Mirage can't say she's particularly friends with anyone at the school. That'd mean talking to people—and while she's not against starting up a conversation, when historically most of those ended up spiraling into something of an existential breakdown, people learned to keep chats with her short and sweet.

Wasn't a surprise that interactions tended to be a little sparse.

It does make being on her ass for the second time this week something of a startle, though. But the last time was an accident, and the guy who did it had some decency to them, at least; this equally unfamiliar fuckface—new freshman, maybe, thinking they're some sort of hotshot—is laughing and jeering something she can't quite hear over the sound of her internal systems kicking up and the fluttering of loose papers drifting down to the ground.

But before she can even get up and deck this idiot in the face, someone steps up to intervene. There's a dim sort of familiarity to him—might've passed him by in the halls or something. But either her assailant knows him or he has a reputation she's entirely unaware of, because the laughing just stops and they're gone by the time she turns her attention back toward them.

To be honest, though, she doesn't really care for the specifics. Mirage gives Gabriel a sidelong glance—or as much as her optic allows.

Sending out kudos to everyone who has shown their love towards Ryder for the past two years.

I love u all very much and every engagement, be it even just a like, means a lot to me.

I've intended to sorta make a cool post of some older vp of him as of today, September 17th, exactly 2 years ago I have created Ryder,— back then as a supposed supportive character for Vijay, very unsure if I would like him as Ry didn't visually turn out as I wanted him to be in the first place and he never went that way either afterwards — yet I find myself writing those lines instead.

I've accepted his look and his imperfection started to grow on me with each picture I took of him. Unlike my other ocs he went his own way leading me along to discover his personality. That's what makes him so different compared to my other blorbos and has me so attached to him.

I did not plan to make him a raver (he was supposed to become an 80s goth punk, a total different style than he's got now) neither that he would end up with a rogue AI controlling him. Only his name, basic info and the toxic family story was planned right from the beginning but that's pretty much it – Ryder showed me the rest of it.

Within the year 2023 I noticed more and more that Ryder has slowly but surly turned out to be my main character.

He turned out to be the most expressive and photogenic one of them all. I don't see him as the prettiest looking either yet he's my most precious and I love every pixel about him.

He's the one thing in my life I am actually truly 100% proud of.

Almost all my ocs exist because of him. They are his support characters. Without him half of them would not even exist. There would be no Thyjs. Even Garnet exists so Ry can live out his passion (that was not really put into the game but exists as lore: Technoise).

I am beyond happy to have created him.

He helps me in a lot of rather personal ways too I do not need to address here.

I got so much to tell about him (also about my other ocs) yet idk if I should continue or not as I find myself stuck with overthinking about it bc of lack of public response literally everywhere (this excludes private chat talks with close friends). Maybe Ryder's too intimidating (not the first time I would read that), his lore gets overlooked easily, or it's to much (confusing) text.

I cannot make anyone force-like him. Tastes are different. Minority is into others oc lore. Less time to read it all. The list is long. I'm aware of it all.

But I cannot underline it enough: do never hesitate to ask me questions about him. He's on my mind 24/7 and my biggest wish is to get this story out and done some day (whenever it will be) and receive some actual feedback on it what was liked.

Just a tiny detail is enough. <3

Another wish I have ever since I joined the CP77 fandom: that people would go back to comment each other more. We all do have little time for it, we all think "oh no so much text to read", we all are in our own bubbles rarley coming out to explore another bubble within this universe. It takes a lot of effort to do. people do seem scared on top to write anything at all for numerous reasons. I have all those problems as well. But I try to sit down and read the one or other lore chunk others wrote down and give a tiny comment as best as I can to make the creator have a smile on their lips. I truly wish we all would do this at least once a week to one person. once a month would be also fine. But if we don't this fandom will be dead soon enough and all thats left is just liking vp with characters on it we know almost nothing about. And maybe even those characters won't have lore anymore bc people stop creating it.

You know that a BL drama is Something Else or just Fucking Good (or both) when it throws in a bold sex scene that would usually set the fandom on fire for weeks, but after which the fandom reacts:

"Oh, Jin and Phee had sex? coolcoolcool... but how does that relate to their Schrödinger almost-boyfriend Non?" 🤔*puts a board on the wall with a complicated network of interconnections between the characters*. And the days after an episode with literal sex scenes, instead of squealing and creating a million gifs, fandom spends this time on meticulous analysis and creating meta about it and The Horrors 🙂 Not to mention, that after the episode with such a high heat scene, the fandom generally reacted like, coolcoolcool.... but have you seen my new blorbo?? 😤😍 Meanwhile the new blorbo: a pathetic dude who isn't even the prettiest of the cast or even in a BL relationship and is actually technically poisoning the BL element of the BL series lmao

It was similar with Love For Love's Sake. We knew it was a Very Unique series because it created a beautiful and romantic relationship and the fandom was like: ohhhh, how beautiful and romantic 🥺🥺🥺 BUT,

The Al Ghul Children. Are so freaking TRAGIC and I can never get over them

So you have the baby generation which is Mara and Damian and Athantasia; then the original generation, which is Dusan, Nyssa, and Talia.

Attie straight up doesn't exist in most media but in the game(?) where she does she's Damian baby sister who was kept a secret until he couldn't go back to being with the bats. I think about her all the time. What did she know about Damian growing up? Did she ever want to meet him? How many times did she sit in the middle of the night and wish for her brother to do something unforgivable so he could come back? Or was she glad he was gone? The league canonically pits their kids against each other, did she grow up resenting him? Or, even if she liked the idea of him, did she resent him anyway for being the child who went to Bruce? Did she take up Damian's place in the duels with Mara?

Athantasia isn't used nearly enough for her potential she is blorbo-shaped.

And then Damian! Itty bitty baby boy with a sword and issues. I think so much about how he's naturally soft but he can't be because of circumstance. How many quiet moments were lost to blood, how long did it take for him to learn what a genuine human connection felt like? What if he never did? I've been around humans I love since I was born, and I still sometimes feel absolutely disconnected from them. How much superiority is covering for insecurity? We've seen him make friends, Maps, Colin, Jon, as the three I actually care about, and he likes them. Did he make friends in the league? What happened to them? Or did he just, for lack of a better word, imprint, on other assassins?

In a complete other fandom I'm propagating biting as a love language and Damian has that vibe too.

Holy fudge Mara also sends me; being constantly raised not only as a weapon, but being told you're the second best weapon and that maybe you can gain more prestige if you beat your cousin in a deadly duel, except even if you do win you know you will never get the recognition you're trying for because his mother is favored and your father isn't

Were she and Damian ever close, or as close as they could get? Did they plan how to lead the league when they weren't trying to take each others' eyes out, did she ever meet Attie, did she take her anger on Damian out on Attie, is the red streak something she does to hide a lazarus streak or is it natural from her dad? Can she see out of her other eye? Where did she see herself in the league before Damian deserted? Is she close to her teammates in the fist or are they just the prettiest canon fodder Ra's could send?

Is there a part of her that is as relieved to be hunting Damian down as it is angry, because at least fighting him is familiar?

The older three also make me Feel Things but not as much as the kiddos.

Nyssa apparently survived the holocaust? And then Ra's murdered her kids and then repeatedly killed her and dropped her into the pits for... something? I don't remember if I ever learned why that happened, but it did and it's so horrid? Drove her to insanity, surprise surprise. I recommend Misericordia and it's sequel on ao3 if you want to cry over Steph, Damian, Talia, and Nyssa. And then the Nyssa Al Ghul & Tim Drake Tag, if you're feeling adventurous. I don't even know the NAMES of Nyssa's kids and that makes me incredibly sad.

Would they have gotten along with the other three? Would they have taken them and ran? Or would they train them, keeping their bloodline strong, and just quietly know that these are their cousins and they're so proud?

And Talia gets rewritten every other writer but there are so many options when characterizing her and they're so much fun. But also everyone else deals with her so jumping to the next one. I think Talia is also the youngest? Don't quote me on that

Anyway last al ghul I think too much about is Dusan. I can't remember if he's the oldest or the middle child but despite being Ra's' male heir he straight up got sent away because he has albinism? And then he fought his way back into his father's ranks under an alias? He went so far for approval and he's still overlooked, and his kid is considered second rate, even though he's personally considered to be terrifying?

How long did it take him to come back? Why didn't he stay away? Does he ever regret it, now that he's back in the league?

i just. There are lots. and lots. of thoughts about them. And I'm sure there are more al ghuls hiding somewhere for me to lose my everloving mind over but I haven't met them yet

🍈 Headcanons for blorbos I enjoy writing? WELL. I’ve definitely talked about some of these before but you get to hear them again <3.

I love imagining Simon’s middle name is Rhys. Simon Rhys Riley is that not the prettiest name you’ve ever heard. His mum was Welsh which makes he and soap Celtic brothers (lovers) in arms 🤝 Also Simon having a sweettooth. He likes to indulge now to make up for when he was younger. And! Simon who kisses with his eyes open. Definitely a trust issue thing (and definitely not me projecting) I like to think eventually he gets to a point with Soap where he feels safe closing his eyes. Also. This man is covered in tattoos

Soap knows Scottish Gaelic! His granny (who was from Skye and later moved outside Glasgow) raised him and she was a teacher in a Gaelic medium primary school. Sometimes I like to think he went to that school, sometimes not, but either way he grew up around the language. Like the rest of the 141, he also has a good grasp of other languages. He knows Arabic, French, and Russian (not Spanish apparently.) and math. He’s really good at math. That counts as a language to me. I also enjoy thinking that Soaps a crier. Angry crier, happy crier, disappointed crier, etc. the tears just well up before he even has a chance to stamp them out. He absolutely hates it. It’s embarrassing. Which only makes the tears worse. Basic training was a nightmare for this reason.

demon slayer

rengoku (the literal love of my life, the one who started it all, the main reason i got into anime, the cure to my depression at one point?? i get emotional just thinking about him sometimes. i go back and listen to the mugen train soundtrack just to hurt my own feelings)

shinobu (🦋 [can't add my blog tag for her cause it's an emoji but she has some of the prettiest fanart ever], gorgeous character design, color scheme, overall aesthetic, classy. she deserved more out of her life than being in a constant state of anger 😭)

inosuke (i have no tag for him but he is my fav from the main squad. he is chaotic as hell and caveman-ish in the most hilarious ways. his pretty face makes it that much more ironic)

nezuko (the cutest baddie ever. so pretty. protective of tanjiro and comrades. how can you not love her)

ino (my ABSOLUTE FAV underrated man?? his skater boy aesthetic makes me wEAK!! and correct me if i'm wrong but he just gives off major himbo energy. he's such a puppy, i love him so much 🥺 also fun fact i met his VA, who also voices tanaka from haikyuu [i don't think i will ever shut up about this])

gojo (for obvious reasons. handsome, funny, good at everything. at the same time he cares so much for the youngins it's really touching. but also he's just so unserious about everything i wish i had even an ounce of his confidence fr. an uncontested king, he deserved better 😭)

geto (oh geto (be forewarned: only depression posts in this tag). it hurt me so bad to see his descent into madness. i think his story and especially his relationship with gojo is beautifully written. the visual symbolism is also heavenly in the most melancholic way. he reminds me a lot of eren from aot. i felt his exhaustion and hopelessness from the depths of my soul. i think about rengoku when i want to be hurt in a good(ish?) way, but geto is my go-to when i'm in the mood for straight depression)

yuta (a blorbo if I've ever seen one. so precious. very sad about his current state. if gege kills him off there will be no one left 😭)

choso (normally i don't care for emo boys but he's so 'i am onii-chan,' it's endearing and also kind of funny. other than that he's really quiet for the most part but also like responsible and cares a lot about people he's close to. i ship him and yuki. i remember finding out about his death when i'd first logged into tumblr one day and i was devastated. how does gege manage to kill everyone 😭🤡)

shoto (see tag: SHOTOOOOO. my favorite boy. i love how the angst just completely left his body after deku forced him through his inner turmoil during the sports festival. competent. obviously one of bones' favorites given he's always drawn so handsomely)

maehara (a flirt and a playboy. i mostly only like him because he's handsome and he reminds me of kaminari from mha. i also love his friendship with isogai)

chiba/hayami (iconic sniper duo. very low key. i enjoy this introverted ship so much)

finn (the most normal™️ boy in this series. i'd love to be friends with him irl. he seems to be the only reasonable one in the group lmao. i guess he's considered kind of lame? but only cause his friends are wack jobs *affectionate*. his power is really cool and i think he deserves more interactions with his brother.)

lemon (my fav kooky girl. she'd host such a good girls' self care night imo. i feel like she deserves more attention but she's all good vibes and just so lovely)

dot (kinda crazy. almost the boy version of lemon? they give off the same chaotic energy but he's a good boy at heart and very golden retriever. he deserves the love he so wishes for!!)

abel (i don't care much for his character but aesthetically with the purple hair/clothes and his eyes i just. also his voice is nice and deep)

pascal (hippie otter that's just vibin'. high all the time and i respect it. i love the way he looks. i wanted to buy a phone case off etsy with him on it and i still regret not getting it to this day [it is no longer for sale 🥲])

I have no idea what I'm on lately tbh but guess what dear people

This post is dedicated specifically to Aquila, goldenheart kid I made up because fankids are very fun to create. It's especially fun to try and analyze your blorbos' relationship and how they'd raise a kid if they had one, what hurdles they'd face in a calm family routine, when, instead of fighting the government and dancing with anarchistic sharks, the main problem is "What should I make for dinner today?"

Specifically I wanna talk about Aquila's design and why they are the way they are

When making their outfit, what I took most inspiration from was citizens' casual style of clothes. They wear a long purple dress (I hate the order of adjectives so much english why are you so damn hard), their boots are actually supposed to be those baggy boots the hero of every old fairytale wears. To mix medieval with modern, tho, I took Ambrosius's hoodie (WHY DID I CALL IT A SWEATER ON THE PIC- MY BRAIN IS NOT WORKING) and renovated it a little bit :D

I can imagine the fam cleaning the house as usual when Aquila finds something in the old box, that being the hoodie

Aquila: Appa, look what I found! It's so cool! Can I wear it?

Ambrosius: Honey, this thing is two decades old! Let's just buy you a new one

Aquila: But I want this one. Specifically. Please🥺

Ambrosius: A-a-alright, you can keep it

And then they made a new clothing out of it

As for the face, their features aren't that sharp, they're soft, round, the face is flat. I guess Ambrosius kinda won the genetics battle

Their nose, however, is something entirely on its own lololol. And their hair is exactly like Ballister's, very dark brown and soft and beautiful💅

As for the eyes, I think they're like. The prettiest dark brown color you've ever met. Ballister's gorgeous brown eyes + Ambrosius's gentle voids surely do mix greatly

I have no idea why the need to describe how this one made-up silly fankid I made look but!! I sure know I have a comic for you at the end lmaoo

Ambrosius Boldheart ft. the Goldenloins and awkward family relationship

Ambrosius gives his parents ZERO mercy. As they deserve tbh. He's ending the cycle y'all, he's a Boldheart now and he won't let the fruit of his and his husband's love be put on as many expectations as he had on his shoulders way too young

I have so so many ideas about how Goldenloins are like, I could blog a bunch of different things about my guesses of their personalities and looks hahaha!
