Man, your Toffee analysis was what I needed to read and listen to. And honestly, I feel bad for how Toffee was treated. And while I'm not a fan of Moon/Toffee (or Heinous aka Meteora/Rasticore either), your analysis on Toffee is quite impressive as much as @sageoftheuniverse had done. I've had this ask sitting in my drafts for a while trying to think of something interesting to say, but after so many weeks I'm afraid I have to say I don't have much to say on Rasticore, which sucks because I enjoy him, but he really doesn't have enough to work with in canon to write a full analysis on.

Also most of his episodes take place in a part of the series I don’t really care to watch again but, I’ll write up some quick thoughts based on what I have watched recently and remember from my original watch.

First of all, I’m sorry you don’t care for Rasticore x Heinous/Meteroa, because I think that’s one of the most interesting and fun parts of his character. The show really did itself dirty by not exploring the other characters more in favor of trying to stay the Star and Marco show (while also ruining even that with all the teenage romance drama), but in particular they really missed out on what could have been some really hilarious scenes of Gemni being the third wheel to an almost perfect Villains in Love dynamic. I am doing a (slow) rewatch of svtfoe at the moment, and don’t intend to fully rewatch after Battle of Mewni but might rewatch a few episodes just for Rasticore and Meteora while I lament what should could have been.

Looking specifically at Rasticore, though, like I said, there really isn't much to go on with him in canon. He somehow went from a scared teen to fighting in the war to a bounty hunter/assassin with no explanation of how he went from point A to point C and no exploration of his motives which makes it feel like there wasn't any actual plan for him, and he was only featured in some of his scenes just to fill up space so they wouldn't have to design a whole other background character.

The scene from Meteora's Lesson (I actually despise as anyone following me on twitter may have figured out), Rasticore could have been swapped with any other Septarian youth in the gathering and it wouldn't have made a difference, since we don't see how Rasticore actually develops from this absolute wreck to the confident soldier seen in Moon the Undaunted.

The only take away we really get from this is that Toffee and Rasticore have known each other since they were teens, and it's popular to assume that they were friends since he is the only Septarian from this scene that sticks around into the series proper- but this is not actually confirmed anywhere I don't think?

They knew each other in their teens and served in the monster army together but they might not have been friends after all or they had a big falling out after Rasticore abandoned Toffee when Moon blew off his finger, because they aren't working together anymore during svtfoe's run.

Or are they?

Unfortunately, since we don't know what the entirety of Toffee's plan was or where he was going when he walked away after returning from the Realm of Magic, there's no way to confirm this...But I find it really convenient that one of Toffee's old war buddies just happened to be in close with the True Heir to the Butterfly Kingdom, implied to be dating/have dated her (and presumably had sex with her) to notice she was half monster.

So...What if the real reason Rasticore broke up with her so awkwardly and tried to leave was because he was planning on reporting to Toffee and receive his new orders, unaware of Toffee's demise?

This is their Galaxy Spirit form (it like a super saiyan but galaxy form). I imagine how they will be able to defeat Neutron Star with their demigod powers and it took me about 4 hours to finish this. It is shame that we never get a chance to see more transformers human form cuz the company cancelled it and the creators passed away. I really want to draw more but there are too many things to do such as doing class online assignments, finish Splatoon Catalog, & finding animation program.

And while we're on the subject of birds, spare a thought for Doctor Quack-

This guy couldn't have had it easy. He went from being Royal Physician to becoming the sole doctor of a refugee camp, and for the next ten years had to attend to the medical needs of multiple differing species with differing needs. Babies delivered? He has to do it. Eggs need incubating? Also him. Mammals, birds, reptiles? Gotta attend to all of them. And if that isn't bad enough, he has to do all of this while working with limited supplies and medical equipment, most of which is what can be scavenged out of Robotropolis and jury-rigged into being functional.

How many nights do you think he stayed up, wondering if the machinery works correctly, if the medicine will hold out, if the health of the villagers will be good enough to prevent serious emergency? Was he around when Julayla fell sick? Did he feel responsible when she died? How much guilt do you think he has, for those he could not save? And that's without getting into becoming a father, bringing a brood of ducklings into a world where the future seems so bleak...

... and all the while having to deal with one Sonic T. Hedgehog. Whether as a little kid or a teenager, you just KNOW at least one of the doc's ulcers can be traced to him. In the Knothole Days he probably kept a "_ Days Without Sonic Nonsense" poster somewhere.

Human Alternates of the Autobots and Decepticons

So, I have been brainstorming on what Team Arcadia, the human version of Team Prime and the Arcadians will be like. Arcadia is a fantasy land in the human verse where the elf Kinjiru and her family and the elven Commission live. As for where the human verse Decepticons, they live in a very dark continent where demons of Ars Goetia and such dwelled, seeking to claim Arcadia as their own land called Nidhogg.

Human Verse Autobots:

Optimus Prime - Aron (He's a male descendant of the Amazons whose magic amulet turns him into a manticore. Has dragonkin blood)

Ratchet - Rustlen (A tanuki and his amulet helps hide his animal form)

Bumblebee - Beckett (A plains elf whose animal form is a jackalope and has lightning magic)

Bulkhead - Trayne (A minotaur. He avoids beef, cause he feels that its considered cannibalism since a minotaur is part bull)

Prowl - Kitsu (He's a kitsune ninja whose an expert in illusions and controls black fox fire. He can transform at will)

Jazz - Tenko (An arctic fox-type kitsune ninja who controls snow and ice)

Sentinel Prime - Cyrrus (A male descendant of the Amazons and his magic turns him into a tigon)

Ultra Magnus - Leonidas (King of Arcadia, leader of the Elite Knights and friend of Elf Kougato. He has the power of lightning and transforms into a Nemean lion)

Rodimus Prime - Akira (Male descendant of the Amazons, Aron's half-brother whom they share the same dragonkin mother, and animal form is a tiger)

Hotshot - Rammot (Fire elf whose animal form is a fire lizard)

Kup - Copper (A retired war veteran who still stays around to teach cadets and the members of the Elite Knights. He's a mountain elf whose animal form is a mountain goat)

Brawn - Knuckle (A dwarf with Herculean strength. His amulet changes him into a splinter cat, a pangolin-bobcat hybrid beast with a superthick skull capable of powerful headbutts)

Ironhide - Nero (A descendant of the Nemean lion and has the ability to turn his body into indestructible diamonds)

Red Alert - Nikke (A savannah elf, was mentored by Rustlen, and her animal form is a gazelle)

Jetfire and Jetstorm - Orobas and Eligos (Human Phango's mentees who look up to him as their father figure, raised in Arcadia as fellow Arcadians as well as the first demon Elite Knights, and they can fuse together to become Gamigin, a giant winged anthro unicorn with two horns and wings who controls both wind and fire. Orobas' true form is an anthro demon stallion with flames for a mane and tail and Eligos' true form is an anthro unicorn stallion with two horns and glowing blue wings)

Alpha Trion - Merlin (The one and only Merlin himself. His animal form is a majestic kirin)

Perceptor - Percival (A robot-like golem made of metal but is extremely intelligent despite his robotically monotonous character)

Blurr - Hermes (A storm elf birn with lightning speed and runs as fast as The Flash. His animal form is a cheetah with spots shaped like pluses and minuses and a lightning bolt-shaped tail)

Wreck-Gar - Rumpel (He's a troll who was an old elementary school drawing but was splashed by the waters of the Holy Grail, a very friendly but nit-witted troll who enjoys eating trash which helps the environment)

Grimlock - Sword (Leader of the Dino-Men, cavemen frozen and preserved in ice until they were freed into the modern world. Posesses a pyronite (lava magicked gems only found in prehistoric time) sword and has a pet T-Rex named Grimey)

Swoop - Flail (The smartest yet quiet member of the Dino-Men, wields a pyronite flail and has a pet pterodactyl named Flappy)

Snarl - Club (The strongest yet slowest but good-hearted member of the Dino-Men, wields a pyrobite club and has a pet triceratops named Growly)

Cliffjumper - Clifford (An iron elf whose animal form is a big-horned ox)

Omega Supreme - Zhu Long (A ginormous gold and red Chinese dragon who helped the Elite Knights and the kingdom of Arcadia to defeat Marbas and his army of demons, banishing them to the dark reaches of Nidhogg as well as sealing them away with his own breath. After the war, he transforms into his human form which is a huge dark-skinned man wearing Chinese robes and he only turns into his true form to help carry Team Aron on his back when they want to fly somewhere far and to aid them combating large evil forces)

Arcee - Himari (A light elf who suffered amnesia when she and Rustlen were captured by Sitri during the war. Now recovered, she works as a teacher to teach humans how to use magic now that both fantasy and human worlds are one. Her animal form is a mink)

Starscream - Astaroth (True form is a winged wolf-eagle humanoid hybrid)

Her demon form is a massive lioness with eight eyes with the first two above her original eyes and the second and third pairs on either sides of her torso, four massive spider legs on her back and massive insect-like fangs containing paralytic venom. Her spider legs can fuse together to become insectoid wings when she wants to fly.)

Shockwave - Paimon (True form is a pale humanoid demon with horns taking the top half of his head with the eyes on his palms and wings. His elf form is called Pollux)

Swindle - Mephistopheles (MP for short; true form is a yellow and purple anthro cobra with a fox's face and tail)

Lockdown - Sitri (True form is a winged leopard with horns, claws and tail of a dragon and breathes black smoke that causes blindness, paralysis and causes the victim to fall asleep)

Spittor - Baal (True form is a giant demon toad with an insatiable appetite and three tongues)

Strika - Purson (True form is a bear-lion hybrid beast with a viper for a tail)

Cyclonus - Focalor (True form is an anthro tiger with eagle claws for hands, crocodilian tail, ram horns and feet like a velociraptor's)

Oil Slick - Crocell (True form is a black-winged angel wearing bone and skull trinkets, a leopard skin kilt and has a head of a hyena and a tail and fangs of a snake)

Blackout - Furfur (True form is a demonic anthro stag with metallic horns, dragon-like claws and wings and feet like an elephant's)

Scrapper - Agares (Was a normal construction worker named Igor until he, Sal and Zippo, their mean boss, accidentally drank from the Holy Grail (Human world version of the AllSpark) and turned them into demons. His true form is an muscular anthro crocodile with large boar-like tusks)

Mixmaster - Saleos (Was formerly Sal until the Holy Grail turned him into Saleos. His true form is a big bellied anthro alligator who can project cement-like vomit that quickly hardens to trap opponents)

Dirtboss - Zepar (was formerly Zippo until the Holy Grail turned him into Zepar. His true form is an anthro caiman in red armor and has a spiky tail that shoots quills. When the quills hit someone, they become his puppets)

Soundwave - Tsugumomo (A radio tsukumogami that bears a hatred to humans for how they treat their items and tsukumogami familiars and wishes to liberate all tsukumogamis to rule over them.)

Pretty much anything outside of my blog's theme, which is primarily an archive for my MoonToffee art and fanfics with the occasional dabble in something else I feel like doing

The only thing I do anywhere remotely close to any of these is the one word MoonToffee art prompts, which (when I have them) I do between writing my fanfics which are honestly more of my priority than my art.

Occasionally I might draw a giftart for friend, but I mostly keep these to a handful of close buddies who all were got involved with the same toxic person that turned me off art for a very long time.

Why sally acorn fits the batman parallel more than shadow

Lost her family and everything she cared about at a young age, dedicated her life to seeking justice and fighting against oppression

Has/had a mentor figure who took care of her when her parents were gone, said figure also served her family (Rosie/Julayla)

Is one of the only characters in a cast of characters with powers to not have powers and manages to not only be their leader, but also capable of defending herself against other powerful characters

Very tactical and strategic

Born into a family of mas wealth, may not have an alter ego but she is quite literally a princess and performs her royal duties when not fighting

Definitely uses said wealth to support the freedom fighters

Usually the voice of reason, doesnt communicate emotions well, makes the tough calls

Tails would be a good Robin parallel with her as batman

Why it's not shadow

Breaks the no kill and no guns rules

Fits more of a red hood narrative. "Died" and came back very angry at the world, took vengeance in his own hands and went down a darker path. Eventually eased up but still is much more morally grey than the other cast members. Has "died" multiple times.

Doesn't rly have anyone who will fill out the role of Robin with him

So...not going to lie I am considering rewriting the story but I'm just wondering if people would still be interested in reading a rewrite of the story... @julayla @sagesilentfire @thedemonwolf17 @thearoacefaneby @

After the story has ended, I've been wanting to figure out the right question about some things. Yeah, the rewriting was good and all, but I still feel like there were some characters wasted. I don't know, I just feel that way. I mean I get that you were mostly following the episodes in most of them in this rewrite, but...well if there was a minor character who should've been written better, who would it be?

Hmm...I suppose maybe Ludo I mean I didn't get to put him into it as much I did like his ending. I suppose except with the whole Marco and Star balloon figures in the closet that was...something. Maybe if I could even expand more on Nova and Eclipsa's sisterly bond but even then I wanted to keep things vague for those that had a specific idea about Eclipsa's past since it's been shrouded with so much mystery. It's why I didn't expand more on Nova's past I wated to keep things vague for the people to fit in their own timeline of Eclipsa's past.

Star too can be considered due to the whole mess that she was throughout the final seasons oh boy…with Ash and Star I wanted their friendship to be like Star is the extreme version of Ash’s chaotic side only with magic. Ash learned from Marco to more on the tame side trying to calm Star’s urges down she was to show Star how to be chaotic but with limits to know of the consequences of her chaos you could say. When Star tried to help Eclipsa into the role of Queen I wanted the series to show that although Ash and Star are friends they do argue just like any other pair of friends would. But with the writing of the season finale…yeah I can see where Star was left could be seen as messy.

Okay maybe Mina as well I mean I didn't expand too much on her nor Seth since there's still so little we really know about them you know...I guess my final character for all this would actually be Micheal when I was writing him I wanted him to be Ash's love interest but overtime I realized wow I'm just hooking Ash up because people like romance like I wasn't invested with it.

I've read fanfic after fanfic of an oc hooking up with Tom or someone else and I just thought with the messy end of SVTFOE becoming shipping fuel and sort of ruining the series. I wanted to do an Oc that was like yeah no relationships, like their development is all they need and this was mid writing the story. So I had to a whole rewrite for this. I thought it'd be funny to have a protag of a fanfic not to get together with someone despite being in a show known for its shipping.

This changed Micheal a whole lot I had to do rewrite after rewrite having no clear idea where Micheal’s character would go until I came with the idea of them just being friends and him learning he doesn’t need a relationship. Like Ash learned to be more compassionate and more in tune with her emotions thanks to Micheal throughout the story while Micheal himself learned he didn’t need to be in a relationship to be happy, he can be his own person. I suppose you could say Ash learned to depend on people more thanks to Micheal while Micheal learned to be more independent from Ash and that’s why I liked having them remain friends because guess what, girls and boys can be friends and I wanted to show that.
