INSIDIOUS (2010) + REWATCH

An underwhelming horror movie that relies heavily on jumpscares and musical stings for its frights. What can I say? It’s just not for me. Sure it has a lot of good elements to it, spooky characters, good pacing, great actors, but this film just falls short of my standards. Above all else, it was boring. Nothing really memorable happened and that is why I think I have to stick with my guns and keep this at a 2 star rating.

Hot dad from The Conjuring series is forced to go into the upside down when his loser kid goes into "not a coma." The reactions to the horrors are believable but the horrors themselves flip from demons to creepy old lady's to an old time-y horror picture show… For a movie with so much build up I was expecting something much more exceptional. The pace of the movie was pretty good, starting with spooks pretty much off the bat but… I'll watch the others in the series I just can't say that I'm excited to.

REWATCH REVIEW

A child of the house falls into what is certainly not a coma but is a very long sleep and the mom is very quick to blame ghosts which, I mean, good for her, but also, damn, she’s crazy. A psychic comes in to inform us that this little kid is a terrific astral projector so much so that he went into a different dimension of sorts (bring back Gabbie while you are there, why don’t ya) and left his body to be possessed by any number of demons… Seems wack. Because they buried the lead that the dad also is “a traveler” so his mom had to go through this same demon spiel with him when he was a kid. They do some automatic writing which I think is pretty neat but that makes more ghosties come. Finally it is decided that the dad has to astral project to save the boy (who didn’t see that coming?).

The astral projection is BORING. It is a black empty space, the two houses, or a dungeon. That is it. Nothing fresh, new or exciting. Nothing “Astral.” Anyway, hot dad gets his kid and makes it out, or does he? I don’t know that I believe a child is strong enough to fend off a demon that is basically Satan but a grown man isn’t able to beat an old woman. I get she was his nemesis or whatever but wow did they just throw that in at the very end. You would think Elise would notice sooner given that she is a psychic… She didn’t actually use her “abilities” she just was there and saw things everyone else who was a non-psychic could see. I guess she did talk to the son for them but that just invited more chaos into the home. Whatever, all's well that ends up setting us up for the sequel, I guess.

The "Whispers" Law of Attraction Analogy

In your spirit, you will often hear the "whispers" of a coming First Cause Revelation.

Something inside you is stirring. Gestating and preparing to present itself to your awareness. A new revelation that will leave you awestruck and breathless.

This isn't just a common experience, but an in depth, visceral, heart-shifting experience that leaves you expanded. A sort of religious experience, as if you had met an old testament prophet with a word for you from the ancient Jewish God.

This is the power of a true First Cause Revelation.

The external world, with all of its infinite complexities, unmet expectations, resistance and "density" can be completely disheartening to the spirit. I can only imagine how some of you may feel right now.

You may be facing the most difficult challenge of your life and you are in fear of what the future holds and are unclear of what to do. You may fear that your contribution doesn't even matter. You may not be in the greatest challenge of your life, but that doesn't stop the depression of looking at conditions which attest to your powerlessness and speak of a potential upcoming challenge.

This is the consciousness that comes with looking at sense evidence. Looking at the external world even to the slightest degree carries with it the seed of immense trauma. A disheartening and depressing spirit that completely takes you out of commission. This of course affects you in every area of your life.

You can't seem to find motivation to do anything. Even the simple and easy things you know you have to do.

You want to press your purpose deep into the world and manifest with the self actualizing force of a God.

But the second cause consciousness remaining in your spirit is like a ball and chain around your ankle, or a ceaseless background noise of impending doom or  insignificance.

Let's face it. The external world is a bitch. And it's infinite complexities is like a seemingly spirit crushing maze or labyrinth with no way out or through.

I GET IT. I do. It truly is so very difficult. My heart and spirit resonates with you all for I am human too, despite all of my revelation.

But something deep down inside, something intangible speaks to you. There's a voice, a soft touch that's almost indistinguishable and can be easily missed.

This voice is what I call the whisper of an upcoming First Cause Revelation.

Something inside, in spite of all the evidence against it seems to tell you ever so quietly: "Your own thought is the only power. This sense evidence isn't real. Your worth in inherent and divorced from the external world and all of its philosophies. You have the innate ability to manifest your desires despite conditions. You can and you will and in fact, you have. You're here for a purpose and it's greater than you could imagine. Your visualization is going to override your present reality and put a lot of people's externally conscious and merit based philosophies to total shame. You have everything you could ever want and nothing could ever stop it from coming to you because its been yours since before the foundation of time. There is no second cause, you are the only thing that exists and are all worthy, all powerful, fully and irrevocably GOD."

That whisper in your spirit is the voice of truth, that whisper is the law of attraction.

Its the whisper that tells you that the cute girl you like can like you back by you merely insisting in your own imagination that she likes you back!

It's the whisper that tells you money is about to manifest and that the right provision will come at the exact time when you need it and that you'll have more than enough if you merely do not worry about it!

Its the whisper that talks about, not your impending doom, but about the impending manifestation of your desires and the tremendous glory to be experienced in the knowing that you are the most high God and that nothing that anyone thinks in this world is true!

What's true is the Law of Attraction! And anything that opposes it's principles and premises is a lie!!!

This whisper of an upcoming revelation will have you trembling, for you know like you know like you know that upon this revelation, being that the external world is a mirror, the revelation is going to trigger and release to you the most important of your desired manifestations.

Nothing is too great of happening, nothing is too good to be true, nothing is too good to last. And that is the peace that transcends all understanding.

You must draw out this revelation like a midwife would help draw out the baby from a mother in labor. Your own consciousness is trying to present itself with a new, ground breaking perspective, that is truly on the event horizon of thought. Cutting edge ideas that seem to effortlessly trigger a slew of unmerited favor that was held in "escrow" for you until the moment you had this First Cause revelation of non-duality.

This is what life is about. It's about your own consciousness' union with its self. Your own consciousness becoming more aware of and having a greater revelation of consciousness! Literally, consciousness being consciousness conscious!

It's the best feeling in the world because it's not of this world. But doesn't fail to produce effects in this world. Because the world is literally consciousness pushed out. Expressed into condition and circumstance.

Hear the whisper of consciousness, speaking to you of an upcoming revelation that will completely dissolve your consciousness of the external world. Removing all second cause consciousness, removing all sense of lack and insecurity. And because it has taken away all belief or consciousness of a secondary cause, it as a natural byproduct removes all suffering and condemnation from your spirit.

You feel lighter than air. You feel total confidence. You feel an immaculate and sublime feeling of total awareness that you are safe in this world and in the next. That you are to see the sudden and swift manifestation of all of your desires and even of your SLIGHTEST preferences.

For nothing that you've ever preferred has gone unanswered. Nothing you've asked for hasn't been given. It was all held for you and ready for you. Waiting for the day that you would hear and amplify the whisper of a coming First Cause Revelation.

Prepare to have your heart transformed. And prepare for the impossible to happen, as a result of your transformed heart.

All that is held back is held back because of second cause consciousness. But second cause conscious is no match for the revelation of First Cause, the revelation that you are God.

The Butterfly Law Of Attraction Analogy

When a caterpillar enters into a Chrysalis, many don't know that the caterpillar completely dissolves into a gooey liquid. None of the previous form is left or used. And then out of the goo begins to emerge the new form, the Butterfly. And the Butterfly 🦋 is capable of doing things that the caterpillar cannot. The Butterfly has wings and can travel great spans and distances that the caterpillar couldn't even imagine.

Likewise, in your learning of the Law of Attraction, there is a radical psychological transformation that one undergoes. A spiritual metamorphosis.

In order for one to evolve into the metaphorical "Butterfly" which can manifest all of their hearts desires and be capable of tremendous things, they must completely dissolve the previous concept of themselves.

Their old self-image must in effect be dissolved into a formless substance, similar to the goo that the caterpillar melts into.

None of your previous state of consciousness, your previous "form", can enter into the state of consciousness which would manifest your desire.

You must completely renounce your old identidy and identification in which you've seen and understood yourself to be an external being with an individualized personality.

You're "John Smith", "Sarah Jane", "Marlon Chavez" identidy must dissolve in order for you to evolve into the state which would effortlessly manifest your desires.

From your "caterpillar" (external / second cause) identidy, you can do nothing. For you are in the race belief of thinking you are a second cause, subject to the external world and somehow divorced and separate from the divine.

From your "Butterfly" (First Cause) identification, all things are possible to you because all things have already effortlessly been done for you, without any requirements of works or merits.

The caterpillar you, still believes in deservability and feels itself to be in need of external things or people to become whole and complete.

The Butterfly you, which is your true self, is whole and complete in and of itself, and is a law unto itself. None can stay it's hand or say unto it "what doest thou?"

The caterpillar you sees itself as subject to conditions.

The Butterfly you sees itself as author of conditions and full in possession of its desires, right now.

Enter fully into this Butterfly identification, for in doing so all of your desires effortlessly manifest into the external.

And in receiving greater revelation of the Law of Attraction, you will find yourself being effortlessly released from your old self concept which imprisoned you in your previous conditions and had you "crawling around" on your hands and knees in this world.

First Cause Consciousness has "wings" that second cause consciousness does not. And in order to experience the fullness of these wings, you must completely die to the previous indentification.

Let go of yourself as a caterpillar completely surrenders to the process of the chrysalis which melts it down and transforms it. For your chrysalis is a greater revelation of First Cause Consciousness, which leaves you changed, such that you will NEVER be the same.
