JULY RECAP

It was a good month. I’ve done a lot of things and I am proud of that.

I had two weeks break from school and I really needed some time for myself away from work. I was able to start working on my project and hopefully I will be able to apply it soon (I am not done yet, but I am almost there).

As for the sections, I did well for most part. I still need to put more effort in some, like socialization and exporation. I need more time to relax, the Gods know I am craving it. 

Overall, I am happy with July. August will be better, I feel it!

Well, August didn’t start off how I expected, which is why I’m a bit delayed in getting my recap up for July. Unfortunately, my cat Fox was unexpectedly hospitalized again last weekend with congestive heart failure, but she’s back home now with a new dose of meds to help keep that in check. Fresh Finds - July

Forever - Babymonster. First BM song I've liked! A proper pop ballad. Love me a sung chorus that just explodes, and cherry on top is the YG party chorus at the end.

Rise Up - NiziU. A fun swanky song. Not special but satisfying.

Chk Chk Boom - Stray Kids. First Stray Kids title track I've liked since Back Door. I watched part of their interview before release and they were totally right about it being SKZ with pop influences. I love Changbin's syncopated rap in the second verse.

BELIEVE - NiziU. Been a while since a song seized me like this. But the chorus just soars. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

SLASH - Stray Kids. It's like boy crush and also a lil sexy. Cool.
