Am I the only writer who hates using (y/n)? It just doesn't sit right well with me as a small writer. I would rather get lost in a corn maze at three in the morning than use (y/n) in my works.

Is it just me? Idk…

Guts is so attractive to me, but the majority of artists just don't seem to do him justice. The way they draw him, the way the animators create him, and the way sculptors (those figurine artists) make him, ends up making him look downright ugly. It's only a small few, like Miura, who can capture his good looks properly.

Disclaimer: Let me clarify - when I said the majority of artists don't do Guts justice, I wasn't trying to say that every single Berserk artist is a bad drawer. What I meant is that I just haven't come across that one artist who can make Guts look as attractive to me as Miura does. At the end of the day, Miura is the ORIG master when it comes to depicting Guts' good looks.

after having an entire hour long conversation with my coworkers about what "degendering" is, and the importance of using trans people's pronouns when you know them- rather than always defaulting to "they/them" no matter what- and still getting "they/them"ed by people I trusted not to fucking do that to me, I have decided that the name and pronouns circle of introductions for new additions to the group will now include the very clearly stated boundary that they do not use "they/them" pronouns for me.

Edit since a lot of people seem confused - your "real" name is the name that you want to be referred to in real life. It doesn't have to be your legal name. So if you're trans and you have a different name to whats on your birth certificate, even if not many people call you by the name, it still counts as your real name.

You will always be seen as a replacement brought in to fill the void left by their one true love's passing. My romantic love is inherently selfish and possessive. I want my partner's romantic love to be mine and mine alone, not divided between myself and the memory of a lost love. After all, they technically never even had the chance to break up with each other. Their relationship was cruelly cut short by the cold grip of death. People should be free to seek out a partner who does not have the shadow of a past relationship hanging over them, one that was ended prematurely. I'm not saying they shouldn't ever find happiness again, but it certainly won't be with me. There are plenty of people in this world who don't have a dead lover in their past so why on earth would I ever choose to settle for someone who does? I deserve someone whose heart is fully and unequivocally mine, not someone who will always have a piece of it trapped in the past. This is an uncompromising position, and I refuse to budge on it. My needs and desires in a relationship come first, and I won't accept anything less than total, exclusive devotion.
