The sound of muffled arguing in the kitchen wakes you up on Saturday morning.
It's late, the sun already streaming in through your windows, pooling in streaks of pale gold across your floor. From where you're wrapped up in the blankets you can just make out a pair of Shouto's discarded pants laying across the floor, Katsuki's folded with military precision atop the hamper. You stretch, joints popping, until the sound of voices draws your attention again.
"The fuck is that supposed to be, huh?" comes Katsuki's growl from beyond the door.
Shouto's low tone answers him, his voice soft and almost indecipherable. You can tell the two of them haven't been up for much longer than you by the rasp in Katsuki's voice, the deep hum of Shouto's. "They are Julie Anne."
There is an incredulous pause, and you can almost see the expression on Katsuki's face. Barely awake, you just manage to stifle your own laugh into the blanket when Shouto's meaning comes to you, and Katsuki's scandalized inhale makes you smile harder.
"It's julienne, dumbfuck. Who the hell is Julie Anne?" he demands.
"They are julienne, then," Shouto says placidly, which you know grinds Katsuki's gears even more than defensiveness.
"This is half a fucking carrot, I said cut 'em tiny!" Katsuki hisses.
Shouto says something in reply you can't quite make out, and Katsuki all but growls—except then there's the softest, slick sound of a kiss, and you know Shouto has pulled out his ultimate move to quiet your boyfriend down.
"Think you can just do whatever because you're cute," Katsuki mutters after a moment, but his tone gives him away. It's easily a thousand degrees warmer than it was moments before, and you can tell by the sound of his voice that the tips of his ears are scarlet.
A helplessly fond smile pulls at your mouth as you stretch again, and you figure you should get out to the kitchen now that the waters have calmed.
The process of unrolling yourself from the blankets takes a minute, and then you spend another few hunting around for the shirt and pants Shouto flung off of you somewhere last night, and a few more brushing your teeth in the bathroom.
Something is hissing on the stove by the time you make it out to the kitchen, and the room smells mouthwatering.
Shouto has apparently been exiled to the far side of the island, and your boyfriend turns to you, his hair a little flatted on the left side, red strands tangling up with the white. His long fingers clutch a glass of orange juice, and he looks so adorably morning-ruffled and sweet you almost fall over your feet in your haste to kiss him.
"Good morning, love," he says, pressing another kiss to your mouth. He's warm and tastes like fresh oranges, and his bare chest is almost too beautifully sculpted in the morning sun. You let him pull you into his lap, and only get a little flustered with the way his arm muscle cords as he does so.
He hooks his arms around you, pressing his mouth into your shoulder, and you shiver with the delicious warmth of him along your back.
"Thought you mighta died in there," Katsuki says, scarlet eyes finding yours over the counter. "'S late for you."
He's bare chested too, miles of golden skin on display in his low-slung grey sweatpants and your mouth goes a little dry just looking at him.
"Luckily someone set the bickering boyfriend alarm," you say, eyes barely finding their way back up to his face.
Katsuki grins, a wicked thing, and leans over the counter to seize your mouth, a long-fingered hand cupping your chin. He tastes like coffee, an indulgence he only allows himself on weekends, and he slides you a matching mug when he finally lets your mouth free, having to return to the rolled omelette he's making.
"I might be in love with you," you say gratefully, taking a sip, reveling in how good it is. Katsuki only does freshly ground—a million miles better than the instant powder or coffee pods you brew yourself on your way out to work. You're definitely in love.
"Then I might be inclined to let you have some of this," Katsuki says. The motion of his arm as he flaps the dishtowel over his shoulder is notably smug.
You settle back into Shouto, sipping your drinks together quietly as you watch a traditional Japanese breakfast come together under Katsuki's talented hands. He plates up rice, his rolled omelette, and then a sauteed kale stem and carrot salad off the stove—so that's what the julienne talk was about. Then grilled fish is laid over the top of the rice, and Katsuki lays out another side of soup and several tiny plates of carved fruits.
Shouto helps you off of his lap gently when it's finished, and Katsuki crowds you into your own chair between the two of them, charging another kiss for his efforts. You pay up eagerly, the meal and the man in front of you equally delicious.
"Eat it all," Katsuki demands of Shouto over your shoulder as he takes his own seat, pointing his chopsticks like a weapon at him. "You overused your quirk in Bunkyo yesterday, y'need to make up the energy deficit."
Shouto hums, used to Katsuki's bossiness.
You have to suppress an appreciative groan when the first bite of breakfast hits your mouth. The fish is fresh and sweet and the rice is warm and fluffy. As with anything Katsuki makes, it's cookbook perfect.
"It's sooo good," you say, your usual—though heartfelt—platitude. "Really good. Thank you both."
"It is made with love," Shouto specifies, his tone low and earnest in that disarming way he has. In the corner of your vision, Katsuki rolls his eyes, but pointedly does not deny it.
You take another bite, hiding your smile in a mouthful of sauteed kale stem and badly-julienned carrot.

Joseph Quinn cooks you a roast dinner- fluff
This is completely deranged but someone put it in my head and if I don't get it out I will cry. Introducing my thoughts on Joseph Quinn cooking you a roast dinner.
First up he's been nagging you for ages to let him cook for you. He's ridiculously proud of his roast dinner and can't wait to show off his skills for you.
When you get there he won't let you help, insists on you sitting down with a drink and the TV control while he cracks on.
He's wearing his baggy jeans with a plain black tshirt and he's got a teatowel over his shoulder. He looks fit obviously.
He's cooked a simple chicken but he's done all that fancy shit with olive oil, lemon and herbs so it's smell amazing.
He's done roast potatoes from scratch, in goose fat, with garlic and thyme. He's done that thing of shaking them up so they have loads of crispy bits.
His mash is made with butter and cream with lots of pepper so it's like little mouthfuls of heaven.
He's made a cauliflower and brocolli cheese bake with 4 types of cheese.
He's done some boiled carrots but he's cut them julienne style so they look fancy as fuck.
He's roasted a butternut squash with orange juice and honey.
It's not Christmas but yes indeed this man has made pigs in blankets. What a legend.
Yorkshire puddings? Man made them himself! Even got a minor burn in the process. He may be a Southern lad but he gets Northern points for this.
He's done some marrowfat peas because he knows you are just a scally girl at heart. He won't eat them though because he has standards. He's cooked some petits pois for himself.
Gravy from scratch obviously. 3 gravy boats worth.
He's laid the table and put your favourite playlist on.
You're not eating lamb but he's brought out the mint sauce because he knows you like it on your roasties (see scally notes above).
For pudding he's made jam rolypoly and he's bought the fancy posh custard. He could make it himself but honestly who can be arsed?
Obviously after this you fuck but that's for another post.

Character Bases
Development
Georgia’s a character whose concept was always solid but her exact design was hard to pin down. Pretty much every time I drew her I ended up experimenting with her facial structure, hairdo, hat, and eyes. The rounder face eventually won out and her hair became a cross between her first and penultimate styles, while her eyes became something entirely different (the eyes on her very first design were recycled for Lila).
Personality wise, GA became defined less by her background to make her a more flexible character. Georgia was designed alongside recurring character Julienne as a replacement for Rosie in what was formerly her (Rosie’s) time-skip spotlight season and was initially meant to debut in Season Two of ICT as a new recruit. Instead she was the last main character to be added to the main roster.

Pomegranate Almond Raita
Ingredients:
(Amount of all ingredients are approximate and can be changed)
2 cups plain Greek yogurt (or thick, strained yogurt) 1 cup pomegranate arils 1/4 almond slivers or slices Powdered sugar to taste (you may use any other sweetener) Zest of one orange (if you do not have an orange, you may use a few drops of pure orange extract) 4-5 leaves of fresh mint (optional) + more for garnish if you want
Method:
If you are not using Greek yogurt, strain out the yogurt until it’s thick and creamy. Remove arils from pomegranates and set aside.
Muddle sugar with mint leaves. If you are not using sugar, julienne the mint leaves or crush them. Whisk yogurt and orange zest or extract, until creamy and lump free. Fold in the sugar and mint. Fold in the pomegranate arils and the almonds.
Garnish with more pomegranate arils and fresh mint. Chill until ready to serve.
This is a very free form recipe. Use any amount of yogurt to any amount of pomegranates. Serve as a side dish, a condiment, healthy snack or a dessert.

At home, I usually prepare cheese "Kritsinia" that everyone in my family adores.
However, sometimes I try a recipe for Kritsinia that are lighter in calories and a healthier snack. Hence, this time I show you how to prepare these carrot Kritsinia, made with just 5 ingredients.
Once you prepare them, your kids will love their color shades, their slightly sweet taste from the carrots as well as their crunchiness and gobble them up without knowing that they contain carrots inside.
The ideal healthy snack for school, work and at home. Let me show you how to prepare them.
Suitable for vegans and fasting.
INGREDIENTS:
· 165 gr. / 5.8 oz / 1.3 cups Self-rising Flour
· 100 gr. / 3.5 oz Shredded-grated Carrots (julienne)
· 1/3 tsp. Salt
· 60 gr. / 2.1 oz / 70 ml / 0.3 cup Olive Oil
· 40 ml / 2.5 tbsp. Fresh Orange Juice
· Optional: 1/2 tsp. Turmeric
METHOD:
A. Make the dough and form the breadsticks:
1. Place grated carrots mixed with salt in a sieve for 1 hour, to release and shed their excess juices.
2. After 1 h, pour the olive oil in a stand-up mixer (using the dough hook attachment), adding the orange juice and turmeric (if using).
3. Pour in the grated, strained carrots and start beating them together with all the other ingredients.
4. Gradually add the flour spoon by spoon, and continue beating for 5' or until you get a workable, flexible and pliable dough that does not stick on your hands. Stop the mixer.
5. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
6. With your hands, form 17-18 balls of 20 gr. / 0.7 oz each (make sure they are all the same weight).
7. Roll each ball into a 16-17 cm / 6.3-6.7 in. long, thin stick (Kritsini).
8. Spread Kritsinia on the tray, with some distance between them. Repeat for all balls.
9. That's it, ready to bake!
B. Baking instructions:
10. Bake the tray with Carrot Kritsinia in a preheated oven, FAN @ 170 ℃ / 338 ℉ for 30'-35' or until they are golden (depends on the oven).
11. When ready, remove from the oven. When they come out, they look somewhat soft to the touch but they turn hard and crispy when they cool down!
C. Serving instructions:
12. Place the tray on the kitchen counter and let Kritsinia cool down completely so they'll stay crispy. That's very important!!
And then let everyone dive in. Dip them in a small bowl with olive oil and vinegar mix.
Or serve them to accompany spicy, Velvety Red Lentil Soup for the ultimate indulgence.
Or just with a slice of mature Kefalograviera cheese, mmmm!!

Στο σπίτι συνήθως ετοιμάζω Κριτσίνια τυριού που λατρεύουν όλοι στην οικογένειά μου.
Ωστόσο, μερικές φορές δοκιμάζω μια συνταγή για Κριτσίνια που είναι πιο ελαφριά σε θερμίδες και πιο υγιεινό σνακ. Εξ ου και αυτή τη φορά σας δείχνω πώς να ετοιμάσετε αυτά τα Κριτσίνια από καρότο, φτιαγμένα με μόλις 5 υλικά.
Μόλις τα ετοιμάσετε, τα παιδιά σας θα λατρέψουν τις αποχρώσεις τους, την ελαφρώς γλυκιά γεύση τους από τα καρότα αλλά και το πόσο κριτσανιστά είναι και θα τα καταβροχθίσουν χωρίς να ξέρουν ότι περιέχουν καρότα μέσα.
Το ιδανικό υγιεινό σνακ για το σχολείο, τη δουλειά και το σπίτι. Πάμε μαζί να σας δείξω πώς να τα ετοιμάσετε.
Κατάλληλα για βίγκαν και νηστεία.
ΥΛΙΚΑ:
• 165 γρ. / 5,8 oz / 1,3 φλ. Αλεύρι που φουσκώνει μόνο του
• 100 γρ. / 3,5 oz Καρότα τριμμένα (julienne-ζουλιέν)
• 1/3 κ.γ. Αλάτι
• 60 γρ. / 2,1 oz / 70 ml / 0,3 φλ. Ελαιόλαδο
• 40 ml / 2,5 κ.σ. Φρέσκος χυμός Πορτοκαλιού
• Προαιρετικά: 1/2 κ.γ. Κουρκουμάς
ΜΕΘΟΔΟΣ:
Α. Φτιάξτε τη ζύμη και σχηματίστε τα κριτσίνια:
1. Τοποθετήστε τα τριμμένα καρότα ανακατεμένα με το αλάτι σε ένα σουρωτήρι για 1 ώρα, να χύσουν τα περιττά ζουμιά τους.
2. Μετά από 1 ώρα, ρίξτε το ελαιόλαδο σε ένα μίξερ (χρησιμοποιώντας το εξάρτημα γάντζο για ζύμη), προσθέτοντας το χυμό πορτοκαλιού και τον κουρκουμά (αν χρησιμοποιείτε).
3. Ρίξτε μέσα τα τριμμένα, στραγγισμένα καρότα και αρχίστε να τα χτυπάτε μαζί με όλα τα υπόλοιπα υλικά.
4. Προσθέστε τώρα σταδιακά το αλεύρι κουταλιά-κουταλιά, και συνεχίστε το χτύπημα για 5' ή μέχρι να έχετε μια ζύμη εύπλαστη και ελαστική που να μην κολλάει στα χέρια σας. Σταματήστε το μίξερ.
5. Στρώστε ένα μεγάλο ταψί (λαμαρίνα) με λαδόκολλα.
6. Με τα χέρια σχηματίστε 17-18 μπαλάκια των 20 γρ. / 0,7 oz το καθένα (βεβαιωθείτε ότι έχουν όλα το ίδιο βάρος).
7. Ανοίξτε κάθε μπάλα σε ένα μακρύ, λεπτό Κριτσίνι των 16-17 εκ. / 6,3-6,7 in.
8. Απλώστε τα κριτσίνια στο ταψί, με λίγη απόσταση μεταξύ τους. Επαναλάβετε για όλες τις μπάλες.
9. Αυτό είναι, έτοιμα για ψήσιμο!

Γ. Οδηγίες σερβιρίσματος:
12. Τοποθετήστε το ταψί στον πάγκο της κουζίνας και αφήστε τα Κριτσίνια να κρυώσουν εντελώς για να παραμείνουν τραγανά. Αυτό είναι πολύ σημαντικό!!
Και μετά αφήστε όλους να πέσουν με τα μούτρα. Βουτήξτε τα σε ένα μικρό μπολ με μίγμα από ελαιόλαδο και ξύδι.
Ή σερβίρετε τα για να συνοδεύσετε την Πικάντικη Σούπα Βελουτέ Με Κόκκινη Φακή για απίστευτη απόλαυση.
