Instead of socks....

Hey There Fam! As you all may know I"m pretty independent and self motivated. (Insert countless number of jobs and internships) But I've hit a plateau and need help. (I hate asking for help ::sigh::)

Recently I've started a Production Company with my best friend Sara, June Baby Productions.  One project in particular of JBP and that I'm host of, TheeKatsMeoww, has recently caught the attention of an ad agency and as a result I'll be the spokeswoman for this upcoming January. Along with that, we've successfully attained three clients all of which we'll be producing videos for, marketing and branding. 

We both have camera's but no mics or lights. On top of that I spend countless hours at my school's computer lab because they have several designing programs that I need in order to produce logo's and marketing material. Considering what we're working with, we've done great for ourselves but here's where you can help.

The holidays are coming up and instead of those pair of socks you were going to pick up for me, why not donate to the building of my business? 

What will your contributions actually be going towards:

Design/Editing Programs -InDesign, Illustrator/ FinalCut 10

Desktop -Considering the amount programs I use for my clients, my laptop no longer can function with that much memory. I'm coming to the realization that If I'm really going to make this my career path I need to commit fully and start saving up for a desktop. 

Equipment -External Mics & lights

I pride myself on being self sufficient and an extremely hard worker. I sincerely hate asking for anything but I've come to the realization that success doesn't only come from an individuals efforts but from the support of the people that love them the most.

Today June Baby Productions met up with a few members of the 5 Crew Dynasty, a break dance crew located in Queens, New York. Their crew has been together for over five years. We feel like their passion and roots in our borough of New York would make them a great asset of June Baby Productions.

We want to portray them in a way we haven't felt they've been portrayed yet. June Baby Productions would follow them around, capturing their daily life of exercise and practice. We'd also get individual interviews with each crew member so each one of them can shine. Along with plenty of footage of their events and dance routines. So fingers crossed that after they discuss our proposal with the rest of their crew, we can begin our filming.
