hey! :) i love so many anecdotes about paul and they all completely disappeared from my mind when i saw your ask. i found it really hard to pick just one! so here's a few

When he invited a random man who claimed he was Jesus to sit in on the ‘Fixing a Hole’ sessions (just in case)

"I just went out to the door and said, "Yeah? What do you want?" ... and he said "I'm Jesus." I said "Well, you better come in!"

2. Managing to blag his way into travelling to Nice in France with no passport - just to film one shot of him on a hill for ‘The Fool on The Hill’ (which altogether costed £4000) (x)

3. Him and John turning up to a Pet Sounds listening party, telling everyone they have to remain silent, spending the whole time whispering to each other at the piano and then leaving. Also him & John making prank calls using tape recorders back in Liverpool. Basically any anecdote of them being annoying together

4. Irritating Mick Jagger by upstaging him at his own birthday party by playing ‘Hey Jude’ for everyone. Also when he pissed off Pink Floyd by delaying their set at Knebworth.

5. It doesn't fit with the others but there’s a story Paul tells in an interview about seeing a white squirrel in the countryside after Linda had died, and taking it as her coming back to give him a sign. It's the odd one out here but I like the story and his perspective there :)

The 11th fic for @like-a-bag-of-potatoes and @thing-you-do-with-that-thing‘s 12 days of SPN Christmas writing challenge.

Today’s prompt is Christmas eve and the ship is Jude (oc)/Mick.

Jude plops down next to Mick and lets out a long sigh.

“So. Everything is pretty much ready for tomorrow. Or as ready as it can be with this family.”

Mick puts an arm around her in a comforting embrace.

“I didn’t know you were that much into Christmas,” he notes.

“I’m not.” Jude shrugs. “It’s just… It’s one of the few holidays we’ve actually celebrated. Y’know. With Sam and Dean, and with my papa and…”

She trails off as her eyes begin to water, so Mick pulls her close and holds her.

“I’m sorry,” Jude mumbles into Mick’s chest after some time. “I get a bit sentimental ‘round Christmas, is all.”

Mick rubs her back gently.

“It’s alright, love.”

Jude sighs.

“Thank you, dear.” She places a gentle kiss on Mick’s cheek, then lets out a soft chuckle. “Happy Christmas eve, Michael.”

Música, música, música. Amo la música.

Es muy importante para mi, porque básicamente todo lo hago con música. Forma parte de mi vida desde que soy pequeña a pesar de no formar parte de un grupo musical o tocar algún instrumento, aunque esta ultima no la descarto, nunca es tarde para aprender ¡Nunca hay que decir nunca!

Tengo muchas canciones que me hacen sentir bien, con energía, felicidad o me transportan a épocas de mi vida donde todo era más fácil. Haré un top 20, aunque ninguna es más importante que otra, todas son muy relevantes para mi:

1. Blame It On the Boogie - The Jackson 5: Esta canción la he escuchado desde que soy muy pequeña y siempre me ha gustado. Me da energía, ánimo y ganas de trabajar e iniciar bien el día.

2. Sympathy For The Devil - The Rolling Stones: Amo esta canción y pienso que es una de las mejores de todos los tiempos. Recuerdo que durante mucho tiempo duro la frase ‘’pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name’’ rodeando en mi cabeza. Buen trabajo Mick Jagger y Keith Richards.

3. Sing - Ed Sheeran y Pharrel Williams: Es inevitable para mi no escucharla hasta el final. Me encanta.

4. Guns for Hands- Twenty One Pilots: De un tiempo para acá, me he hecho muy fan de estos dos chicos talentosos y adorables, y esta canción me encantó desde la primera vez que la escuche y se quedo en mi cabeza por horas y horas.

5. Misery Business- Paramore: Me considero fanática de las canciones de Paramore, y la gran mayoría me gusta pero ésta canción me recuerda a cuando era adolescente y todo era más fácil y estaba en bachillerato y pasaba el rato con mis amigos comprando Coca-Cola a 300 bs. Good old days.

6. Up in the Air- 30 Seconds to Mars: Al igual que Paramore, sigo a esta banda desde hace bastante tiempo y me gustan la mayoría de sus canciones, pero esta me da una energía increíble. El vídeo musical también es una pieza de arte magnifica. Además es interpretada por el único e inigualable: Jared Leto.

7. Isn’t She Lovely - Stevie Wonder: Cada vez que me pongo a trabajar en una maqueta, o limpiar debo colocar esta canción. Me la se completa y da como una vibra de felicidad inefable. ¡Grande Stevie!

8. Don’t Stop Me Now- Queen: ¡Me encanta Freddie Mercury! Me parece que dejo muy pronto la tierra, pero nos dejó su maravilloso trabajo musical y Queen es una de mis bandas preferidas. Entre mis favoritas, siempre.

9. Come On Eileen - Dexy's Midnight Runners: Recuerdo que ésta canción la escuche por casualidad en el canal VH1 en uno de sus playlist y desde entonces se quedo en mi mente, y mi playlist.

10. September- Earth, Wind & Fire: Mi madre es fanática de esta agrupación, así que desde pequeña conozco este tipo de canciones, y ésta es una de mis favoritas. También la pongo para limpiar ¡SIEMPRE!

11. Someday- Mariah Carey: Lo sé, parece que me quede en los 90′s. Pero en esa época era solo una niña y la música que escuchaba en esa época era justamente de este estilo, y ésta es mi canción favorita de Mariah de toda la vida. Si pudiera elegir, me encantaría poder cantar como ella ¡Que gran voz!

12. Feeling Good- Nina Simone: Esta canción me hace sentir en una película de James Bond, me gusta tanto la versión de Nina como la cover de Michael Bublé. Excelente canción.

13. Shake it Off - Taylor Swift: Si necesitas sentirte con energía, o con mucho ánimo, esta definitivamente es la canción correcta. Me encanta el video, y Taylor sin lugar a dudas es una chica tanto bella como talentosa.

14. Hey Jude - The Beatles: No solo es mi canción favorita de los Beatles, siento que está canción nunca termina. Es de esas canciones que nunca pasarán de moda para mi.

15. Chelsea Smile- Bring Me The Horizon: ¡Que gran giro! BMTH fue una de mis bandas favoritas de la adolescencia ¡Tenía todo de ellos! ¡Poster! ¡Discografía! ¡Fotos! ¡Covers! ¡Todo! Y esta canción sé que es cliché para muchos pero me recuerda también a cuando estaba en bachillerato y fue una época divertida en cierto aspecto.

16. I’m Not Ok (I Promise) - My Chemical Romance: ¡Volviendo a la adolescencia! ¿Por qué ya no sacan canciones así? Extraño estos tiempos.

17. Down - Blink 182: Es mi canción favorita de esta banda, y siempre me hace sentir bien escucharla. Sé que todos extrañamos a Tom.

18. Through The Dark- One Direction: Debo admitirlo, me sé ésta canción del comienzo hasta el final. Me gusta todo de ella, la letra, el sonido, la melodía, las voces. Estos chicos tienen mucho talento, y ojala les vaya de maravilla en sus carreras como solistas. Tienen potencial y carisma para lograrlo.

19. Oasis- Supersonic: Lo sé, me gusta mucho la música de antes. ¿Acaso nací en la época equivocada? Pues, no lo sé, pero ésta es una de mis canciones favoritas y me hace sentir bien escucharla.

20. Heroes- David Bowie: We could be heroes, just for one day...

¡Tantas canciones! Y todavía faltan, pero por ahora éstas son las que recuerdo. Cabe destacar que todas no son mis favoritas, pero sí me hacen sentir bien al escucharlas, me dan ánimo. La tristeza no existe con esas canciones y eso es lo más importante. Sé que alguno se sentirá identificado con alguna de mis retorcidas opciones. Mi playlist creo que es el lugar más extraño y variado en toda la tierra.
