Sleepy prompt 4 for Luke/Alex/Reggie!!

For all Reggie had a very distinctive, very uniform style, he was a dirty little clothes thief when it came to bedtime.

It started with Luke's cutoffs. Luke was shirtless as often as he could, so obviously he went to bed shirtless. Hell, in the summer he slept naked, which was a very pleasant surprise for both Alex and Reggie.

Reggie, however, didn't like to sleep shirtless. Sometimes Alex thought that he'd prefer to sleep in one of those flannel pyjama sets you saw in cartoons. Preferably a plaid one. Usually though, because this was LA, it was a pair of thin, threadbare pyjama pants and t-shirts.

And since Luke wasn't wearing his shirts to bed anyway, that meant they were free game, right? And well, Alex couldn't complain, something about Reggie in Luke's shirts was really, very sexy. Luke seemed to agree, and more often than not, the shirt came right back off.

But then they went on tour. And it started to get out of hand.

First, his favourite fuzzy socks disappeared. Then Luke's boxers. Then...

"Dude, is that my hoodie?"

"The bus is cold!" Reggie whined. "Why couldn't we have done the winter part of the tour in like, Hawaii or something?"

"Dude, we're playing some of the best venues in New York and you're complaining about a little cold?" Luke asked. He was still shirtless, which even to Alex was a little bit over the top. The bus was kind of cold, okay?

"Yeah well maybe you can bask in the warm glow of applause and music, but some of us have human bodies that get cold," Reggie said testily. He still snuggled into Luke's arms demonstratively, hoodie and all. Fair, Luke was like a human furnace.

"You do look really cute in my hoodie," Alex said. He nudged them both over, crawling into the bed as well. It was a bit of a squeeze, but they'd insisted on the largest bed available in a tour bus. The label had finally allowed it, if only because Reggie had made sad eyes at them and said he couldn't sleep otherwise.

"Yeah?" Reggie said, grinning over his shoulder.

"Hmm-hmm..." Alex said, hand sliding up under the fabric.

"OKAY SO WE'RE GETTING REGGIE A PAIR OF EXTRA WARM PYJAMAS NEXT TIME WE STOP," Julie said much too loudly from the other side of the bus. "And you better not be trying to warm up any other way."

Whoops. Okay, so maybe they'd have to wait until the next time they got a hotel for that.

"Yes Julie."

"Sorry boss."

They settled down in a very wholesome, very not-sexual cuddle.

"He does look really cute, though," Alex said into the darkness, just to hear Julie groan and the guys snicker.

the main romantic pair are human sized, but there's several tiny fairy side characters that get a lot of screentime and quite a few good handheld moments too

downloaded code vein, got to the first cutscene in the first dungeon (after suffering in the tutorial because the keybindings are fucking weird and poorly explained) and my computer buddy oliver gets taken out of commission, i die almost immediately afterwards, respawn without him, and have to run all the way back to him fighting the same monsters we fought on the way in by myself and if i go back to restore heals, it respawns the monsters. i am truly having a gamer moment

Okay but The Boys Vs The Internet...

-Before Reggie got sucked into the fairy realm the internet was just starting to be big. You know homeboy went to the library and joined obscure Star Wars forums and webrings and such.

-Luke is not interested in the Internet and Computers. He is still getting used to the television. He has no use for MORE weird future things that involve screens. (Also google keeps passive-aggressively correcting his Ye Olde Spellinge with 'did you mean ...' and it annoys him.)

-That is until Carlos shows him how to find music on Youtube.

-He is VERY UPSET to learn that in Reggie's time there was a channel that played music videos all day but now it's mostly 'Reality TV'.

-Reality TV is not real reality. The future is weird and he's too scared to ask what a Snookie is.

-Alex likes watching dance things on The Internets, as well as soft-spoken ladies explaining how to make or bake or draw something. Just hearing soothing English helps him feel safe (he's not in the fae realm anymore) and nap.

-Willie, of course, is the first to discover what the Internet Is For. Aka funny cat videos and porn.

-He stalks up to Ray with the laptop he got the boys and plonks it down and accusingly says: YOU SAID PEOPLE DIDN'T DO REVELRIES HERE.

-On the screen there is an orgy playing. At top volume. Ray accidentally full-screens it while trying to turn it off.

-He has to have another very long talk with the boys about pornography, realistic expectations, exploitation, consent, privacy, internet safety, and how to avoid getting viruses. (Though his advice just kind of leans to 'just don't... please... for my sanity...')

-Willie is very concerned their computer can get sick and goes to the smartest people he knows (Flynn and Julie) to ask how he can look at The Pornography without getting the computer sick.

-Julie nopes right out of that conversation and Flynn cackles but does give him a quick rundown of 'don't click on that' and 'don't download random shit' and also 'the nice gentlemen wanting to chat with you just want your credit card details, you have enough pretty boys already'.

-Willie already knows giving out your name is a Bad Idea from living with the fae... not giving out his (non-existent) credit card details is not too hard.

update: after seeing the premiere of the succ show: i believe the general theme is "what generational trauma does to a mf" + "the inherent out-of-touch brainrot rich white people get over time"

it's like if everyone in the always sunny cast were rich as fuck, and the show were filmed like a mockumentary, a la the office or wwdits

all of this is to say: i really enjoyed it and understand the hype. god help me w/ the rest of this series because my attention span sucks with tv episodes longer than like, 20 minutes ghdskgjdagkgjhdgda

EXACTLYYYYY YOU GET IT (and YES the shaky camera, the ridiculous zooms, just the whole way they film the show...my parents aren't really familiar with that type of media so they never really understood when i said the show cracked me up, they were always like "why do you find this funny? this isn't a funny show" and like IT'S LITERALLY FILMED LIKE A COMEDY. RICH PEOPLE ARE A COMEDY, C'MON [if, y'know, you can ignore the terrifying amouts of power they have in their hands])

so happy you enjoyed it, not gonna say anything but you're in for a very wild ride, all the season finales are........oof.

now that my semester is over, here’s a few things i’ve been meaning to share: 

I GOT TICKETS TO ERAS TOUR IN SG!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ticket pre-sale and general sales days were horrible. Ticketmaster’s website kept crashing during the pre-sale, crashes less during the general sales but because the queue numbers were random, some people who got 5k as their queue number were able to get the tickets, but some who got lesser had false hopes. People who didn’t have access codes went to queue as well, which I understand but does affect the hopes of those who actually have codes but got pushed back in the queue because of them (the malaysia’s swiftie group chat was in a huge war during that day) 

For me, my cousin and I got lucky and were able to get pass the queue. But I got passed during pre-sale day while my cousin got pass during general sale day, so you can guess how furious I was when I picked my seats but can’t for my life log in to Ticketmaster to pay. (apparently they log you out after you closed the page for a long while ?!?!!?!) 

Pre-sale tickets sold out in 3 hours while general sale sold out in 8 hours. FOR ALL 6 DAYS. THE POWER THIS WOMAN HOLDS. 

Please taylor, record all those surprise songs performances BECAUSE I NEED IVY,  SEVEN, I MISS YOU I’M SORRY, TIMELESS, WHEN EMMA FALLS IN LOVE, AND ALL SURPRISE SONGS IN HD. 

She is chaotic for I Can See You surprise release and bringing out all the casts. I’d loose my mind if i was there.

Journal Raffle for Wafaa's Children and Grandchildren!

Hello! ❤️💚🤍 I wanted to take a moment to share a raffle we're been holding for this fundraiser. Originally it was being hosted by @/rafflesforpalestine, but it's now independent! Unfortunately this means that we don't have the proof of donation that was sent in before this switch happened - if you participated in the raffle before, please resend your proof of donation and we can make sure you're counted among the entries!

The situation Wafaa's family is in continues to worsen. At the start of this raffle, I remember seeing her fundraiser and realizing it wasn't the first time I had - I could remember Wafaa's niece, whose smile looked very much like hope. Two weeks ago, Wafaa received news that her niece and daughter had been martyred just days apart from each other. Please take a moment to read this and remember them.

Wafaa's family is still in danger, and their situation worsens by the day. Their home has now been destroyed, and they suffer from illness and malnutrition. Tumblr continues to shadowban Wafaa's blog, making it even more difficult for her to seek help for her family, and today shadowbanned Wafaa again for what is the third time in recent weeks. Wafaa's campaign has begun to stagnate, and still has a long way to go! Please, if you have a moment, consider donating. If not, please reblog and share Wafaa's story as much as you're able!

We will be raffling some journals to help Wafaa's fundraising efforts!
