God Rose him from the dead and gave him magical fire swords that can kill true evil literally no one can tell him anything. Flaming swords are mentioned constantly in the Bible, usually used by angels, typically when they're enacting justice in God's name. Jason's grave is marked by a huge weeping angel. In the confrontation at the end of utrh the panel of Jason pointing his gun at Bruce explicitly mirrors Michaelangelo's painting of Lucifer. Jason is regularly portrayed as a fallen angel. Jason's Robin memorial is often portrayed as an altar of sorts to be prayed as. His ghost/Dick's hallucination of Robin Jason very much acts like an angelic figure pushing Dick to keep going.

I don't know why people doubt the European cons make bank. Misha's been doing a few extra comic cons every year, you know, and it wasn't just for the heck of it. // Jared and Jensen will have even bigger numbers of ops sold because of status, but also because they've made themselves "scarce" all these years. Europe is an undertapped market and wait until they hit South America (assuming they will eventually) // Creation blew it not keeping J2 exclusivity in the US and JP signed on (with Gen)

Of course European cons make bank. They make bank because they are careful with their budgets. Jensen charged as much as Helena Bonham Carter. If I was running a con and I had a choice between hiring both J2 or hiring one and Helena Bonham Carter, I'd choose the latter because of the broader fan appeal.

Misha doesn't charge near what J2 cost. $300k is extremely high.

Of course, there are cons that are currently researching to see if they can afford both Js because they'd like to do it, but I don't think most fans realize how much J2 charge.

they might mention it in RE9, but i doubt we'll get like. an extended flashback sequence or even a full game dedicated to it.

yeah pretty much. capcom gives them an overview of "this is what the movie should be about, here's the general conflict, this is where and when it should be set, these are the characters involved. go do it. oh and make sure this product placement is in it, because they gave us money. thanks." and that's it. it's also very likely that someone from capcom was in the room while this was being made just for general oversight -- but i'm sure they weren't hands-on with it at all.

there's actually some sort of weird part of JP copyright law that says that, even in licensing, the IP holder has to be involved in the making of the product somehow. in most cases, it's just a few emails back and forth. some choose to be more involved than others. i doubt capcom was highly invested in DI, though.

it's because that's what RE does.

RE loves to end on a note of drama and intrigue and then do absolutely fucking nothing with it.

that german leaker, andy, actually talked about this a bit in his stream -- about how every director and producer in capcom has full creative freedom to make any kind of story they want in RE and are not at all beholden to picking up where the last guy left off.

he said that this specifically is the reason why nothing was ever done with the loose end of steve burnside -- why he was never brought back as a tyrant or something, despite wesker implying that he would. it's because no one wanted to fucking do anything with it. so no one did. and it got dropped.

he also said that this is why we'll probably never see sheva or helena again.

and he also said that this is why RE9 will have nothing to do with blue umbrella. it's because the guys making RE9 didn't give a shit about that plot line. so they didn't use it. and they didn't have to.

the first iteration of the extended, messy Batfamily that's so beloved now cropped up during No Man's Land, and MAN am I fond of that particular dysfunctional little crew.

like. you've got Bruce, more deranged than ever; Alfred, doing his best; Dick, somehow commuting between Bludhaven and the federally fenced-off Gotham, still pretty fed up with Bruce's shit and perpetually ready to argue with him; Tim, who lies and runs away from his father so much to get back into Gotham that he ends up getting rescued so dramatically and publicly that sitting president Bill Clinton is invested in it; Barbara, who's tactfully ignoring that her dad and Batman are no longer on speaking terms and is cobbling together a functioning information system for the city out of payphones and duct tape; Jean Paul, who's Jean Paul and therefore living perpetually at rock bottom; Cass, who's brand new and still creeping out pretty much everyone except Babs and JP; and Helena sniffing around the edges, pissed at Bruce and hooking up with Dick semi-regularly even though she was complicit in an attempt to kidnap Barbara. My Grail Live Costumes from Favorite to Least Favorite & Why (if you care to read XD)

This list isn't put with how much I like the servant in mind, it's just about the costumes & my preferences x3

Jeanne - I'm a sucker for white/gold angel aesthetics & I think it really suits her. This outfit will make me use Jeanne a little more because otherwise I don't care for Jeanne. Not sure why this outfit gets called ugly.

Tamamo Cat - The "90s Ice Cream Shop" outfit really suits her. I like it better than her other ascension's costumes (minus the first that ones alright)

Euryale - A very natural design for her, nothing extreme but ig that's why I like it? It suits her -w-

Med B - Isn't too over the top, fits her ascension sprites colors but brings a more modern sleekness I found myself enjoying a lot more than the warden outfit.

Ushiwaka - Very frilly and colorful while also keeping a certain "bite" that suits her personality. It's also nice to see her without her "boob cards"

Nitocris - I feel like i'd enjoy this costume more if she had her third ascension haircut. Was never a fan of her bun hairstyle. Plus there's something that doesn't feel right about her lower half, not sure if it's the skirt or the socks.

Helena - Costume gives candy vibes and I love it, makes me wish I had her on main. (I got her on side tho >w>) Kinda wish the boots were just pink heels tbh or had a tighter fit.

Mash - Imma be real, I don't use Mash especially after they force you to use her trash kit in the Lostbelts. But I have enjoyed this outfit the most since I first got it on JP. It's very cute.

Serenity - The Hassan's feel kind of forgotten after Camelot, so i'm glad they gave my favorite one an outfit...I just wish the dress was a lavender/blueish-purple color instead of pink...

Shuten - Love the Cherry Blossom + black theme. Is very cute on her & I would consider having tea with her...If I was sure she wouldn't poison me.

Altera - The all white suits her a bit more than her normal outfits white and black, i'm just not a fan of the half-naked theme she has going on (this is probably why im not a fan of Altera in general >>) Would have rather had something like her Extella, Next Door Outfit.

Nero - No. Nero doesn't need another outfit and this one just looks like a Halloween dress if i'm being real. Maybe if it was another color i'd be more partial to it. Her "Silk of Venus" outfit will stay my favorite (even if I don't like Nero in general but that's not why this outfit is at the bottom)
