Chapter 1: Uncertain therapy.

WARNING!!! This post does NOT correlate with my thoughts or feelings on life. I just wanted to write a piece of fiction to vent to. And even if it is, what are ya, a copper?

John was a 14 year old boy who was given big expectations when he was born, but was unable to keep them. Having parents with very strict expectations was, stressful; to say the least. They were also perfectionist, making sure there kid did everything correctly. They planned out his entire future before he was even born; college, home, spouse, grandchildren, life insurance, jobs, sports, on and on. But, unfortunately, the parent's did not a count for one thing; autism.

As soon as they got the news, they tried to adapt there plans to this sudden report, but were struggling.

John's parent's were raised in the era where accidentally sneezing would have everything they owned to be thrown away and burned. Another thing that happened in there time was being yelled at to the point that there eardrums would rupture from the constant yelling they had to endure.

Unfortunately, a lot bit of that was transferred to there current parenting, whether they like it or not. As you may have guessed, this is not good for someone's mental health.

Μαμαλούκα: Ταξίδι σε ονειρικές γεύσεις στο κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης

Στο εστιατόριο Μαμαλούκα στη Πλατεία Ελευθερίας, στο κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης, θα ταξιδέψεις σε ονειρικές γεύσεις.

Το Μαμαλούκα άνοιξε τις πόρτες του και υποδέχθηκε τους θαμώνες του για πρώτη φορά το 2018. Από τότε μέχρι σήμερα έχει γίνει το talk of the town διότι το Μαμαλούκα διαθέτει ψυχή και καλαισθησία τόσο στο φαγητό του όσο και στον χώρο του. Άλλωστε το μότο του μαγαζιού είναι «Φαγητό στη ψυχή». Το σίγουρο είναι ότι σε αυτό το μαγαζί θα νιώσεις άνετα από τις υπέροχες μυρωδιές των φαγητών και την υπέροχη αύρα του προσωπικού.

Το στυλ και η διακόσμηση του Μαμαλουκα είναι συνδυασμός boho με μοναστηριακές πινελιές και μια εσάνς μοντέρνας αρχιτεκτονικής. Εξάλλου το μαγαζί είναι ότι πρέπει για να το επισκεφτείς με την παρέα σου ή την οικογένειά σου και σίγουρα θα απολαύσεις το φαγητό σου συνοδεύοντας το με κάποιο από τα εκλεκτά κρασιά ή τα signature coctail του. Αν οι καιρικές συνθήκες το ��πιτρέπουν τότε υπάρχει η δυνατότητα το μαγαζί να βγάλει τραπέζια έξω στο πεζοδρόμιο.

Μιας και μιλήσαμε για φαγητό και ποτό είναι μια καλή ευκαιρία να σταθούμε στο μενού του καταστήματος. Εδώ οι foodies θα λατρέψετε την κουζίνα του Μαμαλούκα διότι συνδυάζει τις παραδοσιακές με τις μοντέρνες συνταγές και το πάντρεμα Ανατολής και Δύσης. Στην τελευταία μας επίσκεψη στο μαγαζί ξεκινήσαμε δοκιμάζοντας νοστιμότατο ζεστό κανταΐφι με κατσικίσιο κορμό, μαρμελάδα αχλάδι και καραμελωμένα αμύγδαλα. Έπειτα περάσαμε στα κυρίως πιάτα όπου γευτήκαμε Κερκυραϊκή παστιτσάδα η οποία μας ταξίδεψε νοερά στο νησί των Φαιάκων. Το δεύτερο κυρίως πιάτο ήταν χοιρινό κρέας τυλιγμένο με τραγανό φύλλο συνοδευμένο με αγιορείτικο μέλι, κρητική γραβιέρα και σουσάμι. Επομένως μπορείτε να καταλάβετε την έκρηξη γεύσεων που νιώσαμε στον ουρανίσκο μας.

Ακόμη στο μενού οι επιλογές για φαγητό δεν αρκούνται μόνο στα παραπάνω. Μπορούμε να διαλέξουμε μεταξύ άλλων σαλάτες, ποικιλία ορεκτικών και κυρίως πιάτων. Όμως αυτό που κάνει τη διαφορά είναι τα Josper πιάτα όπου εκεί βρίσκουμε φρέσκα ψάρια ημέρας, χοιρινό, πρόβιο και μοσχαρίσιο κρέας. Στο πλούσιο γεύμα μας συμπεριλήφθη το εκλεκτό μυρωδάτο ροζέ κρασί το οποίο σίγουρα πρόσθεσε κάτι ξεχωριστό στο φαγητό μας. Ωστόσο ο επισκέπτης έχει τη δυνατότητα να προτιμήσει ανάμεσα σε ρούμι, λικέρ, ουίσκι, τεκίλα αλλά και μπύρες, ρετσίνες και αναψυκτικά. Το Μαμαλούκα διαθέτει λίστα με αποστάγματα για να «γλυκάνουν» κάθε γούστο.

Στο τέλος του φαγητού μας το κατάστημα μας κέρασε παγωτό βανίλια σερβιρισμένο με χειροποίητες κρητικές δίπλες και μέλι. Τι καλύτερο από το να γευτείς το «όνειρο» φέρνοντας την αρμονία στην γαστρονομική εμπειρία σου.

Η βασική προτεραιότητα του Μαμαλούκα είναι η ταχύτατη εξυπηρέτηση αλλά κυρίως ο πελάτης να μείνει ικανοποιημένος. Σε αυτό συμβάλλει η ευγένεια και η αμεσότητα του προσωπικού το οποίο με χαμόγελο και ζεστασιά ανταποκρίνεται άμεσα στις απαιτήσεις των πελατών συμβάλλοντας σε μια εκλεπτυσμένη γαστρονομική πανδαισία. Οπότε την επόμενη φορά που θα βρεθείς για ψώνια ή για δουλειές στο κέντρο της πόλης φρόντισε να κάνεις μία στάση στο Μαμαλούκα.
