One of the things that just (finally!) clicked with me is that great connection when Josie tells Hope in 2x07 “I want you to stay.”

Everyone is always leaving Josie—Caroline and Penelope, specifically that we know of in the past, and her (ex)boyfriend Landon moments later—she’s never enough for people/the people she loves to stay.

So it makes perfect sense on that level, as well as others, that she wants Hope to stay.

Closed Starter

Any life would be better than the life she had with her father. She had been with Ellis for little over three weeks now, and things have been...strange, to say the least. He had been kind to her, kinder than she expected. The blonde was fed, allowed to do what she wanted, speak to whomever she wished. She was without a doubt not a prisoner of this bargain, despite being tied to the vampire by it.

A loud noise woke Josephine up from her sleep. Her heart leapt into her throat, fear settled into her stomach. She slowly got up from the bed, letting the blanket fall to the side. Ellis had been gone for a while, so perhaps he had returned? Josie made her way to the long hallway, eyes falling on the staircase. She cast her gaze down from the railing, catching a glimpse of a shadow in the living room. "Ellis?" Josie called out, but there was no answer.

The blonde was finally downstairs and upon making a turn, she was met with a rather gruesome sight. Her husband (which was so strange to say) was covered in blood. A gasp escaped her, hands came up to cover her mouth. There was a feeling around him, a dangerous one. He was like a predator just back from the hunt. Despite that, Josie slowly approached him. josie had lost a lot of her faith after the merge, but now that lizzie is back from the dead and hope is talking to her again, it appears there is a rejuvenation on the rise. the siphoner is filled with a type of hope that she thought was long lost. for the first time in a long time, it appears that she is putting her wants first, as she know begins the search for masked woman she met at the masquerade ball.

however, josie is filled with insecurity, something that she desperately is trying to work on, but it does get in the way. for three years, she was faithless, loosing all want to really be a person in the world. something that was met with discouragement after dabbling in black magic in europe.

can josie find herself again?

They didn't recognize the EXE program.

And so they refused to open them.

That is excellent internet security hygiene.

They went to a trusted person (their brother) and verified WinRAR was legit and then proceeded to unpack the files.

How is this not *encouraging* for gen alpha? Is it just because they didn't know what WinRAR was? Who cares? I'm just proud they were being careful.
