I was looking for some cutesy mileven fanart on twitter and stumbled across an artist I follow being homophobic towards bylers, so here’s a rant.

This whole thing probably won’t be very organized at all but this shit got me actually upset and I’ve been a silent member of the ST fandom for so long now and I have the urge to address this crap.

This is the first print I found when looking trough my notifications, I didn’t really think anything of it at first but with the context of another tweet, this one, posted by the artist themselves, makes it very clear that the intent behind this repost was not to talk about fetishization of queer people but to be hateful.

I don’t think I really need to elaborate on what is wrong with this one

The main problem here is not the homophobia (even tho it is a HUGE problem that I’ll also address separately later) , but the fact that this person, and multiple other within this and other fandoms, keep justifying their prejudice behind shipping.

I have seen so many people saying the most awful stuff to try and prove that their ship is the “right one” or “better one” or anything similar to that. I’ve seen misogyny, homophobia and ableism just by looking trough the byler/mileven tags here on Tumblr.

It is not okay to be aggressive and hateful just because you have a disagreement with someone over something as simple as shipping, and it’s even worse to involve shipping in your hate.

If you are going to be a bad person, just do it. Don’t try to pretend to be above that because of who you ship. Acting like that not only will make you look bad for being homophobic and trying to excuse it, but also helps with the negative stigma over ships.

When you do that type of shit, you are actively giving a bad name to your ship and harming other shippers who didn’t do anything.

This kinda of behavior is what results in the “bylers are ableist” and “milevens are homophobes” discourse, because “how can you say that it’s not true when it is happening before our very eyes”.

By acting like this you are causing aggressive behavior within the fandom to worsen, you harm yourself, the people you are being prejudicial towards and other fans.

Do you dislike the ship and not want to see stuff about it? Filter the tags, mark it as “non interested in this” and most importantly DONT INTERACT.

Don’t go commenting on someone’s edit because you think your ship is better, don’t go around talking about how “X ship sucks because-” whatever the reason is. By doing that you are inevitably spreading hate and making more content of that ship appear to you.

I can’t tell anyone to “not be homophobic” because that is something that people need to do for themselves.

It’s not just about being super straight forward with the prejudice either.

What I believe to be the case with a lot of homophobes is that they are incapable of understanding that they are causing harm to the LGBT+ community even if they don’t “technically hate it” and are just “not supportive”

You don’t have to be actively saying stuff like “all (respective slur to whatever minority it is) should die!” A phobia is not only to hate or be scared of something, but a general aversion towards it with no rational reason.

You can’t just “not support it” because you are just trying to make yourself look and feel better about something you know is wrong. By “not supporting” queer people you are also not supporting people’s rights to be themselves; sexuality, gender and romantic attraction are not a thing that people can change, it is a part of you.

You can claim that you just disagree with their life choices as much as you want, but in reality it is just as bad as any other prejudice. Racism is also about people not having the rights to be who they are and live normal lives.

They are both equally awful.

I won’t be accepting any comments claiming that one is worse than the other, because pain is not something to be compared. Both have caused great suffering and deaths of many people across the years

I won’t be diving any deeper into the racism discussion because of I did I would have to get into how people treat Lucas and Erica in comparison to the other characters and I have already seen a great post diving into that topic (I’ll try to find it and link it in the comments if anyone is interested)

I will also be adding, the don’t interact thing also counts for proshipping content. Most proshipping accounts are from people doing rage bait and it is common knowledge that many problematic people thrive with attention, don’t hate, don’t DM, just report it and block them.

I also won’t be going deeper into this topic cause it brings many discussions on what’s okay and what��s not when it comes to fictional content and how it affects people, and if were to say everything I thought of the topic this rant would be just a book.

I really had the need to write this down after seeing those tweets because I am a queer mileven shipper and I just hate that I have to be associated with people like that because I think Mike and El make a cute couple.

I just really want our fandom space to be more pacific, fighting and being disrespectful towards people because you think fictional character A would be better with C instead of B is silly and makes the fandom experience worse for most people.

I like to live by the principle that you shouldn’t say anything if you don’t have anything good to say, and I believe we could all have more harmony if hateful people kept the hate to themselves.

This goes for other fandoms other than Stranger Things too.

TL;DR: Shipping different characters is not a justifiable reason to be an asshole to anyone.

on the eighteenth by skittidyne (T) 5k /KuroKen/ I love fics where the characters are forced to face their feelings. This is one of those fics LOL. It’s done so well and the small details (as Kenma loves) are inserted really well. Like the first night where they fake doing stuff? Amazing LOL.

Punches by Sebastians_senpai (M) 1.5k /IwaOi/ hot Iwa hot bamf Iwa. Like entrance? Hot. Killing people? Hot. Anyway I want a boyfriend who will protect me if I get hurt. Can I be Oikawa? (you know being Oikawa would be an honor in itself)

just a boy undercover (and a boy with the getaway) by volchitsae (M) 14.1k /SakuAtsu/ twin fight rendition number idk but it’s good so whatever LOL. Is it really a SakuAtsu fic without one mention of a major twin fight? (probably yes but in this case no LOL) This one was SO good and I love how annoying Sakusa is >>>> for Atsumu. Also the acceptance at the end ajfakdlf HEART WARMED.

to crash in orbit by aceun (T) 2.8k /SunaOsa/ I LOVE BEING UNPROFESSIONAL ON THE JOB!!!!!! I adore how they know each other’s tendencies and how Osamu is like, I know he’s hot LOL. Also when they talked about Rome and Prague it made me laugh OMG. And RIP Osamu’s watch, worked hard never to be seen again LOL.

the unfinished kiss by Ellieb3an (E) 6.3k /SakuAtsu/ I told myself, less or no smut, but here we are. Honestly you’d think I learn I never stick to my own rules LOL. Anyway, this is SPICY so avoid if you don’t like smut heheh. I absolutely love when they use fighting as foreplay like adflkhf yes PUNCH HIS FACE (does that make me violent? probably LOL).

In knives and bullets by badreputation (M) 8.3k /SunaOsa/ UGH this one. Suna and Osamu’s relationship is *chef’s kiss*. And like I love how it isn’t too rushed and they took their time (also angry Suna is HOT). Like the tension at the house during the thing and then the PROPOSAL (LIKE YES). I always find myself coming back to this fic cause I just really love it <3

training by Sebastians_senpai (M) 3.2k /IwaOi/ again the smut.... ANyway, this one is some bamf Oikawa and head-made-of-steel Iwa LOL. Also some avengers talk makes it’s way up (and need I say, Iwa probably did look hot af when he did that), and him constantly hitting the other guy (cause spoilers hehe) made me laugh (ie. targeting LOL).

glass stained black by unrequitedangst (E) 31k /SunaOsa/ OKAY I said nO mAfIa Au’s well.... Technically it’s a SPY mafia AU so teehee. Also another repost cause why not LOL (but altered cause my writing is atrocious). The character development of Osamu is really legit and despite being mafia, it’s not that heavy or angst of a fic (but you should still definitely read tags and warnings first). It’s a non-linear fic (which I really liked, cause I love non-linear hehe) and the organization just adds another level to the fic development!

I love BAMF so if you have any to recommend, DO IT. Always up for more bamf/spy/secret agent AU’s HEHE. Also this turned into a collection of the same ships LOL IM SORRY, but I have a type and I think it’s very obvious hehe. I hope you all were careful about tags because I got lazy LOL. A. I draw and animate with paint tool SAI v.1! The program isn’t meant for animation. I just draw all the frames in paint tool sai and then run them through a gif compiler to make them move.

A. As long as you credit me in some way, you can definitely use my animations and art as icons, header for your blog, and discord emoji. 

Q. Can I repost your art on other sites?

Fanfiction FAQ

Q. Can I use your fics for my fanfiction readings? (ex. Youtube)

A. Ask me! Most fics I probably won’t mind as long as I am credited and a link to the fic is posted in the description. However, there may be a select few I would rather not, so drop me a line and we can talk about it!

Q. Do you write for any other fandoms/characters?

A. Nope! I’m only interested in Hawks from BNHA, so that’s all I write! Hah. Eventually one day I may become interested enough in another character to write something for them, but also probably not ;u; 

Q. Do you write “dark” content, like Yandere or non!con?

A. Generally speaking, no. If I ever got a really good idea I can’t shake down the road, the “Yandere” dynamic may be a lightly used possibility. To the point it probably wouldn’t even be yandere tbh tho hah. Non!con will never appear in my fics, though. Anything generally abhorrent you can be sure I won’t write about. HOWEVER, I do occasionally reblog fics others may find triggering. Always read the warnings authors leave before taking peeks!

Q. I don't like that you often describe things about the reader in your fics. Such as cheeks going red, pink nipples, or their gender.

A. All of my fanfictions are written about myself with me in mind. I try to stray away from outright describing reader by physical traits, since i want everyone to feel included! But at the end of the day I am one person with a world view limited to my own experiances. There will be times its obvious I have fair skin/certain type of hair/particular body features in my writing. I try to be as vague as possible, but please keep in mind the author here is a fair skinned cis female, and I write as a form of escapism with myself in mind first.

Q. You haven’t posted anything in a while! Are you still writing?

A. Yes! I like to take my sweet sweet time with my fanfictions, and im never rushing or in a hurry to update. Sometimes I work on a piece and decide to keep it for myself and not share at all, if its too personal or special to me. I love writing a lot, and if i havent updated in a while be sure to know I havent stopped. Im just enjoying the process of creating without worrying about any deadlines, and that can take weeks to a few months.

MUSE: Captain Red Handed Jessica

Three Strengths:

     Her adaptability and resourcefulness.  Is she brave, yes.  Is she lucky, also yes.   But over all, she can roll with the cards she’s been dealt in a way that many would call inhumanly clever.  Her intelligence, her perception, and her charisma are all different ingredients of this indomitable characteristic of hers.  She can see the value in just about anything and anyone, can pick up on clues and tangents few others can follow, and can remember seemingly endless details, tho unfortunately not on command.  But even then, her patchy memory seems to contribute to this adaptability as well, as it usually allows for detachment.  If she can find resources everywhere, it means she can survive everywhere. There have been countless times where the wheel of fortune has suddenly turned on her and she’d lost near everything and her response was more or less Damn, ok I need food water and shelter lets go.  No food?  Grow food.  No water?  Ask someone if they have water.  No shelter?  Sleep outside.  No money?  Steal money.  Can’t hear anymore?  Cool I can use loud weapons.  Crashed on an island?  My island now.  Shot?  Free bullet.  She knows when to push, she knows when to quit, and sometimes she knows when to gamble based on her ability ( what a man can do and what he can’t do and all that ).  Strong she may be, she knows its foolish to rely on strength.  Survival of the fittest actually rarely means survival of the strongest. ( edit; this is the theme for the entirety of her character. I will say it 50,000 times. I am very sorry ).  And as a student of philosophy and biology, she understands that phrase better than most. Leading to our next point.

     Her understanding.  As I stated, her charisma is something unmatched, and is a key element in all three of her strengths.  This charisma might not exist as prominently were it not for her ability to understand.  She has limited ( I’ll get back to that ) but deep running empathy and while not terribly observant all the time, she is always perceptive.  Not only that, but she’s personally known abuse, hardship, and uncertainty, and understands that hate or anger can be rooted in similar pain.  She was schooled lightly in both Christian and Buddhist values before diving heavily into democratic philosophy, meaning she believes all being experience suffering and therefore kindness is a powerful sign of strength, but also that suffering while free and equal is better than comfort in oppression.  And between her sweet words and beautiful face, she can get most people to open up in ways they themselves my not have expected.  Being very good with people means she can learn from them, gain something from them, lead them, and/or use them.  But Jessica isn’t a manipulator in truth; her intentions are almost always kind or healthy ones.  She absolutely uses people from time to time but not EVER without them consenting to or being made aware of such because again, unlike a manipulative person, she understands that can ruin a relationship and therefore ruin a resource.  What it makes for is an excellent leader, a beloved captain, and a trusted ally at most and an excellent conversationalist at the least.      But her understanding isn’t just social, oh no.  It’s academic as well.  Armed only with his little library and the lessons of his own teachers, Jessica’s foster father tirelessly smithed her into a not just a girl who knew a lot of things, but a truly intelligent, thinking mind. He’d die before learning he’d succeeded tenfold.  Jessica isn’t one to just except things as they are, facts or otherwise.  She usually needs to prove it, experiment, see things from a new angle.  Debates with her are fun!  She has no issue admitting she’s wrong or confessing she’s never thought of it that way, and is actually wrong a lot of the time.  It doesn’t bruise her ego, it excites her.  It means there’s more to learn.  And her ability to constantly understand new concepts paired with her ability to overwhelmingly understand people combine to make for a very powerful core idea of hers:  We are fittest to survive because we all fit together.  Our humanity, our empathy, our community are our strengths because they keep us united, which keeps us the fittest.  No one is independent, no man is an island.  People are power. And thus her final strength is just that.

     Her power.  While she and I still firmly state that strength isn’t everything don’t be disillusioned; its very goddamn important.  And it’s something Jessica has plenty of.  She is durable and clever because of her rocky early childhood, she is quick and versatile from her youth in a pirate port, she is physically strong and mighty from her years training in martial arts, and she’s an absolute crackshot after years of diligent practice with her trusty pistols.  Her true strength may lie in her brains and in her allies yes, but even without them, Red Jessica is a powerhouse of a warrior.  She can end fights extremely quickly or run from them without a prayer of catching her ( no shame in the later, both skills keep you alive ).  And it may be in bad taste to say, but ever since loosing most of her hearing, Jess swears up and down it’s made her vision better, her reaction time faster, and her quick thinking even quicker.  Yes of course she’s slowed down with age, but a bullet shoots at the same speed no matter how old you are.  And you best hope she didn’t bring her firecrackers, because while sudden loud noises will absolutely temporarily discombobulate or debilitate an opponent with healthy hearing, it’ll hardly effect her at all and suddenly, you’re a sitting duck.  You see those thighs?  You see those calves?  She can crush PINEAPPLES with them!  People have seen her do it!  Do you know how many micro-fractures broke and rebuilt those hands?  Thousands!  She can crush a trachea like a fucking beer can!  She can kick you to death!  One ill placed curb stomp and you are DECEASED.  Sometimes she’ll just psyche you out because she KNOWS you know she can kill your stupid ass!       But while her strength, mental and physical, have always been there, her power is relatively new.  As stated before, people are power.  Not knowledge, not money, not strength.  People.  She’s a fearsome warrior but she’d be useless if outnumbered.  Shes a very successful pirate, but she’d never make it out of port without a crew on her ship.  She found a gorgeous island, but it’d still be wild without those who built it’s piers and buildings.  She manages orchards and tends to them and harvests them herself, but she would loose all of her crop without the helping hands of her employed farmers.  And like I mentioned, she deeply understands this.  Freedom is not independence or vice versa.  Did you make the clothes on your back or the fabric that made those clothes?  Did you write the books you read to make you smarter or teach you that skill?  Did you plant the seed years ago that grew that orange you’re eating?  No, of course not.  Jessica didn’t either.  Another human did.  We all need each other to fill the holes in our lives that we can’t fill ourselves.  Humans are puzzle pieces in that way, there is no bigger picture or prayer for survival on our own.  And because of this, we can do anything we as a community, as a SPECIES work together to achieve.  There is no knowledge if there’s no one to learn from, there is no money if a society don’t give it value, your money is worthless if those you’re paying decide to rise against you, your role as leader only exists at the consent of those you lead, and your strength won’t save you from a sinking ship.  People are, and always will be, power.       And as someone who is exceptionally strong and exceedingly smart, Jessica has slotted herself in the humanity puzzle thusly: The strong exist to protect the weak, the smart exist to educate, and the lucky exist so the unlucky may be given aid.  And it is with this fairness and compassion that she has won the trust of so many.  She has a great many friends and allies even outside of those in her crew or on her island.  And she can make many more with ease.  That kind of power is not a power to be trifled with, even if she can kick your ass six ways to Saturday without it. 

Three Weaknesses:

     She suffers ADHD.  Now before ANY OF Y’ALL SAY ANYTHING, I myself also suffer ADHD.  And yes I do say suffer because well that’s what it causes for Jessica and I, suffering.  Yes, it is ableist language to say ‘suffering from’ rather than ‘has’ or ‘is diagnosed with’ and yes it perpetuates a stigma against us but god DAMN IT in both Jessica’s case and mine, it make life much much harder than it needs to be.  At the end of the day, Red Jessica is a fantasy of mine; I pour myself into her whether I mean to or not.  She’s the adult I wish I was, the person I might be if I had no anxiety, or brainfog, or lived in a world were I didn’t need a credit score or a degree. And even then, I can’t say I know anyone else’s problems better than my own.  So if my character has problems, by sheer osmosis they are going to reflect some of mine.  Both of the characters I write have ADHD because I have ADHD and I couldn’t even begin to know how a non-ADHD mind works to write it properly.  And no, I’m not being dramatic when I say it causes me suffering.  I can’t drive, I can’t hold down a job, I nearly flunked out of school, I still cant read very fast or spell very well, I am constantly overwhelmed by mundane things, I’m a slow learner, I forget very important things or recent things, I forget about things that mean the world to me, I forget about people, I stumble through tasks, I procrastinate hobbies and basic hygiene, and everything I do takes all goddamn day and I can only really do one important thing at a time and in order of importance.  If I have a date at 4pm, I’m dressed and ready at 11am because I’ve gotta do the important thing first or else I will forget to do the important thing.  I started typing this at a little before 5pm.  It’s 7;30.  It’ll probably be 10 o’clock at night by the time I fucking finish ( edit: l m a o its 1am bitch you thought ).  I’m 26 and am just medicated enough to barely function.  So yeah.  Suffering is the word.       Though for Jessica, perhaps suffering is a tad strong of a word.  Her ADHD affects her ability to function in far less debilitating ways ( though whether that’s a result of a less severe diagnosis than me or the result of the society, situations, and responsibilities she functions in and around are far different from mine, who’s to say ).  For her, she has very consuming hyperfixations that can last anywhere between weeks to decades, a spotty memory that is detail and memento oriented,  she’s scatterbrained more often then not but can focus with amazing clarity on her interests or in high adrenaline situations, is is ABYSMALLY bad at math and EXCRUCIATINGLY bad with numbers ( as opposed to me, who is good at numbers but shit at spelling or reading ), she can forget anything no matter how important it is to her or to anyone, she’s bad with names and dates, is COMPLETELY time-blind, has trouble prioritizing, and of course, wile not actually that materialistic, she absolutely has the ol’ magpie instinct.       While her poor memory assists in her adaptability and ability to move on, it also means she forgets things she needed to remember, like when the last time she bathed was and who this person is and what happened between her and someone else or what conversation’s shes had.  Unfortunately this means she’s a very good friend and leader... while you’re around and interacting with her on at least a weekly basis.  It’s almost a lack of object permanence in both a social and very real sense.  If something is not right in front of her, odds are she’s not going to think about it.  And while its something she constantly kicks herself for and actively tries to be better about, it applies to people too.  Face to face is the best way to interact with her; she won’t think to write you and in her modern verse she won’t think to ever call and she’ll text you back in perhaps a few days.  She doesn’t value you any less, I promise.  She’s just either distracted or overwhelmed.  Also, for someone as understanding as her, she is surprisingly self-centered.  Not selfish, self-centered.  She’ll talk about herself more than she should, and will assume people understand that she’s doing so as a form of showing empathy rather than bragging when they may not know this at all.  Actually she accidentally assumes all the time.  It was far worse when her hearing was functional; she’d finish your sentence for you or guess what it was you were going to say ( again, not to talk over, you but to show she understands you and the conversation, tho it usually came of as annoying or patronizing ).  Sometimes she mistakenly assumes you believe or know the same things she does without even realizing it.  Maybe she perceives the right idea off of someone but isn’t observant enough to notice anything past that.  And while she is willing to change her mind about things, she might change her mind a tad too quickly.  She’s an over-sharer and is horrible at keeping any kind of secret.  Romantic relationships tend to fizzle out. Her impulse control is improving but has a VERY long way to go. She’s always chasing something new.       All and all, when you’re a pirate, a librarian, or even a captain, all of these things may be irritating and inconvenient, but are overall manageable in chunks.  ...But as a governor to her island, as a leader of an entire population... oof. In the position of leadership that she’s in, she can’t afford to make too many massive mistakes, and she knows this.  ‘There is no power quite like the power of being underestimated’ is a phase you’ll hear her say a lot but for her, there is a shift in connotation.  If people expect less and you do more that’s a great upper hand in any situation but for her, it was a safety net.  Having ADHD sometimes means going months or years being fine and then eventually you fuck up and everyone around you wonders how in the world you managed to do that.  She has only barely avoided disaster more times than she’d like to admit.  Even with the resourcefulness, the understanding, and the power she wields, she’s finally starting to realize that she’s bit off more than she might be able to chew, with the entire well-beings and livelihoods of others on the line.  And she fears that one day she’ll play her cards wrong and everything she’d built, everything she’s done, will all come crashing down in ruin.

     She is Hard of Hearing.  This one is literally as simple as it sounds: she has moderate and degenerative hearing loss and tinnitus after years of canons, explosions, gunshots, and a definitive, scale tipping attack in her early 30s.  Her ears just don’t work at all like they used to.  The whole world sounds like it would if everything was underwater: she can’t pin point the location of sounds, how far off or close sounds are, and barely registers changes in volume. And it only gets worse the older she gets; one day she won’t hear anything at all.  And while yes, again, it might be very harsh and ableist to say, the truth of the matter that being deaf a “ weakness ” more often than its a strength.       That said, it very well can be a strength.  I’ve already mentioned that trick with the firecrackers and let me tell you it is a DAMN EFFECTIVE TRICK.  Shes around explosions and canons and guns all the time and now she can focus while being around them five times better than she could in the past!  But unfortunately it also means she’s very easy to sneak up on, she sometimes isn’t aware of danger until it’s nearly too late,  no one can get her attention or warn her across any distance, it’s very easy to escape from her, and it’s easy for her to be just... left out of things.  She might hear you talking, but she has little to no idea what you’re saying without sign or lipreading.  Some people don’t have the patience or even just the courtesy to speak slower, or clearer, or repeat themselves a lot.  Though, those last too thinks aren’t weaknesses of hers so much as they are the weakness of others, but they still negatively affect her self esteem and her effectiveness as a leader.       All of this has taught her to pick her battles carefully, and plan around the elements of surprise and discombobulation.  And while communication was tricky at first, it only got easier, and now she can talk to you almost like anyone can, so long as she’s looking you in the face. 

     That damn bleeding heart.  We have established a number of things that should easily add up to an overly empathetic, trusting, fight-the-good-fight, martyr-some, idealistic pushover;  she believes humanity and kindness are strengths, she has taken on the role of leader and then a provider, she has known suffering and tasked herself with ending the suffering of others to the best of her ability,  she lacks the clarity of mind to assume people aren’t just as good or capable as her automatically, she can have poor impulse control at times,  she wants to have relationships, and ( while I never stated this outright yet it can be inferred  ), she believes that being able to see yourself in others is the foundation of humanity and ( as i did say outright ) humanity is what keeps us unified and unity is what makes us fit and strong.  Keeping up?  Good. Here’s the curve ball: How can she whole hardheartedly preach and believe all of this, to the point of it being the foundation of her character, WHILE BEING A VIOLENT THIEVING AND BLOODTHIRSTY PIRATE?!  HOW, MANGO? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!  Ok, fine, sure, I will. I’m sure about one half of you are looking up from the screen and going “ Oh yeah, wow I totally forgot that bit. “ and the other half got about two and a half paragraphs in before squinting and silently calling bullshit. So let me explain.      In short, she’s a detached hypocrite and is well aware and unashamed of her hypocrisy while far less aware of her detachment. I’ll cover both:  Western culture as a whole seems to be under the impression that hypocrisy, despite context or importance, is automatically bad.  I don’t know where this comes from personally ( my bet is Christianity but I have exactly 0 evidence ) but its a very... flawed idea.  Take the freedom of speech vs racism problem; say you owned a bar where all could speak their mind freely over cold drinks.  Excellent concept without context, right?  Sure. ....Then a die hard racist covered in slurs and symbols walks in and orders- what are you going to do?  The correct answer is to throw him out instantly.  Not let him sit so long as he doesn’t cause trouble, not just ignore him and hope he doesn’t return, you throw him out.  Is it hypocritical?  Yep!  Sure is!  But it is also 100% necessary to protect your other patrons because if you don’t, the racist starts feeling safe and bringing his racist buddies, literally everyone else starts feeling unsafe and starts to hang out elsewhere, and two months later, ta da!  You now own a n*zi bar and there is literally nothing you can do about it. Jessica is in a somewhat similar situation.  You as a pretend bar owner need to make a decision as who to let into your bar and who to throw out for the good of all of your patrons.  Jessica too is faced daily with that decision.  If she want’s to help as many people as possible, the only realistic way she can do that are by protecting those under her leadership... only.  She is surrounded by hateful, angry, sneaky, traitorous, abusive, or otherwise evil people.  Piracy as a profession and poverty in general can do that to a person.  Of course there is a clear difference between those down on their luck and desperate, and the truly cruel and twisted, but unfortunately both types of people yield the same wrongdoings.  It’s absolutely her nature to extend a hand to anyone and everyone but.... she just can’t anymore.  Too many times has her trust been betrayed, too many times has she gotten in peoples business trying to be helpful, only for her to absolutely bite her in the ass.  Too many time the extended hand is bitten and once or twice, she’s actually made things worse.       Now, she will only help someone she loves, someone under her leadership, or someone who seeks her out.  That’s it.  And even then, sometime it manages to bite er in the ass.  But she had to set that hard limit for herself out of necessity, one she does her absolute best to adhere too and... these days she adheres a little too well. That leads us to our next point; what I was alluding to at the beginning of her Understanding essay when I said she has limited but deep running empathy.  That detachment again, courtesy of a very unattached mother and unchecked ADHD. ( It isn’t a strong enough characteristic to even rank as a strength or a weakness but damn if it isn’t an undercurrent to a lot of her motivations and experiences. ) Strangers are fair game that she tries to ignore, but if she even perceives you as a threat, you could be in danger. Like anyone used to violence or perhaps anyone trapped in an us verses them mindset, she can just... flat... turn her empathy off.  Not on command, she’s not a socio or psychopath persay.  But she has become totally numb to the horror of violence via her warrior upbringing that, in her mind, violence can actually be rather fun. Pair that with the fact that she purposely tailored herself to only be empathetic to her allies and boom.  You get a kindhearted killer.  Cops and soldiers in our world do it literally every day.  Actually anyone can do it really, even you if you tried. You don’t have to be evil or even angry to kill or steal or lie... you just have to believe you’re right.

Three Secrets:

     WHAT SECRETS?!  LMAO this bitch is the oversharing queen!! I’ve been typing and pondering her character for literal hours ( its currently 11:16, fuck you adderall ), and I still can not think of a single goddamn secret.  There is nothing about her that at least five random people don’t fucking know about!! The only secrets she has are secrets she knows about other people and even then she is!! literally the worst!! She spills her guts left and right and yet she wants to be a mysterious bitch SO BAD like BABE I love you, you’re precious, but you are a dumbass attention seeking validation chasing adhd CLOWN girl!! Stop telling random people about your hermaphroditism or your dairy allergy or your dead dad or that time you fell asleep in a barrel like that is literally your uber driver Jessica honey come ooooon. I’m skipping this section mom holy fuck.

Three Fears:

     What if she does wrong by everyone who trusts her?  As stated at the end of the ADHD essay, she’s terrified of failing those she leads.  Where it as simple as personal failure, she’d be fine.  Ever if her entire world came crashing down on top of her she’d either die or start back from square one.  Death is a fact of life and her adaptability means she can just dust herself off and move on, so neither her death nor her failures really scare her... But it isn’t just her life and happiness at stake, is it? Not anymore, right?  What started as a leader of a small gang of rebels became a full crew, then a crew became a slew of allies, then those allies built a town and now... now she’s the governor of the Crimson Isle and there are nearly twenty five HUNDRED lives at her mercy.   HER mercy.  One really, really bad mistake could ruin their livelihoods or spark disorder and disloyalty.  And if she died?  Would whoever it is that will take her place be as good to them as she is?  Is she good enough to begin with in the first place? Every day the paperwork gets a little bit thicker, every year there’s a new baby or two.  And the isle has fertile soil sure but will it last?  Are they prepared for a raid or a hurricane?  And if Jessica trusts the wrong people, where her people right to trust her?  ...can I protect them? Can I protect them?! CAN I PROTECT THEM?!

     Who am I if I’m not interesting?  This is, literally, an entirely subconscious fear.  She’s not at all aware it exists and therefor this entry is short. But between her short time with her very unimpressed mother, her own ADHD, she is constantly hungry for attention without even realizing it.  She must be interesting and intriguing and engaging, and I did mention she wants to also be mysterious.  She wants not so much your input or even your validation - but rather if shes not perceived then.... is she really there? Remember, she is unaware of any of this.  And fortunately she’d never been starved for attention to act out over it in the first place, even when her disinterested mother was alive. Look at her; she’s radiant, she’s beautiful, and she’s 6′4 / 195 cm shredded and covered in cool scars. Without even opening her mouth, without even her colorful clothes, she’s kind of automatically interesting.  So she’s never been so desperate for attention that she acts out because she’s never been without it for very long.  But it’s there. Hungry, aching, silent.  Those years after the M branding were horrible and she could never really explain why.  She still throws parties, organizes festivals, and talks to damn near anyone who will listen.  Look at my art!  Look at my library! Listen to how much I know! Let me tell you how lovely you are! Look at my scares! Look at my hair! Look at me haha, please, please look at me. 

     GHOSTS. NOPE. No. NO. Fuck ALL of that noise. Stay dead, go to hell, eat a dick.  Red Jessica is a scientist and superstitious atheist. As an academic and somewhat bi-cultural woman she simply thinks there are far too many religions with far too much history for any of them to be considered The One True Thing You Must Believe Or ElseTM and she tends to not truly believe anything until she finds some kind of proof.  Shes not afraid of the unknown, shes thrilled by it. She’s not afraid of death or the afterlife, that’s beyond her control. She’s only superstitious because she does believe in and value luck, and also its a bit of a cultural habit. BUT IF SOME SHIT STARTS MOVING ON ITS OWN OR IF SHE SEES SOME BULLSHIT IN THE CORNER OF HER EYE THEN SHE IS OUT OF THERE. OUTIE 5000. She has heard the tales of lost souls from purgatory or the eternally ravenous Pret or dangerous Phi Tai Hong or the tragic and startling Banshees or the creepy Santa Compana and she wouldn’t believe a word of it where it not for one thing.      SHE FUCKING SAW ONE. She’ll never forget it, it was the first and last time she EVER attempted to plunder a tomb all Skyrim style and at first she thought it was one of the crewmean being creepy as shit until she got a good look and he was SEE THROUGH AS SHIT AND SKINNY AS FCUK AND SHE GOT LITERALLY CHASED THE FUCK OUT OF THAT JOINT. She does not CARE that some ghosts are just apparitions she does not CARE that some are friendly and trying to warn her of something if you are MOVING and DEAD at the SAME time get FUCKED. If any of y’all cringe try-hards bring a Ouija board to the party you are getting SENT HOME and BLOCKED. NO CAP.

Three Goals:

   She really only has one left. Listen its... almost 1am and ive been typing since like 5pm i think i covered goals somewhere in here but ive gotta throw in the towel but even then I’m kinda being serious.  Her only remaining goal is to find a suitable heir of some kind.  She wants what she’s built to fall into worthey hands but she could never seem to find a good parter and even when she did she couldn’t sustain a pregnancy ( you’d think that would be a huge deal but it hardly mattered to her oddly ).  So at 50 the option of having kids is out but there’s still plenty of hope for either adoption or a protege.  But then again, she’s so busy these days that she hardly prioritizes it like she wants to.

Nights like these are the ones you wish would last forever. You and Oikawa lie in your living room with The Office playing in the background. Cuddling with your best friend was nothing new. You had your head in his chest and his arms were wrapped around you.

“I missed you, y/n. The world just isn’t the same without you next to me,” Oikawa sighs while his fingers twirl the ends of your hair.

“Don’t be such a simp, Tooru,” You giggle and jab him lightly in the stomach. Even after years of being best friends, he was still able to make your heart race with his words.

Moments like these were rare since Oikawa became a professional volleyball player on the San Juan team in Rio. You were living your life, pursuing a career in nursing in Japan. You were both living your dreams, and Oikawa understood that.

Yet, he felt like something was lacking.

It was you. Sure, he had his fair share of flings, after all- he was Oikawa. He attracted everyone. With his charm and good looks, everyone is bound to fall in love with him. But no one was ever enough to get you off of his mind.

“How am I the simp? I just miss you, plus if I remember correctly, you were the one that cried when I sent you that snap of me wearing the shirt you gave me two years ago!” He teased lightly.

He knew how you felt about him, and he knew that you knew that he felt the same. Your relationship just happens to be filled with wrong timings and missed opportunities. It was almost as if the universe was mocking you both.

To him, you were the sun and he was the moon. You both needed each other to exist, but never at the same exact time. But then there were moments like these, as rare as a solar eclipse, where you both lineup.

With you in his arms and the tv light reflecting off of your face, everything just felt right and he wanted to tell you. He needed to tell you how he felt.

But just as like how brief eclipses are, the moment is gone.

“I wish you could stay longer,” your voice broke the silence. You were never one to ask him to stay, you would never ask him to give up his dream to stay in this small town. He was meant for more. More than you could offer.

“I know, tomorrow's flight is going to be a pain in the ass, but don’t worry your pretty little head y/n I’ll be back as soon as you start missing me,” Oikawa cautioned as he pinched your slightly pink cheeks.

You chuckled lightly. “Guess you’ll be back by next weekend then?”

“A whole week? It would take you a whole week to miss me? I’m so hurt!” In one swift movement, he turned over and straddled your legs and pinned your arms above your head with one hand and began to tickle your sides.

“To- Tooru-” You were laughing so hard, and to Oikawa- it was music to his ears. He never got tired of hearing it. Hearing it in person felt like he was taking a breath of fresh air. He missed it.

“Say you’ll miss me the second I leave!”

“N- no. Never”

“Then I guess I’ll never stop tickling you,” Oikawa shrugged.

After about another 10 seconds, you gave up.

“OKAY, I’LL- I’LL MISS YOU THE SECOND YOU LEAVE,” you yell while gasping for air.

Oikawa took a second to take the view in. Your eyes were bright and you had a dazed smile. The view from the top was beautiful. Your hair was spread around your head, and to him you were beautiful. He wanted to kiss you, right then and there. You laying there underneath him was so tempting. He stared at your lips. Soft and plump. His senses were overloaded.

Instead of kissing you, he opted to bury his face in the crook of your neck. He felt safe, knowing that you wouldn’t see him tear up.

“I don’t wanna go,” he whispered, his voice was so soft that you would have missed it if he wasn’t so close to you. The warmth of his breath tickled your neck.

Your positions were now switched and he was lying on top of you, and you were now running your fingers running through his hair. You could smell his shampoo and him. It was all too much.

He knew what you would say. You weren’t going to ask him to stay, instead, you would remind him that being in Rio was where he was meant to be, and he would mope and leave again. Then the cycle of missing you starts all over again.

“I know bub, but they need you…”

And I need you, he thought.

Most people at this time would be asleep, but you and Oikawa wanted to make the most of your little time left together, which meant- no sleeping.

Two Red Bulls later, the two of you were blasting One Direction in your living room and showing off your best dance moves.

Oikawa felt electrified. Dancing in your living room like idiots gave him a sense of excitement that not even the court could mimic.

Once you were both out of breath and on the floor facing each other, he couldn’t hold it anymore.

“I love you, and I know that this is wrong timing be- because I’m always gone but I think we could do it. I- I think we can do this. I’ll train harder, an- and maybe they’ll let me have more days off-” the words tumbled out of Oikawa's mouth like dominos.

“I love you too,”

“Wha- what?’’ You grab his hand and kiss his knuckles gently.

“I love you too Tooru, and you know that. I want to be with you too, but it’s just not our time,” you start to tear up.

“It wouldn’t be fair, to either of us. I don’t want the beginning of our relationship to start off with us being across the world from each other. You deserve better than that,” You said as a sigh escaped your lips as both your faces clouded with sadness.

You look him in the eyes for a moment and bring your hand to caress his cheek.

Oikawa closed his eyes and relaxed under your touch. You were both so close, foreheads touching. You wanted nothing more than to kiss his plump lips until you were breathless.

Instead, you move his hair to the side and kiss his forehead gently.

“Can I ask you something Y/N?” he whispers. Anxiety bubbles in his chest as he prepares to ask you something. He knew it was unfair, but this was the one time he wanted to be selfish. The one time he wanted to guarantee that you would wait for him. A promise.

“Anything,”

“Wait for me, okay?”

“Always,”

“Promise me, you won’t leave,”

“I’ve loved you since we were 16, what’re a few more months gonna do to me?” You teased gently to lighten the mood.

“Y/N… pleaseee. Promise me,” Oikawa pouted. He was always such a baby

“Oikawa Tooru, I L/N Y/N, promise to wait for you… as long you do the same,” you gave him a pointed look as you linked pinkies. His eyes held a soft gaze, his heart felt like it was working overtime while looking at you.

“Always?”

“Always.”

At this moment, Oikawa wasn’t afraid. He wasn’t scared to fall because he knew you were there to catch him with open arms.

[Translation] Tsukipro Info: Interview with Mutsuki Hajime’s voice actor, Toriumi Kousuke

Happy birthday, Hajime! I had a hectic schedule today but I’m glad I got to post this while it’s still his birthday in Japan (even tho at the limit). 

Honestly now, Toriumi is literally something else. I haven’t had so much fun translating something in a while, and if you start reading this, you’ll understand what I mean. Words of wisdom from Hajime’s voice actor ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆

The new ‘Tsukiuta.’ season brings forth the Gravi leader, Mutsuki Hajime, for the second volume! The drama part includes an episode from his old days with Haru…?

―— The ‘Tsukiuta.’ series embarked on a 4th season. Are there any changes in terms of acting compared to how it used to be in the beginning?

Toriumi: The fact that he’s not good at talking when he’s by himself and the fact everyone around Hajime-san considers him to be a ‘king’ when he himself has doubts about that are both things that have remained the same since the beginning of the series. He finds himself in an environment that changes rapidly and that may cause him anxiety at times, but someone, by the name of “Haru”, is there to pull him back to the surface. I think that’s another thing we know well. This time we also go through an episode from their high school days, and despite Hajime-san not having such complex feelings back then, we can still see how strong those two’s relationship is. He is the smartest among his classmates, the flawless, perfect human you could say, and this CD’s dialogues highlight once again his indisputable position in the top. But I think that position built walls of solitude around him, in a form peculiar to him. His results were good to begin with, though he’s the type who doesn’t want to lose to anyone after having reached the superlative; that goes without saying. He makes every effort to fill the gap between his self-evaluation and others’ evaluations of him…… what a 23-year-old (laughs). I also made my debut as a voice actor at the age of 23. Hajime-san’s mental age is probably somewhere around 43 years old. I guess that’s what makes him watch his surroundings a little more than he should. His faint heart and the way he tends to worry about things sometimes are far from how a 23-year-old should act.

―— It’s already been 6 years since Yayoi Haru became his combi partner. How would you describe the two’s relationship in a few words?

Toriumi: I think ‘the good, ol’ married couple’ would suit them, with Hajime-san being the husband of course, and Haru his wife. Even among the unit members, he's the one to do the back-up work, in the current drama tracks he tells Hajime-san “I’m here no matter what. If possible, right beside you.”, and he supports him from one step behind. This time there’s also an unusual conflict between Hajime-san and Haru, but well, fights are not uncommon things for married couples after all. As the other members are younger, there will always be sides that Haru won’t show to them. But the two are able to know what the other is feeling and their relationship has always allowed them to be direct with each other.

―— Tell us what the listeners should look for in this song.

Toriumi: If there’s ‘THE Hajime-san’, there’s also ‘THE Machigerita-kun’. This song’s world view and lyrics also bring forth Machigerita’s world in full force. It’s been a long time since I recorded something for the ‘Tsukiuta.’ series, but the instant I heard this song’s demo I thought “This is it. This is ‘Tsukiuta.’. Hajime-san, long time no see!”. My second thought was about how really difficult the song was. But now that I think about it, all the song recordings I’ve done for ‘Tsukiuta.’ have been like that (laughs).

Toriumi: It’s been a long time since I got a CD that digs into one’s character through both musical and drama parts. As the anime and other projects only boosted his evolution, it’s not something that brings him back to his roots, but it does convey his early beginnings. The song also turned out to be cool, so I think you’ll be able to enjoy listening to it. There are still more CDs to be released, so please take care of Six Gravity and the ‘Tsukiuta.’ series in the future.

Book 2 FAQ!

Book 1 FAQ Beginning of Book 2

Dang y’all, 14 chapters done for Book 2! It’s been a little bit of a struggle to hash them out on time BUT I deliver. I’ve asked, y’all keyboard smashed in my inbox...let’s get INTO IT!

4 KIDS?!

Yep. And all 4 of them are full of personality! I guess I dreamt them up to convey all of the unspoken parts of the My Hero universe (canon or not). 

Are the kid’s names in relation to their abilities?

No unfortunately, they’re names are based on their personalities/the major event that happened around the time they were born (no spoilers about it tho! Gotta read book 3 to know why!). Lili Perla is based off of Pearl from Steven Universe and their character type. Iwata El Roca is a nod to Luchador’s names and a character that passed away in the AU to honor them. Tensei Oro is a play on their family position, Tensei was the first born twin and his uncle was the first born, Oro is spanish for ‘gold’ and it’s a play on being first (ya know, because they give gold medals for 1st place!). Hanaka Rosa is a double trope name, Hanaka (Japanese: hana- flower, ka- power) is a nod to the tough girls with flower names in anime and Rosa (spanish: Rose) is a name used in telenovelas as the woman that causes all the romantic tension. I did the whole Japanese first name, Spanish middle name because thats what I want to do when I do have kids.

Why did Mineta have to be in this AU?

I hear you! The thing is that I DREAMT it like this. He’s the slightly incompetent teacher that gets dunked on by the parents. Good news is that he’s single and isn’t as gross in this part of the AU. He’s this AU’s punching bag if you will.

It was weird when you wrote in hate-crime/dorm incident bc I didn’t think about it that way...Why did you decide to explore it?

That part felt important to me to write. Yes the canon shows like actual crimes of different intensities, but not nessatreily hate-crimes done in schools. As you know, being LGBTQA+ in grade school is a terrifying thing to express if don’t want to stand out. The constant fear of peers judging you, bullies hurting you and teachers that seemingly don’t care about you if you come out is enough to silence anybody. Imagine that but in a hero school?! The hate-crime would be a villainous act and the culprit would have to do desperate measures to make sure nobody rats on them to maintain a clean image/record. Plus on the flip side, any ally that stands up for their oppressed peer is hailed the hero but they wouldn’t have to stand up for them if there were real consequences and punishment for the bullies. So in the AU, I wrote it how I’d want such hate-crimes to be handled. Not only justice but also accommodations for the victim.

The Mcdonalds order cracks me up! What is your Mcdonalds order?

I throughly enjoyed the Mcdonalds order part too. It’s a nod to the proposal in Book 1 when they went to Mcdonalds before the peer over. I wrote it to show that the family goes every now and then. My order is: Triple Cheeseburger, Large fries, Large sweet tea, 2 sausage and egg McMuffins & a cone. And yes, there will be a Mcdonalds order for every child because it drives the plot.

Will there be more interactions with the pro heroes from the canon series?

YES! Though old, theres more interactions planned with them. Of course, it’s all in Book 3 (trying not to spoil anything!).

Is it spoiler if you tell us if your kids (or one of them) becomes a villain?

I’ll tell y’all right now....NONE of my kids becomes a villain. It might look like one or two of them might from the way I wrote them but they’re just latina.

Will one of your kids be the next Ingenium?

Yes but I won’t tell you which one. But I can’t wait to reveal it to y'all!

I see all the call-backs to your self insert character’s past...Is it alluding to the conclusion?

I dreamt it as such and I fixed it in writing as a way to come full circle. Notice that Lili didn’t get any of her mom’s past from her mom? It wasn’t until when she confronted her on the couch in chapter 13. Even then, it wasn’t the full story nor did it fill in all the cracks and time skips after her mom’s time at UA. In Book 3, we explore more of the past. The conclusion is yet to be revealed.

How big is that house?!

It’s a little hard to explain? I want to say its big but parts of the house are disproportionate. It’s a two story house with no attic nor basement, 3 bath room, Master bedroom, 2 large bedrooms, office space, guest room, full kitchen, dining room, large living room, three car garage and a decent size backyard. What I’m trying to say that it’s big enough for that chaotic ass family.

Where’s Aizawa?!

Let the mans rest! He’s alive but he’s busy being a grandpa and taking naps. 

Canon villains OwO?

Y’all ate UP the Dabi surrender in Book 1 and his little mention in Book 2. But in this AU (not to spoil anything to anime only and manga dabblers) the League of Villains are still rampant but dispersed. In Book 3 (and part of Book 4) they pop in to drive the plot from a canon storyline. In the series, the rookie Hawks has been seen as a double agent and exposes a corrupt Hero Society. Same concept but in this AU, Hawks has gone missing when he failed to kill Best Jeanist. Here’s where the kids go into play BUT more on that as the plot progresses!

I really want to see art of these OCs! I wanna see how Iida’s genes transferred over to his kids!

I hear y'all! I’ve slid into DM during commission windows and have the means to pay for some line art at least...but with no responses. I’ve got my self insert character done in this post if you wanna check it out plus the artist was super sweet during the whole process. I may commission them again when they got a window of commissions open. But I may do a lineart of the kid’s faces in the near future.

What if....hypothetically....Shinso stayed?

Oh boy, okay so the Shinso stans have BOMBARDED my asks since the last arc of Book 1. So what if Shinso stayed...obviously I wouldn’t have 4 kids, just the one that we were gonna have. We wouldn’t be married and overall just be loveless the more we see our friends get married and start families. The company would still be there but delayed by 5 years or so. Our son would grow up to convince me and Shinso to separate when they get at around High school age. Tenya still wouldn’t have said anything but done the reunited part differently. I would’ve considered cheating but morals would’ve stopped me. Eventually, when our son decides to move out, we’d stay as housemates and basically die alone....aren’t you glad this AU isn’t such a downer?! Luckily things are patched up with my self insert and Shinso, because he comes into play in Book 3!

Eri Nurse! In your AU!

Yup! I’ve actually read some NurseEri! AUs on twitter and Tumblr (btw, some of y’all that like my posts have good taste in fics!) and it manifested in my dreams and created UA Nurse Eri. She shows up a few more times in the AU, so don’t fret if Eri is your fave.

WHAT  INSPIRED  YOU  TO  TAKE  ON  THIS  MUSE :   I just love him. So much. And he seemed like the kind of character who might not really get a ton of love in some circles of the fandom. I’m a very contrary person by nature, so if there’s a character who the fandom is like ‘ew who would like him?’ I just decide that one is gonna be my favorite. I also just really adore his whole thing. I’m such a sucker for characters who are mean or closed off, but then they have that one person who makes them soft, and that’s very Hubert. 

WHAT  ARE  YOUR  FAVORITE  ASPECTS  OF  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE :   His devotion is a big one. I just find it kind of compelling how all consuming that is for him. I meme about this a lot (self worth is stored in the Edelgard) but I kind of have A Thing about characters who are self-sacrificing almost to the point of self harm. He’s also one of those characters who just really knows who he is. Like it’s not that he can’t, or won’t change, but he’s kinda figured out his place and who he wants to be and that sort of grounded understanding is really nice? It’s just a really great starting point. I also honestly love just how much of an absolute asshole he can be. I’m kind of shy and very non confrontational, so sometimes it’s kinda fun to play a character who will just go all in with the dickery. 

WHAT’S  YOUR  BIGGEST  INSPIRATION  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  WRITING :  Honestly? I want other people to love Hubert as much as I do. I want people to write with me and come away looking at him again, cause he’s the kind of character where, if you haven’t seen his supports or played through CF, you just don’t really get the full picture of him. I also always want to explore things that were touched on in canon, but maybe didn’t have a chance to be fully fleshed out.

FAVORITE  TYPES  OF  THREADS :   Oh that’s hard. I love shippy stuff, even though it’s kinda hard with Hubert. Angst and just nonsense threads are good too. But I also love stuff that gets a bit deeper into his and the other characters’ thought processes. Like just stuff that’s almost more character study than plot, if that makes any sense, where you can just really dig in and compare and contrast two totally different ways of thinking. I just live for that stuff. 

BIGGEST  STRUGGLE  IN  REGARDS  TO  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE :   He’s too fucking smart for me, man. Like Hubert’s got a 20 int, and I’m over here sitting at like a 7. And it’s also sometimes tough with just how smart and scheming he’s supposed to be, like obviously it’s ic for him to have a ton of info he shouldn’t, but I never wanna powerplay or make him seem too op, so I’m still sort of struggling trying to find ways to balance that out. rn I’m going for him being like a very minmaxed dnd character, if that makes sense. He put all his points into intelligence and wisdom and didn’t save anything for physical stats.

What was the first ever muse you wrote? I wrote John Watson briefly on omeagle. But my first tumblr muse was Sebastian. 

What are three muses you wish you had the courage/ability to write but probably never will? Since I switched to my multi, there aren’t many that I won’t pick up for those reasons. More are just because I am already inundated with muses that don’t see much action, and the ones I want to add are all either (essentially) dead fandoms or just muses that I couldn’t see myself doing a whole lot with. But to answer the question? Rachel Green (F.R.I.E.N.D.S.), Lexie Grey (Grey’s Anatomy), Wanda Maximoff (MCU). (Okay the last one is a little me worried about not doing her justice. That and I’m sure she’s everywhere right now. And the MCU doesn’t need one more.)

If you have any pets, tells me all about them. I wanna know everything. Malibu is the oldest. She’s a white and tan lab mix (we think mixed with and english bulldog?) She turned 10 last christmas. She’s the sweetest, softest girl with a bad hip. She whines whenever there are other dogs barking or if the breeze is blowing just so. Then there’s Bailey. My orange american shorthair. We think she damaged her spine somehow about a year and a half ago, so her tail doesn’t quite work right. She’s the sweetest kitty tho and keeps me warm. She likes sleeping under the blankets with me at night and demands that she gets treats in the morning. She is not a fan of the dogs. Finally, there is Hendricks. He’s eight months old. A lab mix. Black save for a white patch on his chest and a couple white toes. He weighs about 70 pounds. We think he might be mixed with a pit. Or maybe a great dane. He is the most lovable puppy in the whole world and I just adore him. He did chew a couple slats from the vinyl floor at our rental house. Puppy levels activated. 

If you could get on a plane right now, where would you go? Man. If I were the only one on the plane? If it wasn’t a risk to public safety? Italy. Or scotland. Or greece. Somewhere with a view and a language I barely understand.

If you could have any super power, what would you want? I’d want the ability to retain information at incredible speeds. I wouldn’t always want to use the power, of course. Some books are meant to be savored. But the ability to gain knowledge at rapid speeds, to know languages, history, science. All with the touch? It would be amazing.

What is a few things you would like to share about yourself?;

I have Anxiety, so I tend to get in downward spirals, and feel like I am being ignored, talked about, Shunned, etc. Even tho, I know that isn’t the case. And Things that make me uncomfortable will  push me until I may dissapear from here for the day.
