hey guys can we maybe stop calling queer people we disagree with “freaks.” yes even if they’re gross. i feel like we should know better considering our circumstances
#this isn’t in response to anything in particular so dw i’m not vaguing anyone#just an overall trend i’ve noticed lately#but uh. it’s just not something you should call a queer person. ever#unless ur using it positively and you KNOW they’re okay with it like 100% sure#esp bc it doesn’t actually hurt the people you’re trying to insult. and instead just hurts everyone around you#like. yes some people are queer and incredibly creepy or do gross things#but if we start calling them freaks it gives people the confidence to start calling US freaks#because we’re queer in ways that aren’t as easy to understand#idk if i’m saying it properly but . let’s stop please

So, I, like many other authors on AO3, lick on the profile of everyone who leaves Kudos, Comments, or Bookmarks my fics.
Lately (within the past 2 years) I’ve noticed the join dates of readers are newer and newer. Most of the people interacting with my fics (even just leaving Kudos without comment) joined AO3 around 2019-23, it’s rare now to find a reader who’s join date is 2018 or earlier.
I was just curious if any other authors have noticed the same thing or if it’s just a trend in my own fandom and not a phenomenon happening across all fandoms.
(And to get ahead of any misunderstandings: this Ask is NOT complaining about new accounts or younger fans. This Ask is wondering “where did all the old accounts go?/why are the no longer active anymore?” I myself joined AO3 in 2012 during a mass exodus when Critics United was bullying people off the site)
--
I just sent in an Ask about AO3 join dates and I think I forgot to specify, it was FANFICTION.NET that was the site I left in part of a mass exodus when people were being bullied back in 2012
(Haha, yes, I knew. Critics United are notorious.)
--
Well, have you seen the stats about AO3 usage?
Your particular fandom might be popular with quite young people who'd be less likely to have old accounts, but I'd guess that most of the effect is just from the overall numbers.
AO3 front page from the end of 2011: 30,914 accounts
End of 2012, after the FFN shenanigans: 101,668 accounts
End of 2018: 1,758,000 accounts
End of 2019: 2,234,000 accounts
End of 2020 after people were anxious and broke and stuck at home: 3,163,000 accounts
Right now today: 7,434,000 accounts
The old accounts are right where they always were. Mine is #87, for example.
It's just that the vast majority of accounts ever made are recent. When a site goes viral, growth is exponential. That will keep being true until and unless AO3 starts being seen as passe and some hot new archive takes its glory.

[A3!] ★ Main Story | Act 14 - DREAM CATCHER | Episode 7 - Medium-Hot Review
Yuki: The clean copy is done.
Hato: Thank you. I appreciate the help. Well then, you’re free to go for today.
Yuki: Good work.
Koro: Woof, woof!
Yuki: You went for a walk just a bit ago.
Hato: Koro, it’s time for Rurikawa-kun to go home, so he can’t play with you anymore. It’s time for you to say goodbye.
Hato: Ah, that reminds me… I’ve been asked to design costumes for an upcoming play, but I’m a bit short on staff…
Hato: Since you have experience with stage costumes, I was wondering if you’d be able to help me, Rurikawa-kun.
Hato: I can’t give you any of the details yet, but have you heard of Aiko Kataoka-san? They do costumes for Hollywood movies--.
Yuki: --I’ve heard of them.
Hato: Good. Since you do costume design, I was certain you would.
Hato: What would you say if I told you that the same Kataoka-san is involved with this project?
Yuki: I’d love to do it, but… I’m more busy with my theater company at the moment.
Hato: Right. It is an important time for you guys right now, isn’t it?
Hato: Well, I’m sure there’ll be another opportunity like this at some point, so I’ll let you know when that time comes. Good job today.
Yuki: …

Passerby A: Yua Troupe’s performance was so novel and interesting~!
Passerby B: I honestly thought they just created a theater troupe for clout, but they called in some real hardcore theater people to be on their production team, so it was way better than I thought it’d be!
Passerby A: The contents of it had that typical Yua Troupe feel that gives things a sense of stability, and the audience was packed with OG fans, so overall, the whole thing seemed to be going pretty strong.
Passerby B: I’m gonna write a review on Encom!
Yuki: (Encom, huh… I’ll check it out just a bit, for the sake of researching other theater troupes.)
Yuki: …
Yuki: (That Yua Troupe they were just talking about was selected as a notable troupe. And they were ranked pretty high during the pre-voting…)
Review: “And the costumes were cool too! They didn’t look a whole lot like stage costumes, but Yua Troupe’s got such good taste~.”
Yuki: …
Yuki: (There’s a MANKAI Company review too… I don’t know if I really want to see something like this, but, well, it’s for research…)
Review: “Spring Troupe’s performance was literally the best thing ever! I never thought they would’ve done a sequel, but the way you could feel how much they’ve grown had me sobbing!”
Review: “I can’t wait for Summer Troupe’s either~. If they go with this trend, that means it’ll be a sequel to their debut, right?”
Yuki: (Seems like people generally liked it…)
Review: “The costumes had that same stable feel they always have. But don’t you think that as Yuki Rurikawa’s become more established as a creator, his costumes have started to lack a bit of surprise and unexpectedness?”
Review: “Maybe I’m just noticing it more after seeing Yua Troupe. I guess it’s just inevitable when you have the same designer do things every single time~.”
Yuki: --.

Troupe Member: Good work today, Ikaruga-kun. There are only a few more shows left, but let’s keep up the good work until the end.
Misumi: Ka~y! Good work~.
Misumi: (Being on a stage other than MANKAI’s was a little weird at first, but once I got used to it, it’s been fun~.)
Misumi: (It’s interesting to see all the different actors, scripts, and stage direction~.)
Syu: …Good work.
Misumi: Huh? What are you doing here~?
Syu: My bad. I didn’t have your contact info, so I just had to wait for ya to come out.
Misumi: Did you see my performance?
Syu: Yeah. I happened to know someone who was in the show, so I came to watch and was surprised to see you there too.
Syu: While we’re at it, I thought I’d invite ya to come have a drink with me.
Misumi: Sure~. And after that, we can exchange our LIMEs~.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Syu: So you’ve been doin’ a few guest performances here and there lately, huh? Didn’t think ya were the type.
Misumi: Director-san and Tenma and all the others suggested it. It’s been really fun getting out there!
Syu: Is that so? Well, with actin’ talent as good as yours, I’m sure you’ll be in high demand.
Misumi: And they also said that I can grow by gaining lotsa experience on different stages~!
Misumi: I’ve also gotta try even harder for the Fleur Award.
Syu: Huh, I’m surprised you’ve thought about it that much.
Syu: Did Hakkaku-san teach ya about theater?
Misumi: Nope. But he showed me videos of old MANKAI Company performances~.
Syu: I see. Well, given the way Hakkaku-san was, I dunno if he was really the type to take his grandkid by the hand and teach ‘em everything he knows step-by-step.
Misumi: What was it like performing on stage with one of Gramps’s scripts?
Syu: Let me think… Well, simply put, it was excitin’.
Syu: I like Hakkaku-san’s scripts and I was happy to be the first to read ‘em before they were released to the public.
Syu: Hakkaku-san’s scripts ain’t just interestin’ to talk about, they’re pretty actor-friendly too.
Syu: He made sure to think about how to make each and every role shine onstage.
Syu: You could really feel that he trusted ya as an actor, which in turn got ya fired up.
Misumi: I see~. I wish I coulda also been on Gramps’s stage before he died~.
Syu: Did you start actin’ when you joined the troupe?
Misumi: Yep.
Syu: Gotcha…
Syu: Your actin’ has its moments where it shines, but it lacks depth. If there’s anythin’ you should be more aware of in the future, it’s that.
Misumi: Depth…?
Syu: Ya can’t control your own life experiences, but ya can experience the lives of many different actors on stage.
Syu: The more experiences ya have, the more depth your actin’ will have.
Syu: In that sense, you’ve made a good move by adding guest performances to your deck.
Syu: I know you’re prolly busy with the Fleur Award right now, but if you’re interested, get in touch with me. If it’s you were talkin’ about, I’m always ready to welcome ya.
Misumi: Okay, got it~.

Some thoughts and findings about my contributions to the Big Butterfly Count 2024 and photos from the three weeks
I have well documented over the years my enthusiasm for Butterfly Conservation’s vital summer survey to assess the health of butterfly and day-flying moth populations with since 2020 and working from home allowing constant access to Lakeside Country Park, Eastleigh close to our house meaning I did multiple counts during the survey. Since 2022 at the end of the count just for fun I’ve put all of my results which I keep a written record of after submitting to the count on the days I do them into a spreadsheet and made a leaderboard of the species and amounts I saw overall. It always interests me to look for trends and confirm anything I might have noticed during the counts and this year I thought I’d share some findings. As ever the place I did most counts this year was Lakeside with some in Winchester on office working days too, with visits to Rutland Water for the Global Bird Fair, Durlston in Dorset and visits further afield in/to the edge of Hampshire falling inside the count dates adding a bit of variety.
Overall my top five species in rank order were Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper, Small White, Ringlet and Marbled White and Speckled Wood tied in fifth. This is as predicted and much as I normally get, especially the top two. I do a separate leaderboard just for Lakeside counts which saw Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper, Speckled Wood, Six-spot Burnet and Small White make up my top five. The Lakeside leaderboard not too different to the overall one bar most of my Speckled Woods seen during the count being there and a good year for Six-spot Burnet for me.
The big theme we’ve heard so much of this year and during the count is of course the lack of butterflies and the concern this brings. I started putting my spreadsheet together yesterday morning knowing I’d likely get more counts in before the end of the survey and at that stage my data really reflected the lack of butterflies with 599 butterflies seen with an average of 16.64 per count down from 872 and 20.27 last year. However we then went to the very well managed butterfly haven Stockbridge Down yesterday afternoon and saw clouds of butterflies including my highest ever count for any species in a count of an incredible 80 Meadow Browns. Then today at Perham Down and Shipton Bellinger we saw loads of butterflies especially Meadow Browns with Common Blue and Peacock seeming to increase in numbers in recent days. This late surge pushing my figures up massively to 878 butterflies/moths in total with an average of 20.90 seen per count marginally ahead of last year! I saw 305 butterflies/moths with an average of 19.06 per count in the Lakeside counts compared to 423 and 22.26 last year.
Overall I counted less than last year of ten of the twenty species in the survey. Small White a focal point of the decreasing numbers with only 55 counted this year compared to last year’s 202; yet it only went from second to third in my overall leaderboard which says a lot I think. Red Admiral also a notable decrease but expected after the year with unprecedented numbers of them last year. I didn’t manage to see a single Small Copper in the count and other than a maybe sighting (of possibly seeing one flying very quickly I couldn’t quite tell) I’m yet to see one in Hampshire this year. One Jersey Tiger moth this year as I saw last year meant no increase or decrease for that one species and of the nine that I saw more of in the count overall this year than last most just seem down to chance. The increase in Six-spot Burnet I spotted from last year where I seemed to see more than ever is interesting, in both years particularly seeing lots at Lakeside.
As ever Marbled White and Ringlet which I did see more of than last year is interesting to look at my results for. Initially I put the increase down to the fact they seemed to first emerge in the year later than last year. I have been thinking over the last few years how this key summer pair with relatively short seasons traditionally should be at their peak in the three weeks the Big Butterfly Count is on from July into August, but as the years go by I seem to see my first in a year earlier meaning their seasons are waning with less and eventually none about into the count. Evidence of how the seasons are shifting in our changing world with the butterfly year a bit ahead of itself now. The impact of weather which has led to the troubles for insects this year possibly delaying their emergence a bit to put these two species’ season a bit more into their traditional place, Ringlet in particular I felt I was seeing at Lakeside later into the count than I’m becoming used to. However a check of my year lists this morning revealed the dates I saw my first of the year of them in June didn’t differ greatly to last year actually, in 2023 it just felt they’d been out a little while before I saw my first compared to this year when there seemed to be a lull in insects emerging in June and I first saw these species in a surge of butterfly sightings with some sunny weather. Another possible factor is that without further afield visits west to Martin Down and Durlston where the season seemed a bit behind with particularly Marbled White still out a lot during the count I may not have seen as many.
Purely for my amusement really I also compiled from my regular trip sightings lists a list of other species of butterflies and moths seen out in the day that I spotted during the days I was doing counts and I was pleased to see twenty different species to the ones in the count. Purple Hairstreak, Lulworth Skipper, Small Skipper, Essex Skipper, Silver-spotted Skipper, Large Skipper, Chalkhill Blue, Silver-studded Blue, Silver-washed Fritillary, Dark Green Fritillary, Small Heath, Wall Brown, Common Grayling, Mint moth and my first ever Magpie moths and Purple Bar among the highlights.
The photos in this set are of; Gatekeeper, Meadow Brown and Peacock at Stockbridge Down, Ringlet at Lakeside, Red Admiral at Egleton, Rutland Water, Brimstone and Comma at Martin Down and Large White, Speckled Wood and Holly Blue at Lakeside.

Miss your ikarishipping contents, lately I feel nostalgic about this ship. I miss your fankid Blake. I wonder how would be Paul and Dawn's daughter physically and personality according your point of view.
So I actually did doodle their daughter once, but WAY back in the day:
But decided to doodle the duo today, I probably named her something different back then but couldn’t remember 🫥 so I picked Liv to continue the one syllable name trend in the family lol (but also never really saw them having more than one kid 🫡)
Also, since I deleted my inbox to start fresh, this seems familiar to an old message that was in my inbox, so if I’m right and you’re wondering why I’m not really active with ikarishipping as much now THEN
Long story short, I pretty much have moved on from overall pokeani due to the characters never growing up. That, and after the whole fiasco with the creep I dealt with centering on Dawn + trademarking overall headcanons + vague shit talk - OVERALL I had to take a huge step back and realize being a highly sexual adult in a general kids fandom isn’t the best of ideas. OBVIOUSLY, I’m not saying it’s bad if you are an adult fan still engaged in the community, but for me the fandom just wasn’t ideal for me anymore.
ESPECIALLY when both of them returned in Journeys, and as expected, nothing really changed in their respective partings with Ash 🫤 at this point I feel much more engaged with sasu/saku | rey/lo | dimi/leth due to the characters mainly being adults + having more material to work with + their respective settings were more MATURE vs the pokeani setting. It probably doesn’t help that I’ve side eye the Pokémon franchise as a whole and well you can guess why 💀
Overall I’m not saying that I’m like DONE with this ship, I’m just WAY more cautious now due to characters being forever 10, and despite most of my content centered on them IS WHEN THEY’RE GROWN UP I also am not a writer 😅 I can doodle concepts but as mentioned it’s hard to do so when you feel more content in other fandoms + my life outside of apps being an absolute mess.
SO if you haven’t sent me an ask to draw them more prior, and this is just someone completely new, then f
I remember one message asked about the comparison of vege/bul and ikari which YEAH I STILL SAY THEY HAVE SIMILAR TRAITS but it was so old I didn’t want to indulge in it fjwiofjwfj besides I think I have prior so maybe I did answer them in another way and I will never know. ALSO,,,,I noticed that my fankid for dimi/leth is similar to Blake in most ways SO it’s really intriguing how I really jumped from ikarishipping to dimi/leth in terms of being highly fixated 🤔
I had fun looking back to the very beginning of this blog with my doodles as I was looking for my original drawing of these goobers, and no matter what, I’m glad ikarishipping was my first REAL otp that opened up my journey in fandoms. There’s still concepts I would love to finish with them, but overall, I’m just glad to hear you still like my ikari content!
#my doodles#ikarishipping#ikari#my fankids#?#i think that was a tag#cat’s random rambles#i hope this doesn’t sound mean fwofjwfo#I’m just being real#also the read more did not work as expected and the drawings were switched mdmddl#thank you hell site

(っ◔◡◔)っ 𝚆𝚎𝚕𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚢 𝚐𝚊𝚛𝚍𝚎𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝚠𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚜~!
You have reached the main blog of a twenty-something, avid enthusiast of biology, merriment, and several things fiction- Call me Scarlet! The homegrown flowers here bloom in many shades of passion, so feel free to take a stroll.
So yeah, this is mostwhat of a multi-fandom menagerie and dumping ground for the things which rattle around in my brain. It is mainly Queue-fed, and while my top interests are hella diverse and ever-fluctuating, this is the main group/area of media you can expect the most return engagement with from me in the foreseeable future:
• Dredge
• The Sly Cooper Game Series
• Rainworld
• Making Fiends
• Invader Zim
• Mouthwashing
• The lesser discussed works of David Firth
• Underrated Indie game creators the likes of KHS, Edmund McMillen, Scriptwelder, etc.
I no longer be continuing CFF or MMM one as a formal series, but instead just kind of speak my media brainworms when they choose to strangle me. Always looking for a new springboard to strike from, though 👀
Cont. on for some lists ‘n links.
Tags Guide, Sorta:
+ Scarlet talks about things - I release my worms, i.e. the takes. Pretty much what it says on the tin, a catch all for personal text posts ranging from long winded essays about Blorbo from my shows, infodumping about science, to just sharing something ponging around in my head lately. Usually try to reserve this tag for mid to long form original content.
+ Scarlet rambles about things - same deal, less filter, much more stream of consciousness. Includes short takes. Think of it like a bonus reel.
+ My Memes - self explanatory, ya goof.
+ Masterlists - if you showed up here off of, say, one of my media takes and wanted to know if there’s a highlight reel of mine dedicated to that specific show or series. Right now I’ve only got a couple but would be happy to pile together something else on request if there’s enough material.
Other bits of note:
* Following my interest trends, a lot of psychological and physical horror adjacent stuff is to be in-and-out expected here. Mostly on the level of stuff that wouldn’t get a show kicked off of a prime time children’s slot, but with lenient outliers. I’m also a massive bug enthusiast and it will bleed into the overall vibe and in the occasional real life photos i want to share. I will do my best to tag any potentially triggering content, but discretion be advised for the particularly sensitive. Lovecraftian terror fuel makes me go gaga and we’ll probably get along if it does you as well.
* Suggestions and friendly pokes about my blog content in general are welcomed in anons/asks, but not in my dms, thanks!
* This is user is critically and staunchly 🌈🍖
^ Only bothering to get this litmus test out of the way because I have noticed that some of the fandoms I am interested in are magnets for spicy discourse, and media discussion in today’s climate is a hotbed for this bandaid to get ripped off sooner or later. If you are someone who’s knee-jerk response to that emoji pairing and statement without any further elaboration was one of vitriol, extreme discomfort, and/or aggression, this is not a DNI; however, it is a request for good faith and clarification in whatever engagement you may or may not voluntarily choose with my stuff. It is a stern reminder of the old saying about assumptions. Something-something, makes an ass out of u and me. The less asses in the world, the less shit there will be all around.
* Not only am I quite the fanatic for others’ kinetic aesthetic, I’m something of an animator myself, sometimes! You can check out my Flipnote Studio projects over on my YouTube channel or as well on my art side blog (under-maintained at the current moment but looking to improve on that).

This past week (not including this weekend) was rather uneventful compared to the other week of this trip. A lot of us were battling sickness, which made it a little more difficult to keep up with the busy itinerary. However, the feria was fun. I’m not really the fair type of person (going on rides…eating a bunch of food etc.), but I loved the Nutella filled churros! They were so good that I got one every time I went to the fair… MJ and I simply went to the fair Friday just for a churro and then went back home :) School has been pretty good so far. Before starting, I was extremely nervous I wouldn’t be able to understand the professors or actively participate in the class. Despite my nerves, it’s not too bad for being 4ish hours of the day. I’m kind of glad we have school because I would be bored otherwise. The professors are really nice and have a unique teaching style that is a lot different than what I am used to. On Thursday we had an escape room all day at school. To me, I wouldn’t call it an escape room, but rather a series of puzzles regarding Spanish and the history/geography/culture of Spain and Córdoba. It definitely challenged my brain some… having to write poetry in Spanish or use new vocabulary while competing against the other team. This activity helped me acknowledge my improvement in Spanish usage. I haven’t particularly noticed it too much, but it has improved a lot through this trip. I’ve been able to use several different tenses in the same conversation and understand a lot more of what locals and my host mom are saying. Overall, it was a pretty good week. I did sleep a lot, which has been a common trend of this trip for me and I’m sad I missed an excursion. I plan to use one of my afternoons before we leave to walk to the Roman bridge and take some photos or at least walk in that area. It looked so so pretty! Finally, I went to the Baños Arabes on Friday. After arriving right on time to the wrong Arab baths of Córdoba, I made it to the Baños Arabes just a few minutes late, but I had a great time. I’m not one to just spend time relaxing, I prefer to keep myself busy doing things, but this was a nice change. I really enjoyed the sauna and the steam helped a lot with my lingering congestion. While I am unsure if this would be something I would do on a more regular basis, it was definitely an enjoyable experience for me. Below are a photo of a perrito and some cabellos I saw at Mercado Victoria… while pretty much entirely unrelated to the content of my post, I thought I’d include them for fun anyway

questions for muns ( accepting // @tnott )
3. Whose writing has impacted your writing style the most? (You can choose anyone! Famous writer or not.) — I hate that I’m about to say this, because these books are frankly not well written. But I think Warriors (yes, the cat books) shaped my writing style a lot more than I care to admit. They have a very plain writing style that doesn’t use that much flowery language in favor of just getting to the point, there’s generally a greater focus on action and dialogue than vivid description, and they really, really overuse the em dash... yeah. It me.
4. Which muse of yours is your all time favorite? If you stopped writing them: why? — This has to be Reg. I’m coming up on seven years of writing him, and he’s seen by far the most development of any characters I’ve played. I have multiple extended verses with him with partners that I absolutely adore, and it’s just so easy to slip into his shoes for a bit. Other muses I sometimes have to fight to find their voices, but never for him. His voice is just there. Lately I haven’t been playing him on Tumblr as much, due to generally slower/less active partners (and Clark’s muse being so ridiculously high rn), so he’s been restricted to Discord. But I do adore him, very much, so if any of you have Star Trek AUs (or others, he’s got a bunch), please feel free to go bother the broccoli boy.
6. Is roleplaying the only writing-based hobby you have, or are there other things you like to write? — I occasionally write fanfic, but it’s not a common thing. I prefer the collaborative aspect of roleplay. If I’m just writing for myself, I tend to lose inspiration after a while, but having another person to bounce off of helps keep my energy and excitement up long-term.
7. Describe your favorite relationship dynamic. (Can be any kind, platonic, romantic, familial, antagonistic, etc.) — On this blog? I absolutely adore writing Dad Clark. Whether it’s with his literal children, or just the eighteenth angsty teenager he’s decide to forcibly mentor, every single one of them is just so fun for me. S&L focusing so heavily on Clark as a dad was a large part of why I fell in love with the character again and made this blog, so naturally it’s factored into things here pretty heavily.
12. What roleplay trends do you remember from the year you started tumblr RP? How did you feel about those trends? — I don’t know what year it was, but there was briefly a promo trend where you would post a simple row of icons and then basically write a pitch for your blog, describing your character almost like you were a salesman, trying to entice interested people to follow you. And I absolutely loved it because it didn’t require any fancy graphics, just a couple icons that you likely already had. Instead it relied solely on your writing and how interesting your character was. That one should absolutely make a comeback.
13. What themes/motifs do you hope other people notice most about your character? — I’m not really sure what I want other people to notice, I can only say the ones I try to lean into. The main one being that Clark is just a regular guy before he’s Superman. He’s just a dorky farmboy who happens to have god powers, and he’s doing his best to balance that.
14. Which roleplay community has been your favorite to write in? — Overall, I’ve had the best experiences in the Trek RPC. I’ve also had the worst experiences in the Trek RPC but that’s besides the point.

GENFX: UNLOCK YOUTHFUL ENERGY TODAY! 🚀
Hey there!
Are you tired of looking in the mirror and seeing signs of ageing or hair loss?
I get it. It’s frustrating to feel like your hair is thinning while everyone else seems to have a full head of luscious locks.
That’s where GenFX comes into play. This isn’t just another supplement; it claims to tackle those pesky concerns head-on.
In this GenFX review, I’ll break down everything you need to know, including GenFX ingredients that power this formula and the best places on where to buy GenFX.
Let’s jump straight into what makes this product stand out!
👉 BUY GENFX FOR YOUTHFUL VITALITY
Genfx Review
Let’s talk about something that’s been on a lot of minds lately: aging.
I get it.
You look in the mirror and wonder where those youthful days went.
Wrinkles, sagging skin, and energy levels that just don’t cut it anymore.
What if I told you there’s a product that might help turn back the clock?
That’s where GenFX comes into play.
What Are People Saying About GenFX?
When I first heard about GenFX, I was sceptical.
I mean, who wouldn’t be?
But then I started digging into some real-life genfx reviews from users who gave it a shot.
Here’s what stood out:
Mary, 45: “I’ve been using GenFX for three months now, and the difference is incredible! My skin feels tighter, and my energy is through the roof.”
John, 50: “At first, I didn’t notice much. But after about four weeks, my friends commented on how much younger I looked!”
Lisa, 38: “Not only did my wrinkles soften up a bit, but I also felt more motivated to hit the gym again.”
These testimonials show how varied the experiences can be but also highlight common themes: increased energy and improved skin elasticity.
The Anti-Aging Benefits of GenFX
So what makes this product tick?
The magic lies in its formulation aimed at boosting human growth hormone (HGH) levels naturally.
As we age, our HGH production drops significantly. This decline can lead to all sorts of unwanted changes in our bodies.
With genfx anti aging, you’re looking at benefits like:
Improved muscle tone
Enhanced metabolism
Better sleep quality
Increased libido
It’s not just about looking younger; it’s about feeling better overall.
How Does GenFX Compare to Other Products?
A question that often pops up is: How does genfx vs genf20 plus stack up?
Both products aim to boost HGH levels but have different approaches and formulations.
From what I've seen in user feedback:
GenFX tends to focus more on natural ingredients.
Users report quicker results with GenFX compared to some other options.
The price point for GenFX often seems more appealing for regular users.
Ultimately, your choice may depend on personal preferences regarding ingredients or specific health goals.
What Do Users Think About HGH Supplements?
The buzz around genfx hgh reviews highlights an interesting trend among those seeking anti-aging solutions.

Genfx Ingredients
Let’s get straight to it.
You want to know what’s in GenFX, right?
You’re not alone.
Many people are curious about the genfx ingredients because they want to make sure they’re putting something good into their bodies.
So, let’s break it down.
What Makes Up GenFX?
GenFX is marketed as a human growth hormone (HGH) releaser.
But what does that mean?
It means the ingredients are designed to help your body naturally stimulate HGH production.
Here’s a quick look at some of the key ingredients:
L-Arginine: This amino acid plays a role in protein synthesis. It helps improve blood flow and may enhance exercise performance.
L-Glutamine: Another amino acid that supports muscle recovery and immune function. It’s crucial for anyone serious about fitness.
L-Glycine: Known for its calming effects, glycine can help improve sleep quality. Better sleep means better recovery.
L-Lysine: This one’s important for collagen production and overall skin health. Who doesn’t want that?
GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid): A neurotransmitter that may promote relaxation and reduce stress levels. Less stress equals more gains, right?
Vitamin B6: Essential for energy metabolism and brain health. You need this if you want to keep your mind sharp as you age.
These ingredients work together like a well-oiled machine.
They aim to boost your body's natural HGH levels without any synthetic hormones involved.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room—genfx hgh releaser side effects.
When you're considering any supplement, it's smart to think about potential downsides.
While many users report positive experiences with GenFX, some have mentioned mild side effects such as:
Slight digestive discomfort
Changes in sleep patterns
Occasional headaches
Most of these seem pretty manageable compared to other supplements out there.
And hey, everyone reacts differently!
If you're sensitive or have specific health concerns, consult with a healthcare provider before jumping on board.
Real Stories from Real Users
I love hearing how products like GenFX impact people's lives.
Take Sarah, 42 years old:
“I started taking GenFX about three months ago. I feel more energetic during my workouts and even noticed my skin looking better! I was skeptical at first but now I'm convinced.”
Then there's Mike, 35 years old:
“After using GenFX for six weeks, I’ve seen improvements in my recovery time after workouts. The best part? No weird side effects!”
These testimonials show how effective these ingredients can be when combined properly.
Why Choose GenFX Over Other Options?
With so many options available today, why should you consider GenFX?
The answer lies in its ingredient profile and formulation philosophy.
Unlike some competitors who rely heavily on synthetic compounds or fillers,
GenFX focuses on natural components that support your body’s own processes.
This isn’t just another supplement; it’s designed with thoughtfulness around what we actually need as we age.

Vignette 8 - I really don’t want today to end
Mio Side.
Start | Back | Forward
Mio glanced at her hair and makeup in the mirror. She felt pretty confident! This was definitely good enough for filming. She turned to her mom and gave her a hug.
Hikaru: “You’re heading out?”
Mio grabbed her bag and turned to her dad.
Mio: “Yeah! I don’t want to be late!”
Hikaru crossed the room giving her a small amount of money.
Hikaru: “Here, in case you need to treat them to lunch or anything.”
Mio grinned. She gave her dad a quick hug. As she dashed out her father turned to her mother.
Hikaru: “You didn’t need to make her that cute, you know?!”
Miharu chuckled lightly.
Miharu: “Isn’t it good? She’s been so depressed lately!”
Mio dashed down the street and quickly made her way to the train station. She had her hair styled in a side ponytail. She had a bit more makeup than usual. She was wearing a sporty crop top and some high waisted jogging pants. Something comfortable that wouldn’t get in the way of movement but that she didn’t mind being seen in!
She clenched her fist with a confident smile. She wasn’t confident in much but Mio was fairly positive she was cute.
She made her way over to the meeting point in town. Sy and Lobat were already waiting nearby. Leiden was wearing a collared shirt with an oversized cardigan over it. He had a messenger bag slung over one shoulder. Sy was wearing a hoodie with jeans and an expensive pair of headphones around his neck.
Mio: “Oh! Casual clothes! You two look cool!”
Sy’s expression turned confident and preening.
Sy: “I’ve been buying new clothes since my goal is to get a girlfriend this year. I’d say that my research is paying off..”
Mio grinned. She turned to Leiden.
Mio: “Somehow I thought you were the type to wear your uniform even outside of school.”
Lobat: “.... Your opinion of me is pretty low, huh..?”
Sy: “Eh..? But we just bou-”
Lobat shot him a deadly glare which shut him up. Lobat looked back to Mio. He massaged his neck somewhat as he glanced away. Mio tilted her head somewhat as she walked over to him.
Mio: “Hmm? Hmm? Got something to say?”
Lobat: “... I was just thinking that you’re pretty uhh.. stylish. I guess.”
Mio grinned confidently.
Mio: “Thank you for noticing!”
Mio planted her hands on her hips, turning away and looking around.
Mio: “So let’s get star-”
However her enthusiastic battlecry was interrupted by a powerful yawn.
Lobat: “Tired…?”
Mio: “Hahah.. Yeah. I was excited last night for this!”
Lobat glanced her over, leaning in a bit closer.
Lobat: “You don’t look tired.”
Mio bounced back two steps from him.
Mio: “Y-You can hide a lot with makeup, my friend..”
The trio stayed busy for the next two hours, rushing around, getting shots whenever there weren’t many people around, and then reviewing the footage. Lobat took time to explain all the shot compositions, framings, and the more mechanical aspects of using the camera. Mio diligently switched between performer and director, constantly switching back between getting shots and then reviewing them and going over as much as Lobat was willing to explain.
Sy sat down nearby working on his remix. Occasionally he’d help Lobat to adjust the camera or to manage the timing on shots. Overall the actual shoot went fairly uneventfully. Once they were done they paused to load all the footage onto Lobat’s computer. He quickly threw the shots in order and added Sy’s sample version of the remix.
Mio watched it. Even in this rough state she could already tell it was beyond anything she’d made so far. She picked Lobat’s brain about every detail of the editing. Sy helped with the audio mix and explained why and how he was making the decisions he was.
Mio had a big satisfied smile as she leaned back against the bench.
Lobat: “I’ll get the final edit done tonight or tomorrow morning and send it over right after.”
Mio: “You don’t need to rush!”
Lobat: “Trends are time sensitive. Even if this is a new version, we should still try to move quickly.”
Mio: “Well.. thanks.”
Sy sighed.
Sy: “I gotta dip. I’m meeting some guys from my class. We’re going bowling with some girls from Mrs. Marcedia’s room.”
Lobat nodded. Mio flashed him a big smile.
Mio: “You got this, Sy!”
Sy looked genuinely moved by this simple act, to the point Mio felt a little bad for him. He turned and rushed off.
Lobat closed his laptop.
Lobat: “We can head back now, if you’re ready?”
Mio nodded and then remembered the money her dad had given her.
Mio: “Ah! We can have lunch first! It’ll be my treat!”
Lobat massaged his neck somewhat. He looked a little uncomfortable. Mio suddenly felt embarrassed. Why had she just shot her mouth off?!
Mio: “Ah.. uh.. Maybe eating out with an underclassman is a little embarrassing..”
Lobat: “Ah! No! It’s not that.. Uh. I mean we’re clubmates, right? So it’s not unusual. We used to do it all the time last year. I was just thinking that I should pay for my own. I feel a bit bad taking money from someone younger.”
Mio laughed.
Mio: “It’s fine! My dad sent it to treat the club members who were helping me out!”
Lobat nodded and acquiesced reluctantly.
Lobat: “Well, in that case, you should at least pick the spot.”
They ended up grabbing food at a food truck on the way back to the train station. The walk home was relatively quiet. A bit of idle banter about the food being good. Occasionally Mio would point out a place she knew or wanted to visit later. Lobat listened intently, even if he didn’t say much in response.
They arrived at the train station and boarded the train. Mio sat down next to Lobat. Their homes were in the same direction but Lobat’s was a little further. The rhythmic sound of the train filled her ears. What felt like moments later she felt a gentle nudge on her shoulder. She blinked and then sat up straight.
Mio: “Eh?! I fell asleep?”
Lobat grabbed her hand and helped her up off the chair. He grabbed her bag and practically dragged her off the train just as it was about to depart.
Mio: “Eh? Huh? This is my stop? Ah! I’m so sorry Lobat!”
Lobat let go of her hand with a quickness as he held out her bag for her. Mio took her bag and looked up to him.
Mio: “Y-You can hop on the next train.”
Lobat sighed.
Lobat: “I.. live about two stops from here. The direction you’re headed is on the way. I’ll go with you.”
Mio: “No no! That’s not necessary!”
Lobat planted his hand on his hip.
Lobat: “You’re exhausted… If something happened after I left I’d feel pretty bad.”
Mio grinned and pulled up her phone.
Mio: “I’ll call my mom to come meet me. You should go home! I appreciate you helping me get off in time, though!”
Lobat looked a bit uncertain but shrugged.
Lobat: “I’ll wait here until your mom arrives. It’s not like I’m doing anything else.”
He sat down on the bench and Mio called her mom to come pick her up. She sat down next to Leiden.
Mio: “I can’t believe I fell asleep, that’s so embarrassing.”
Lobat: “It’s not…”
Mio: “Man.. I really don’t want today to end..”

Breakpoint
played on 2023-08-01
Delightful, absolutely inspired. I love how Filet Group manages to blow me away with everything they make. When I played Yo Noid 2 back in the day, I realized there was something about that game, some spark that goes beyond the surface level shitpost. This team has a shine of inspiration like I've never seen before. It touches my heart and inspires me greatly.
About the actual game: I've said it once and ill say it again, I LOVE PERSPECTIVE FOCUSED GAMEPLAY. As a mechanic typically seen in puzzle games like monument valley and FEZ it is super interesting seeing it recontextualized in a 3d platformer setting. The sound design is EXCCELENT. The character design courtesy of Harrison Bright (https://twitter.com/HarrisonHBright) who is quickly becoming my favorite character designer is superb as always.
Overall my strongest recommendation on this journey so far. It wont take you more than 20 minutes. An interesting tidbit, on the kickstarter Page for The Big Catch, the team lists FEZ and Shadow of The Colossus as two examples of their inspirations. The FEZ influence in Breakpoint is easy to spot, and a bridge resembling the iconic bridge from Shadow of The Colossus makes an appearance. the game was released in 2017, so that just goes to show me how deep rooted these inspirations really are if they make their way into so much of these wonderful developers work and I have nothing but respect for that.
A trend I’ve noticed with indie games lately is how derivative they can be. A lot of indie devs try to make their own version of a series that already exists but forget the part of actually making it their own. So you end up with a lot of content that doesn't really add anything to the greater gaming landscape. I understand a lot of devs want to revive their favorite dead franchises and hell i don't even think all of them are bad. aside from The Big Catch, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is my most anticipated title because I love jet set radio, but I recognize that Team Reptile has injected enough of their own ideas and innovation to make their game stand apart. All this to say, this is 100% NOT a problem with Filet Group’s games. They bring such a creative inspiring energy with everything they make and I love their work for it. Breakpoint is wonderful, I am BEYOND excited to play The Big Catch whenever its ready, and I wish nothing but the best for these incredible, forever talented developers.
also Harrison if you ever read this please make a portfolio I want to see ALL of your work. :)

Having finally clocked the RE4 remake, I have a compulsion to speak my thoughts into the void. This is basically just going to be a bullet point comparison of certain aspects of the game and which version I personally feel did better.
But first! Overall I’m very happy with the remake! I think it did a really good job at maintaining the spirit of the original, even if they did cut out quite a few things that made it so beloved, they added in some aspects of their own that were fantastic. They also honoured the original in little ways that were wonderful. Now onto…
- The gameplay;
The original’s was revolutionary, and it’s no surprise that 18 years later the remake’s are overall better. Tank controls are no problem for me so I don’t particularly care about it being updated to something more modern. What really stands out is the knife being more heavily involved to the point you can do stealth kills and parries. That was a brilliant addition.
- The areas;
In summary of quality, the village is better, the castle is about the same, and the island isn’t as good. The last was trimmed down significantly (they cut the U-3 boss fight!) and veteran players can really feel it. The sections with the regeneradors weren’t as scary either when they used to be the most terrifying aspect of the game. At this point in time I can’t pinpoint why, by the island section left me with a vague feeling of dissatisfaction, which is a problem when it’s the final part of the game and there’s nowhere to improve because you’re at the end.
- The dialogue;
Come on, the original wins hands down. But I love that they kept Leon’s personality so that he came up with some new campy dialogue in the same vein.
- The shooting gallery!
Oh my god, it’s just so amazing! It was such a small, fun, totally out of place side game in the original, and they took it to 11 in the remake! It’s so insanely fun AND we get to hear more Merchant lines.
- The heroes’ characterisation;
Leon is *hand-wave*. I admittedly prefer his original personality where he was more cool-headed and snarky, but I like how they did him in the remake as well. With how much more serious the remake was, I don’t think his original characterisation would’ve worked anyway.
Glad we got the ending scene with Ada in the helicopter, because otherwise I’m very let down. She gets less scenes and has less of a presence in this one. It’s like they have her there because she was in the original, not because they wanted her there. It’s a concerning trend I’ve noticed RE doing lately regarding her character.
Ashley is about the same. I know most people are happy with her “improved” characterisation, but really she was just as good in the original. The only difference is that she didn’t have dialogue saying how she wouldn’t run away and that she felt good about helping Leon every second area. In fact I found her characterisation a bit annoying in the remake because it felt like they put a big flashing sign over her head saying, “Look at how much tougher she is this time!” when she did all the same things in the original.
Luisss. So much better. He was criminally underused in the original and deserved so much more screen time. I still prefer his original character design, but I can’t deny his jacket in the remake is fly as hell (I want to own it). The voice actor and mo-cap actor did a fantastic job and gave him so much emotion. Him being revealed to be a repentant Umbrella scientist made so much sense and fit in perfectly.
Mike. What the fuck accent was he supposed to have?
Not sure if he’s a hero or not, but the Merchant’s oh-so slight expanded characterisation was very welcome. He’s been a fan fave for ages, he deserves more moments!
- The villains’ characterisation;
Saddler isn’t as good. I like how he leans into the religion aspects more, but it’s at the cost of his controlling bastard tendencies which made him such a great villain originally. Also, with him not hacking Leon’s comm device we lose a ton of his best moments. I also don’t like the vague implication he was under control by the plagas. He was better when he was fully in control.
Mendez only a got a minor expansion in showing how overly religious he was, and that was all that was needed.
Fitting with the feel of the castle section overall, Salazar is about the same in quality. I didn’t feel like they improved on him, but I also didn’t feel like they made him worse. The brief moments where he and Leon got up in each other’s faces were standouts per normal and they should’ve had way more interactions. His boss fight was a lot more challenging, which is great, and music that plays during was phenomenal.
Krauser. This is one where I can’t decide which version I like more. On one hand, I prefer his original manner of speaking which really shows off how level-headed he is and the odd moments of almost intimate dialogue he sends Leon’s way during fights. I really dislike how condescending he is towards Leon in the remake, whereas part of his appeal originally was that he saw him on equal footing with himself and treated him as a serious threat. At the same time, the remake gives him much more backstory and talks about Operation Javier in a lot more detail. His section ended up being the standout for me on the island in remake because of this and his overhauled interactions with Leon that really showed how highly they once regarded one another. Also, not related to his characterisation and not to be rude to the new VA, his original baritone voice was way better.
I have a few other thoughts, but when someone asks me what I think of the game, these are the things at the front of my mind.
In the end the remake did what I’d wanted, gave me two fantastic versions of the same game. It didn’t make the original feel aged at all, and in fact it’s made me want to go back and play it again.

Recent Mastodon vibes
There is a lot being written about Mastodon lately. And it isn’t just being published on Mastodon. Both Time and Wired have published about Mastodon and its creator within the last week.
I wanted to post my current thoughts about the platform to capture the moment. Things are changing rapidly. A lot of things are in flux. A huge number of people and organizations are giving Mastodon – and a slew of other platforms – a try in the wake of Twitter’s transition to Elon Musk’s ownership. I think this is a good thing overall but I’m unsure if this is a good thing for the Mastodon community of users that has created such a wonderful vibe.
Jeremy Keith:
What I’m really struck by is the vibe.
In a nutshell, I’m loving it! It feels …nice.
I was fully expecting Mastodon to be full of meta-discussions about Mastodon, but in the past few weeks I’ve enjoyed people posting about stone circles, astronomy, and—obviously—cats and dogs.
I’ve been using Mastodon for a few years and I’ve found the same thing as Jeremy; there are a lot of really smart people using Mastodon in a variety of fields. And the platform sort of urges people to share more detailed posts than Twitter did. The surge of sign ups has certainly added so many great voices. But a lot of them are bringing to Mastodon what they brought to Twitter – a very unwelcome vibe. At least, unwelcome by me.
Over the last week or two, as millions have signed up to Mastodon, I’m starting to notice a few trends that I really hope go away soon. Two I’m hopeful will go away, one I’m not so sure. They are navel gazing posts, boosts, and vitriol spewed at different factions of people. You know, the types of posts Twitter was known for.
Let’s look at each of these.
The navel gazing posts about Mastodon are inevitable. So many new people signing on and veteran users, like me, wanting to let the new people know about certain things. How things work, what they should try, etc. I think that will die down as more people become familiar with Mastodon. Or, as has happened with surges in the past, a huge percentage of people end up leaving because they forgot how angry they are at Musk and they miss their followers on Twitter.
Boosts! Or, reblogs. To help make people aware of new accounts that have been created or great content that exists across the fediverse people have been boosting posts far more than I’ve ever seen over the last few years. In fact, I’d say the vast majority of my following feed is boosted posts from accounts I do not follow. Many are very welcomed because it exposes me to accounts and content I may have never seen otherwise. But I sure do hope it tapers soon. Fortunately, Mastodon has a mute feature specifically for reblogs. So I can mute an offender without needing to unfollow.
The last class of posts is what really has me worried. As Jeremy pointed out, the vibe of Mastodon has been very cool, chill, friendly, for a long time. For the types of accounts I follow it almost felt like belonging to a maker space. But lately my Explore page on Mastodon has been filled with the exact same types of posts that get engagement on Twitter – those that are filled with politics and hate. People taking shots at other groups of people just to get reblogs and favorites.
So I’ve gone from checking Explore daily to completely ignoring it.
The Mastodon community, across many instances, have worked hard to curate an experience that is welcoming and fun. I think to maintain that many of us will have to be liberal in our blocks and mutes.

Why I think Mike might Die in the first episode of season 5 (Temporarily and probably just wind up in a coma)
This idea has invaded my mind and so I thought I could make a post about it. In episode eight of season four Will calls Mike “the heart” directly after we have a scene of El waking up from her heart stopping and using her powers. Right after the van scene we flash to El being told about her coma from years prior.
In episode nine Will calls Mike the heart again and Max’s heart stops for what we later learn is a minute. One of the last things we hear before El’s declaration that Max isn’t leaving is Mike’s voice. Which is something. Like the association of Mike and hearts, having two main characters have their hearts stop while going back and forth between scenes of Mike? Feels a little sus.
(Okay but like why is Mike in frame for these scenes? It makes sense with El and Lucas because of their involvement, but Mike? Plus the repeated references to him as the heart)
Anyway, the starcourt trio. I mentioned prior that there’s a bit of consistency between some of the events that occur in season four with the trios botched escape from Billy. Things such as Max getting knocked out (in a coma, lost) and El being carried towards the mindflayer by Billy, Max’s brother (piggyback). Of the trio, two have faced Vecna.
Mike was knocked out after Max. I believe the key is in the order we see them wake-up. El wakes up first and her heart stops in episode eight which would be the start of the domino effect. Max wakes up after her. Her heart stops the episode after. If the trend keeps up Mike’s heart will stop in episode one of season five.
In the Hellfire game episode one of season four Mike’s character gets zeroed out (thanks to everyone who answered that btw) and would need to be revived in order to enter the game again. This I believe foreshadows Mike in season five, but it also lends itself to foreshadowing Max’s fate in the second volume, starting at the season two final Mike and Max seem to share their supernatural experiences until Mike is literally out of state plus I’ve noticed some things that happen to Mike happen to Max and vice-versa.
They also seem to end up in the same place. Like when the kids search for dart they end up searching in the same area, in the season two final Mike ends up with the other kids minus Will and El, and finally in starcourt they are split in the same trio. In season four Mike wasn’t there for the danger that befell Hawkins, so he remained relatively safe, for now.
We’ve already deduced that Mike is constantly running out of time in the beginning of every season. In season one it was the DnD game, in season two he almost missed the time the party agreed to hangout at the arcade, in season three Mike is late to meeting Lucas, Max, and Will for the movies, in season four Mike is almost late to school. Overall, literally every season starts with Mike running out of time so why would season five be any different.
Let’s not forget the fact that Vecna waited him out before he started his strike against Hawkins. Mike had a curfew the first night of the attack (it was at nine pm sharp which was around the same time the kids performed the sauna test on Billy. I just felt the need to point that out). I doubt Vecna wouldn’t come for him the moment it was reasonable. (I just realized something and now I’m worried Mike was right on time this season).
Anyway, sidetrack time because I deserve to elaborate that point. Vecna has a thing with two-days which is what I personally believe is happening with the two-day time skip. If we start right at the action, I don’t think it’s a stretch to believe that Vecna might attack in the first episode of next season.
The two-day thing is in reference to Barb’s death occurring two-days after Will’s disappearance, and Max’s escape halting Vecna’s plans because he only returns to attack two-days later. Outside of these cases Vecna attacks pretty back-to-back. This might be why Nancy was taken. In combination to luring Max out he also could not afford to skip a day least he delays his plans even more than they already have been. So I think there’s potential in Mike being lured into giving himself up to Vecna and well sometimes Mike is a very easy target especially when it comes to his friends.

Something I’ve noticed lately that’s happened to a few of my friends in a non-Pokemon fandom has made me wonder a bit about an overall trend I’ve seen on this website. Note that this isn’t happening to me - it’s happening to some friends of mine, and I’ve seen it in other places so I think this might help some people.
Asks are great! People generally love getting them, unless they state otherwise! But I’ve noticed sometimes people send a bunch without waiting for a reply to the first one, and you can’t really have a conversation like that - rapid-firing questions at someone isn’t a chat, after all, and you probably should wait for a answer. So here’s a quick guide to sending asks on this godforsaken website, since it’s not like a chat client where people will see it and respond right away:
1. Unless you run out of space in the ask box and have to finish your question, send one ask at a time.
This helps the person you’re asking because then they don’t get overwhelmed.
2. Wait for them to answer your first ask before sending the next one - or better yet, reblog or reply to the answer!
It’s not easy to have a conversation via asks. It can get disjointed, and if you keep sending a bunch of asks, the person you’re asking is going to get overwhelmed and might not answer at all! Just like in person, it’s important to take turns in a conversation.
3. If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face, it’s probably not a good ask to send.
No, I’m not talking about anon hate, although that’s juvenile too. I’m talking about people who disclose weirdly sexual things on anon to strangers. Yes, you may both like the same character, but a stranger probably doesn’t want to hear about your sexual fantasies about them, just like they wouldn’t want you to tell them that in person at a convention, or on the street.
Hopefully this helps someone interact more effectively on Tumblr instead of putting people off with stuff in their inbox! Again, this isn’t about anyone sending me asks, so don’t worry if you see my original post - it’s definitely NOT about you, so you’re good!

Could you repeat the question?
pairing: Taehyung x reader, oc x Yeonjun (TXT)
premise: a joint interview with your group, BTS, and TXT two months after you met your soulmate.
word count: 2k
[2/2] continuation of Can’t Keep My Hands To Myself
requested by anon - a picture of your request will be at the bottom of the post!
------------------------------------------
“Please don’t tell them.”
“Me? Why would I say anything?”
“You...you have that look.”
Yeonjun whirls around to face Taehyung, who just entered the room. “Do I have a look?”
Taehyung winks at you in greeting, something that nearly makes you swoon and your group members snicker.
“A look?” He frowns for a moment before giving his dongsaeng a pitiful smile. “Oh yeah, you do. Definitely.” Taehyung smiles at Jiwoo, my band member who is busy sending death glares at her soulmate. “He’s gonna spill it.”
Yeonjun jumps up from his seat at the same time Taehyung settles down beside you, placing his arm on the back of the couch and brushing your hair off to the side. It’s enough to make goosebumps rise on your skin, which of course he notices.
Oh, how you’d like to wipe that knowing little smirk off his face right now.
“I can’t believe this! I’m not going to say a thing-”
“Yeonjun, and I’m saying this with love, if you say a single thing about it, I will personally unplug your refrigerator when you least expect it.”
Your attention is pulled away when you feel Taehyung leaning in to whisper something in your ear. “So, do we know what they’re arguing about?”
You can’t help but giggle. “Nope. Jiwoo won’t say anything.”
“Neither will Yeonjun.”
The smitten couple have been teasingly arguing for the entirety of the morning, leaving the rest of us in complete and utter confusion.
Oh well, I suppose it’ll help make the broadcast a bit more exciting.
It’s been two months since Jiwoo and I first *ahem* teleported to our soulmates at the MAMA awards. Or rather, since I landed in Taehyung’s lap and Jiwoo was nearly knocked unconscious when Yeonjun was thrown into her at full force. Of course, Jiwoo claims that it was horribly embarrassing, to which I’m always quick to say that she should feel lucky that at least she didn’t end up in a grown man’s lap. For all to see, no less.
Ari, our other group member, just rolls her eyes and tells us that beggars can’t be choosers.
Yeah, whatever that means.
The past two months have been busy, with hardly enough time to spend with my soulmate. Between the busy schedules and BTS and TXT and our own schedule, we’ve had to settle for late-night FaceTimes and the occasional lunch at the Bighit building. I’ve become really good at sneaking in and out of that building in broad daylight - so far I have yet to be discovered.
Today, however, is an important one. It’s our first official schedule together as soulmates. Naturally, all three groups have come together for the interview/variety show.
“Alright, time to head on!” A manager shouts into the room, and suddenly there’s a flurry of movement as we all head toward the door. “I need all the soulmates to stick to their own groups, ok? We don’t want to be causing a riot today.”
Right. With a gloomy expression, Taehyung parts from me to head back to his members. Jiwoo and I glue ourselves to Ari’s side, much to her chagrin. “Ready?”
Both you and Jiwoo respond simultaneously. “Nope.”
Ari just sighs, feigning annoyance. Together, the three of you await your cue as one by one, your groups are introduced.
TXT goes first, the hosts making a big deal out of swooning over Soobin who now has a cult of his own due to his MC abilities. They make a show of handing the microphone over to him, begging him to take it over from there. He politely declines, while the rest of the boys bicker and chat in the background.
Then your group is called out, and you find yourself walking out before a huge crowd. You didn’t realize that many people could fit in this building, but here they are. And all of them are here for the same reason: to get a look at the soulmate couples that have newly formed.
And that have been trending on Twitter and Tumblr for two solid months, breaking all kinds of records.
As BTS is introduced with an almost reverent tone, you understand why you’ve been trending for so long.
It has a lot to do with one of the men walking out right now, smiling at the crowd and waving, graciously bowing his way across the stage.
Taehyung wears a gray casual suit which has him looking like he just stepped off a photoshoot. Hair perfectly styled and eyes glowing with adoration for the fans that roar and wave, he commands the entire room with a single raise of his eyebrows.
Your soulmate, ladies and gentlemen.
Today is the day where you prove to the rest of the world how much of a perfect match you are for this man. The notion is terrifying.
“Wow!” The host, a jovial man named Donghyun shouts out, exaggerating how amazed he is by the crowd’s reaction to all three groups sharing the same stage. Indeed, it’s a rare sight. “Ok! Should we get started?”
After a few minutes of more introductions, a few cursory questions (he asks Yeonjun what he’s been up to recently and you’re pretty sure Jiwoo manages to telepathically threaten him, because he chooses the most vague answer imaginable), and instructions on how to begin the next activities, you’re off to the races.
Painting races, that it.
Donning a frock and eyeing the empty canvas before you, you glare at your opponent across the way. Taehyung, to his credit, refrains from winking at you. He thinks you’re adorable when you’re flustered, but now’s not the time.
“Taehyung-ssi!”
Taehyung blinks up at Donghyun. “Yes?”
“Are you going to let your soulmate win?”
The game is simple: paint the listed object with as much detail as possible in a sixty second period. The others will have to guess what it is.
Taehyung pouts his lips a bit, glancing over at you with a glint in his eye. “I’ll have to see, I think.”
Donghyun chuckles into the mic, turning to face you. “What about you? If Taehyung-ssi falls behind, will you help him win?”
You wiggle your eyebrows at your soulmate, heart soaring when he delivers a boxy grin. “Oh, of course not. I came to compete, not hold hands.”
The crowd bursts out laughing, and someone yells out, “I’ll hold his hand for you!”
You all dissolve into a fit of laughter at that, your cheeks blushing madly. “Yeah, thanks for the offer,” you say between giggles. Readying your paint brush, you wait for the signal.
You’ve been given the word ‘Iceland’, which you figure shouldn’t be too hard.
What you failed to account for was the fact that you’re perhaps the worst painter you know. What should look like a globe looks like a basketball and what should be a cube of ice instead looks like nothing more than a cardboard box.
In the end, you’re pretty sure you laugh more than you paint. Your team members, consisting of a mix from both teams, look utterly confused at the end product. Eventually it’s Jin - who happens to be on Taehyung’s team - that accidentally calls out the answer.
The rest of the games pass by in a blur of laughter and covert glances toward Taehyung. He always manages to find a way to make you laugh, even though he remains on the other side of the stage for the most part. You don’t miss all of the fans that look at him dreamily, and you can only hope that they’re happy with your overall performance today.
At the end, you all squeeze onto a couple of couches. Donghyun makes a fuss over allowing the soulmates to sit together, and you can’t hide your smile as a beet-red Yeonjun sidles down to the couch to sit beside Jiwoo, placing his hands in his lap and trying not to do anything that will go viral.
Taehyung sits on your right, crossing his arms in a way that pulls on his suit jacket enough to expose the outline of his biceps. You catch your eyes wandering, snapping your attention back to the front where Donghyun reads some questions off of a card.
“I believe that this was the first time soulmates have met while performing at MAMA, is that correct? What were your first thoughts when you suddenly found yourselves face to face with your soulmate?”
The four of you that now have all the attention riding on your shoulders look to each other for help. Finally, with a racing heart, you answer first.
“I think the obvious answer is that I was shocked,” you smile as knowing chuckles ripple through the room. “But I was also really grateful, because Taehyung was so kind and understanding. The staff were very professional and helped us quickly. Overall, I really can’t imagine it having happened in any other way.”
There’s a few ooh’s and aww’s that greet your ears, but you look down at your lap as you blush. Taehyung slightly nudges your knee with his own, and in that simple movement you feel the comfort that he’s trying to give you.
“I’d actually been talking to Jiminie earlier about soulmates,” Taehyung pipes up.
“Oh, yeah! That’s right!” Jimin says, giving his friend a slap on the shoulder. “What are the odds?”
Taehyung flashes a shy smile. “I told him that I felt like I was ready. It can be strangely lonely sometimes, and there are times when I just felt like I was missing something. Now, all I have to do is pick up my phone and my missing piece is on the other side, ready to talk with me.”
Now people are really swooning, you included. You dare to peek over at your soulmate, heart nearly melting when you see that his shy smile is paired with pink cheeks. You wish that you could snuggle up to him right now, but that would definitely not end well. Instead, you lightly nudge his knee with your own, returning the little slice of comfort he provided you earlier.
“And you two?” Dongyun asks after wiping fake tears away from his eyes.
Yeonjun chews on his bottom lip, Jiwoo too lost in thought to notice that he has that look again.
“I, er...” Yeonjun begins, squirming a little in his seat. “I was...really happy.”
Donghyun urges Yeonjun to continue. “Of course you were! What about finding Jiwoo made you so happy?”
Jiwoo looks up in horror, but it’s too late. Yeonjun has already opened his mouth and begun to speak.
“I was so happy because the first thing she said to me was that she thought I was so hot.”
Radio silence.
And then-
“Oh-ho!! Yeonjunnie you’re so dead!” Hueningkai laughs, and soon everyone follows suit. Even Donghyun has to throw his hand over his mouth to keep himself from snorting with laughter.
Jiwoo looks at Yeonjun, who completely avoids her gaze as he stares unblinking at the floor. Then, quietly enough for nobody to hear except for you who sits beside her, she whispers, “Say goodbye to all the perishable items in your fridge.”
In the chaos that ensues, Taehyung discreetly traces circles against your arm and mumbles, “Why didn’t you say that to me when we first met?”
You smack his shoulder. “I should be asking you the same thing!”
Just before everything calms down again, Taehyung leans over to grab the abandoned canvas on the ground. Taking the still-wet paint and dipping his finger into it, he draws something out on it. Nudging you to get your attention, he flashes the canvas for you to see, hiding it from the cameras.
It’s hard to keep a neutral expression as you see his handiwork. It’s just six words, but they’re enough to have your entire face flushed a moment later.
I think you’re hotter than Yeonjun ;)
Stifling a laugh, you roll your eyes. “I hope you know I’m keeping that,” you mumble. Taehyung grins.
“Great. We’ll get it framed.”
A few days later, you do. It hangs in the front room of your apartment, for all to see. And for Jiwoo to loathe, as it serves as a constant reminder of her embarrassing first words to her soulmate.
Oh well. In the words of Ari, “Beggars can’t be choosers.”
