you should kill yourself if you spend 12 minutes sorting around your notes on your desk, making sure they look messy but also the prettiest ones are on top, posing your textbook open and having the most "academia" looking web page or lecture slides on your laptop screen before taking a picture and posting it on your social media story while quietly scrolling through songs to put with it.

i love and respect your art so much! what inspired your style?

Thank you! ehhh....I am not sure...my art inspires whatever comic that I just read/an artist I discover/something I see on the street or in the forest (thanks to it my style is a little bit random x-x) Like: last month I read Tales of North with Kay Nielson illustrations:

And then I was overtaken by nostalgia of my childhood favorite Josef Lada:

And I think it merged somewhere into my work :D (here are some others of my favorite illustrators/comic artists)

Hi! I've just found your blog and i really love your work! - i was wondering if/how much you are influenced by czech illustration/animation tradition such as Josef Lada and Zdeněk Miler? I am australian but love them lots and would be so keen to hear your thoughts! <3

Hello and thank you! 💖

Glad to hear from someone so far away who knows them! And yes old Czechoslovakian animation and illustration is my biggest inspiration! And I believe almost everyone in here grows up with some of Lada's and Miler's work around them, you can't quite avoid that :^) My personal favorites are perhaps Jiří Trnka and Cyril Bouda...but it's very hard to choose. If you'd be interested in some tips for animations or illustrations let me know, I'm glad to share!
