Chucky predictions

SPOILER WARNING FOR CHUCKY S3E5!

I wanna make Chucky theories so bad, but I can't think of any! This show is so crazy that I can't even predict or speculate on what could happen next. There are some people teasing on twitter though and all they've been doing is making me even more hyped for how this season is going to end. So here are some of my predictions based on everything that's been teased so far.

Jake will enter the spirit realm:

I don't think he's necessarily going to die, but he's so fixated on ending Chucky for good to the point where he refused to run away from it all like Devon suggested. And we've heard the doctor, the only way you get to the spirit realm is by dying, but what if you didn't need to die? I believe that thanks to all the supernatural shit occurring there, the White House will become some sort of passage between the two realms. Jake will cross it to try and destroy Charles' soul, but if he will fail or succeed is still debatable...

Caroline helps Chucky get young again:

If Jake fails in permanently killing Chucky, Caroline will come to the rescue. We know she'll be back, but what role will she play in this mess? When she'll return, all hell already would've broken loose and she'll just make it worse. Her sudden entrance at the White House will cause quite the emotional reunion for Lexi and her. Yet, Caroline didn't come alone. Armed with the Voodoo for Dummies book, sure, but she brought another friend, who's none other than the Good Guy Doll creator played by John Waters. He came with a new doll, a new vessel for Charles and with Caroline's newfound knowledge of Voodooism, she'll get Damaballa's blessings and give Chucky a new body, a new chance to not disappoint the almighty Iowa and if he plays his cards right, he might even become forever young.

Grant will survive:

I don't have any evidence to back this up, I just like him and think it's unfair that Lexy always has to say goodbye to someone she loves each season and I just don't want it to happen again. From a psychology standpoint it just desensitized her and would lead to her not getting attached to anyone else besides Jake & Devon next season, in fear of someone else always having to die because of her. And from a writing perspective it just gets repetitive, predictable and boring. So please Don Mancini don't kill him, also I love Jackson Kelly.

The past will haunt everyone:

Charles Lee Ray isn't the only ghost the Terror Trio will have to deal with in the newly supernatural possessed White House. We've seen the past of the Collins family haunt them time and time again, we've seen Henry talk about ghosts and fearing what they told him almost every single episode. Why would that stop at Joseph or Charles? Wouldn't it be horrible for our trio to be faced with the lives they lost thanks to a doll they couldn't stop? How would Jake react upon seeing his father again, disappointed at him for being gay. And Lexy, the poor girl, facing Junior, the boy she watched die, trying to save her... Not making at least one ghost of the past come back would be a wasted opportunity.

Tiffany will survive, but Jennifer's body might not:

Tiffany's possible death has been brought up in every interview Jennifer Tilly made following the comeback of Chucky season 3. At this point it even became a ‘will they, won't they’ situation. Does Mancini really have the guts to kill off a cult favorite character and actress he loves so much? Or will we just say goodbye to seeing Tilly on screen and welcome only her voice? I mean the trailer kinda made it clear for me that this isn't the end of Tiffany's story, but maybe that of Jennifer's body.

Ok so I reread our thread involving Miss Fairchild finding out about Doll!Junior and my mind went spiraling

I began imagining an AU of my AU on what happened to Doll!Junior kinda what was happening to Chucky in the first Child’s Play movie. Becoming more “human” the more he was in the doll. That doesn’t happen anymore to Chucky but it’s different with Junior since this was his first time possessing a doll. So I’m just imagining him becoming more human in the doll to the point where Junior almost resembles a human toddler but with still the same attributes of a doll, the bright blue eyes and shiny plastic skin, even having a little more of a doll voice. Over time, it’s almost as if Junior is “reborn” as somewhat of a doll and it’s a shocking transition Rachel ends up seeing over the course of weeks or months.

Omg I love that! That would be such an interesting concept and it would make it more of a challenge for the kids to hide the fact that Junior’s alive because the doll is beginning to look more human, I love it XD

Found/Final Family AU Headcanon!

There’s a little rift in forming our family when Andy and Nica begin to fall in love and start a relationship.

Junior, having spent most of his time with Nica previously and having bad history with father figures, would be suspicious and untrusting of Andy; he would be absolutely terrified his Mom would get hurt and have her heart broken, especially knowing some of the trauma she’s faced. It doesn’t help that while Junior knows Chucky is not his friend and manipulated him, he hasn’t heard any good stories of Andy. Because of this, Junior is a bit of a brat to Andy at the beginning; he doesn’t make it easy on the poor man, but it makes their relationship all the sweeter when Junior finally comes to trust him and consider Andy a parental figure.

Conversely, Devon and Jake have witnessed Andy’s heroism, seen the lengths to which he’ll go to stop Chucky and save innocent victims of the killer doll. With Chucky having possessed Nica, her history being very mysterious and left to their imagination, they’re understandably hesitant and nervous around her when they first begin to spend more time with the couple. Nica’s kindness and maternal instincts win them over relatively quickly, especially with her easy acceptance of them and the honesty she gives them when speaking of her past.

The distrust and fear initially leads to some tension between Jake/Devon and Junior because they’re trusting and grateful of the adult that has become their protector, their hero.

Which makes them all the more lucky when they gain another hero and parent.

Why hello, my name is Chucky, welcome to my childcare guide book. I have many years of experience being around kids, I even have two of my own. In all of my years, I’ve searched desperately for a book or some sort of video guide that could help me understand the young people in my life, but nothing I found ever related to my exact situation. This is the guide that I wish I’d had back in the 1980s. If you’re somehow seeing this Andy, I blame you for everything that’s gone wrong in my life.

Modern Teenagers:

The most important thing I can teach you about the youth of today is that you have to relate to them on their level. One thing I like to do when I’m talking to a modern day teenager is reference Instagram. Remember how exciting it was when you were a kid and grownups would reference the Batman comic you’d just read? This is the modern day equivalent. Have I ever used the app? Not really, but I did talk to a teenager (thank you Junior, RIP) who assured me that Insta followers are a very valued commodity for today’s youth.

A lot of teenagers don’t actually like me. Can’t figure out why, I’m very cool. If you experience the same issue, I can recommend that you should not aim to traumatise teenagers unless you have a goal, because some of them have the strength of full grown adults along with raging hormones, it’s like fighting the Hulk. Word of advice - it’s usually frowned upon to try and offer a teenager drugs, and many teens will decline before murdering you in a brutal fashion.

Young Kids:

Kids under the age of ten make better stooges, but if they have good parents, it’s harder to make them do what you want. Some  manipulation persuasion tactics that I’ve used in the past with young kids include:

Convincing a boy that I was sent by his deceased father to be his companion/playmate (successful for about two days, not recommended for the long term)

Convincing a girl that her mother was not her biological mother in order to fill that maternal role with my ex instead

Convincing another girl that I wanted to play a game called ‘Hide the Soul’ then possessing her body (RIP Alice Pierce)

Little kids are surprisingly easy to convince that your way is for the best, but this gift is to be used sparingly in order to avoid the risk of said kid getting wise to what’s happening and not following your leadership. Another top tip - if the child you are trying to manipulate persuade has protective older relatives that are surprisingly skilled with a variety of weapons and forms of combat, figure out at least five potential exits from the situation or else you will be killed.

Introducing Your Biological Children To Your Interests:

As previously mentioned, I have two kids of my own. Can I tell you how old they are? …No, I’m not actually sure. I wanna say twenty? No… they were ‘born’ in 2004, so… nineteen at the most.

Anyway, my kids- twins, Glen and Glenda- are quite strange. The older one didn’t see the value of murder, and the younger one seemed kinda psychotic when I met them. But still, I tried to install a love of violence in my eldest child, because that’s how I bond with others.

What I did was I took my older child out hunting late at night when their mother was sleeping (‘recovering from addiction’, don’t ask). I even introduced the kid to a celebrity (before mercilessly killing them… oops, I did it again) as we made our way to the house of a guy I didn’t like. My intention was to have the kid watch, but they were clearly so inspired by the incident in the car that they decided to take matters into their own hands. I’ve never been more proud, and I was even prouder a day or so later when they used what I taught them to kill me.

Now, I’m not saying that this technique will work for everyone, but it was very effective for me. Of course, every child is different. I mean, take my little Glenda for example (not so little anymore really). They were in control for all of five minutes, but they used their limited time in control of the body to murder a woman with a flamethrower and then make an incredible joke about it. That’s the sort of talent that a kid has to be born with, whereas my older child Glen had to coaxed into killing, but when they did, it was absolutely glorious.

So my advice to you, dear reader, is to choose an interest of yours that you’re best at to focus on and pass on to your child. If they pick it up and have a talent for it, great! Your talent will live on. But if they don’t quite get it or like it, it’s still a much needed chance to bond with your child, especially if you don’t see them for years.

Reaching Out To The Children You Haven’t Seen For Years As An Adult:

I have a lot of experience with this. Andy Barclay, Barbara and Nica Pierce as well as my own kids have all gone many years without seeing me, and when I reentered their lives, I did it in a big way. Murder attempts are a classic way to go, but what if you’re looking for henchmen assistants? Two words for you, my friends: compliments and persuasion. Young kids will believe almost anything you say (see above) and older kids who are starved for affection will do whatever you ask in the hopes of receiving more affection. It’s foolproof.

Final Words:

Kids are interesting, complex tiny humans who don’t quite understand how the world works. I’m not an expert, but I did consult my childhood therapist whilst writing this, who told me the following:

‘Small children are ridiculously easy to mould and teenagers are ticking time bombs of anxiety. He or she who controls children controls the future.’

Do I think that’s a good takeaway from this guide book? Not quite, even I think that’s a tad too far. I just felt it was necessary to include it, because it’s… certainly a quote.

Their daughter they have together that's named Daisy (she's biologically Chucky and Piper's daughter, but Tiff is her mom too so yeah)!!

You can see her and some of her basic info right here!

But basically she came along when Glen and Glenda were 6 and Jake and June (Junior at this time) was 3 (yes The Rays still adopt Jake and Junior in this self insert AU) when the three of them were really wanting to go for another child of their own (most esp Piper and Chucky) and since Piper had been wanting to carry their own baby for a long time at that point, they pretty much all dove into having her straight away

And since they're all dolls possessed via voodoo magic, that said magic caused Piper to conceive and give birth in a pretty short amount of time (for Piper, it took 10 days of pregnancy for her to get to full term and give birth to Daisy)!

And another bonus fact is that Chucky was the one that named her!

It was the hottest day of the month in the middle of an intense summer that was altering everyone's moods. Spending winter in company wasn't as difficult for Andy as that abnormally hot summertime had been. They were uncomfortable, he was uncomfortable and no one had the willpower to lift a finger about it. 

Two fans in a living room that wasn't huge to start with and a man with two boys trying to find relief was quite a desperate sight. Andy was laying on the largest couch and Junior was on the floor, mimicking a similar position with the addition of a lifeless-like expression. On his part, Jake was moving in synchrony with the rotating movement of the fan that was closer to him. 

" Couldn't you pay some more and get a cabin near a lake?" Junior began to complain at some point in the afternoon. " We would be diving in cold water ríght now. " 

The wishfulness in his tone at the end of the sentence spoke for himself. 

" You picked the wrong side for luxuries, kid. " Andy frankly replied. " If you wanted that sort of shit you should have stayed with Tiffany. Chucky would have been glad of exchanging you for a TV on the post divorce division. " 

Jake laughed and his cousin wished he had anything close to throw at him, or the energy to do it. 

" Don't listen to him, that's just the rich kid inside of him speaking. " Jake deepened the mocks. "Junior wouldn't change you for a lake house. " 

" ... Well, my brain is slowly frying so excuse me if i say dumb shit. " 

"... The less he would trade you for is a Beverly Hills Manor." 

Junior seemed upset to the core and that got an energical reaction out of him.

" Now YOU are saying dumb shit, Jake! I have lived with Andy more than you and I have become an expert survivalist. I'm laying on the floor because it's colder, what is your strategy?" 

" Moving with the wind." 

Imagining the hilarious visual made Andy look at Jake and when he noticed it the boy exaggerated the motion to make him laugh. 

Junior took advantage of the small mood improvement. 

" Dad, can we get an air conditioner?" 

It was weird for Andy to be addressed like that, even more from him but not precisely because it was more emotional than usual. 

His kids always used to call him mom.

" Holy shit, Jun! Are you alright?" 

" I'M BURNING ALIVE!!!" Junior screamed, acting as if he was clumsily attempting to raise. " PLEASE, I BEG YOU" 

Both kids have secretly wondered all summer why they wouldn't have one already. 

" You need a certified technician for that. " The man hesitantly explained. " ... I don't like to have strangers at home. Why do you think I live in the woods?" 

Jake had a good answer for that. 

" So nobody in miles would hear the screaming ?" 

" We know you are the ' i do all on my own' guy, but we can't deal with this shit anymore. " Junior followed, making snarking escalate. " Save that energy for when you try to impress Nica by changing tires." 

Andy actively chose to ignore the last part. 

" Cooling the cabin is a process. If we wanna do it ríght, we need permits. What if someone sees something weird when they come to check the place for the install?"  

The excessive caution of that man knew no límits.

Jake needed to ask an obvious question regarding that extremism. 

" What's next? Are you going to tell us you are afraid Chucky could take his time to find out you solicited a permit, find our technician and possess them, come here and try to kill us all? " 

" I didn't have that in mind, but now that you mention it..." 

" Andy, you are a certified paranoid. " Junior added in the counter strike. " Normally I would say that is awesome, but now it's making us roast in our own fluids. " 

" Yeah, it's not like we can pray to Damballa for good weather. " 

Jake was just joking, but Junior thought it was a brilliant idea.

" Wait a sec... Everytime Chucky speaks to him, it starts raining. " 

" Don't fuck with that, dumbass. What are we gonna do if he demands a sacrifice? " 

" We have our first volunteer!" Junior cheered, ready to pretend he would go macabre. " Thank you, Jake. I will think of you once the air will be breathable again." 

They were coming up with crazier ideas each minute that the bickering lasted. Luckly, Nica showed up at the ríght moment. 

" Let's be rational. " She attempted to calm the boys down. " ... I'm sure Andy can kill a deer in our names and it would be just fine." 

Andy couldn't help laughing and she wheeled closer to him. 

One sweet smile of hers and he was done. 

" So... What should we try first? Getting a cooling system or the voodoo sacrifice?"

Update: Like the TV series, in this AU, Caroline sided with Chucky and Tiff, but the only thing was that she let Tiffany possess her sister's body.

Guess what?

It’s the 2 year anniversary of the day I posted my first ever full blown completed Chucky fanfic, “Smells Like Teen Spirit”!

This fic is my pride and joy, my baby, I love it so much. It got some nice attention on AO3 but basically 0 on Tumblr. But I figured that since it's been 2 years, maybe I should post it on here and see who would like to read it.

There's 22 chapters, 24 if you count the prologue and epilogue, and I worked my ass off on this. It started off as a random post where I had an idea that Junior would possess a Good Guy doll and then it spiraled to the point that I ended up writing and completing it all by myself, the first time I've ever done that.

The thing is, I always planned to write a "spin-off" of this story, a series of oneshots to continue where Junior's story goes. But I never got around to it due to school, the loss of Junior fans on AO3, and personal beliefs changing (there's a hint of Niffany in here and despite me making it as non-toxic as possible, my opinion on the ship has changed so I don't think I could ever write that again).

I know there are some Junior fans on here so I thought...why not share this to some people who haven't read my fic before? So here I am, sharing it on a very special day when I wrote the prologue while in Mexico visiting family.

Also, shoutout to my #1 fan @fairchilds-glasses who followed this story since the beginning, I appreciate it so much <3

Alice Befriends Junior AU

100% got this idea at 5 in the morning because I woke up to some crazy ass loud thunder and winds and rain

Andy has a huge fear of thunder and lightning because of Chucky since that was the main thing he’d hear whenever Chucky tried to possess him. He never told anyone about his fear and tried his best to hide it especially around Alice, since the thunder and lightning made her scared too. He would hear her knocking on his door and immediately go to comfort her.

Over the years, Alice began feeling less scared but she started to notice that Andy was trying not to show his fear around her, so she would come by each time whenever there was thunder and lightning, pretending to be scared and needing comfort, when in reality, Alice was comforting Andy.

Alice didn’t tell Nica about Andy’s fear of thunder and lightning, it was something Nica figured out when they began dating and she was sleeping with her head on Andy’s chest. He kept flinching during each clap of thunder and she could feel just how fast his heart was beating. So Nica started rubbing his chest, trying to find ways to soothe him discreetly without embarrassing Andy.

Oh, I can absolutely imagine that!

Alice had always gone to Nica’s room if there was a storm when they were staying there, and Ian would often check on her when they were at home because he knew she was scared. Alice was worried about getting into trouble when she first lived with Andy but was overall scared of the storm more so went to see him, and it comforted both of them to have someone else there.

As Alice got older, storms didn't necessarily scare her as much, but it still reminded her of the night her family was killed so she wasn't exactly fond of it making those memories resurface. She would still always go to see Andy and tell him that she was scared because of the storm and memories but she had promised him when she was 8 that she would never tell anyone he was scared too. It was a strange moment for Alice when she found out, simply because she was still at the age where she thought grown ups weren't scared of anything.
