Hi Kirsty! Thank you for this ask 🥰 I had so much to think about bc I include SO MANY small details in my posts. Since it's city detective I wanted you guys to play along as detectives to spot any small hints or clues in my pictures/text and see if you're right later on. I'll just name these 3, they are my favourite small details (excluding ones that will give away spoilers):

Vincent's chest scar: Like I'm not expecting anyone to zoom into my pics, but at the start I never mentioned he had a heart condition or had heart surgery and then when I revealed it 🫣 I just think this whole heart/scar symbolism is very important for the story and you should look out for it.

Renee's heart earrings: I know they're not in every single picture/outfit, but Renee has worn the same earrings since a child! And they are heart earrings to show she is a hopeless romantic ❤️ Also, it's just a coincidence, but in the posts with Keon, she wasn't wearing them.

Isaac's eagle tattoo: Remember his first appearance? He was watching Vincent. And his nickname? Eagle Eyes. He is like an eagle, if you think about its symbolism. Honesty, power, courage, just to name a few...they all play a part in his character. I was so happy finding that tattoo and I really like how his gaze is like an eagle 👀

Almost every game that I wish to play are demanding as fuck. I'm surprised my laptop was able to run Mass Effect Andromeda and Fallout 76

I don't like pouring my soup on my rice because it "multiplies". There's a reason for this: when I was a kid, I hate it when my mom pours soup on my rice because it multiplies (which is just the rice losing its stickiness and gives out an illusion that makes my rice multiply in number). I hate it because it means I won't be able to finish fast. I'm a slow eater back then, you see.

I have a fear being recognized as my sister's mother. Which is not true. She is my sister, and the reason we have this weird age gap is because my parents decided to shag when I was in 6th grade. I don't like being mistakenly seen as her "mom". I'm her sister, and you better know it.

What do I need to read to understand why that doctor keeps torturing and killing John?

This actually gets explained later on in this story (at least an actual conversation but it's kinda spoilers but it does get addressed after all of the years this spans.)

Memory management is the story (current story/present) of The Werewolf's/Vin's addressing the various traumas from what happened to him before the events of The Werewolf (the story. yeah, should've named it something else but wasn't thinking that at the time.)

The Werewolf (story) is more or less the (re) emergence of Vin two years after The Incident on a trip with Brian in Granite Falls. Brian does not know he's a werewolf.

The Incident is more or less the 'fragmented' part of a specific thing that's happening at this point in memory management, but out of context/incomplete. (It has no dialogue bc I was trying out a thing with it at the time. The Werewolf/Vin clarifies all of it in this story. It's also got a bunch of CWs.) I did this a little after writing The Werewolf, but you can actually read this before that.

these are the two major ones, but I'd consider these as important too:

countryside -- a small trip to Henford-on-Bagley to help The Werewolf/Vin to get a little acclimated to being around people. It's light in tone.

apple -- a small one shot that takes a little after The Werewolf.

forgiven -- The Werewolf/Vin makes a surprise visit to his mom.

checking in -- takes place a few months before memory management and the reason for this story.

TL;DR -- the order is

The Incident* The Werewolf* apple forgiven countryside checking in memory management (current story)

*you can read either first

(there may be some plotholes because I didn't actually plan this all out... it's something I kept coming back to. but I'll gladly answer questions ^^;)

Fact 1: I LOVE Dr Pepper but I can only drink it a few times a year because of my anxiety. However, I've FINALLY found caffeine-free Dr Pepper and it'll be here soon :D

Fact 2: I also love the rain. When it starts raining, I tend to drop everything I'm doing so I can sit outside and write or read. It's so peaceful.
