After struggling with the yellow lighting in my space for so long, I picked up these cheap LED arrays. Right now I'm still experimenting with them - but they've already made it so much easier to take pictures at night.
In the past, I've had to rely on timing to get good shots - golden hour early evening shots where the light from the window isn't too intense, but still bright enough to cancel out the warm light in our apartment.
I think my favorite application (so far) is what you see in picture 2 - on Soul of Chogokin Daileon. Using indirect lighting to add some color to my background. I can see myself using that pretty often.
Just finished Juspion and I think it was a solid Toku series. 1st everything about Juspion's suit, gear and mech are (chef's kiss). 2nd unlike most Toku of the Era Juspion has a story that continues from episode to episode. It isn't perfect and I think some of the supporting cast deserved a little better.
But over all it worth watching what with its fun hero and outlandish giant monster battles. I'm happy Discotek released this gem on blu-ray. Oh and look at Anri's proto outfit in this pic!
