.

When everything was perfect, she threw in a Lush northern lights bathbomb, loving how great the purple and blue blended together, and went out, sitting on the side of the bed next to Jumin, gently brushing away the hair from his face and kissing his forehead.

“Come on, darling, I drew you a bath. Let’s help you relax a bit...Shall we?” she spoke in that soft voice that could always sooth his worries away.

He didn’t have the power to say much, but humming positively, he sluggishly followed Y/N to the bathroom, where his eyes widen and how aesthetically pleasing and relaxing the bathroom became.

It was almost like he never had any idea how relaxing a bath can be, and not as much of a ‘chore’ as he felt it was.

Y/N told him to take his clothes off already and get in the water before it gets cold, which seemed to make him chuckle in amusement, but did so without any protesting, and he found himself sighing at how good it felt having his sore, tense muscles tended by the hot water.

She pushed him gently down by the shoulders until he was up to his chin in water, then went to pour a glass of his favourite red wine for him to enjoy.

“Is this how you always take baths?” he asked in a lower voice. “Most of the time, yes. I make this ritual whenever I feel the need to properly relax, and it sort of became like a Pavlovian reflex, y’know?” she snorter in amusement, sitting on the ground next to the bathroom. “I see...Now I understand why you were always looking forward to them.” he nodded slightly in agreement. “I’m happy if it can help you as well. I haven’t seen you this stressed since the whole Sarah and Elizabeth the 3rd problem.” she gave him a sad smile, which made him look deep into her eyes with a pondering look. “I don’t appreciate too many unexpected things coming up all at once.” he nodded, leaning back once again. “What kind of music is this?” “Oh, this! It’s called Lo-Fi, and it’s mostly for relaxing. It has all sorts of genres and types, but this, in particular, is a mountain Lo-Fi. Do you like it? I know it’s different to the classical music you always had, but I thought maybe a little change wouldn’t hurt. I-I can change it back to Debussy and Vivaldi if you don’t like it!” she blinked, her eyes widening at the realisation that she messed up, but he could only chuckle at her cute reactions. “I don’t mind this. It’s pretty nice. Perhaps, as you said, a change in the usual routine wouldn’t hurt once in a while.” he gave her a soft smile, which left her weak to her knees. “Sweet. Let me pamper you up a bit, then.” she grinned, as she started applying a hydrating face mask, putting two big cucumber slices on his eyes. “Why...Are you doing all this for me, Y/N?” he asked, unsure of himself. “Why? Because you’re stressed out an you need to relax, obviously.” she spoke as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “Yes, I know, but...Why...?” he asked again, putting emphasis on the last world. “Ohh, I think I get what you mean. Because I love you, of course. I want to spoil you because you love me, and you care about me, and you make me happy, so of course, I want to do anything in my power to reciprocate and make sure you know how much I love you.” her words were so sweet and innocent that Jumin felt the burning need to throw away those stupid cucumber slices and look at her beautiful face, but decided against that impulse, so he won’t upset her and her thoroughly prepared routine.

After that, she took away the slices and gently washed away the cream-mask, in circular motions, as he massaged his face, and he truly felt in Heaven for the first time in ages.

If this wasn’t bliss, he had no idea what else could be.

And if that wasn’t enough, the shower gel she put on the sponge smelled like home-made chocolate, and as she gently rubbed his shoulders, arms and neck, he had to use all the self-restraint he had not to grab her arms and get her in the tub with him so he can hold her tightly to his chest and kiss her until he forgot to breathe altogether.

It lasted for at least an hour, but Jumin got a bit bored and restless of staying in the bathtub, and told the girl he’s done for now, she brought him his bath robe and told him to get in his sleeping wear while she cleans and organises stuff around the bathroom, as it was one of her little quirks, to have everything in order, which always amuses him since he does the exact same thing all the time, going as far as to scold Assistant Kang for not putting the folders on his desk at the exact millimeters specified.

As soon as she was ready, Y/N did a short night time skin care routine and went to her lover, cuddling with him and bringing out the laptop and putting on his favourite movie on the huge plasma TV that he only ever turned on thanks to her.

Jumin wasn’t even sure if he was paying attention to the movie, as he let Y/N hug his head to her chest, gently playing with his hair in a way that made him almost sleepy, yet very warm and content, his past stress and worries being long eradicated.

He remembered her saying that since she was very little, and even now, when she’s all grown up, she always loves crawling in her mum’s arms in bed and letting her play with her hair, as it was one of the few things that can combat her insomnia and help her sleep peacefully...

And now, she was doing it to him, and he felt more than honoured to be subject to such personal, intimate and comforting act of pampering.

That is the kind of privilege he would do anything to achieve, and it was happening to him, as the angel that his girlfriend is was always the one person who could somehow make him feel happy by merely existing.

Outside was a gorgeous night, and Jumin’s dormitory was illuminated by nothing more than the twinkling stars and the glorious silvery light of the moon that was looking over the two lovers holding each other under the covers of the master bed, while faint jazz music played in the background, as it was one of their little before-sleep rituals, still feeling the little euphoria from the movie they just watched.

“Jumin...I love you. And I’m really grateful for everything you’ve done for me. Never forget that, okay?” the h/c girl spoke in a gentle voice, as the man ran his fingers through her long locks, just as he would play with his cat’s fur, and she’d start purring. “I won’t forget, Y/N. I’m glad you were able to convince me to meet up with you, despite the circumstances, back then when we barely knew each other. No, actually, I am glad that you found that phone.” Jumin’s velvety voice spoke out, ringing in her ears. “Want to go out tomorrow? I have a free day tomorrow at the clinic. We can go have a walk through the forest or the park, if you want.” Y/N suggested, drawing shapes on the man’s chest absent-mindedly. “I don’t see why not. Elizabeth the 3rd is at V’s and I’ll have Assistant Kang erase everything from tomorrow’s schedule. I believe I had some meeting with another business with a group of women...Not something I’m too fond of.” he groaned slightly, making the girl chuckle and raise slowly, resting her form on her elbow. “What, you don’t want to throw around too many compliments and sickeningly sweet sugar-coated words in just one day?” she chuckled, a teasing smirk on her face. “The more I look at you, the more you remind me of a vixen. I don’t see any reason why I should carelessly throw around compliments to thirsty women who are only in it for my money and looks, when I could direct them all to that one person who holds my heart.” Jumin shot right back, making the girl dramatically put her hand over her heart, mimicking that she got shot by Cupid’s arrow. “Mon Dieu, my ears can’t believe what they’re hearing, are you sure you’re not trying to charm me again?” she leaned down to plant a soft kiss on his lips, as one of her hands gently brushed away the fringe from his face. “There is no end line to the path to someone’s affections. I believe that once you found the special someone, one should continue to show their appreciation towards said person.” his words soothed her heart like a nice glass of rose syrup as he snaked his hands around her waist and brought her back into an embrace, her head resting on his shoulder. “You always know how to make my heart beat like crazy.” she nuzzled her face in the crook of his neck, giggling softly, making the man shiver slightly. “Just like a fox.” he muttered, chuckling lightly.

In bora’s route, what happens to v and Jumin’s relationship? Could they even bounce back from something like that? Would they just agree to never see each other? Or would they try to talk it out?

And i always thought that jumin was really one of V’s closest and truest friend. That makes me sad to think about

It’s not pretty. No matter if Lila is there or not [Spoilers for my Assistant Route: Lila takes the bullet for V in that timeline.], V doesn’t wind up getting shot in the timeline that Bora exists in either way. He’s not injured but his friendship with all of the RFA is strained. This is more akin to what happens in Saeran’s AE, as the truth is told. The RFA works together during this incident. 

Unknown tries to take Bora at the party. Seven stops it. His secret that he’s been hiding from everyone is revealed. Vanderwood takes his brother instead of him during that commotion. Seven and the RFA team together to rescue his brother and take down the agency. 

They manage to get the slip on the agency, too. They do save Unknown but he manages to get in touch with Mint Eye. It dissolves from there. This time, Jumin and the others have a way to track Seven. They’re already on their way. Just before things start to collapse, C&R is there and stops everything horrible from happening. 

V has no excuse for being there and comes clean. Everyone is upset with him, and it’s incredibly strained. He put them at risk because he was trying to do this on his own. He put Bora at risk and Jumin... is incredibly upset about that, cause Jihyun is supposed to understand how important Bora means to him now. And, he does. 

Jihyun knows. 

He feels horrible. 

But, he and Jumin are going to have a long way to go if it’s ever mended. It’s horribly strained between the two of them. A lot of the RFA is conflicted about it as well. Jihyun needs to help himself and he does leave to try and learn how to be himself again in this ending. He does interact with Jumin now and again because bless Jumin Han, he is a man who puts up with a lot.

They’re talking. It’s strained. It’s not okay, but they’re trying. Nobody brings it up in front of Jumin. That’s kind of why I said that when Eun comes into the picture with Jumin, he has... strained feelings about Jihyun because Jumin has slowly revealed his dread over those thoughts and unease. He knows that V meant a lot to him, but what happened upset him deeply.

* Let’s be honest here, this ray of sunshine is just one big ol’ clumsy mess

* So it’s not surprising that the first time he met MC he just. Fell over with the first step he took their way.

* He stays there, on the floor for a long moment, blinking slow before he realised the predicament he was in, immediatly rushing to stand up, only to get dizzy as he did and stumble yet again, his weight falling onto a softer surface this time....

* ....and straight onto MC’s chest. 

* Yoosung.exe has stopped responding

* His cheeks turn a brilliant shade of red as he stumbles over his words for an apology, his eyes looking anywhere but MC’s face as he takes slow steps backward, a dozen excuses on his lips.

* Lucky for him, MC merely finds his clumsiness endearing (If they kiss him when he gets flustered like that it’ll be an instant K.O, 100% guaranteed)

* Just a big flustered mess really, and MC just lives for it

ZEN:

* Yes, yes, he’s Zen, musical actor prodigy, he’s a ladies man, so suave e.t.c e.t.c...

* Until it comes to the person he likes. Oh boy, he is a m e s s when he sees MC’s face, when they walk by him, when they simply exist in his vicinity really.

* He’d met MC for a cup of coffee, and when they asked him how his new play is coming along, he couldn’t help himself but excitedly start talking about it, his hands moving animatedly as he spoke with a fiery passion...

* ....only those very hands managed to swat MC’s cup of coffee and throw it flying off the table, straight to MC’s legs

* He’s flabbergasted for a moment, before immediatly shooting up from his hair and rushing to MC, checking them up and down for any injuries, apologising profusely.

* He’s on his knees in front of them, grabbing a dozen tissues to put onto their now coffee-stained pants, before he realises the...predicament he put himself in.

* Slowly he looks up from his kneeled position and straight to MC’s reddened face, his own pale skin now resembling a tomato

* (10/10 his hair would do that Ghibli fluffy thing from the shock)

* He scoots away immediatly, apologising with a soft stutter, trying to control the BeastTM from coming out-this was barely their first date, he couldn’t scare MC off now, not yet-

* Lost in his own worried thoughts, he didn’t hear MC’s soft giggle at first. By the time he did, they were already trying their best to conceal their giggle behind their palms.

* “You’re so cute Zen”, MC says after a moment, “I’m glad I got to see this side of you”.

* He’s Shocked for a long moment, before he finds his inner suaviness yet again.

* “Oh, you haven’t seen nothing yet my love” he says and well, now it’s MC’s turn to become a reddened tomato.

JUMIN:

* This man is nearly impossible to fluster

* He’s always straightforward and confident with what he says, his whole being exuding a sort of confidence only a man in his position could ever have.

* And yet, Jumin Han is in fact human, and even he has his embarassing moments.

* One such moment being when, in those few days he lived with MC before the party, he decided to take a shower...

*...only he forgot to inform MC that the bathroom would be occupied.

* Chaos ensues as MC nonchalantly opens the bathroom door (you can thank the penthouse’s soundproof walls for the fact that they didn’t hear the water running), and lo and behold, they are met with one wide-eyed, very, very naked Jumin, his hands paused midway through lathering shampoo on his hair.

* MC blinks once, twice before screaming an apology, immediatly shutting the door as they rushed away form the bathroom probably to go hide their face into the couch and scream bc hOLY MOLY-

* Jumin was quick to exit the bathroom, now (thankfully?) clothed, his hair still dripping water onto the towel wrapped around his shoulders as he quietly walked besides MC, flopping quite ungracefully onto the couch.

* His hands were interlocked, resting between his legs as he looked down to them unstaringly.

* MC was quite...scared at first. Was he mad? Was he scared of MC, the mega-privacy-intruding-perv?? Why was he saying nothing? Why wouldn’t he just loo at MC?!

* “Um-” he started eventually and-was that a blush spreading from the nape of his neck all the way to his ears??

* “I’m-I should’ve mentioned I was in the shower my- my apologies.”

* My Lord and the Heavens Above, Jumin was FLUSTERED. MC had no words, they simply kept looking on to him, the way he fumbled with his fingers, a nervous tick or so it seemed, his mouth set into an almost-pout.

* “It’s alright-it was a sight I could get used to” MC eventually shrugs, making Jumin even more horribly flustered

JAEHEE:

* At a glance, Jaehee seems like a perfect, composed and serious buisnesswoman, exuding a quiet confidence not very unlike Jumin’s, except for its subtleness, the way she holds herself poised and graceful, yet practiced. Oh, so practiced.

* She’s the epitomy of that ‘I’m internally screaming’ meme, really. She might seem cool and composed on the outside, but the slightest thing can make her brain hay-wire, a dozen screaming voices yelling in embarassement inside her mind.

* So when she finally meets MC, when she starts working in the cafe with her, having to work side-by-side with her crush on the daily and not make a fool of herself? Ohhhhh boy, Baehee’s got her work cut out for her

* That blessed embarassing moment comes way faster than one would think-on the opening day of the cafe, actually.

* She’s brewing coffee, lost in thought as she took in the aroma of the freshly ground coffee beans, a steaming jug of milk beside her as she gently rested her hand on the brewing cup’s handle, when MC approached her from behind.

* Not one used to physical affection, the moment MC leaned close and rested their head on Jaehee’s shoulder, asking her how the coffee was coming along, she was instantly snapped out of her daydream.

* The proximity, the scent of MC invading her senses, the feel of the one she loves leaning their body against hers-Jaehee’s consciousness SNAPPED.

* She immediatly jolted, her hand flying from the brewing coffee, her plam accidentantly slamming straight onto MC’s face in her flabber-gasted shock.

* The soft ‘ouch’ from MC as they rubbed their reddened nose made her eyes widen, her lips tremble-oh no oh shit, did she do that?! Oh no, MC will think she’s such a goof, they’ll regret ever starting this project with her, they’ll-

* “Wow Jaehee, you sure throw a mean punch” MC giggled, their pain long forgotten at Jaehee’s flustered expression. 

* “You-I’m-sorry! I don’t- you were so close and you look so pretty and-”

* Baehee error 404; did she just say that? Did she just-

* She immediatly turned away, hiding the furious blush spreading on her face, bringing her hands to cover her mouth in shock.

* “Awe, you look even prettier though” MC shrugged, and just like that-Jaehee slowly turned around, a spark of hope in her eyes, a trembling smile on her lips.

* She didn’t have time to answer-not when MC already snaked their arms around her waist again, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek before moving on to finish the coffee Jaehee started.

* (Yes she would think of that kiss for the whole day and scream into her hands when alone in the storage room)

SAEYOUNG/SEVEN:

* This boy loves to pull pranks, and generally is...pretty darn shameless 

* That, however, doesn’t mean he can’t be flustered with enough effort.

* He’d been on another Dr. Pepper and Honey Buddha Chips binge, pulling yet another all-nighter when MC walked into his office, a frown on their lips.

* “Saeyoung! I told you a dozen times to stop eating so much of those chips and soda. It’s bad enough for your health that you’re staying up so late, but eating junk food like that you’ll also ruin your stomach!” MC chided him, their hands on their hips.

* On the one hand, Saeyoung wanted to roll his eyes, tell MC he’s fine, he’s been on this shitty diet way before MC and hey, he’s still alive! On the other hand though, he knew MC is only saying this out of love and care for him, and well, having someone to look out for him like that felt great.

* MC approached him, ready to grab the half-empty chips bag from the table, only when they leaned close to grab the bag...

* ...Seven opened his mouth to speak....except a loud burp came out instead, straight beside MC’s ear.

* They both remained silent for a moment, unblinking before Seven realised what he’d done, his mouth agape in shock.

* He blinked once, twice, staring at MC’s face for a reaction, for any reaction oh my god he was so embarased-

* MC turned to him with an even bigger frown, grabbing the bag of chips and dangling it in front of Seven’s face.

* “No. More. Chips.* they emphasised, and Seven could do little else but gulp and nod, too afraid to open his mouth again in case another unholy burp like that escaped his insides.

* He ran a hand through his hair, trying to play off the reddening of his cheeks, the silly smile that nervously found it’s way on his face.

* Before MC could leave the room, he leaned back on his chair and called out;

* “Hey MC-does this mean we just took our relationship to the next level?”

JIHYUN/V:

* This marshmallow of a man is so gentle and soft-spoken, it’s actually quite difficult to imagine him embarassed

* And yet, he’s the easiest to fluster out of anyone in the RFA!

* Even a simple compliment can make this spicy mint boy’s cheeks flare up, a silly little smile finding its way to his lips as he nervously bites them, a tell-tale sign of his flusterdness.

* Once, before he got the surgery for his eyesight, he walked to the sofa MC was sitting at, aiming to sit besides them-

* -Only he didn’t notice that MC was in fact laying down on the couch, not sitting on it, effectively throwing his entire weight onto MC’s thighs.

* He only realised what he’d done after patting MC’s legs with his hands, hearing the soft ‘oof’ MC let out as he sat. 

* He immediatly shot up, waving his hands in the air as he furiously apologised, leaning down to find MC’s face and hold it in his hands, asking them if he hurt them, if they were okay-

* “Damn V, if you wanted to sit on my lap all you had to do was ask” MC says with a wiggle of the eyebrows (joke’s on you MC, minty boyo can’t see s h i t rn), and well, it took everything in V’s willpower to not faint into a tomato-coloured puddle onto the floor at that.

He wanted to prepare something just as good, but he didn’t know that you never actually celebrated your birthday.

Not even once.

And so, when you got up and stepped down in your living room and saw a cake with candles, you were shocked.

The RFA and Jumin‘s dad waited around the table.

Everyone had streamers in their hand and screamed ,,HAPPY BIRTHDAY!“ as soon as they saw you.

Just like you made his birthday special, he wanted to make your day as comfortable for you as possible.

And so, a funny birthday was planned by Yoosung that gave you the chance to enjoy your own day.

,,Huu…“ Jaehee laughed and entered the kitchen where you were preparing a few more cakes.

,,A lot of people are buying birthday cakes today. I didn’t know that so many people had birthdays today!“ she laughed and observed your face.

She came closer.

Ever since she was with you, she was much more relaxed than in the past.

,,When’s your birthday…?“ she asked you in a sweet voice.

You looked at her and smirked. This would surely be a mistake…

,,Today,“ you confessed and looked into her shocked eyes.

But, the reaction you waited for was totally different from how she really reacted.

(1/2) I think the reason why Seven is love blindly by the fandom is 1- Reset theory and 2- Suferring. On case number one I have to say that every single character breaks the fourth wall somehow, which means that reset theory could be applied to everyone. In fact, if you take the previous games in consideration Seven is probably the bad guy. (Even though I don't think Dandelion or Nameless have a relation to mysme anymore, Another story crushed my theories hahahaha).

(2/2) On case 2, I have to say: Everyone who measure another suffering is an ass. Yes, Seven was abused by his parents. He has a dark past as a hacker. But his suffering doesn't make the pain of others invalid or non-existent. It annoys to see people saying that "Zen's problem is just being too beautiful, Jumin problem is just being too rich", and then saying how Seven has a bad past. His bad past don't  make him a perfect human being. He still have flaws and sometimes they should be acknowledge

1 - of course, Reset Theory is bad and people who honestly believe it’s in any way canon should feel bad. As you said, everyone breaks the fourth wall here and there. 7′s particular trope and humor benefits most from making fourth wall breaking jokes, but even he doesn’t joke about the reset theory concept, because it honestly doesn’t make sense. Games with canon reset theories are written accordingly. Mysme isn’t.

1.b - It’s a shame things like ‘Seven as the bad guy’ aren’t explored by the fandom. Since there’s a clear villain already no one bothers, but it can be fun to play around anyway.

2 - Like you said, everyone has suffering in their past in Mysme, and it’s pretty ridiculously unfair to only respect 707′s. Zen’s mother rejected him when he was young specifically because he was unusually beautiful. In the end he was forced to run away from his parents to pursue his dream of being an actor, and in return they disowned him to the point where even after his good end he still hasn’t repaired his relationship and can’t get his family’s blessing to marry his girlfriend. Jumin has been used and abused by everyone to the point where he thinks a neglectful and unbalanced relationship with his father is healthy and good, and Yoosung is suicidally depressed over Rika. Only looking at 707 because he arguably handles his suffering worst is a disservice to everyone else.

2.b - If we wanna reduce character suffering to ‘cursed with awesome’, 707 is a literal secret agent hacker man. Sure he has a tragic family backstory,  but now he’s basically a nerdier James Bond.

2.c - I’m pretty tempted to do a list of 707′s flaws and bad behavior that exist outside his route, honestly, It often seems like people only acknowledge that he’s a jerk on his route when he goes full “I’m a super jerk to push you away and you must be patient and push through’‘, but he’s honestly pretty terrible to all of his friends. Especially to Yoosung and Jumin.

In fairness, I think part of the “707 is perfect and my perfect match” stuff comes from him being an lololepic memer randomdude type (when he’s wearing his fake happy mask) and that makes him #relatable - I don’t know if anyone’s done statistics on it, but it wouldn’t surprise me to find that 707′s fanbase skews younger (I know there’s tweens who play the game despite its....risque scenes) and that’s why they connect with the concept of chatspamming and saying obnoxious memes in an attempt to be obscure.

....Actually, I wonder just what the age ranges skew toward for preferred routes, and what the routemate/content indicates about a player’s preferred fantasies.

-its a semi drunken night when you tell him, you’d finally gotten Jumin to loosen up after a long workday, and were now on the couch together, Jumin’s head on your chest as you ran your fingers through his hair lazily, letting the alcohol dull your mind as you listen to him rambling about his childhood

-it must have been an offhand comment you made that sparked his attention, making him rise from the comforts of your lap as he stares at you incredulously. you sheepishly tell him your story, and although he’s sensitive with you as to not upset you, he’s horrified to learn that you were constantly neglected in your childhood, growing up without a place you could actually consider a home

-he listens to you, quietly concerned as the alcohol hits him hard, and the next thing he knows he’s passed out on your shoulder.

-when he wakes up he has only a faint recollection of you telling him of your past, but he doesn't bring it up; partially because of a raging headache and partially because he didn't want to upset you, you looking so at peace reading something on your phone, a loving smile forming on your lips as you sense him watching you

-he’s not one to go in full steam ahead (well- he is, but he reAlly wants to be subtle with this) but he tries his best to make living together feel as homey as possible

-he talks to Yoosung, the Professional at all things Family, and realizes that he should tone down the money spending to ensure your comfort and instead use that time to do things together, bond over small dumb things. 

-knows that as much as he would want to go back in time and fix your childhood, give you the love you deserved, find you a home, the past cannot be changed. so instead he opts on building the sense of family between the two of you

-he takes you to ikea (Saeyoungs idea), and the two of you find new furniture, something that fits your tastes as well, to redecorate the penthouse. 

-imagine jumin trying to assemble ikea furniture 

-he gets frustrated with having to do things like a commoner, but bless him he’s trying his best to do it for you, and the way your face lights up whenever the two of you do something “domestic” or “familial” makes it all worth it. it’s a learning curve for him too, and despite his protests he cant help but admit that he was missing a lot from his childhood too but it brings him peace knowing he’ll soon be building a family with you ;^)

-he’s not willing to get rid of the giant aquarium pillars, however he lets you get them some cool aquarium furnishings and plants

-goes grocery shopping with you more often, and overall spends more time with you, even telling chef to take the weekends off from now on, opting to cook together instead, and even though most of the time things end up burnt or tasting weird, all that matters is that the two of you have fun

-everyone thinks he’s lost his mind, including for the RFA, who's in the corner crying because “What happened to our cold emotionless Jumin Why Is He SO Domestic”

-teaches you to waltz 

-the day you make an offhand comment about how you consider him your family, he stops and starts tearing up, pulling you into a tight hug as you confusedly kiss his cheek, only slightly worried about him

Jaehee

-it was one of the first things the two of you really talked about, a kind of bond forming over past trauma and losing a part of your childhood. 

-she’s a very action forward woman, knows that she can’t change the past, but she sure as hell can help you heal from it. 

-she takes you to show you all her favourite sweets from her childhood, and takes you to spots she loved sitting in as a kid, trying to share these experiences with you

-she challenges you to a race to see who can climb to the top of a tree the fastest, and it’s one of the few times you see her truly free, giggling as she watches you struggle up the branches, meeting you with a kiss when you finally reach the top, and with her it feels like nothing else in the world matters, that in that moment the only ones that exist are her and the sunset, making her smile shine, casting an ethereal glow on her face as she caresses your cheek lovingly.

-tries to take more breaks to spend more time with you, building more memories in places that most people deem “kiddie places”

-yes im saying she takes you to SkyZone and/or a ball-pit

-she gets lost in the ball-pit, slowly sinking lower and lower as you have to dramatically rescue her

-diner dates, sharing a milkshake and relaxing together after a long day of work, and although none of it can bring back the past, her devotion to giving you fu childhood related memories lessens the pain, and the memories that you build with her of course will always last forever 

Yoosung

-he’s always so excited about meeting your family, about joining two families and building a new one- with this boy its always about family, so how the hell do you bring up that you dont actually have one?

-when you do finally tell him, he stops in his tracks, trying to process how that could be

-he’s a good listener, bless him, and he listens to your story, how you were mostly in and out of orphanages and foster families and grew up a child of the System. 

-at first he doesn’t know what to do with the information, and feels the deep pangs in his chest when he realizes that you missed out on so many things growing up, things that he took for granted

-you already view him as family, (frankly its hard not too, his general attitude towards you, the constant loving gazes, the way the two of you were always there for each other, mixed with the annoying comments of the RFA on how the two of you are “so married” making it hard not to), but he still sets out to make you feel like his family is yours

-this means he introduces you to his family.

-he knows how nervous you are the day before, and calls ahead without you knowing and tells his family to take it easy and not overwhelm you

-however they still do- overwhelm you with love i mean

-his grandma is immediately sizing you up and telling you to eat more, asking what size sweaters you wear and his dad is making silly jokes at your expense, yoosung holding your hand as him and his dad go back and forth one teasing,  one protecting you. his mum is smiling, holding a wooden spoon as she steps out of the kitchen, calling yoosung to help her with the cooking

-his sisters dote on you, introducing you to their husbands as their children run around in the background screaming in happiness, yelling at you to join them in playing tag, and their gleeful laughs draw you in. stopped by yoosung as you run into him, almost making him drop the mashed potatoes, and the look on your face is priceless, making the whole day worth it

-you get along with his oldest sister spectacularly, and you have your time to joke about yoosung as you ask his grandma for embarrassing stories of yoosung. (you enjoy watching his get increasingly flustered as he tries to hide in the crook of your neck)

-you and his parents have a long chat, ending in them hugging you and telling you just how much they appreciate you and the way you’ve made his son grow. the two of you seem so happy together, perfect even.

-it’s almost one in the morning when the two of you start heading home. as the two of you walk to your car, he colds you close to his side, placing small kisses on your cheek as he watches you smile softly.

- “mc i know, i know that you,, may not have had a family growing up but know that,, know that you always have a family in us, you’re a part of my family now, and you’ll always have us. we’re not going anywhere.”

-he’s a good listener, and listening to you talk about growing up poor and alone breaks his heart

-he can empathize, he had to grow up too fast, but he can’t even begin to imagine what you had to go through

Even though he understand that it’s something you’re passionate about he still makes a whole show about whining how you’re in love with Levi Ackerman (lmao i still thirst over our favorite captain) instead of him

Doesn’t really know you’re into anime/gaming at first

I don’t think that’s on purpose - Atsumu just has such a one track mind when it comes to volleyball and he’s always busy with practice

so he just kinda doesn’t really give all the anime merch in your room a second glance even though it’s a dead giveaway

I bet Atsumu secretly watches some superhero anime - probably shounen stuff like My Hero Academia, one punch man etc. 

He probably starts to notice you’re into anime/games because you’ll play games on your phone/gaming device all the time 

One day he notices you’re giggling + blushing while looking at your screen. He’s curious to he heads over to you when coach says they can have a break

Last time he chose the series for your binge sleepover so he let you choose what the two of you were gonna watch this time 

Turns out you decided to watch Psycho-Pass - it seemed like a pretty cool show, he was down with the whole dystopia/psychological concept

Starts out pretty normal, is appreciating the action + mystery elements and is glad that you chose that show 

About halfway through the anime you two decide to take a break - he goes to the kitchen to refill your snacks, leaving to stretch you back.

When he comes back with more food, he notices that you’re hunched over your phone, typing something

Now that he’s released the floodgate, he can’t stop your occasional comments like “omg how does he look so GOOD when he’s punching someone” or “he could shoot me with his dominator and i’d still say thank you” 

The thirst comments are kinda getting to him, so he decides to take things in a different direction

I do enjoy that Yoosung is a very emotional character, even if sometimes in the stories I don’t agree with him. He’s always very open & honest with how he feels, even if taken to extremes.

Sooo... the ending has just been a mock of how a Rika route would have gone if she had one?

Wait this was all just MC’s dream?! Rika’s dream?

& now Rika is in a coma?!? What? What???!! I’m... tired.

You know what, at least Saeyoung & Saeran are back together. Silver lining. The only silver lining to this madness.

Yoosung got a whole new look again. I’ll admit, for a hot second I thought he had become a cult leader & I was worried.

Sooo... the RFA became some sort of support group for Rika’s victims?????

Jumin doesn’t want to be a part of the meetings because he doesn’t particularly subscribe to their efficiency. Zen just doesn’t want to be involved because he doesn’t want the reminder. Jihyun basically just didn’t show up. So is this to mean the RFA has fallen apart entirely? Rename the group, change your ideals, be more open with each other, & formulate new ways to create charity events/fundraisers. Find a new purpose together! PULL. YOURSELVES. TOGETHER.

Ugh. Ugggghhhhhhh.

So, I’ve sat on this for a little under 24 hours. I let it sink in, in hopes that I could make better sense of it. But honestly, I don’t feel like I have. I feel perhaps this after end should have been listed in a separate section like the secret endings. These episodes certainly read more like a secret ending.

Rather than call this “V’s After End” I think it would make more sense to have called this “V’s Route After End” (or even “Rika’s After End”). This ending felt more like a means of giving closure to the route itself, rather than an acknowledgement of Jihyun’s relationship with MC. We were shown Saeran was alive, we were given Saeyoung & Saeran reunited with one another finally, we got answers as to what happened with Rika & how she ended up in Alaska, we found out why Jihyun was really away for two years, we had Saeyoung & Saeran stepping out from the hunting shadow of their father. Questions were answered, resolutions of sorts were given.

When I think of “after end” I’ll admit, I assumed we would be given a short snippet of story revolving primarily around Jihyun & MC post-good end, like we had for the other characters; not this dramatic saga between the end of the route & before Jihyun returns two years later. 

Jihyun’s route revolved around him understanding his relationship with Rika & then distancing himself from that & trying to find himself. His route felt like it had more Jihyun x Rika content than it did Jihyun x MC content. This After End there was hardly any Jihyun x MC content as he was gone essentially the entire time. He really Noped Out of his own After End; I’m still a bit shocked I paid so many hourglasses for V content.... only to not be given V content. I admit, I feel foolish & cheated, somehow. I went in hoping for more content about a character I was interested in, only to be given this dramatic story revolving around a character I don’t particularly care for.

I’m disappointed that there is a Forgive or Judge aspect to this ending. 

In the Forgive path/end, the blame of Rika’s crimes & actions is pinned on Rika’s mental illness, choice individuals swaying her into taking particular actions ( “embrace your devil” ), and various circumstances she’s had to endure & live through. By introducing this new character (Mika?), are we meant to blame her instead of Rika? Is she a scapegoat since the idea was originally hers & not Rika’s, even though Rika was the one that enacted everything? On top of this, Yoosung is shown to be reading a psychology book & also comes to the conclusion that what Rika has done isn’t really her fault, but the fault of her circumstances. All of this feels like we were being ushered into forgiving Rika and feeling guilty if we don’t. Provided you do choose to forgive Rika, she finds her own inner happiness, becomes “her own sun”, and goes off to live her life in Alaska; no consequences aside from distance (physical & emotionally) from her once friends/family & developing a negative public appeal. This forgive path directly ties in with Jihyun’s good end, implying it’s the better (intended?) ending. That doesn’t sit well with me. MC shouldn’t have to forgive their captor & tormentor in order to achieve their own “good” end. 

In the Judge path/end, the other characters often show hesitancy when MC expresses she will never be able to forgive Rika. There are philosophical chats about what is actually good vs bad, what is just, & who is to decide these sort of standards. We are led to question if holding on to a grudge hurts ourselves or the other party more. And in the end, when we choose to judge Rika, the RFA falls apart; everyone is miserable. Again, the reader is left feeling as if their judgement was too harsh, too cruel, or uncalled for as the consequences of it have seeped out & negatively touched other people. Rika falls into a coma – doesn’t go off to live her life in Alaska, doesn’t find her own inner peace – & this is all because she was blamed or shunned for her actions, as opposed to being forgiven. Why does everyone’s happiness depend on MC forgiving her captor?  It all left a sour taste in my mouth.

I understand the discussion of what is truly good vs bad or what is meant to be just & unjust can go fairly deep, but I feel that discussion applies only to circumstances that are in a grey area. What Rika did (attempted murder, abuse, emotional & physical manipulation, drugging/brainwashing) is clear cut wrong. There is no question that these are bad decisions. It should not be up for debate whether these sorts of actions are “good or bad.” While I do not deny that Rika’s past (whatever it fully may be as I have not read her backstory DLC) has attributed to her behaviors, it does not excuse them. I believe that mental illness does not excuse someone’s actions.

These are two very extreme endings - either Rika gets off free from her actions or she becomes comatose & succumbs to a darkness. Why have these drastic differences when you can merge the two; have Rika go through treatment to help her, serve a punishment that is fitting of her crimes, help her grow & understand, then have forgiveness come later? There were several options within gameplay along the lines of “I hope one day I can forgive her” & “I hope she finds her peace.” I see nothing wrong with not having MC forgive Rika but still wish for progress to be made.

Everyone was happier in the end where you forgave Rika, though. And isn’t that what everyone wanted in the end?

Overall, I didn’t mind Yoosung & Zen portraying the voices that provide the philosophical discussions in the routes and this After End. In fact, I enjoyed the chats with them as I tend to find philosophical discussions thought provoking, even if I do not always agree with what these characters were expressing. While MM is marketed as a visual novel romance, it has never shied away from delving into deeper topics & oftentimes tries to provide a lesson. Perhaps this time, the lesson they hoped to get across, didn’t hit the mark with me.

Yoosung’s emotions were very extreme in this After End. I have come to expect Yoosung being very up front, unapologetic, & pushy with his feelings. In a game where so many characters are often keeping secrets, it’s almost refreshing to have a character that is so viscerally open. Personally, I found it interesting that Yoosung’s feeling towards Rika had flipped so drastically. It was almost as if he was now trying to overcompensate for his previous idolization of her. 

I’m still of the opinion that the world does not deserve Jumin Han. Through his own pain & suffering, through dealing with the disappearance of his dearest friend, through having to come to terms with the fact that a woman he once considered a close friend turned out to be someone so villainous, he has stepped up & even at one point risked his own company, reputation, & livelihood to protect someone he now considered family. He used his time & resources to help as much as he could. He sat & genuinely listened to Saeyoung & calmly gave input despite Saeyoung verbally lashing out at him. I’ll admit I hated that Jumin seemingly became an alcoholic, or at least heavily dependent on wine, during the stretch of time these After Ends covered. He was suffering, but because he needed to keep his shit together, he used liquor as his means of turning off his brain so he wouldn’t think too heavily about what was happening, otherwise he’d spiral. You can bet your ass that every time there was an option to choose “How is Jumin doing?” I took it, because this man needs someone to look out for him while he’s busy looking after everyone else. I love him. He remains my favorite. 

I am thrilled Saeran is alive. I am ecstatic Saeyoung & Saeran got the reunion I had been hoping for (& in both endings!). The doctor part of me really wishes his treatment & recovery occurred in a hospital, instead of some nature tour with Jihyun while wearing Jedi robes, but beggars can’t be choosers in fiction, I suppose. I am glad Saeran is safe, recovering, had the time to heal his relationship with Jihyun, & is living with Saeyoung now. It’s what I wanted for him.

On one hand, I can see why Jihyun kept Saeran being alive a secret (Saeran wasn’t ready to see Saeyoung yet, he was detoxing, he needed more recovery time, he needed the peace away from everything, if Saeyoung knew he would have gone after them immediately rather than wait for some time to pass) but on the other hand, I had had enough of the secrets. I am glad though that the story allowed for Saeyoung to have some hope that Saeran was alive. If the narrative had left no suggestion of hope & Saeyoung had fallen into a depression of sorts, then I feel when Saeran was finally revealed he [Saeyoung] may have not handled it as well. But Saeyoung was given a chance to hope, to grow, to finally relax/settle where he was, & was allowed time himself to recover from everything that happened, which I think helped in how he received Saeran’s reappearance.

Definitive proof that Vanderwood has grown to care about Saeyoung as a person?! Sign me the fuck up. That was amazing. I greatly enjoy Vanderwood.

With Saeyoung, I did enjoy seeing his range of emotion & reactions to this entire ordeal. He was desvasted, broken, distraught, angry. My heart went out to him & I felt his pain. His monologues were great. His reactions felt real. It was a bit jarring to see how readily he was contemplating suicide & how quickly he cast that aside as soon as some other bit of info to cling to came along. I understand, though, that this story took place in a short amount of time & the creators were trying to portray his progression in the time they had. I am tickled that he was offered a 10 year contract with C&R & that he readily accepted. I have enjoyed seeing him begin to accept that he can plant roots somewhere, open up to those around him, & not fear that he’ll one day have to leave.

I was originally miffed that Jihyun went off for two years on his own, seemingly to get over Rika, making MC wait around, before he could commit himself to MC. Knowing now that those two years were actually spent helping to rehabilitate Saeran in seclusion, I am assuaged. A bit.

I am, however, left feeling as though maybe MC isn’t meant to be with Jihyun. I’ve certainly felt as if there is more push to have Jihyun x Rika remain together as Cheritz still doesn’t give, what I would consider, adequate bonding & development between Jihyun x MC (not that 11 days of story in any of the routes could be described as adequate bonding time, lolol). Majority of Jihyun’s scenes (in his route) are about him reminiscing about his past with Rika, rather than discussions that may cultivation a budding relationship with MC. I like Jihyun, but it feels likes it’s been made intentionally hard to romance him. Maybe it was naive of me to hope we would get cute scenes of Jihyun & MC getting to know one another more, or be shown ways Jihyun made it up to MC for being gone for so long, or even a mini date story, or actually seeing the proposal happen, or even a kiss? But I did hope for all of that, so I can’t pretend I’m not sad we didn’t getting to see it. The romance between Jihyun & MC feels brushed aside, like an afterthought, & I was hoping that this After End would finally put it at the forefront of the story told.

While I don’t like how the situation with Rika was handled in either route, & while this After End was not at all what I was expecting (I just wanted to kiss Jihyun, omg), it wasn’t a total loss for me since the twins are reunited & happy, which I think may have been my biggest wish. The voice acting as phenomenal & I can tell how much time & effort Cheritz put into creating this mammoth, complex & thought-provoking story. I’ll be honest & admit that I am upset I spent so many hourglasses for content that seemed packaged as Jihyun content but turned out to be more about Rika, but nothing can be done about that now. 

If I had to pick an ending I preferred, it would definitely be the Forgive End, as there is more happiness for everyone I care about when it concludes. It was nice seeing Jihyun & MC have their little family, even if it was a very brief interaction. Their adoption of a little girl feels like a nod to Rika, of sorts. Perhaps that isn’t what Cheritz intended, & maybe there is no hidden meaning to why they adopted at all, but I am happy to see Jihyun & MC having brought a child into their home to create a family with.

The CGs are beautiful. Is there even a way to unlock the title page Jihyun proposal CG? I didn’t get it in my play-through at all. 

I didn’t hate this After End, but I definitely didn’t love it either. I guess it kind of falls in a strange floaty grey middle area for me, somewhat flat. Hopefully many of y’all enjoyed it! I look forward to seeing what they may give us for Saeran’s After End. I have a feeling that may be a wild story too.

Hyun Ryu // Zen : MC with the power to see the future/precognition

The moment you hear about Zen’s prophetic dreams, you decide to tell him you’re not unfamiliar with the supernatural, either. Especially when it comes to seeing the future, as it is something you’ve learned to do at will, just by focusing on a person’s energy.

The problem is, when it comes to his own supernatural gifts, undeveloped, but still powerful, he’s not quite convinced yet that his is a supernatural gift and not a spoopy coincidence.

Despite this, he’s quick to embrace this part of you.

Not just that. By accepting your extraordinary side, he starts accepting his as well. The prophetic dreams become something he’s proud of, a gift and a responsibility he’s more than willing to take. It’s always better when there’s someone out there who truly understands you and Zen’s incredibly grateful this someone for him is you.

Loves the fact that you both have pretty similar supernatural powers. In his mind, this is yet another proof that you two were meant to be together.

Jumin : MC with telekinesis

If there’s anything that fascinates Jumin more than Elizabeth’s kitty antics and the cute faces you make without realizing it, it’s the supernatural.

So once you gather the courage to tell him you’ve been blessed with an extraordinary gift, he’s beside himself with pure excitement.

If you thought he loved just watching you go around and do your everyday chores, wait until the moment he observes with childlike glee and curiosity every movement you make while practicing telekinesis. The extra attention might be embarrassing at first, but it’s all because he loves you too much and wants to be a part of your life, be it mundane or extraordinary.

Absolutely adores it when you use telekinesis to pass him the salt at dinner or to do something else that is a cute and small domestic gesture.

Feels immense happiness and pride that the woman he loves has such powers, but will never boast about it. In fact, he’ll keep quiet about it, afraid that bad people might come after you if word of your supernatural abilities got out. 

Because of this, he never takes pictures of you while you’re using your powers, even though he really wants to. Rest assured, though. If someone hacked his phone and saw them, he’s willing to live with you on a distant island until things calm down and people forget about what they’ve seen.

You can’t find it in yourself to tell him that doesn’t matter. Even if he did take such pictures and they were leaked online, all people would see would be a blur of colors barely resembling a person. But the dork is too cute trying to protect you, so playing along benefits all.

707 // Luciel Choi // Saeyoung Choi : MC who is a shapeshifter

When you shapeshift into Elly, then back to your normal form, Saeyoung’s first reaction is to drop the Phd Pepper he’s holding, his lips slowly parting as he tries to comprehend what just happened.

Shocked. Happy and super curious, but shocked. And once his mind slows down, he feels worry seeping into his bones.

Because of his job as an agent and his crappy childhood, Saeyoung is well aware of the atrocities people are capable of. If someone found out about what you can do, or even worse, if someone from the agency found out about you, you’d be sentenced to a life of experiments on your body that would leave you scarred, both physically and mentally.

Falls on his knees, forehead on the floor as he begs you to never ever use your powers again.

Takes a lot of time for you to convince him that you’ve managed to survive on your own so far, so going forward, especially when you have people like him to protect, love, and support you, shouldn’t be a problem.

Still, he makes you promise you’d be extra careful.

On very rare occasions, he asks you to partially shapeshift into a cat - just the ears. There’s something about playing with your kitty ears that calms him down immensely. If he doesn’t drift off to sleep snuggled close to you, he’ll often pretend he’s a cat, too.

“Sevenny can be a cute kitty, too, nyan ~ See, nyan? ~ Seven-nyan deserves a good belly rub, nyan ~”

Ray // Unknown // Saeran : MC who can understand animals’ emotions and control their behavior/animal empathy and manipulation

Saeran’s always known you are special.

It’s in the way you smile, the way you tuck your hair behind your ear, and the way you carry yourself. He’s known this all along. This supernatural gift you possess, it’s just another layer of uniqueness that sets you apart from everyone else.

He’s in awe every time he wakes up to find you sitting on the front porch, surrounded by many and different animals that seem to be as smitten with you as he is.

“I guess I’m gonna marry a princess. And not just any princess - my future wife is a Disney princess.”

Likes to tease you about it in the most caring way possible. Often calls you “Snow White”, “Belle”, or simply “my princess”. Makes you wonder if he realizes just how incredibly adorable he is by doing that.

Doesn’t mind getting a pet, or two, or maybe even five. With your supernatural gift, it’s inevitable.

Your home is bound to become a safe place for strays, so that at least saves you time you’d otherwise spend looking for a pet that has a higher chance of finding a forever home anyway. Strays are something else.

He might not be able to communicate or understand animals as much as you do, but Saeran loves them nonetheless. It’s his small and unconventional family, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Vanderwood : MC who can teleport to any place in the world she’s seen before, even if just on a picture

Silence.

“Bubbles, have you gone mad? Did you hit your head or something?”

Vanderwood’s initial reaction is that of disbelief. Or more like, denial.

He’s seen some secret documents at his job. He knows what’s up. People’s genes mutate and occasionally, that gives them supernatural powers. Extraordinary gifts that should be celebrated, but are instead hidden away in dark laboratories, never to be seen by the world.

No, he’s not gonna let that happen to you.

In a fit of anger, you grab him by the arm and teleport you both to a secluded place in an unknown country. Might be the waves crashing against the cliff you’re standing atop, might be the sun rays warming you up as the sun rises, but Vanderwood calms down.

He understands he can’t make the decision for you. He can’t hide you away in some faraway cottage at the end of the world. All he can do is sit down and have a serious conversation with you.

Lets you know he’ll be there for you no matter what happens. Even if it means laying down his own life, he’ll protect you.

Never comes to this, though. With time you realize there’s only one place you truly want to be, and that’s by his side. Everything else you wanna see in this world, well, you sure as hell can get there by the various means of transportation that already exist. And with Vanderwood by your side, the hours spent traveling are time well spent.

Mad Drunk MC + RFA Headcanons

Okay so I am kinda scared of posting this as I usually do head canons and erase them as I don't think they are good enough but I am taking a risk kinda soo pardon my rambling... If anyone has any requests or ideas of hc ill gladly give it a try <33

So the  situation is mc being drunk after a fight with the RFA members and their reaction to calm her down and take her home/to sleep. Enjoy ~

Yoosung

They were at home playing games when they had a fight due to Yoosung getting mad he lost. MC tried lightening the mood but he was too mad to listen and snapped at her, which led her to go to the kitchen and grab a drink too many. After cooling down Yoosung goes to seek her and finds her sprawled on the sofa. He gathers some courage by downing a drink and approaches her.

He finds himself a bit tipsy as he approaches MC

You look cute all flushed and let’s not fight anymore? God I am an idiot aren't I?

MC sees him, her eyes hardening and she starts yelling nonsense at him and his stupid game.

While she is yelling he keeps thinking about how soft her lips look and how a strand of hair keeps hiding her beautiful eyes. He notices how her eyes grow bigger when she is mad, so cute.

God I want to kiss her, does she know I want to kiss her?

“You care more about your stupid stupid games than me!”

How can she even think that? She is his entire world and no virtual character could compete against her. Ever.

He can’t handle it anymore so he kisses her, shutting her up.

Why are her lips so soft? Is she really all mine? I think I am dreaming, this is definitely a dream.

As she pulls away her frown lessens and he apologizes, she can't stay mad for long with that cute face he makes when apologizing.

He takes her hand and they both stumble into bed giggling and after kissing for a while they both fall asleep with a smile in their faces

Zen

It was a long day on set and the director kept Zen longer than planned. MC had prepared a surprise dinner which eventually went cold and led her to drink all the alcohol she had reserved for the romantic evening. Zen arrives tired after a long day and seeing the candles and cold food internally kicks himself as he approaches mc who has her head laying on the table.

Zen lightly touches her head to see if she is awake and she sits up immediately, as she sees him she pouts and turns away.

MC starts speaking gibberish and pointing a finger accusatory at him.

“I am going to speak to that director of yours! how dare him? the nerve of keeping you away from my surprise. There really are some inconsiderate people in this world! th-”

How much did she drink? She is going to have a serious hangover

“Babe, we can discuss things later but for now you should sleep, okay my princess?”

“Don't “my princess” me! I am my own damn princess”

Zen tries to repress a chuckle as MC refuses to go to bed and as he starts to lift her up she scrambles away and sits down in the floor to prove her point.

Zen smirks at how cute she puffs her cheeks when mad.

“You leave me no option” he says as he carries MC bridal style to the room.

MC tried to fight it by sloppily hitting Zen but eventually gives up and falls asleep on his arms.

“So cute and stubborn...” Zen whispers as he sets her down and makes sure she’s comfortable by laying her on the softest pillow.

Forehead kiss as he lays at her side and she fall asleep in his arms

Jaehee

Jaehee was supposed to pick up MC after work on her office because of their anniversary but as work keeps coming in, Jumin lets her off later. Just when she is heading out she realizes how late it is and how MC has been waiting for almost 1 hour to pick her up. She dials MC’s number but it goes off to voice message and when she arrives at MC’s office she is nowhere to be seen. Jaehee starts to panic but just as she is about to head to the police look for her she spots her in a bar next to the office mumbling to herself.

Jaehee quickly enters the bar and drags MC away paying for the tab.

MC stumbles out mindlessly until she realizes its Jaehee and giving her an icy look turns away.

“Look, I am sorry... I know I was supposed to come but you know Jumin and his cat projects... I promise ill make it up to you and...” she trails off seeing as MC is looking the other way while she is repeating everything she just said in a mocking voice.

Sigh, she is lucky she’s cute.

It’s cold out and as they are walking towards Jaehee’s car, she notices how MC is shivering due to the cold weather.

Jaehee takes off her coat and wraps it around mc

She blushes and looks at Jaehee for the first time since the fight, stopping her gibberish mumbling.

“Look I am sorry if I upset you but it’s freezing and I don’t want you catching a cold and also you may wa-“

MC interrupts Jaehee by kissing her and mumbles an apology for acting like a child.

Jaehee smiles and as she tucks away a strand of hair she resume kissing her in the cold, suddenly feeling very warm.

Saeyoung

Although the agency Saeyoung worked for didn't exist anymore, he was doing some investigating jobs he couldn't decline. MC was uneasy about the whole situation and tried confronting him about it, only to have him snap at her. Angry and frustrated, MC goes out of the house slamming the door leaving Saeyoung embarrassed and regretful for snapping at her. Although she didn't know, he had installed a tracker to know where she was on her phone. He tracked her down and found her in a park bench nearby with a bottle in hand.

“Come on babe we are going home”

MC stares daggers at Saeyoung, “Hell no, I am not going where I am not wanted” she huffs and crosses her arms dramatically.

Saeyoung sighs, of course she wants her, he just doesn't want her to get involved in the dangerous aspects

Saeyoung grabs her by the arm and brings her up from the bench, noticing her resisting efforts.

God she is so damn stubborn but it’s also makes me like her more? Is that even possible?

Mc is lightly hitting his arm and talking gibberish.

“ The Nerve Saeyoung, the nerve to drag meee inside. Go be with your chips and soda, have fun its not lik-”

She stumbles as he is dragging her they are walking and MC trips.

He grabs her by the waist and steadies her.

“W-why are you so cute and frustrating when all I want is for you to be safe?” Cant she see he is protecting her?

MC tries to get away from the embrace but he holds on, a slight smile appearing on his face.

He tightens the embrace as he says “I am not letting you go before you say the magical words”

MC is struggling to get away while lightly insulting him and Saeyoung is laughing.

She suddenly stops struggling turning to face Saeyoung

“I know your weakness” MC says a mocking tone in her slurred words, as he shuts him up with a fiery kiss.

Saeyoung suddenly lets her go pink tinting his cheeks.

“I-I... y-you...” MC laughs at his sudden shyness and they start heading home.

“Ill make it up to you, defender seven zero seven will always protect you” and as she snuggles closer he guides her home.

Jumin

MC and Jumin went out to eat at a fancy restaurant. The same day, an important deal at the company was done, thus Jumin kept receiving calls throughout the meal. Everytime MC tried talking to him they seemed to be interrupted thus MC started drinking more wine than she should have. They exit the restaurant and head to the car were the chauffeur awaited.

He is oblivious that she is mad as they both walk in silence.

MC, suddenly wanting him to notice her, walks in front of Jumin and stands her ground puffing her cheeks.

Jumin is taken aback by her sudden approach and almost slams into her

She is drunk, with her light figure and low tolerance to drinks he should have been more attentive.

“We must hurry to the car, it’s getting late and I don’t want you getting a hangover and a cold”

Mc refuses to move and Jumin sighs.

“You ignored me alllll night and now want meee to move?” She says doing exaggerated hand motions and enlarging her words for emphasis.

Was he ignoring her? Hmmm but didn't she noticed how he lived for that smile on her face when she got all excited with the fillet and how he made sure to order her favorite wine? He must ensure next time she knows this details.

Jumin notices how flushed she gets while mad. Cute.

She isn’t going to move without an apology huh?

“MC I apologize if my actions and behavior made you mad but please get in the car or else you will catch a cold and then I will have to take a few days leave off work to take care of you. Of course, you could alwa-“

MC interrupts Jumin by giving him a peck to shut him up, when he gets on his rambles he never shuts up, he cares.

Slight blush as MC drunkenly puts her head in his shoulder and they walk to the car waiting for them down the block

As the chauffeur drives them home, MC cuddles on Jumin’s shoulder and as he looks at her he promises to be more attentive, he’ll ensure to turn off the phone next dinner and prepare the pancakes for breakfast he knew she loved.

How about jumin having an argument with mc about rika who is back but with malice intentions but everyone didn't notice especially Jumin because he still has feelings for her even though he is with mc. Rika and her followers went to kidnapped mc and tries to kill her (beaten, force the elixer on mc) because she felt threatened by mc. How would jumin react to this when he finds mc pretty beaten up? Would he be traumatised? Would he cried? Will he hate rika? I love to see a desperate jumin

Because this is very specific I felt headcanons wouldn’t be enough, so I triedto write a drabble with a different approach because you already wrote half of the storyyourself xD I didn’t want to just write exactly what you said but with prettierwordscause I started this while I was in class and I was pretty bored, Iactually ended up with a fic lol. I hope you’ll like it!

PS: In my opinion Jumin gave up on his feelings on Rika, if there really wereany, pretty early. We know how strong his will is, and so are his morals. Hewouldn’t let himself think of the lover and later the fiancé of his best friend,like ever. But let’s imagine hedidn’t give up on those feelings for the sake of your scenario o/

The CEO of C&R could never be moregrateful for his life. He had a beautiful wife that was all he ever imaginedher to be. He proposed to her in public and he would do it again, any time,with no second thoughts. He finally had someone to call his own, with no fearthat someone else might take her away from him. If she ever wanted to leave, hewould make her stay. Somehow, in any way, she will not leave.He won’t be alone again.The discovery of more lies from his friend didn’t settle well with Jumin, Rikawas alive and Jumin felt like he was losing control over everything. Hestarting coming to bed way too late, his smile wasn’t as warm as it used to beand his touch was absent pretty often, way too often. They used to share smilesand sweet nothings during the day and the bed during the night, and now itfeels like he is barely home. What happened?His thoughts were poisoned, and no matter how much he loved MC he needed timealone to sort them out. Rika was alive and he should be angry. Everything shewas doing was illegal, and there were innocent people involved. She didn’treach out to him and she lied and hid. But he still felt like maybe he canhelp, maybe she will come back. Why was she in his thoughts? Why did heremember the exact way her golden locks shone in the sunlight, the way shesoftly smiled and the little tilt of her head from that day? Why does he hearthose words so clear even after all this time, “Maybe if I met you first…”?

 After they discovered the first glimpse ofMint Eye, every trace of it disappeared. They had a hacker just as good asSeven, and somehow the old building that had their logo was now completelyempty. She escaped and evaded him once again.

He didn’t know it frustrated him, for notbeing able to do the right thing, or if he felt relieved. Maybe, just maybe,she will call. She will ask for forgiveness and will ask him for help. Would heable to do it? Would he be able to forgive her? And then what?

Those were the questions tangling around histhroat every night when he slid into bed next to his beautiful, sleeping wife.

 And then, the worst happened.

When MC disappeared he could only blamehimself. He should have loved her better, treat her better, spend more timewith her. It was only his fault and now she was gone. Zen was telling him theywill find her; Jaehee was constantly trying to reassure her boss that thingswill be fine. There was only one thought as he drank the last sip from the Chateau MargauBottle: she left on her own. He deserved this, letting anangel to escape through his fingers just because he kept thinking of the crowon the fence. Even so, the entire C&R was working to find her. Herlingering scent in their house was the only thing that kept him sane, that madehim keep his hope. RFA was on alert and he sent bodyguards for everyone. Hecan’t afford to lose his family, no; the thought itself wasn’t allowed toexist.

 Blessed be the day when he found her. The knotin his chest was threatening to split him open with every step he took on MintEye’s halls. Every sleepless night, every empty bottle and every grievingthought was coming back to him. He was afraid, he was happy, he was feeling somuch that for the first time in his life, he felt like puking.

 On his way there, between the policemen andthe doctors, between the followers who were fighting and those who were crying,happy to be finally free, he saw her. Rika was wearing a dark blue and whiterobe, and she was nothing he remembered. Her eyes that used to be the color ofgrape leaves were now sharp and cruel, like poison. Her full hair that used tobath into the sunlight was now pale and lifeless. Their eyes met and he feltnothing. There was nothing behind her furrowed eyes and there was nothing inhis chest. Then, a sudden feeling was tickling his core. He felt like a huge weightwas raised from his shoulders, he felt free and he smiled.

 Jumin smiled at her in the middle of all ofthese people because she no longer had power over him, he smiled at himselfbecause he knew what he had to do now and he smiled for everybody to see thatnow, after all this time, he was finally a new man ready to forget the past andbuild towards his future.

 His love, his future, his life, now it alldepended on one single person: MC.

 His future was waiting in a big ceremony roomthat looked creepily grim, with a big chair in the middle that he assumed itbelonged to The Savior, Rika’s self-chosen title. He made his way through thesea of doctors to finally see her, sitting down with her head bowed and herarms lifelessly hanging on her sides. MC’s eyes were unfocused and she lookedpale and skinny, bruises flourishing from underneath her bangs and under theblanket that was covering her frail shape. But she was alive.

 His heart shattered at the sight, and he fellto his knees. “Just few minutes, leave me alone with her.” his voicealmost begged and hesitantly the doctors left, none of them complaining infront of Mr. Han. Not when they saw him like this.

 "My wife…“ he begun,cupping her soft hand bruised with green and purple in his bigger ones. She wasstill starring into nothingness while his heart ached to see her looking athim.

 "I am sorry. I am sorry foreverything I did, and for everything I did not. I love you, I always had, and Iwill always will. I can only beg to God you will allow me to stay by your sideonce again.” he muttered every word with pained voice. Bringing her handto his lips he pressed a soft kiss on the damaged skin.

 "My threads have grown spikessince you left and they were clenching closer to my heart with every secondthat I could not have you in my arms. I missed you, my wife, and I loveyou.“ he exhaled against her hand and he was ready to get up, when herother hand came to cup his cheek. His eyes grew so big when she smiled againsther inflamed cheek, like he saw an angel unfolding her wings in front of hisvery own eyes.

 "I forgive you.” she saidin her weak voice and it was enough to make his eyes glossy, pulling her in atight hug and letting go only when the doctors urged him to.

He was happy, and he was free.
