I read around 35 pages in my book today, and I made like 20 notes on my phone. Seriously. I don't know how I found the time to read 35 pages and then make 20 notes of varying quality, but somehow I found the time. Most of my notes have a rude, almost cranky quality to them. I just feel like I need to admit that, since I am pretty critical in the notes I made about the Magnus Chase series today. My first period class read an eerie story, and I think that's been ruining my whole day. I wrote a note to get it off my chest, but apparently the bitterness and anger must've chosen to stick around. As the day has gone on, however, my bad mood has gone from an angry boil to a tired and exhausted simmer.

So now I just feel tired and exhausted instead of angry and bitter. All my emotional energy seems to have burnt itself out over the course of the day. And now i'm just tired and exhausted. Tired and exhausted and probably in need of a good rest (not saying sleep, since I don't really sleep well in the daytime). No, I just need to lay down and rest, I think. That's all I really feel like doing.

PS: Now that I'm back home and laying down upstairs, I feel a bit better. But still, today wasn't the best. I'll try to share as many of my notes as I can (so I can get them off my chest and not leave them to collect dust in my notes app), but I want to repeat my warning: as the day wore on, I got tired and frustrated. A lot of my later Magnus Chase notes are super grumpy and bitter because of that. A bad morning can really set a bad tone for the rest of the day. sigh...
