Get These European Music Festivals In Your Diary. Right. Now.

The days of going on holiday just to see the pretty buildings are over. Ok, not over. You can definitely still do that. But there’s something to be said for timing your European holiday with a music festival. Firstly, you don’t have to work out where to go for dinner each night, secondly the weather’s almost guaranteed to be better than the UK, and thirdly you can usually see whoever’s headlining in back home in a muddy field more cheaply abroad. Plus if camping’s not your thing, you can book a hotel to a city festival, get your rave on, then return to a comfy bed at the end of the night.

So let’s agree to make this the year we stop talking about it and finally, finally, get ourselves over to Europe for a music festival. No need to wait until the summer, either. We’re kicking our year of music off with Sonar in February and finishing with Amsterdam in October. What about you?

February

Sónar Reykjavik

If you like electronic music, have even a passing interest in technology and can’t wait until Barcelona in June, Sonar’s satellite festival in Reykjavik is the one for you. There’ll be music across four stages in the Harpa Concert Hall (the underground car park’s being turned into a night club) and panel talks throughout the day. Iceland might be in darkness at this time of year, but that’s what lasers and lights are for, right?

Snowboxx

Get a snow and sound fix on the mountainside in Avioraz. The Portes Du Soleil is one of France’s biggest ski regions, so once you’ve finished a day on the slopes, you can head off to a massive main stage event, an igloo rave or a club night. This is apres ski on steroids.

But actually ended up just absolutely railing you on his bed in the middle of the night right when his parents were sound asleep having no idea what was going on, and Ike was unaware too. CHRISTOPHE DELORNE DATING HEADCANONS ✔︎

Dating this guy is an interesting experience, make sure to get used to the smell of cigar and pet names.

That may have made it sound bad, but i swear he’s not that bad. Christophe matures and actually takes care of himself here.

It was midnight, and you’ve just escaped your residence to go wander off to an abandoned building - soon the aroma of a lit cigar and oddly pleasant smelling perfume filled your nostrils.

You were met with a heavily accented, tall, brunette boy who seemed to not like the disturbance at all.

“Who ze hell are you?”

Yeah, he didn’t like it at all really. But you didn’t care at all either, because you stood there. Why? You didn’t know, you simply felt like annoying someone tonight.

So the next night after that you went to the building again, and the night after that, and the night after that night, so on.

For the first few months of knowing you he told you to just call him; in his own words - “Ze Mole.”

Eventually, he did tell you his real name, Christophe. He wasn’t fast to catch feelings, though he did sort of get used to your irritating yet enjoyable presence every night.

As said in the beginning, get used to the smell of cigars.

When it came to one developing feelings for each other you fell for him first. He was aware of that and decided to just use it against you.

Until he himself actually started liking you, he started calling you names like “Mon Amour”, or sometimes, “Ma Cherie.” Stuff like that.

The pet names soon grew to be normalized in said friendship, but you were getting tired and neither of you two wanted to fess up to the other.

So it stood like that, for about half a year. After a long, painfully slow half year. Finally - you confessed to him first. Surprising yeah i know.

Obviously he was surprised, but he didn’t care. He accepted either way, in s very odd where where he laughed either at you, or just out of nervousness.

Once you guys start dating, is when he actually isn’t so much of a jerk, but more of a open jerk, but its progress. Somewhat at least.

Hes very touchy i believe, or just pretty affection. He doesn’t do PDA much though, he’s pretty private.

Although he is private, when he is in private, he could say some pretty suggestive things to you just to see your reaction.

Especially in public - as said, not PDA but he absolutely loves how embarrassed and vulnerable you can get, he thrives off of it.

Once fingered you in the back of a car because he felt like it.

— Moving on from that, he’s pretty much always around you, he’s not exactly social and prefers to be by himself or with you. So he likes having you there for social situations.

The attachment that he grew on you in the beginning of your friendship, the attachment grew even more when you two started getting involved with each other romantically.

Not clingy, but also is clingy. Its in between. He likes his personal space but he also likes being around you. But still always finds himself around you.

His hair is literally tangled sometimes, so you often just help him brush it out because he’s either just too tired or just wants you to do it because he likes you touching his hair.

Since he’s usually just out wandering outside at like 2 AM he literally looks like a drug dealer.

I do believe he grew to be pretty tall, or just really tall. Even if a majority of french people are short, i dunno. He’s just one of the taller people in South Park.

This is gonna sound really corny, but he fully believes that you’ll wed in the future, like he’s fully convinced. Which is really, really shocking coming from him.

He buys you stuff a lot, or he said he bought it. Who knows really, you just get a lot of gifts.

As much as he enjoys his personal space, like i said, he still finds himself around you 24/7 without even realizing it 4 hours into it.

With how late he sleeps, and how he always walks around, he falls asleep with you a lot, or just on you.

Sometimes just comes into your house through your window after 5 attempts at knocking. Yes this has happened on multiple occasions, and he says you should’ve opened the window.

Suspiciously good at lockpicking things.

Pretty much half immune to getting sick and stuff because he ate tons of dirt at some point as a kid with digging.

He basically lives with you at this point, he’s always at your house, or just around you.

When he’s alone though, he just naps. Or smokes, or goes outside on walks.

premise; Butters has been acting odd lately, and has been avoiding practically all of his friends, so you get up the courage. Pushing away the growing concerns and visiting him. But things don’t exactly go as planned.

You and Butters have been friends for - practically, ever. And he’s always been quite the talker. Especially around you. Though, its almost as if he’s been avoiding you as of late. And his lack of social interaction with others too had been rather concerning, if not one of your concerns. He hadn’t been getting out much during the day either which again, was not like him at all.

Butters had not even been talking to the boys, also meaning Cartman had no one gullible to target for his ridicule and “pranks”, tracing back to now him just being even more of an asshole than usual.

With the sudden change of behavior in the usually bright blonde boy, it looked you were the only one who had took notice in this. That said a lot about peoples observations. He always did so much yet got so little respect and recognition for it. Though you shook of the thought, getting through the rest of the day silently planning how to approach the matter.

Once you finally got your things in order, packing up as the class was dismissed. You headed out, hearing the echoes of your feet hit the ground through out the large cold halls that was your school. The place had been feeling more eerie lately, and you weren’t exactly sure why. Moving forward with your thoughts, which was all you were left alone with at the moment. You exited the tall building with a huff, revealing your warm aura to the cold air outside, snow covering the ground, sidewalk, most things around.

The doors closed behind you, your chest moving up and down slowly, your eyes still filled with concern, this was not like Butters at all. This wasn’t some grounding cause he had barely been to school. That was even more surprising that his parents had been okay with that.

Your gaze moved, facing the burgundy-colored house that was in front of you, the eerie aura was not just at school, it was even at his house too. It just felt as if someone was watching you, ready to pounce. Again: you shrugged off the feeling, going up to knock on the door.

The warmth that was your hand hit the door, your knuckles hitting the frame gently, looking around for a brief moment, before turning your head back up to the door. Rustling was heard from inside the house, then footsteps. The lights were on. Mumbling too.

The whole situation was kinda freaky, and you were feeling more and more uncomfortable by the minute. Second even, you were getting impatient as well. So you spoke, slightly more audible than you may have needed to be. “Butters, Are you home?” You questioned, nervously tapping your fingers against each other.

On the other end, Butters was absolutely freaking. He should’ve known this would happen, but he didn’t think anyone would notice his disappearance, then again. You always were much more observant when it came to him, his only real friend.

“A-ah shit..” he cursed under his breath, stumbling around his living room. Which would be clear and in view, but he had the curtains drawn. He really, really wanted to open the door. But he felt if he did, he’d basically pounce on you. He didn’t even know what was going on with him.

In the end, it was just too much pressure. He caved in and opened the door with a look of complete bloodlust in his eyes, and he was practically drooling with a thirst for a blood. His eyes widened and yours did too. “.. whoa dude.” You choked out, his eyes held some instability behind them, and he looked a bit dazed as he stared back at you.

“.. Hi.” Was all he replied, he felt his self control slipping more and more he stared at you, both with some sort of intent, but also .. another sort of intent. Another type of desire filled him and he wasn’t completely sure why, his breath slightly trembled as he took a breath.

Your shoulders tensed up at the look he held on his face, but you quickly regained your composure. ignoring the feeling. “I just .. uh, why haven’t you been around? You’ve been avoiding me; and everyone else.” After subsiding the feeling, you still stood the ground, holding your head high. Expecting an answer, but to no avail. Instead, all you earned was a so familiar yet cold sensation touch your arm. It was Butters. He gripped your arm and yanked you inside. Shutting the door and breathing against your neck as he leaned against you. This was so unlike Butters. And you had no idea how to deal with this situation. But you weren’t not .. not enjoying this, even a little bit, it sounded weird.

His horse breaths had caused a heat to pool to your core, squeezing your thighs together as a shiver went down your spine, feeling the frigid air that was his breath hit the side of your neck.
