I know it is an odd request, but do you know what may be going on with the frog in this image? The earliest date I can find of it being posted online is 2016, though it may be older.
The angle of the forelimbs looks biologically correct, so I am confident this is a real photo and not a photoshop job. A popular answer is that it is an ovigerous female, but that is obviously wrong. My guess would be that this frog has a myostatin mutation, causing enormous growth of its muscles. That is what causes muscular hypertrophy in cattle.

where do you find the older books you post about
Hey there! Thank you for dropping by! And the short answer is: at my workplace.
The bit longer is: I switched from selling swords to work as a librarian as of this year. The library i work at has an 'old and rare' section besides the regular one. That's why i might run into older books more on the regular. Altho so far i only posted from either the regular section or from books that are still undecided if they will become the part of the collection or go somewhere else. I basically post from whatever happens to be in front of my face really.
I know a handul of my followers like old books so if something cool or interesting pops up on my desk, i just share it with you all. Mostly the parts i find interestig because i'm a subjective organism as most people are. And because i got my masters degree from bookbinding it's usually either something about the bind or maybe some other visual element. It's just the thing i focus onto the most. So yeah, that's pretty much the long and short of it.

are you american?
"American" sounds like an aesthetic choice a lot of people would have made about homestuck; I'm not sure I'm sure, but I definitely remember seeing lots of people talking about which characters they thought sounded American, and I feel like if you told me the characters sounded American in 2012 I would have guessed I was listening to someone talking about how American the characters seemed

For like two days now I've been reading a bunch of antique documents in an attempt to find the possible location of a previously unknown Maya codex (otherwise known as the greatest lost media hunt) So I've got a few leads so far.  - Juan Pío Pérez (1798-1859): A Mexican statesman and historian of the Maya, he traveled around Yucatan in search of Maya documents, He compiled a document colloquially referred to as the Pérez Codex, this document held information from the Chilam Balam (we’ll talk about this later). In 1859 the Paris Codex was discovered within a basket in a chimney of the National Library of France by Léon de Rosny, with it a paper was attached noting it belonged to a collection made by the aforementioned Juan, it is unknown how this arrived in France, let alone Europe (Though I theorize Karl Hermann Berendt may be involved). After his death two people took over the project of completing the  Pérez Codex, Karl Hermann Berendt and Crescencio Carrillo y Ancona, Though ive done littler research on Crescencio Carrillo y Ancona, I do know that Karl worked for the John Carter Brown Library (now at Brown University) copying down documents about Pre-Columbian America, due to how often it seems codices get misplaced I think its possible that the John Carter Brown Library may contain one in some dusty old box. That is all I will say for now, but I do have plenty more leads to post about.  -Yours Dewly, JulionasUrbonas
