Okay this is a bit of a plea for help--
I picked up the first couple of issue of the New JSA book this week and I am just. So lost. ( that's not me trying to make a judgement on the writing, I'm well aware that my reading habits are why I'm confused). I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to start reading background to help it makes sense. (Note, I decided that after extensive wiki reading the way to gateway into reading comics was just to read every Stephanie brown appearance and it's pretty have for them to include her in the big universe altering events so I am not read in on basically any major events following rebirth)
Essentially, I'm nor well versed in what’s going on in current DC continuity and I'm not really experienced with the JSA either, and I knew that going in but I figured that when I got lost, I'd go back and read whatever I needed to in order to clarify. I just. Don’t even begin to know where that is.
Am I shouting into the void? Maybe, but I’m gonna do it anyway

if only in my dreams
Summary: Kara and Kal make the Kryptonian equivalent of cookies. ficmas day nine: cookies Rating: G Relationships: Power Girl & Kingdom Come Superman
.............
They had gotten the recipe from Earth-1's Kal-El. He'd offered to bake with them, but both Karen and Earth-22's Kal-El felt it was best if it was just the two of them. He had his Lois and his Earth. They only had each other.
Karen knew she had a family in the Justice Society if she wanted it. But there was something about watching Kal-El move around Ma's kitchen that just felt like home. He looked so much like Kal-L. Clark was great, and Karen enjoyed the time they spent together, but their Kryptons were different. And he was so young, so different from the cousin she'd known. Kal-El had the same streaks of gray in his hair, the same wrinkles by his eyes.
And he knew what it was like to lose your adopted world. He knew what it felt like to not belong not only on this planet, but in this universe.

While IC character wise doc would NOT be stealing as much as I do constantly in game - the in game effect of Arcade immediately sniping singular witnesses before they can alert other enemies is kinda hilarious to me. JSA would be perfectly happy to sneak away but oh- the enemy is already dead :|

Super Short Sunday! Callum Turner Edition! Autographs! Photos! And More!
Super Short Sunday…Er…Monday – Callum Turner Edition January 29, 2024 By: Scott I saw that one of my favorite “newer” actors was going to be out and about in town. I am speaking about Callum Turner who has been in some great films over the past few years. With each film, Callum’s star continues to rise. Callum was very fan friendly, signed two of my posters, and took a picture with me. Thank you…

Long-time fan favorite characters Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Jade, Obsidian, Jesse Quick, Hourman, Ted Grant, and Sandman are all back on the roster as DC’s first super team faces their greatest and most personal challenge yet. Will golden age ideals hold true in a world recovering from the events of Absolute Power? Or do they need a more hardcore approach to stand a chance against the new Injustice Society of America?

SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks 2024: Check Category-Wise Cutoff for LDC, JSA, and DEO Posts
Tumblr media
SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks 2024 for Tier I have been declared for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). The cutoff marks are important as they determine whether candidates qualify for the next stages of the recruitment process. Each category—UR, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ESM, OH, HH and VH—has a specific cutoff mark, which reflects the competitive nature of the SSC CHSL exam. Knowing the cutoff marks will help you assess your performance and prepare for the next stage of the recruitment process.
SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks 2024 Tier 1
In this guide, we will explain the SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks 2024 in detail, showing the category-wise minimum qualifying marks for each post. We will also explore the factors that influence the cutoff, give information about expected trends and help you understand how to interpret the results. Whether you are aiming for LDC, JSA or DEO posts, this comprehensive analysis will help you stay informed and better prepared for the challenges ahead. What Are SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks and Why Do They Matter? The cutoff marks in the SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) exam indicate the minimum marks required for candidates to qualify for the next stage. These cutoff marks are based on factors such as the number of vacancies, the difficulty level of the exam, and the overall performance of the candidates. Each category including UR, OBC, SC, ST, and others has a specific cutoff, which ensures fair competition among different reservation categories. Candidates must meet or exceed the cutoff marks to proceed to the next round of selection, be it Tier II, skill test or document verification. Understanding these cutoff trends can also give an idea of how competitive the exam is, giving candidates a benchmark to strive for in the future. Factors Affecting SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks 2024 - Number of Vacancies: The total number of vacancies for each post, such as LDC, JSA, or DEO, plays a significant role in determining the cutoff. The higher the number of vacancies, the more likely it is for the cutoff to be lower as more candidates can qualify for the next round. - Difficulty Level of the Exam: Another important factor is the difficulty level of the SSC CHSL Tier I exam. If the exam is challenging, the cutoff marks may be lower, and vice versa. The level of competition and the complexity of the questions directly impact the cutoff score. - Performance of the Candidates: The overall performance of candidates also influences the cutoff. If a majority of candidates score higher, the cutoff will naturally increase, reflecting a more competitive environment. Conversely, lower performance will lead to a decreased cutoff score. Category-Wise SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks 2024 Below is a detailed breakdown of the SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks 2024 for various categories and posts such as LDC, JSA, and DEO: (i) Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) Cut-off Marks and Available Candidates CategoryCut-off MarksCandidates AvailableUR157.361686,362SC139.684087,003ST129.445682,950OBC156.6166510,887EWS150.517316,656ESM78.230083,698OH124.70219763HH81.06810532VH123.78593583PwBD- Others72.53530401Total–39,835 In addition to the UR candidates mentioned above, the following candidates have qualified at UR cut-off: 981 – SC, 176 – ST, 8,543 – OBC, 3,814 – EWS, 5 – ESM, 128 – OH, 8 – HH, 122 – VH, and 26 – PwBD-Others. This table provides the category-wise cutoff marks and the number of candidates who qualified for both LDC/JSA and DEO posts. These cutoff scores help candidates understand where they stand and the number of competitors they’ll face in the next round. How to Check the SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks 2024 Checking the SSC CHSL cutoff marks 2024 is a straightforward process. Here is how you can get the cutoff details for your category: - Visit the official SSC website: Go to the Staff Selection Commission’s official site at ssc.nic.in and log in using your credentials. - Navigate to the results section: Look for the "Results" tab on the homepage and click on it. - Find the SSC CHSL Result link: In the results section, locate the SSC CHSL Tier I Result 2024 and click on the appropriate link. - Download the cutoff PDF: The result PDF will also contain the category-wise cutoff marks. You can download the PDF and check your category’s cutoff score against your obtained marks. Trends in SSC CHSL Cutoff Marks Over the Years The SSC CHSL cutoff marks vary each year depending on several factors like the number of applicants, vacancy levels, and exam difficulty. Analyzing previous years' trends can help candidates predict future cutoffs. For example, in 2023, the cutoff for UR candidates was slightly higher than in 2022, which was due to the larger number of applicants and a relatively moderate exam level. In 2024, the cutoff for the UR category saw a marginal decrease due to a higher number of vacancies and a moderate difficulty level. Candidates should track these trends to set realistic expectations. What to Do After Qualifying SSC CHSL Tier I? Once candidates qualify for SSC CHSL Tier I by meeting the cutoff marks, they will move on to Tier II which is a descriptive paper. This paper requires candidates to write essays or letters on given topics and will further test their comprehension and writing skills. Successful candidates from Tier II will then move on to Tier III which includes a skill test or typing test depending on the post applied for. Candidates need to prepare thoroughly for Tier II, especially focusing on their writing skills. The final selection will depend on the overall performance in all the tiers and the final merit list. SSC CHSL Tier I Result 2024: Preparing for the Next Stage Getting the SSC CHSL cutoff marks is a great achievement, but candidates must be prepared for the next stages. Understanding the cutoff trends and the factors that influence them will give insight into what is required to excel in future exams. Make sure to stay updated on official notifications and maintain a consistent study schedule to succeed in all levels of the SSC CHSL recruitment process. Summary: Wes and Sandy decorate the tree. ficmas day four: music Rating: G Pairings: None
....................
Music filled the living room as Sandy watched Wes fumble with the tree. It was the largest Christmas tree he'd seen in his life. The trees he and his mother had never had anything more than a string of lights and a star at the top, but Wes had boxes of decorations piled in the living room: gold stars, red and green baubles, sparkly silver glass shaped like icicles. Wes had said they could put up as many as Sandy wanted. He wanted to fill the tree.
Wes stepped back to examine the tree. “What do you think? Straight?”
“I think so!”
