ᯓᡣ𐭩 Absolutely a girl dad in my mind, but he can be either! Obviously lol. I think he'd do well with a boy or a girl because he'd love them endlessly regardless.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 I think he would definitely be the type of dad to love his kids no matter what they choose to do in life. He doesn't care for gender stereotypes - He'll let his kids wear what they want, choose a job they like, it don't matter.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 But while they're still his babies, he'll be absolutely coddling them and he will in fact take up both the mom and dad role when you're too busy to help out or if you're tired.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He is a crier. Their first steps? Crying. Their first words? Crying. Their first day of Kindergarten? Crying. Dropping them off at daycare? Crying.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He will do ANYTHING for his kids. Which, as much as he dislikes it sometimes because he has deadlines, includes leaving work early to come home and spend time with the two of you.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 For some reason my first thought was Minho with twin girls.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 I think he would spoil the shit out of his daughters. Buying them whatever they want, clearing out a room in the apartment he previously used for working out to make into a toy room just for them; Big dollhouses, lots of barbies, dress up costumes. Everything you can think of.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He's the type of dad to let them paint on the walls and then tell you it'll be okay when you freak out about it later. He'll cover it - take care of it, he's got it. And he'll absolutely let them do it again. (But he'll never cover up the crayon drawing they did of your little family near the door. That'll stay forever.)

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Cooks the same meals as he always does for you two, but makes sure to cut up the meat into super little pieces for his girls so that they can enjoy it too without hazard.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Master of Tummy Time. Literally loves it, will never give it up. Even as the girls get older he lets them nap on him whenever they want.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 There's been countless amounts of times you've come home to Bin wearing a pink tutu over his jeans and covered in purple glitter while your daughter laughs and chases him around the villa.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He will let your daughter get away with ANYTHING, so you have to take the reins and eventually ask him to toughen up a little.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 But, him gently scolding your daughter while she sits in timeout is too hard to watch. He's a sucker for her and you can tell he doesn't like to scold her, so you do it instead. Baby's just too soft n squishy.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He's also just the cutest with your daughter. Seeing a big beefy man carrying around your two year old in her Elsa dress and little braids in her hair is just too fricken adorable. (Which means you have pleeeenty of pics of them together on your phone.)

ᯓᡣ𐭩 His favorite activity? Feeding your lil girl with the tiny baby spoons. He loves how messy she is and how she just can't keep food in her mouth longer than five seconds. It makes him cackle.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Absolutely loves dressing up your lil angel!! He buys SO MANY dresses and hairbands and bows and clips and shit for her, but also.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 The amount of Versace your daughter owns rivals the amount Hyunjin stows away in his closet. she is SPOILED.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 But he also convinces Donatello to let him bring her with to a shoot and it results in the most adorable photoshoot you've ever seen in your life.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 His favorite thing is reading to her, whether it's the middles of the day and she just wants him to read her a book - or if he's trying to get her to bed and laying in her way-too-small-for-him toddler bed beside her so she can relax and doze off against him.

•if it’s you he’s assisting, he takes his time removing your clothes. you’ll both be on the bed, he’s behind you encouraging your shirt off and once the fabric is gone he appreciates the skin of your back. his sizable hands massage at your tense shoulders, the space between your shoulder blades are gifted a series of kisses that make you shiver.

•leon always enjoys himself too much, either way. he makes a show out of it when you’re helping him.

•you’re busy unlacing his shoes, he’ll be leaning back on the bed he’s sat on, pulling his shirt over his head as he arches his back, stretching out his spine with a groan, the abdominal muscles poking through his pale skin contract with the stretch, his chest heaving with a satisfied sigh, your eyes glazing over the view you get of his throat and defined jawline with his head tilted back.

•you blink for the first time in a bit when he rolls his head back to front. you clear your throat as you finally get his shoes off, but he’s sliding a sock clad foot behind you and pulling you forward into his pelvis.

•you let out a soft ‘oof’ sound as you make contact with him, your hands splaying out on his hips as he speaks,

“enjoying the view?”

“obviously.” you scoff.

Doppo has constant thoughts of not being a good role model for his younger brother. It’s never mentioned how old he is, but especially if he's school aged- I imagine he doesn't visit home often due to the concern of being a "disappointing" older brother.

Despite his concerns though, Doppo's sibling thinks he's the coolest person in the whole world.

Life360 but you're the parent

You’re on the Yamada bro’s family tracker LMAO. Ichiro says you don’t have to turn your location on, but he wanted you to be on it in case anything happened to Saburo or Jiro and he couldn’t be there.

Jiro unfortunately uses it to beg to bring home food whenever he sees that you and Ichi are at a restaurant together.

Grocery shopping with Sasara is a literal process

He keeps wandering off into different isles, always seemingly on the other side of the store. Use that ‘clip a balloon to your partner’ life hack thing cause it’s the only way you’re finding him on your own.

Whenever he does appear though, he’s always sneaking items into the cart, trying not to have you notice. And they’re always EXPENSIVE TOO !! He’s got that famous comedian salary so he excuses it by saying he can afford it- but this man is not cost efficient in the slightest.

Ichi's older brother

Ichiro used to call Samatoki in as a babysitter for Jiro and Saburo back in their TDD days. Whenever he had a client to go to, needed to run errands, or simply just wanted a day to chill- Samatoki was always on speed dial.

Nemu would also come along! The bros thought she was 100% cooler than Toki in every way LMAO

I will live and die with Ramuda basement Dice

Ramuda will never kick Dice out of his basement!! No matter the circumstances, whether you move in, bills start raising, or even if you and Dice don’t get along- he has a home with Ramuda as long as he needs it.

Honestly if you ask him to kick his friend out that might be a deal breaker for your relationship

Jakurai wants a HOMEE

You starting your relationship with Jakurai is what compels him to start looking for a house. He was perfectly fine with a small apartment when it was just him- but with you in the picture he feels it’s time to start planning for a more permanent and stable future.

Doppo needs to stop accidentally sending disses to his boss

Doppo uses your private messages as his personal notes app sometimes. He’ll write down a to do list, ideas for rap verses, or just type keysmash when things get a little too stressful.

He doesn’t expect you to respond to any of his messages but when you do, whether giving him feedback or encouragement, he always gets super flustered.

Jiro's scandal

Jiro thinks that nobody knows about his secret relationship with you- but literally everyone knows HAHAHAHA. Saburo saw him holding hands with you one day and he told Ichiro about it- who then fawned about his lil bro growing up to anyone who asked how they were doing- and well, news certainly spreads quickly when it’s about the golden boys of Ikebukuro.

I realized as I was posting that I missed like… half the channel. I didn’t include the ones I just don’t care for or I’m not interested in. So sorry if that includes ur fave 🙏. Ollie

Mike’s Hard Lemonade enjoyer. He’s a simple man. What he wants from alcohol is a lil tasty treat that gets him drunk. Mike’s Hard does that. His fav flavor is the strawberry lemonade one.

Babe (Ollie’s listener)

Neat whiskey kind of person. They don’t believe in mixed drinks and are terribly embarrassed when they have to buy Ollie’s Mike’s Hards. They do like it when they order drinks at a bar and the bartender assumes the daiquiri is for them. The look on most faces when Ollie starts slurping that thing down is delicious.

Aaron

Can’t keep his desktop organized for the life of him. Aaron is a Virgo to the max, he has like… five placements of it in his chart. He is incredibly organized. He folds his underwear and puts them into little stacks in his drawer. He has a little velvet lined case where he keeps all of his cuff links and tie pins. His shoes all go in the exact same spot on the rack every single day. But he can’t organize his folders for the life of him. Everything is just saved wherever there’s room for it. It’s incredibly frustrating for him to try and find anything.

Smartass

They are So Good at grocery shopping. Aaron hates grocery stores. The lights and noise and amount of people stress him out. So they make a list together and Smartass gets shit done. They have a system. They group their list by aisle and start at the back of the store, and make their way up to the front, wearing through the aisles. In total, it takes them about 30 mins to shop for two weeks worth of stuff. They time themself. Their record is 23 mins.

Elliot

He wants a cat really badly. His and Sunshine’s current lease agreement doesn’t allow pets, so they’re waiting until they can move. He volunteers at a local cat cafe and is in love with a little calico baby there. He’s determined to adopt her as soon as he can.

Brachium

He wishes that he could try strawberries. Sunshine loves them, but he isn’t able to experience them through anything but their memories. When he feels resentful of his situation, the small thing he gets caught up on is the fact that he’ll never get to try strawberries.

Sunshine

Hasn’t been behind the wheel of a car since their accident. They’ll ride in one if they have to, but they haven’t been able to drive since. Elliot is more than willing to drive them wherever they need to go, and they have a bike they use when he’s busy.

James

As a form of short hand when asking his partner if he can be in their brain for a while, he telepathically goes “Knock Knock.” He has to stop himself from using it with other people.

James’ spouse

Uses snail mail with James. Of course they text and email and call, but they love to write out a letter, put pictures in, pressed flowers. They make beautiful, decorated papers with their gorgeous handwriting. James has chicken scratch, but he still replies to every one. He just has to send an accompanying email with the translation so they can read it.

Anton

Writes poetry in his free time. He’s a scientist, but he believes that science and art are not so different from each other. When he’s stuck on a problem having to do with his work, he’ll write a poem about it. He writes a lot of poems to his partner. He never sends any of them.

Brian

Loves Animal Crossing New Horizons. He’ll never admit it, but it’s his absolute favorite pass time. His favorite villager is Lucky and he bought an amibo card to get him. His island is beautiful and has a sort of cityscape theme. He changes up certain areas for the seasons and does custom builds. He doesn’t believe in treasure islands and does everything for himself. He’s completed the Happy Home Island DLC and is a minor celebrity in ACNH spaces for his customs. If this ever gets out he’ll be ruined.

The Asset

Gets songs stuck in their head. It’s a weird, human thing that they just happen to have. Brian was startled when he heard them humming a Mitski song under their breath. It seemed to disturb him that they were capable of it.

Guy

He thinks he’s a good script writer, but he’s actually most talented in writing fiction. He would absolutely slay as a novelist, but he’s stuck on the idea of being a screenwriter. That’s why his script hasn’t gone anywhere in the last few years.

Honey

When they were a kid and people asked them what they wanted to be when they grew up, they always said “bus driver.” They just thought it would be fun to drive those big ol things around.

Kody

Still stalks the entire D.A.M.N. crew’s social media. He has a few alt accounts he uses to drop nasty comments on everybody’s posts. The crew pretty much knows it’s Kody, but every time they block an account a new one pops up. He seems to delight in messing with Lasko the most, since every time he gets a Kody comment, Lasko won’t post for a few weeks. Kody thinks it’s because he’s scared, but actually Lasko is afraid he’ll violate terms of service with the things he’s likely to reply.

Geordi

Avid consumer of reality tv. He will never admit it, of course. It feels non-intellectual. But he has watched every season of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and has incredibly strong feelings about it. He runs a semi-popular twitter account where he live tweets every new episode. He’s deeply, deeply ashamed.

Cutie

Early riser. They’re up before the sun is. It’s somewhat comforting to them to know that they’re the only person up, and there’s nobody who can be thinking about them and them not know it.

Blake

Thinks that Drake won the Kendrick beef. He won’t even listen to “Not Like Us.” He’s been an avid Drake fan for years and refuses to accept that he lost.

Bestie

Does tarot readings, funnily enough. They like the idea of being able to look ahead to the future. On the day that Blake died, all their deck would let them draw was The Ten of Swords.

I also headcanon that average height for angels and demons tends to be closer to 6'0. Just because. And Diavolo shrinks himself as much as he can manage in his human-passing form to try and be less intimidating but there's only so much he can do.

What if I made a Benrey timeline thing and was sobbing the whole time

He's leaning backwards a bit, hands balled into fists, arms by his side, a bit tense, eyes blue but tinged with yellow at the edges.

Benrey came back to Black Mesa a few months after escaping, working as a security guard because he liked them and they were nice to him (they weren't as bad as the scientists)

Honestly I don't have a lot to say here about specifically him being a guard

It was after getting out of experiments that he discovered and absolutely fell in love with video games. He has them all. He has played every video game in the ever.

He loves just standing around being strange and offputting

The third drawing is Benrey post-Xen. He's a complete wreck. He's still in the security guard outfit, minus the vest, tie, and helmet, but it's torn up and stained with his purple blood. The sketch layer (which is half transparent) is on top of the color layer, conveying a sense of messiness. His hair is a mess, he's lost a lot of weight, his eyes are yellow, pupils dilated from numbness, the shadow under his eyes completely black. He looks foggy, distant, tired, just really fucked up.

So yeah, after Xen Benrey's... really not doing good. Drowning in guilt over everything, having all his worst thoughts about himself basically confirmed, and just mentally fucked in every way, Benrey just spirals really bad after respawning.

Where exactly he is after respawning varies depending on the fic. However he definitely falls into a really bad depression spiral after he gets out of Black Mesa and kinda isolates himself.

He is still wearing the guard uniform minus the vest and there is symbolism

This period of his life lasts for a number of months before the Science Team (probably Gordon) finds him. unless he respawns closer to the team in which case it lasts like a month or two at most

The fourth drawing is Benrey some time later. His hair is less messy, he's gained some weight, the shadow under his eyes is somewhat lighter, and his eyes are blue now. He's wearing brown pants, a black hoodie, a dark blue button-up, and a blue thigh strap. He looks like significantly less of a wreck than before.

So the Science Team find him and start making him get better by force lol

He wears button ups under hoodies for a while due to nostalgia from Black Mesa

He STARTS unlearning the mindset of "I'm inherently evil," and starts learning to Not see people as inherently good because he likes them, but. He isn't there yet and won't be for a long long while. It's a slow process

He ALSO starts learning that Black Mesa torturing him was Bad Actually and it traumatized him a bit <\3

Xen drained a LOT of his energy and powers. He's probably never gonna be at 100% in terms of powers ever again, but that's ok

The fifth and last drawing is Benrey, a year or so post-Rescas. He's doing a lot better, and you can tell. He's wearing a blue chullo with an orange puffball on top and pink strings. His hair's poking out of the chullo. He has a dark blue hoodie with a rainbow PlayStation logo, pale blueish sweatpants, a pink thigh strap, and extremely colorful, messy, bright socks. He's gained a lot more weight, his eyes are blue and pupils dilated, the shadow under his eyes significantly lessened. He looks relaxed, and there's a smile on his face, his nostrils slightly flared (which they do that when he smiles). He looks genuinely happy.

His mental state still isn't perfect, he's still not There, the bad days are still bad, but holy shit he's doing so much better

Alr!!! Crews general music tastes??? I know damn well eclipse loves Beyonce

Oh boy, music!! This is gonna be a fun one to get into, at least imo.

So to start off, I like to think that in general they all like the kind of music genres that pop up in the game’s music track already. Also, we know DJ Cyber made the mixtapes besides the one for the hideout (that one being made by Tryce), so bonus headcanon: at least a few of them made suggestions to DJ Cyber for songs to include on those mixtapes.

Now moving on to some specifics!

BRC:

It depends on which individual member you ask, they probably have the most varied tastes between them? Again, besides the game’s existing genres.

There is a small subset who are into Vocaloid/vocal synth songs, mainly thanks to Bel introducing it to them. Also J-pop, again from Bel introducing it to others.

Other than that, not gonna go into further detail, especially since I’d have to think on it a lot more. :u

Actually, before I move on, a bonus headcanon: both Vinyl and DJ Cyber have probably the largest range of music tastes, and are both very knowledgeable about music. They can tell you the name of a song from the first couple of notes/lyrics, knowing when songs were release, explain differences between genres of music and which one is a subgenre/derived from/evolved from what other music genre, at least a brief history of bands/musicians/singers/etc.

One time they competed against each other in a music-focused quiz game (not like, an actual game show or anything like that, it was an informal thing at a party with the other writers). Vinyl just barely won in the end, and she still lords that over DJ Cyber every now and then, lol

The Franks

Tryce mentions at one point in the game that they blast electrofunk music. Some people might think that's something made up for the game, but it is in fact an actual music genre! So I like to think that's their main favorite, along with related genres like funk in general and breakbeat.

I like to think the Flesh Prince got into these particular genres thanks to listening to old CDs and mixtapes his parents had. Not that the Prince will ever admit it to them. :P

Eclipse

Definitely Beyoncé like you said, lol. Also other R&B/hip hop/pop/dance artists in the same vein as Beyoncé: Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Shakira, Janelle Monáe, Lil Kim, Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Chapelle Roan, etc.

Okay that list ended up longer than I meant it to be, but you probably get the idea, lol

Cassiopeia (leader, the winter palette for the crew) also has a fondness for orchestra music. Mostly when she's relaxing at home, it helps her unwind after a long day of either working at her shop or being out and about as a writer.

DOT EXE

Old school EDM (especially older disco, techno, and house) in general. Which is perhaps cliche/stereotypical since they're all cyberheads/full-cyber, but whatever lol

Twoson and Fourside also have their Weird Music Tastes that I mentioned back in the big DOT EXE post I made. And then Cueball in particular really likes video game soundtracks, and is a big fan of chiptune music in general.

Devil Theory

Hip hop and rap and related genres! And because of their love of anime, various Japanese songs that have served as anime openings/endings. :P

Sai also introduces the others to reggaetón too! And other Spanish genres related to that. Nunchaku and Bō don't speak Spanish, but they do still understand most of what's in those songs too. Besides, sometimes it's about enjoy the music and the beat, even if you can't understand the words!

Okay, also, I am going to give extra attention to my DT OCs specifically, with some extra particulars for each:

Sai likes salsa music, especially to sing along with, but like I mentioned in my big Devil Theory post, he never sings in front of other people. (Rise is the only exception, hee hee)

Nunchaku likes rock and metal music! And almost every subgenre for these two you can think of, like punk rock and nu metal.

Bō likes old school EDM/disco stuff, though in contrast to most other people, he especially likes EDM songs with a slow tempo. Bit of a contradiction since most people associate EDM with fast tempos and beats.

Daishō likes listening to horror media soundtracks, because of course he does, lol

FUTURISM

EDM in general, I would think. In contrast to DOT EXE, I imagine they're largely into newer songs and subgenres in that giant genre!

I would give personal favorites for some of the genres mentioned here, but man, that'd make this post way too long. Hell, EDM in general covers so many subgenres.

Actually, I think I can at least link some playlists I've made? Just 3 (for now?), because I have like 20 something playlists for different music, a bunch of them being for OCs I haven't talked about publicly. But I digress. :P

⸻thoughtful mannerisms... he fiddles with his hands a lot. knits his fingers together, wiggles them, twiddles his thumbs, fidgets with the seams in his gloves. he's pretty much always doing something with his hands, whether he's deep in thought or not. he also tends to stare and zone out, sort of 'go somewhere else' for a minute.

⸻favorite munchies... he can't digest food, so he can really only take bites and spit it out afterward. he likes food, he likes to taste and try new things, and he thinks it's such an utter waste to have been born with taste buds and not even be physically capable of digesting anything but human or nightfolk blood and flesh. about the only thing he can eat is bloody delights, which are just turkish delights with a few extra vampiric steps. now if we get down to what he especially likes the taste of? candy. franken-leeches, lollipops, chocolates, sour candies, rum-runners, the liste goes on.

⸻his hair smells nice... he's the herbal essences type. or, really, just the type to go for the expensive stuff made specially for silver or white hair. and always lightly floral-scented. sweet pea, peony, lavender, something that keeps his hair smelling soft and clean throughout the night. he doesn't like especially strong smells as they tend to give him a headache. he oscillates between different ones, too; if one month it's orange blossom, the next will be rose hips, the one after will be cherry blossom, etcetc.

⸻colorful dedication... considering his favorite color is pink and everything he owns is white, red, or black... he isn't all that dedicated to it. i think he might have a little pink faux fur pillow and a pink jacket, but the only thing he has that he chooses to personalize with pink is his cell phone case. i'll have to dig up the headcanon for it, but a white, pink, black, and red cutesy goth case with lil bats on it. don't get me wrong, he loves pink! he just isn't particularly inclined to buy everything pink under the moon. if you gave him a pink teddy bear, he'd kiss you, though.

⸻obnoxious about perfume... dude's totally wearing a spritz of flowerbomb, which is a warm floral scent - orange blossom, vanilla, and jasmine. a light spritz, since he finds it a bit strong even with just two. just a little, just enough to mask his natural scent. he likes to smell clean and feminine, like a walking flower really. soft, pretty, comforting.

⸻ambient lighting vs overhead lighting... tbh i'm not entirely sure what this means. overhead light in the kitchen? by now, yes, because that's how loux prefers it. before meeting loux and sortia, he hadn't seen a kitchen in 11 years, and before that, he never had the need. uh, if we're talking lights in the cieling anywhere, i'd say ambient lighting is what he would personally prefer, between the two. moonlight trickling in through the window, lights you can't see the source of necessarily but give off a nice glow, candlelight, that sort of light? yes, excellent.

I WANTED TO SHOWCASE SOME OF MY HEADCANONS AND EXPLANATIONS BEHIND DESIGN ELEMENTS VIA SMALL SKETCHES BUT SINCE IM LAZY AND EEPY AND BUSY I WILL JUST LIST THEM HERE

Basically this is an au where pretty much everything is the same except Beeg and Eggdog are like. actual children and do child things (as well as their usual shenanigans), and smg4 and smg3 are basically their parents, but seeing as they are smg4 and smg3 they aren't quite the best at parenting, seeing as (technically) they are single dads (despite hanging out so much beeg and eggdog see each other as siblings at this point) but they try their best and thats all that matters

Eggdog isn't fully in on the dark/evil/emo aesthetic SMG3 is into, but he does like some of the styles occasionally and so thats why he has the signature SMG3 skull as his vest buttons and some dark purple

Eggdog's vest bares a striking resemblance to SMG3's vest he wears in WOTFI 2023, cuz it looks neat

I made Beeg look more like a stylized young version of SMG4, the fit is mostly the same except he doesn't have gloves (his actual design doesnt have gloves either) and i have him a bandana and a long sleeved shirt under his short sleeved shirt

On Beeg's actual design, for some reason one of his arms overlaps an overalls strap? I tried to pay homage to that by making that overall strap hang off his shoulder instead of... phasing through his arm

SMG3 tells Eggdog he loves him so much and Eggdog has become a very affectionate person because of it

SMG4 doesn't often tell Beeg that he loves him that much (not that he doesn't love him, its just he's not big on verbal affection either, like Beeg) which probably affects Beeg a bit to make him very much less affectionate; the two will have moments though

Eggdog got his nails painted black by SMG3! SMG3 wanted to try painting his own nails black and Eggdog thought it looked neat so he got his nails painted too (SMG3's nails are hidden by his gloves, slightly out of embarrassment, but Eggdog loves his nails)

Beeg sometimes picks fights with other kids and other random people and memes. The lil man is reckless as all hell. Thats why he has tears in his overalls and he has bandages on him here and there

Eggdog is actually part dog in this design, i couldn't just not have him be a dog (ig i kind of made him into a dog-human hybrid? me when i accidentally project my own species from my own fictional world into a fictional world that doesn't belong to me:)

I gave Beeg a bandana! No reason, i usually draw SMG4 and SMG3 in turtlenecks and i could have done a turtleneck for Beeg, but i have seen other peoples interpretations of SMG4 have a bandana too and i REALLY like it so i gave Beeg a big bandana around his neck. Plus i think it makes him cuter

Eggdog's top hat is essential. He loves being a lil dapper feller

The hat that Beeg wears onscreen looks more like a baseball cap than a Mario cap, so i made it a baseball cap -- SMG4 shoddily made the SMG4 patch for the baseball cap and somehow managed to attach it together and gave it to Beeg as a gift. Beeg will never admit he loves it

I gave Eggdog red eyes to make him look more related to SMG3

Beeg's eyes are blue just like SMG4's as well

There is no real significance behind Eggdog's watch. I just think it makes him look cooler

Eggdog has freckles on his face! cuz eggdog has whiskers, which kinda looks like freckles in some way, plus it makes him look more like a cutie

I gave Beeg some freckles too, but they are like those baby freckles that vanish as he gets older

The two treat each other as siblings. Beeg acts like the older sibling but is actually younger lol

Beeg has definitely accidentally called SMG3 dad at least one, and Eggdog also has definitely accidentally called SMG4 dad too (SMG4 and SMG3 are around each other so much while they are around, its hard not to at this point)

Beeg definitely is one of those rebellious kids who has tried to run away from home at least once (and by run away from home he means packing some snacks and hiding behind SMG3's coffee shop and wait for SMG4 to feel bad and start looking for him, or until he gets hungry for dinner and comes back to the castle)

Eggdog can't stand being away from home, or being home alone and not knowing where SMG3 is, but he can party just fine at home alone if he knows SMG3 is safe and will come home at some point

Beeg def seeks attention a lot

Eggdog sometimes gets tired of Beeg's bs and will occasionally snap at him about it, but very rarely, usually he politely tries to cooperate with him

SMG4 and SMG3 are not the most qualified parents out there, but they love Beeg and Eggdog so damn much and will do anything in their power to keep their kiddos alive

...Should I even call this an AU? Cuz nothing really changes, its just Beeg and Eggdog looking different and being treated like actual children,,

Headcanons for each boy's most embarrassing/irrational fear?

Also, do you mind if I redirect an anon to you? They've been sending me hc list requests and while I'm mostly fine with it, I think I would be happier doing my own ideas on my own time.

Ohohoho. Now we're talking. This shit is my bread and butter >:]. A lot of these fears aren't necessarily irrational in their cases, but boy would they be embarrassed by them.

(Also yeah Idm. Can't guarantee I'll always be in the mood to write em but sure!)

Four: Statues. Specifically, those very detailed human statutes. He watched Zelda get turned into one at the start of Minish Cap and it left an awful mental scar. Whenever he's faced with them he'll avoid all eye contact and if he must get close he'll be sweaty and shaky. He can definitely shake hands with Wind on this fear, though I can't imagine Wind has the same adverse reaction. He's just uneasy around them.

Hyrule: Squeamishness is a pretty normal fear. But what embarrasses Hyrule is that he's arguably the least afraid of blood when it comes to other people's injuries (he's the fanon healer after all). When it's his own blood however, dude will literally start to feel faint and panic. Something something blood of the hero. Combine this with transmasc Hyrule having to deal with shark week for the ultimate whombo combo of torment. Sorry buddy.

Legend: Thunderstorms. Yep. You saw this one coming if you read Downpour. Legend has had SO MANY awful experiences during/because of storms and I cannot see him doing anything but going into blind panic when faced with one. I won't go into much more detail bc I've written about it. But yeah. Poor baby boy 🥺.

Sky: Being left behind. Yeah, you can imagine where this came from. If he's with a group of people and somehow ends up alone or lost he will get pretty distressed. Poor guy's like a lost kid at Walmart. When he finally reunites with his group he'll give them a tongue lashing once he calms down.

Time: Maybe not necessarily a "fear" per say, but I can picture him getting extremely stressed and on edge if they are ever behind schedule. If they were supposed to reach a village by dusk but it's already close to nightfall, for example. Yep, it's that Majora's Mask time crunch stress coming back to bite him on the ass.

Twilight: Bugs. I think it's Arbiters Grounds, but the dungeon in TP where yoy get swarmed by insects at one point? Yeah no. Would turn you off bugs for life. Twilight is the one sheepishly at your door at 3am, but instead of "I threw up." it's "There's a spider in the bathroom please help." I also think he would be too kind to actually kill any bugs so the dude just makes it hard on himself lol.

Wars: This one isn't even based on something in HW. I projected hard and wrote a fic once and it's stuck ever since. Dentists. Wars HATES getting dental work done. The thought of it even makes him sweat and squirm. Why? Because he's but a vessel for my own anxiety disorder.

Wild: I'm highkey projecting again. Wild's claustrophobic, but specifically he does not like the feeling of being trapped in a small, cramped space. It's definitely been spurred on by waking up in the resurrection shrine. He would not have a fun time in some of the other boy's dungeons.

Wind: Bridges. I imagine this fear didn't really start to set in until some time after WW. But now he cannot cross long bridges. He will literally freeze up. All can hear is the wings of the helmaroc king and the sound of Aryll screaming. Most people assume its a fear of heights but it goes much deeper than that. Poor lil guy needs a hug 🥺

some headcanons for my kids (+ I’m basically just channeling my own family/friends/myself onto them <3)

They all have ethnic names period even if theyre not listed in the movie, they have them. (most of the time growing up asian american you will 100% have a name given to u by ur parents/family member/close family friend/grandparents, the only bad that comes out of that is only members of ur family use the name and are the only ones who can pronounce it most of the time and when it comes to papers u sign, u dont rlly include ur asian name bc its like a middle name and isint always necessarily which is p shit, we are given such American first names because they’re easy to pronounce when coming over :/)

Yale has a tradition of inviting flying friends over to his place for New Years for a Korean celebration and makes a seaweed soup thats always eaten for the new year! (something my own family does)

Yale taught Harvard Korean and always has Harvard tag along on Korean trips to visit family! They love Harvard and Harvard loves the food lolol!!! and them ofc!!!

Halo met Fritz first and they stuck together like glue being two of the few asians, when they met Yale they made their own little friend group (i think other pocs can relate, when being in a place where there are ppl who make u feel alienated, finding people who are the same as u is comfortable and its easier to relate to each other, at least in my experience)

Fritz has a small lil “asian glow” when drunk LOL meanwhile Yale is head to toe bright red 💀

Yale bought Halo (and later on Phoenix!!) a hanbok as a birthday present (she would look so pretty in one omg, a hanbok is a traditional korean clothing, they are rlly pretty, its like a flowy dress)

Halo incorporates Mandarin in her english

Yale has no siblings so he basically adopted Halo and Fritz to be like his family, he act like a big ol older brother to them, a lot of his own family is in S. Korea

When Fritz’s grandparents immigrated over, the ones taking down peoples names wrote his last name incorrectly as Avalone (this is a true story from my family, my last name is incorrectly spelled and hence its pronounced incorrectly as well honestly this hc can also go with Halo)

Fritz is the youngest of the three, Yale is the oldest

They all taught each other swear words in their language AHAH

Fritz has a younger sister who got him into kpop (lol my own sister) and he has a lot of photocards, Halo teases him about it even tho she herself is into a lot of jpop and cpop groups

Yale always picks up a kpop album for Fritz and his sister on his Korea trips! 💚

When Yale gets angry he rants in Korean (when someone talks super fast in korean its so entertaining, like speak ur truth bro hell yeah but also dont yell at me or ill cry MCNDJD)

Yale’s guilty pleasure is watching Chinese dramas, he and Halo’s mom get together and break down the latest episodes of their shows they bringe whenever he’s in town HAHA (i think Yale would be a hit with Fritz and Halo’s parents)

Fritz is re-learning some of his Mandarin from Halo since as a kid his parents didn’t enforce their languages onto him but he does know more Filipino!! (me shaking my fist at my own parents, i couldve been a fluent bilingual lol)

Sometimes on comms Yale and Harvard will switch to Korean and annoy their flying partner for fun AHAHA

it was still 20 minutes till their practice started 

He walked out with Semi and Tendou 

“Oh hey y/n - do you need anything?” he asks and the three of them stopped. 

“Oh uhm.. I just needed to ask you something real quick.” you lied. 

“Sure - you don't have to wait, I’ll come right after.” and with that you two are alone. 

“So what’s up love?” he tilts his head. 

“Is it fun?” you ask him dead serious. 

“Fun?” he’s already confused - what is supposed to be fun?

You stand in the room for another 10 minuets. 

HOW could he be so unbothered and just leave? Sure volleyball is his number one but .... just HOW?

And they ran away 

from a far you hear Bokuto scream 

“Tsukishima and Y/n wont come... Well they probably will come.. but not for dinner, they’re already eating each others faces.” 

You stayed in the gym for a few more minutes. 

Non of you saying anything 

Your stomach grumbles and Tsuki sighs 

“We can either jump off the nearest bridge OR get humiliated. I’m rooting for the first option.” He looks into your eyes and adds “I’m sorry baby.” 

Well.. you still chose the second option. 

You open the doors and all the talking stopped

and now all eyes are fixed on you two as you get inside the room and sit down beside Yamaguchi and Hinata. 

still non of them dared to say a word - thanks to Tsuki’s death stares

Well today the unlucky one was Futamata

He forgot something in the VBC’s room 

and well.... 

opening the door... he saw your legs wrapped around Yūjis torso, your hands in his hair, your blouse on the floor. 

Yūji still as shirtless as he was when he last saw him

“GUYS PLEASE. Stop for a second and let me get my bag.” he covers top his eyes

“Well, your bag is on the other side of the room so I don’t see a problem.” Yūji says unbothered by the interruption, is lips badly leaving yours 

“Just be on time for practice. I swear to god Misaki’s going to kill you otherwise.” and he left the room again. 

Yūji is back doing his work the second he heard the door shut. Lifting up your skirt a bit more his hand moves in-between your thighs... 

well... he’s late for practice again 

opening up the door to the gym he walks into it like the ‘king’ he is

His hand runs through his still messy hair and smug smile on his face

“Sorry - got caught up in something.” 

the whole team, coach included, rolls their eyes. 

fast forward after practice ended in the lockers room. 

“WTF TERUSHIMA ?!” Futamata exclaims jumping back from the lockers he saw you pressed against earlier 

“What?” Yūji asks, already knowing what’s up 

“YOUR BACK. You two did... did it... HERE?!” 

“well.. good for you that you got your bag in time.” he smirks and finishes getting dressed. 

“CLEAN THE GODDAMN ROOM.” Bobata looks disgusted. 

Well the whole team looks disgusted asking themselves if they should just burn everything that touched basically anything in this room. 

“No sorry, I can’t. Promised Y/N to finish what I started.” And with that he casually walks out of the room leaving his team disgusted and with nightmares.
