2024: now the one annoyed by scourge/surges actions is the guardian of Azul. Ken Khan doesn't have any romantic relationship with her, only wanting to leave the situation. And Azul doesn't mind it at all.

Original description 2014:

Azul was placed in the position and told to go with Ken Khan to advocate for him in their travels. She got close to khan, doing her best comfort him when Sally decided to be playing with his feelings. Along the way they met with Scrouge who decided to tag along, becoming slowly protective of the girl. Since he and Khan got a connection with her, they agreed to confess to her, and if she wished, to share her. Azul ended up in a poly relationship with Scrouge and Ken khan.

Thinking about Blue Eye Samurai x Sonic stuff now...

Sally should be Mizu

Julayla (Sally's mentor) should be her stepmother

Monkey Khan should be her husband, whose name I forgot.

Sonic should be Tangen

Amy should be the daughter of the duchess

Amy's father should be that one royal guy.

Knuckles will be old man.

Tails will be Ringo.

I have yet to plan the roles out...

It’s been a while since I drew Surge and Khan together, so when I listened to Mesmerizer it hit me the inspiration that I needed to draw something with them :D In order to choose which one would be Miku or Teto, I used as a reference the hypnotism theme of the original song…If I understood correctly, Miku gets brainwashed and Teto manages to resist it (? Half of the stuff I’m saying here only makes sense if you listen to the song XD so basing it on the Idw and Archie comics, Surge rebelled against Starline but she’s still pretty much trapped to her programming of wanting to destroy Sonic, and Monkey Khan did manage to overcome Robotnik’s attempt of brainwashing him. That’s was more or less my logic, but I also think that you could switch the roles and it could still work lol

Vintage original set of (3) conceptual artworks accomplished in ink and watercolor on 14" x 8.5" artist's leaf paper. The Ceti eel is a genetically engineered creature created by "Khan Noonien Singh" (Ricardo Montalban), the main antagonist of the movie, who uses them as a means of controlling his enemies. The scene where "Chekov" (Koenig) and "Terrell" (Winfield) encounter the Ceti eels is one of the most memorable and unsettling moments in the film.

Ooh I was wondering if there was a link between I'm just Ken and Ghenghis Khan by Miike Snow, maybe GK was an inspiration?

Whoomp there he is: Andrew Wyatt, singer/songwriter for Miike Snow and songwriter/producer for the Barbie soundtrack and Barbie the album.
