Vanderburg Twin seen Cheating from His Commoner Boyfriend

These are the words sitting in front of Dowager Duchess Margaux.

On her screen, a picture of her son, chatting with a woman on a pub probably around Foxbury. They were quite close in the photograph. She thinks they were about to hug, or had just hugged, but she could see the body language–none of them had tense shoulders, and none of them wore an awkward smile.

She rubbed her temple. What gave her a pounding headache was the tabloid’s assumptions of her son dating a commoner boyfriend–Louie Davis, the twins’ friend.

Every showbiz news network, news site–whatever–speculated that he and Louie were dating, as the paparazzi had taken quite a few pictures of them together when their friend group were out, when they were still at high school. Her private secretaries spent a lot of time giving the networks kill orders to kill every picture of the children, especially the photographs of Louie and Seamus “together”, on a reason stating that they were minors, and scared the networks that they could be sued by the parents for taking their photos without their consent. They made sure they never mentioned Mousse’s relationship status.

She even sent a peace offering to Louie’s parents, some new set of high-quality pots and pans for the father, a new handbag for the mother, and a new dress for Sidera Harper–Louie’s girlfriend.

Louie has a girlfriend, for Watcher’s sake.

Bernie entered the room, slamming the door. She could see him stressed. Obviously.

“This is why I told him to release a statement!” He almost growled. “The family never batted an eye when they said he’s gay. But I know the Queen Mother was disappointed.”

“Didn’t stop her from showing her favoritism to the twins, though,” Penny pointed out.

“Yes, Penny,” Bernie exasperatedly sighed. “But the disappointment is there. Did you see how she’s preferring Julie more than her brother?”

“Or maybe,” Penny rolled her eyes, “Julie is the Duchess so she’s more focused on her?”

Bernie exhaled. His heated glare targeted the ceiling, “Look,” he looked back at her, “the family is giving me shit right now–excuse me, Your Grace–they don’t like the cheating allegations. They can leave the boy be and be gay than see him as a cheater. He is considered his father’s spitting image, and they would hate it if he’s painted as an adulterer!”

Penny scoffed, “What, you’d rather have the family be homophobic than give you shit about a cheating scandal?” “What? No!” Bernie let out a noise of frustration. “Look at Prince Gerard and Mr. Simon, since when did the family release their disappointment?”

“Obviously not publicly. Prince Gerard and his husband stepping down from royal duties, retiring from his senior royal work, and moving to Starlight Shores is very telling. And don’t reason with me with Milo and Ramon Perez. The family doesn’t mind them– don’t care even –they’re distant relatives of the household. They’re far away from the throne, Bernie. As long as it’s not the main family, not from the line of King Pierce, they’re fine with it, because it doesn’t steal the show, doesn’t steal the limelight, doesn’t tamper royal values.”

Penny pointed a finger to Bernie. If he was near, Margaux knew the younger secretary would shove him with it, “That’s how homophobic they are.”

“Enough, you two!” Margaux raised her voice. “Let’s not put the blame on my son here.”

“That’s not what I – ”

She held her hand as she stood up from her seat. Bernie closed his mouth.

“What we’re going to do is fix this. You will drive to Foxbury, get my twins, their friends, including this girl, and we will debrief them. From there, we will ask Mousse to release a statement, which includes clarification on why he never spoke before–force him if need be, and then we will have Julie release a statement that shows support,” she motioned to Penny, “which includes a picture of their friend group, with Louie and Sidera together– take note of this –and my son and this girl sitting beside each other. Stage them to be as intimate as possible, have him sling an arm around her waist–anything. That will shut them up.”

“Excellent idea, my lady.”

“And if this doesn’t work?”

“Then we face the wrath of the Queen Mother.”

Seamus spared a quick glance to Bea, who stood beside him, helping him with his presentation.

Lou? He recalled the conversation he and Louie had. How did you know you…liked…Sid?

Louie had whipped his head to face him so fast Seamus had almost laughed. Dude…

He had sighed. I don’t know Louie. I thought of Bea as a friend, but I’m starting to see something more. I can no longer see her as a friend. Every night I think about her, her voice, her laughs, the way she speaks. The way she smartly answers our professors, the way she handles her fans inside the campus, telling them to move their asses away and not disturb her education…I always look forward to seeing her, Lou, but I’m also nervous when I’m about to see her. I was never the one to look conscious about my appearance because everyone finds me handsome anyway –

– Woooow. You sounded like a prick there. Louie had laughed at him.

Seamus had chuckled at this, and then continued, When I’m with her, I always find myself worrying about how I look. Do I look good? I’ve asked the girls about it. Julie always says yes, and Sid just gave me a thumbs up. My confidence spikes–until I see her.

Yeah, and you buy the magazine that has her at the cover, Louie had teased him by adding another thing that he’s so embarrassed to admit.

Seamus remembered giving him a look. He also remembered Louie stuck his tongue out to tease him more.

Anyway, his friend had patted him on the back firmly. You’ve fallen in love, my boy.

And back to the present. This is why she’s here. He invited her under the pretense of asking her help. Honestly, he can breeze through this presentation with how inspired he is.

He’s going to confess to Bea. Right here. Right now.

“Bea– ”

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

He tried not to click his tongue. Smiling at Bea, he said, “I’ll get it.”

As soon as he opened the door, in came Louie, pushing Seamus back into his room, and kicking the door closed. He looks worried.

“Nobody freak out,” Louie said, but it looked like he said that for himself.

Worry etched on Bea’s face. “What’s going on?”

“Girl, I said, don’t freak out!” Louie let out a sound that made Seamus almost laugh.

“No one’s freaking out but you, Lou. What’s up?” Seamus chuckled.

“There’s…” Louie gulped. “There’s paparazzi outside our door!”

They jogged down the stairs, and when the paparazzi noticed them through the glass windows of their door, they pounded, demanding them to step outside. It was locked, luckily, and Seamus is sure they wouldn’t break the window–no one really liked to pay property damage.

“Juls,” Louie said to his phone, “lock your front door. Do not go out. Your brother and I will handle this.”

Seamus heard him. What his sister said, he doesn’t know, as Louie had immediately dropped the call.

“What should we do?” his friend asked. “Should we call Mr. Braxton?”

Seamus thought for a moment. He’d hate to have Bernie here. He’s going to give him one hell of a lecture. You should’ve released a statement a long time ago!

“I’ll go out and talk,” he finally said. “Just a quick announcement…”

“I’ll go with you,” Louie firmly nodded.

“Then I’ll go as well,” Bea added.

“Are you sure?” Louie asked, worried. “I think it’s safe for you to stay inside.”

Bea looked at Seamus. He sighed and gave her a small smile. “Okay, but if it gets too much, Louie will bring you inside, alright?”

“Lord Seamus! Is it true you’re cheating with your boyfriend?”

“Mr. Davis, how do you feel that he’s cheating with that girl right beside you?”

“Seriously? I have a girlfriend!” Louie scowled.

Seamus whispered back to him, “That’s the first and last reaction you’ll give them. Let me handle this.”

Louie shared a glance with Bea. She nodded at him, before looking down at her feet to avoid the paparazzi. Louie rubbed the back of his neck.

Seamus saw his sister and Sid watching through the windows of their door. He knows what she’s thinking. Don’t. He looked away.

“I’m here to confirm one thing,” Seamus started, and the commotion stopped. The journalists waited. He continued, “Bea and I…” he glanced at her. I’ll have to confess this way. I’m sorry.

“We’re dating. The cheating allegations are not true–never is, never was. No relationship before Bea. My sister and I are dear friends of Louie, and his girlfriend, Ms. Harper. I have been silent to the media for many years, even when you assumed my orientation, as I believed that leaving you be is enough, and not engaging with your behavior will keep my family safe. As I’m seeing right now, it’s not. You’re putting my friends at risk. Now, I suggest you leave, before we call the campus security.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the journalists started speaking over each other. A cacophony of more questions. Seamus turned on his heel, pulling Bea with him, and on cue, Louie followed suit, shielding them as they went back inside. He elbowed some journalists away, then quickly closed the door behind him, locking it.

“I’ll call Bernie,” Seamus said, exhaling. “Call security, please.”

Louie nodded.

Seamus looked at Bea. He doesn’t know what to make of her expression. He understood why she was angry. She should be. He should’ve confessed to her first before publicizing that they’re dating.

“We’ll talk after this,” Bea finally said.

There goes my confession.

Random Veronaville Headcanons

I have been Veronapilled so now I have HC's to share with the class :)

-Titania started a tradition within the upper-class society of the Sims world ( besides the Capps think the Goths, Altos, Vanderburgs, Villareals) where for her and Oberon's anniversary she hosts a ball where all other Sims families travel out to Veronaville for a month in the summer and they have small social events throughout the month where they can socialize and set up business deals and their kids can become friends or like date. but on the last night, Tatiana has this huge Ball where all the guests and Tatiana's family dress up in white except Tatiana who wears a colored animal print

-The Monty's own a restaurant that is very successful and Romeo is set to own. Which Romeo very much tries to push on to Mercutio because Romeo likes to cook and all but he does not want to own a restaurant and neither does Mercutio. This is a common fight till one dinner when Antonio is sick of listening to them fight so he tells them the restaurant will be his till they figure it out. Romeo and Mercutio never figure it out.

- Consort constantly calls Kent, Kenny or Kennedy. Because Consort swears that he has 4 daughters. Not because he hates Kent just because he swears that when Kent was born in Roaring Heights he was a girl but when they moved to Veronaville Kent was male(This is based on the fact that when I played the Capps in Roaring Heights baby Capp was female)

-Consort has a very much once it's 9:30 I don't care what goes on in my house because I am in my nice soundproof room. Consort got his and Contessa room sound proofed after her realized he was going to have 4 teenagers at once

-The Capp grandkids take advantage of the fact that Consort doesn't care after 9:30 way more than Consorts kids ever did

-Tybalt and Juliette are the worst offenders. They both sneak out and sneak people in constantly, Even worse there has been times where Tybalt was trying to leave at night and Juliette took his car to do the same

-It's also bad because several time they have both ran into each other sneaking in the Monty Brother and they start fighting about if we are going to the same place don't take both cars and then its weird and all four of then just watch a movie

-Tybalt just doesn't like Romeo. not even in the way of the feud. He just doesn't like him as a person

-Juliette and Romeo get married really young. Like too young, Like they lied about their birthdays and went to Tartosa over the summer and got legally married at 15 before there sophomore year of high school

-Tybalt and Marla Biggs graduated in the same year and are best friends

-Tybalt and Hermia Share a birthday

-Juliette is really only called Juliette by Consort and her Aunts. She prefers to go by Jules.

-Puck lowkey hates Veronaville and moves out to travel and only visits for holidays and his mom's month-long party

Who’s that girl? Part 1

Julie had just left the commons. She was there to return the book she borrowed and paid her respects to the tomb by the tree, which was placed in honor of a beloved servo. On her way back to the housing, she found someone familiar…

“Well, well, well…”

“Louie, has my brother told you anything about a girl?”

“Ah Watcher!”

A hand on his chest, he took quite a deep breath. “Hoooo! Julie, you scared me! Have you been here waiting for your brother???”

“No, but I’m waiting for you, Lou. So, is Mousse telling you about some girl?”

Louie sat beside her, “No…he hasn’t mentioned anyone…yet. Why?”

“I found him walking with another girl. See, we both know he rarely speaks to other girls, especially to someone he’s not acquainted with. If you ask me, I think the only girls he’ll gladly talk with are with Mummy, or Penny, or me, or even Sid. He never speaks to another girl first, but even then, he likes to keep chatting short.”

“Maybe the girl struck a conversation with him?”

“No, he looked quite happy. I know my brother. He won’t smile to girls trying to do small talk with him.”

“You want me to investigate, don’t you?”

Julie smirked, “You just read my mind, Lou.”

“See ya later, Julie,” Louie said as Julie turned on her heel. “I’ll pass the secret info to Sid, duchess ma’am!”

Julie let out a laugh.

“Julie! I just got back from class! Spill some royal tea!”

“You won’t believe what I saw. My brother’s talking…with a girl! And not just talking…he’s smiling, Sid. Smiling!”

Sid smirked. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

Julie smirked back. “Potential girlfriend?”

“Potential girlfriend.”

They giggled.

“Want me to ask Lou about it tonight?”

“Why not? So you’ll have another reason to do your nightly…escapades.”

First Week of School

“What’s up?”

“Hey, Lou!”

“How’s uni?”

“Good. We’re in the commons doing our presentations.”

“Oh, you’re busy? I can call later?” Mason hesitantly said.

“Nah, nah, you’re fine Mace. Just giving my head a break. How’s high school?”

“Cool! I made new friends – Kali Rankin and Arvin Covey. Kali’s from the drama club,” Mason rambled.

“And Arvin’s from cheerleading. They’re actually trying to recruit me – I don’t know what to choose though.”

“Awww. My baby brother is making friends already!” Louie teasingly cooed.

“Stop it dude…” Mason grumbled, making Louie laugh.

Louie finally said, “Mace, join any club you’re comfortable with.”

“Like the chess team?”

“Uh-huh.”

“But I kinda wanna try drama…”

“Then try it!”

A beat of silence. Mason also wanted to tell his brother about Arvin. About how he can’t take his eyes off him – is this what they call a crush? What is this? Crush at first sight? He decided to leave it out when he relayed to him his weekend plans.

“Arvin wanna invite us this weekend to his house. He lives in San Myshuno in an apartment and his family owns it! Remember the building beside the karaoke bar we went to last winter? Apparently, that’s them!”

“Haha, ain’t this a small world? Did you ask Mama and Papa?”

“Yeah, I did. They said yes as long as I get home before five.”

“Great. Do you want me to go with?” Louie teased again.

“Bro?? I’m not a baby!”

Louie let out another laugh. Mason suddenly thought of something.

“Is Sid with you?” He asked.

“Yup!”

“Is she doing something?”

“The presentation. Want me to call her? Hold o – ”

“Is she busy? You don’t have to! I can text her later.”

“Oh, alright. I can tell it to her?”

“No!” Mason felt his chest beating fast. “It’s a secret.”

“You guys are keeping me in the dark again, huh?” Louie teased.

Mason chuckled. “I guess. Anyway, you should go back to your work. And I have a game with Kali too. Thanks for the chat. Love you bro.”

“Love you too. Tell Mama and Papa I said hi, okay?”

“I will.”

Beep.

Louie returned to his presentation. Sid asked him, “Was that Mace?”

“Yup. Just a quick chat about his school day. He said he made friends.”

“Aww, that’s cute! You know, we’ve never properly met Mason yet. When are you going to introduce us again?” Julie asked.

“Not around Bernie, though. He was intimidated by him.” Seamus shook his head.

Everyone let out a chuckle. Louie said, “I think he can handle Mr. Braxton now. He’s not a kid anymore after all.”

What flowers would they want?

I think Sid would want some tulips! Her adoptive father grew some tulips back in Henford-on-Bagley, so she really loves them, though she sometimes look at tulips with bittersweet memories.

Who sent it and do the flowers match what they wanted?

Sid receives a bouquet, and it's tulip and roses! The bouquet came from Louie. It's not grand, but it has equal amount of tulips and roses.

What is their reaction to the gift?

Oh, Sid loves it! It's tulips and roses! The rose reminds her of their first date, and their first confession to each other.

What flowers would they want?

Nora loves all flowers. The Beau Altar she has in her room is full of vases filled with flowers, but what she love most is the Death flower. She heard stories from her youth that a Death flower can keep Death at bay, but since she will not experience death, she won't be able to fulfill the dream of offering a Death flower to Death himself.

Who sent it and do the flowers match what they wanted?

Nora receives a bouquet made of white alstroemeria, white roses...and in the midst of it is the stark red and the skull of the Death flower. And it's from Percival.

What is their reaction to the gift?

Nora is delighted! She asks him how did he find a Death flower, and Percival dismissed her saying that he had help (the help is that he found a Death flower growing in the final resting place of his sisters, and he asked a poor old florist to arrange a bouquet for him with that flower; unbeknownst to him, that was the last bouquet for the florist to make as the Death flower took her life).

What flowers would they want?

Julie loves Sweet Juliet roses (almost close to her name, right?!). She remembers that her Dad had cultivated Sweet Juliets just for her in his estate back in Hidden Springs. Their home would always be decorated with the roses whenever it's possible.

Who sent it and do the flowers match what they wanted?

Julie receives a lot flowers, especially when she attends royal engagements. So, sometimes, the roses she wants aren't there. On special occasions, such as her birthday, she would always receive Sweet Juliet roses from her late Dad, and recently, from her twin brother.

What is their reaction to the gift?

If the bouquets are from the public that was received from engagements, she'd still be thankful. But if Mousse, her brother, gives her Sweet Juliets, she'd love it so much that she'd place the bouquet in her room and would try to prolong its life as long as possible!

Penrose walked, deep in thought.

She continued walking. A local gave her a nod. She forced a smile when she returned it.

She could just quit being the Assistant Private Secretary, you know. Then that means she doesn't have to deal with this mess.

But why is she thinking so hard for this? Why? If she could just quit and leave this all behind, why is she so damned peeved in all of this?

She gazed on the horizon. The orange sky turns into purple, into the deep dark blue of the night sky. The moon starts to rise.

She took a deep breath.

If Bernie cares for the duchess, she cares for the children. To her, the wellbeing of the Lady Juliette and Lord Seamus Vanderburg is the reason why she's bothered with Bernie and his...feelings with the duchess.

The Duchess Margaux was devastated when Prince Seamus passed away. The indecisiveness in living in Bridgeport and Hidden Springs, back and forth, and then "settling down" in Bridgeport, and then finally settling in Del Sol Valley was evident. And who took the heavy brunt of it? The children.

She saw the way Julie broke down. Julie, who tries to keep their household light and cheery, because the young girl can't bear to see her Mummy sad, broke down. She can only give so much happiness before it all came crashing down.

And Mousse? Mousse, tough Mousse. He assumed the head of their house. He assumed that role when his Pop died, because to him, it felt right. He took the burden off of his sister. He stood, mighty and strong, beside his sister and mother, protecting Margaux from the already scornful looks of the Royal Family, that is mostly directed to their mother.

Bernie would be the final straw that will finally break this little family.

Penrose hopes her superior will come to senses. She can't bear to think what will happen to the children if Margaux loses her status.

It's Prom Night!

As soon as everyone got in, they got in dancing and mingling! Some immediately went straight to the voting booth. For Sid and Louie, they voted for Juliette Vanderburg as Prom Royalty, and Alexander Ito as Prom Jester.

"Look around Julie," Seamus said when she stepped in the auditorium. "Everyone's looking at us."

"No they're not," Julie scoffed.

Some students who were passing by greeted them, "Hey! Hope you're having fun!"

Julie smiled, "Yes, we are, thank you."

They nodded, smiling, before going on their way to vote.

"See?" Julie said, hand going to his elbow and gently pulled him. "Come on, Mousse, let's have fun!"

"Okay, okay!" Seamus tried not to trip when his sister's gentle pull went a little abrupt. "Geez..."

He watched his sister get pulled in by another student to dance, which then formed a dance circle!

"Woooo!" Julie yelled, raising up her arms and dancing wildly.

Seamus groaned. He opted to stand on the side. He muttered, "Dancing, dancing, yes watch me dance..."

Julie looked around when she noticed her brother wasn't near her. She saw him in a corner doing an awkward shuffle. She chuckled, shaking her head.

Meanwhile, near the back, was Louie and Sid.

"Thanks for having this dance with me," Louie said.

"No," Sid shook her head. "Thank you, Lou. Every day I spend with you...and your family, makes my life so much special. Makes me happy. It makes me forget I have an aunt that chose to be a vampire to fight that vampire attacker that killed my real family."

Louie smiled, "Come on, Sid. Let's forget our worries for now."

Sid smiled back at him, face hot. "Yes..."

Later, they were all called to watch the awarding for Prom Royalty and Jester!

Juliette won as Prom Royalty, and Alexander Ito won as Jester!

"Prom is so fun!!!" Julie cheered. Everyone cheered as well, and Seamus was feeling embarrassed.

Everyone went back to dancing, wanting to make more memories for the night.

Seamus finally mingled, with Sid and Louie's gentle encouragement.

Though he can't find himself to smile with the way Julie draws everyone's attention with the way she dances. She was feeling it.

I wish we could've stayed home, he thought.

Copperdale went on like normal, minus the presence of two royal children, Juliette and Seamus Vanderburg, who would earn looks and whispers wherever they go. Sid sat between Julie and Seamus. Seamus raised a brow at her, to which Julie shook her head. Sid nodded at Seamus, smiling.

Louie noticed Sid, who was leaning towards Julie. Sid was pointing at Louie. He heard her say, "That's Louie Davis. We're friends. He's a good guy."

Julie nodded at Louie, whispering, "Hello, Louie."

Louie smiled. His eyes went to Seamus at the other end of the room, who was eyeing him suspisciously. Louie nodded at him, but Seamus only shook his head. The former only shrugged.

Not a day had gone by, and Julie and Sid were talking like they were best friends since forever!

"So you live together with Louie?" Julie asked. "Is he your boyfriend?"

Sid blushed hard. "W-What! N-No!"

"Oh, but your face is red, Sid," Julie noted, poking her cheek. "I noticed Louie kept looking at our side."

"Maybe he likes you."

Julie shook her head, laughing. "Sid, don't make yourself jealous. He's looking at you, not me. He looked like a lost puppy. Maybe because I'm beside you, not him."

Sid's brows raised. "Whaaat?"

"It's actually cute, you know," Julie teased, nudging her gently. "You two look good together. Has he tried pursuing you?"

Sid shook her head. "No...but sometimes, I see him looking at me...and it made my heart skip a beat. Like, I was sad earlier because I had pimples, but he doesn't mind, and he made me cheer up. He even said I'm still beautiful!"

Julie crooned. "Sid, he likes you."

"Stop teasing me, Julie," by now, Sid's face is as red as a tomato.

That evening, Bernie watched the twins as they do their homework.

"How's school?" He asked.

"Lovely," Juliette Vanderburg said, placing down her pencil.

"Fine," Seamus Vanderburg said, leaning forward, a frown on his lips as he focused hard on his homework.

Julie rolled her eyes at him, before directing her attention to Bernie. "Bernie, do you mind if we invite some...friends for dinner? It's on Sunday. I'm hoping everyone has a clear schedule on that day."

Bernie cleared his throat, wiping his lips with the table napkin. "Sure, I don't mind. Does your mother know?"

"I'm planning to, after finishing this," she said.

Seamus grumbled.

"Ugh," Julie groaned. "Enough with this already. They're fine. I don't think they're bad."

Bernie raised a brow. "Is there a problem?"

Seamus sat straight. He looked at Bernie, then at his sister. He shook his head before returning to his work, frown deeper than before.

"Mousse thinks they want something from us," Julie scoffed. "I don't think so. You should've seen them, Bernie. Sid and Louie were lovely to talk with. And they're even lovely together!"

She looked at her brother, frowning. "If only you'll look at everything with positive thinking, you wouldn't always think that everyone wants something from us."

Seamus slammed down his pencil. "You don't understand, Julie. Have you seen that Davis boy? He has that goofy smile all the time! What if he tries to date you? What if he tries to seduce you and then ask money and sex from you?"

Bernie sat back, a little amused with the quarrel, but quite shocked. The twins rarely fight.

"Are you deaf Seamus?" Julie said, voice rising with anger. "I said they're lovely together. That means, Louie has his eyes on Sid! My Watcher! If only you were paying attention, you wouldn't think of anything messed up. Your judgement is clouded with pessimism!"

Bernie finally spoke up, "Alright, everyone, calm down."

"I'm done," Seamus huffed, picking up his homework as he stood. He left the dining room.

Julie watched him as he left, then shook her head, grumbling.

Bernie clasped her hand, squeezing it gently. "There, there. He's just worried, you know?"

She sighed, irritated. "Should we always worry, Bernie? We won't be enjoy our lives this way. Isn't the reason Mum stepped down as a senior working royal to stop her getting worried for us all the time?"

Bernie sighed. He pats her hand. "I'll talk to you brother later."

Seamus sat on the lounging chair. He tried to relax, letting that evening air wash his anger away.

His frown lightened. How should I tell everyone? He thought. I'm just scared. This isn't like Bridgeport or The Springs anymore.
