Jordanna Spence could’ve been a great batgirl even though batgirl 2009 tried everything they could to try and make me hate her (it couldn’t)
She’s able to answer a question about criminals putting themselves in danger in order to have freedom, on the spot, correctly, while texting (Stephanie quite literally copies her answer, just without the reasoning)
to do this she would’ve needed to already have the context that devils square was a demilitarised zone and understood the perspective of the criminals discussed, which would both be very important for a Gotham vigilante, she’s knowledgable about Gotham, smart and can multitask
When she realizes the punch has been spiked, “toofast…toomuch” while actively battling consciousness she makes a scene, alerting everyone of what’s happening and destroys the punch bowl before anyone else gets drugged, saving the other students
She’s able to identity when things aren’t as they seem, connect them to shady business’s dealings that could put people in danger and encourages her friends to get out while they still can
she’s also able to sneak up on a member of the batfamily, which is impressive itself
she shows no fear in two vigilantes doing their best to be intimidating breaking and entering her accommodation, she has guts
she manages to get valuable information up on her computer which oracle would’ve had to explain verbally otherwise
Despite the fact her friend is a dick to her she’s still overjoyed when he’s safe and gives him space when needed, she’s very caring, she just doesn’t smile much
She actually knows her and her friends worth, she calls Steph out multiple times for not pulling her weight when they’re working together, she wants to pass this class and she’s not going to let someone who doesn’t care stop her and her friends from doing that
Was this to help herself and other pass classes? Yeah absolutely, but given she’s the only one with a megaphone it’s safe to assume that she had organised this entire protest, she has rallied all of these people together and they have followed
The protest itself has put a light on the death of a student and his possible killer (keep in mind, batgirl threatened to have her stabbed so her being his killer is actually plausible) and even though her intentions aren’t pure highlighting the grief and safety of her fellow students is something that needed to be taken seriously and it is now, thanks to her
TDLR: she’s smart, compassionate, brave and can lead, she’s the batgirl devils square deserves

Trying to figure out why the fandom meme that Tim is misogynistic bothers me so much, beyond my usual kneejerk response to perceived inaccuracy, and I think the key is that it feels like fandom is lying to me.
Specifically, lying about nearly all the other characters.
That I am being taunted with some theoretical Less Sexist 90′s Comics that don’t actually exist.
Sexism is one of the reasons that I never bothered to seek out superhero comics when younger. Our town didn’t have a comics shop, which sure put a damper on it, but I didn’t bother looking for collected volumes when venturing into regular bookstores, or the occasional trip out of town to places with huge bookstores. I flipped through enough and heard enough chatter to know I didn’t want to put up with the sexism. Scans Daily on Livejournal sure had plenty of supporting examples.
Reading 1990′s & early 2000′s comics now, I can confirm this was the right choice on younger me’s part. There is a lot of sexism in that era, and unlike with prose books by a singular author, it’s much harder to ditch wholesale. I’ve got a lot more analytical reading under my belt now, so it’s easier to roll my eyes at the bullshit and focus on what is enjoyable than it used to be. From the later 2010′s comics I found at the library, things are improving, though still stumbling.
So yeah, Tim does sometimes say sexist crap. But as I devour comic after comic, so far, he isn’t saying or doing anything more sexist, more frequently, than any other character, including the gals. It’s almost like it’s a writing problem, not a character problem.
As far as I can tell, from what I’ve read, which includes all of Batgirl 2000, Young Justice 1998, and nearly half of Robin 1993, Tim is less sexist than the adult men he’s surrounded by, and no few of his fellow teenage boy heroes.
Maybe I’m missing something! But gender doesn’t seem to come into his treatment of Gotham vigilantes and YJ teammates? The most it comes up with his civilian peers is that, typical for the time period, girls are treated by the narrative & characters as potential romantic options and boys aren’t? Tim talks to Callie the same way he talks to Ives & Hudman? He and Ariana both make relationship mistakes, but in ways that are pretty normal for a 13-14 year old’s first romance?
So when the fandom keeps making ‘misogyny’ Tim’s distinguishing traits from the other Bats, or other YJ members or Titans, it implies that reading comics focused on other characters would have less sexism, but when I do read other comics, that’s not fucking TRUE.
Where are these magical less sexist Bat comics?
Who are these heroes fandom claims are less misogynistic?
Because it’s not Nightwing. It’s not anything Bruce takes center stage in. Barbara is fine in Batgirl 2000, but in other comics she’s written as cattily jealous and tears into other women. It’s not Stephanie, as we saw with Batgirl 2009′s treatment of Jordanna Spence.
Batgirl 2000 does pretty good, but that’s the only one I can think of, and fandom singling out Tim makes it sound like it should be all of the others.
Fandom likes to say Jason drinks his Respect Women Juice, but when I read Under the Red Hood and Lost Days, they felt about the same level as Tim’s comics. And I keep seeing examples from Jason’s Robin days of him admiring women or learning from them or teaming up, but I also get that from Tim’s comics.
Before he even had a long running solo, Tim’s Robin mini’s got a crossover with Huntress, in which he respects both her skills and her secrets, and argues with her about as much as he does with Bruce. Tim supports Cassie winning leadership of Young Justice, he supports Cissie’s decision to do what she felt was most responsible. He apologizes for avoiding Cass after finding her intimidating and goes on to work well with her.
I like Tim. I’m mostly enjoying his comics. They’ve got less sexism than I expected of the era they’re written in.
And I hate that fandom’s running meme about him makes it feel like everyone else is making a joke at my expense.
#Robin 1993#Tim Drake#fandom critical#comics meta#or I guess fandom meta?#DC#Batfam#maybe no one in fandom actually means it and it IS 'just a joke'#but gawd if it is it's a shitty one#and I am pretty sure it ISN'T a joke from a lot of people#that they actually do mean it#it does NOT help that Tim is now one of the openly queer characters in DC#and 'jokingly' accusing gay men of hating women is a long standing piece of bigoted bullshit#and bi men were always lumped in with that when their existence was acknowledged#do I remember how horrible it felt as a closeted teen#when one of my friends found out Neil Patrick Harris is gay#and declared that him being gay and thus 'unavailable'#was 'a crime against women'?#yeah you fucking bet I do

Batgirl (vol. 3) #15: The Lesson: Grass Before the Scythe
Read Date: July 04, 2023 Cover Date: January 2011 ● Writer: Bryan Q. Miller ● Penciler: Lee Garbett ◦ Pere Pérez ● Inker: Jonathan Glapion ◦ Rodney Ramos ◦ Pere Pérez ● Colorist: Guy Major ● Letterer: Travis Lanham ● Editor: Sean Ryan ●
**HERE BE SPOILERS: Skip ahead to the fan art/podcast to avoid spoilers
Reactions As I Read: ● ah, an initiation? ● aww, Newton ● Stephanie definitely shows a bright and sunny side of Gotham that is a breath of fresh air ● I like this panel!
● next time Oracle and Proxy tell her to turn around now, she’d better do it ● 👏👏👏
Synopsis: Stephanie Brown draws a comic explaining the history of the Batman Family for Wendy Harris before attending a study group with Francisco Gracia and Jordanna Spence. She discovers she brought the backpack with Batgirl costume rather than the bonus packet, and Jordanna reams her out. Stephanie sees Newton Flitwik running past and changes into her costume to follow him.
Newton is surrounded by a group of people in cloaks, two of whom Batgirl identifies as an English major and a History major from their references. Batgirl tells him to run while she fights his attackers, and she is assisted by the “Grey Ghost,” whom Oracle quickly identifies as Clancy Johnson, released on “reasons of mental instability.” Batgirl tells him she doesn’t need a sidekick, to which he responds, “You will.” He disappears in a flash of light. The “reapers” take advantage and also vanish. They track Newton down again to demand “what we asked for,” which is held on his flash drive, but Newton refuses.
Detective Gage is called to Gotham University the next morning to investigate the apparent suicide of Newton Flitwik. He suspects foul play because something was stolen from him, and Barbara Gordon tells him people in robes were seen chasing Newton. This disturbs Gage, and he walks away. Another officer brings Gage a piece of evidence that Gage insists wasn’t there a second ago—a bloody batarang.
Crystal Brown is worried about her daughter since the newspapers have reported Newton’s “suicide” was the result of college stress, and she wonders whether they should move away from Gotham. Steph reassures her. Later, Batgirl and Oracle have failed to find any information on the “reapers,” and when she sees the Bat-Signal go up, Batgirl decides to look into it. Oracle and Proxy see a news report but are too late to warn Batgirl, and when she lands on the roof of the GCPD Headquarters, she is surrounded by police officers and is told she is under arrest for the murder of Newton Flitwik.

"you're talking to the queen of listening to podcasts all the time, everywhere, but okay. whatever you say. whatever helps you sleep at night. just because i don't listen to batman unburied doesn't mean i've never listened to a podcast before."
udyati rolls her eyes but a smile blooms on her lips anyway as she sits down next to jaime. "anywhoozies, i don't see you caught up on the only murders in the building."
professor vilmer enters the room and udyati nudges jaime. "hey, we're going to work together on this assignment, right? 'cause i'll throw myself in the nearest trash compactor if i have to work with jordanna spence. again."

Happy Birthday To Me? (A drabble)
[A scene setting foreword: no new 52s/ rebirth. Never happened. Ive taken liberties with some dates. Also briefly references some other drabbles I've written that arent here. Not super important. Ok? Ok, cool.]
August 11th.
She had been purposely laying low, trying to avoid everyone she knew, her phone, it's perma-silenced state a blessing as the few observant people sent messages she could pretend to ignore.
You see, August 11th was the day she was brought, she assumes, kicking and screaming into the world.
Her mother never actually spoke about her birth. Steph assumed it must have been reasonable enough, no complications. Or maybe Crystal was too off her face to remember it. It was hard to say, really.
There was a reason Steph didn't talk to her mother about anything.
No. Her plans for this most glorious of days, was to hide out.
Not be expected to be excited about a day she didn't care about.
The point of celebrating birthdays were to celebrate another year of not dying anyway, right? A bit late for that one, for her. She had done that. So it seemed… pointless. Hollow. Almost mocking.
Every time her phone buzzed, she would pick it up to look, to make sure it wasn't a call out, but promptly set it back down upon seeing it wasn't.
Laying on her stomach, sprawled across her bed, study materials scattered around her, chewing the end of a pen, absently bobbing her foot to the music playing from her phone it was around 10:30pm when the angsty vocals of Haley Williams cut out, and the phone continued to vibrate across the text book it sat on.
Frowning slightly, picking it up, she frowned further, seeing who was calling her.
Jordanna
Answering the call, Steph spoke wearily.
"Jordanna?"
It was definitely Jordanna on the other end of the line, and she seemed to be intoxicated.
"Oh good, I knew you wouldn't have anything better to do. Listen, I really need your help."
There was a pause, in which Steph was considering hanging up on her, but sighed slowly.
"What's wrong…?"
She says slowly, shifting, swinging her legs off the bed.
"Listen, I came out on a date with a guy I met. And after I told him I wasn't going to go home with him he's totally ditched me here and-"
Stephanie was already pulling on her shoes and jacket.
"Where are you?"
"Uh. Some place Downtown… I wasn't really paying a lot of attention. He was really charming, and good looking, and we were talking a lot…"
"Don't worry about it, Jor. Go wait in the ladies room, and I’ll come find you."
"How are you-"
"Don't worry about how. I’ll be there soon. Keep your phone on you, ok? I've gotta get off the phone now. I’ll be there."
"...ok… thank you…"
"...don't worry about it."
Ending the call, she started another one.
"Hey Babs? Can you do something for me real quick?"
"Hello to you too, Stephanie… I suppose, what is it?"
"I said Hey! Can you find someone based on their cell phone number?"
"Technically? Who are you trying to stalk?"
"Woman, one of my classmates just called me asking for help. Her date got her drunk and ditched her. She doesn't know where she is. Can you help or not."
After a brief moment of silence, in which Steph was already on her way out the door, Babs speaks again.
"What was the number?"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Storming into the ladies room, Stephanie stands in the door way for a moment, looking around.
"Jordanna?"
The back stall unlocks slowly, a head of dark hair pokes out, looking at her, before the rest of Jordanna Spence rushes in Steph's direction, to throw a relieved hug around her shoulders. Awkwardly patting her back, Stephanie clears her throat slightly.
"I was worried you wouldn't come because I'm always such a jerk to you…"
Jordanna mutters, almost tearily. Steph can't help but laugh.
"Oh, sweetie. Don't even worry about it. If someone needs help, I help. C'mon. Let's get you some coffee…"
Offering her arm to her classmate, which Jordanna took, and lead her outside, and down the block.
"I know how you found me…"
Jordanna says softly, as they walk. Steph says nothing, just raising a brow at her. Jordanna leant in to excitedly whisper.
"I googled you, while I was waiting, just to do something. Stuff came up that didn't while I was searching for that mystery boyfriend of yours. You were a vigilante! A purple one, named Spoiler, to stop your dad, Cluemaster. And the you were Robin! Actually Robin! With Batman! That explains so much! But it also said you died. Had an obituary and everything. Look!"
Jordanna pulled out her phone and started showing a screenshot of it.
August 11 1999 - April 19 2014
Steph looked away. She had managed to avoid reading it this long, she wasn't gonna do it now.
"Don't believe everything you read on the internet, Jor. Obviously I'm not dead. I'm flesh and blood. You're holding my arm."
"But the other stuff. It all makes so much sense now, it's why you're so weird. Wait… the new Batgirl is blonde and wears purple too…"
Putting on her best exasperatedly exhausted face, which wasn't hard at this point, she looked at Jordanna.
"Girl, if I were Batgirl, wouldn't I have been out beating up bad guys and not picking up your call?"
She froze, frowning, thinking hard.
"C'mon. You're drunk, and frazzled. Let's get you that coffee, and get you home safe. I'm sure I'll be back to freak status by morning."
Taking off her jacket and giving it to Jordanna, before leading her into the diner, guiding her into a booth and paying for coffee, she sat back.
"Hey, Stephanie?"
Raising her brows over her mug in acknowledgement while sipping, Jordanna continued, holding her mug in both hands.
"Assuming that obituary was true, it's your birthday… what were you even doing that you could just run out of to come get me?"
Pausing, trying to work out how, if, she wanted to answer the question, she frowned slightly, lowering her mug.
"I was studying."
"...on your birthday."
"I don't celebrate my birthday. Just reminds me of childhood."
"....oh. I'm sorry. I know I've teased you about your dad before but… must be rough."
Half smiling, Steph shrugged a shoulder and turned her head to look out the window, lightly tapping a chipped pink manicured nail on the coffee mug.
"I honestly don't know if I'd change anything. The journey gets you to where you are, y'know?"
Jordanna snorted a laugh.
"Girl, that was corny. I was almost willing to believe you were cool enough to be a hero. Not after that."
"I told you! I'm not!"
"Yeah, well, whatever. Happy birthday anyway, you dweeb."

Yuletide Letter 2014
AO3 name: thankyouturtle
Requests in Batgirl, Chalet School, Comics Industry RPF and The IT Crowd.
Dear Yuletide writer,
Firstly, I am SUPER EXCITED about whatever it is you’re going to write. It’s really important to me that you enjoy writing your assignment, so I’ve tried to include a mix of prompts/ideas in this letter in the hopes that there’ll be something that will spark your interest.
I don’t have much of an online fandom presence these days, but if you want to do a bit of seasonal Yuletide stalking, my Tumblr includes a list of my top ten favourite fic and last year’s Yuletide letter; my old livejournal has my previous yuletide stuff, and if you’re really stuck you can also check out my own fic on ao3, since not unusually I tend to write what I like! (Which isn’t to say I want you to write the same way or things that I do!)
Here is some general info about my preferences:
I seem to have mostly requested gen this year, but I really love shippy fic too and there should be at least some hints of my shippy preferences for each of my prompts. I like friendship but I also like feelings and kissing!
I’m not really into porn (except for the Batgirl exception listed below!) although mentions of (consensual) sex are fine and I like really heavy sexual and/or romantic tension. Definitely no a/b/o or incest, please.
I don’t want angsty, dark, or death-fic. Which isn’t to say that I don’t want fic with a serious tone, but my tastes run more towards fic with a hopeful/uplifting/fun feel.
Crossovers and AUs are strictly on a case by case basis, so I’ve included info about them in individual prompts.
If you want to write December holiday-themed fic I am happy with that (more than happy really; I freakin' love Christmas in particular but I'm in a generally festive mood so whatever fits the canon or characters.). And December is summer where I’m from, so if you want to feature a summer festival or holiday, that is totally seasonal for me!
Batgirl
Character(s): Jordanna Spence
I know that Jordanna is only a minor character, but she’s the kind of “thorn in the side” character I love – a jerk to Steph for no reason, an obvious affection for Francisco who she really does care about, and resourceful in her own terrible way, like when she uses a fellow student’s death to get out of writing an assignment. I’d love anything from Jordanna’s point of view - a “day in the life” with her unknowingly and/or unwittingly crossing paths with other characters from Batgirl (Wendy! Nell! Nick! Damian! Maybe she runs into Cass during the Batman Inc. arc where Batgirl is out of the city and Black Bat is in it!), or Jordanna getting herself into trouble in a student-y way (plagiarism? drugs?) and Batgirl (or Steph) having to come to her rescue. Maybe she boasts that her and Batgirl are BFF while Steph silently fumes? Basically, anything that strikes your fancy!
What I don’t really want from this is something that absolves Jordanna of her jerkiness towards Steph; I like that she’s so spiky towards her, whether it’s because she just finds her annoying, or she doesn’t like the encroachment on her friendship/possible crush with Francisco. If you want to go with “Jordanna is a dick to Steph because she doesn’t know how to deal with her attraction to her” I would be super down with that too. (This is definitely an exception to my “not really into porn” thing – I would be so down with some Jordanna/Steph hate!sex/frenemies with benefits!sex, although not PWP by preference.) Alternately, if you want to write with the two of the becoming proper friends over time, that would be great too!
But honestly, basically, anything Jordanna-centric, whether it’s her enjoying (slash-complaining-about) student life, getting accidentally and totally sourly caught up with vigilantes (it would be hilarious if she start dating Kon, say, or maybe even a villain? especially if she never discovered their alter-ego – and given that she had no clue that Steph and Batgirl were one despite the fact that they exhibit all the same characteristics and manner of speech...)
As far as crossovers go, they're fine if you stick within the DC-verse (pre-nu52, for preference). I’d also rather this fic wasn’t an AU since I suppose what I’m really interested in is Jordanna’s (small) place within the DC-verse, and Gotham specifically.
Chalet School Series
Character(s): Peggy Bettany, Bride Bettany, Sybil Russell
These three girls grow up together in the Russell household, but we never really get to see them all interacting. I’d love a story about them set around the time of Peggy’s Head Girlship, when Peggy is dealing with her new responsibilities, Bride is acting as a buffer between Peggy and Maeve, and Sybil has been left behind while her family is in Canada – putting her in the same situation that Peggy and Bride were in while their parents were in India. I’d love something showing the kind of dynamic you might get between the three at that age, when they’ve mostly outgrown their youthful annoyances (as when Sybil once taunted Peggy and Rix for being only cousins, and not really belonging) but aren’t really fully mature yet.
Other ideas – fic which focuses on them and their friendship groups as Middles/Junior Middles (although poor Sybil never seems to get a special friend or group of friends of her own!) especially around the time of Lavender, when I think Bride and Peggy both shine; or fic set after school. All three are married by the end of the series, but I’ll admit that it’s Peggy’s marriage that interests me most in that it’s the most conventional; she goes home, becomes her mother’s companion, and marries the boy next door. I wouldn’t mind getting an interesting take on that domestic romance.
I love all three of these characters. Peggy isn’t a charismatic leader, but she’s conscientious and responsible. She wasn’t made to deal with girls like Eilunedd, but she does have the respect and trust of her peers. You can see how growing up knowing that she was “only a cousin”, and then with a mother who is an invalid part of the time, has made her who she is.
Bride on the other hand is a natural leader, and given the girls that she’s friendly with, the fact that she manages to emerge as their leader says a lot about the strength of her personality. I think she’s more in the mould of the ideal CS Head Girl than Peggy, in that she’s almost always in control, is a bit more tomboyish (although not as much as Tom, of course!) and has a deeper level of understanding than Peggy, too – hence her ability to see trouble coming with Maeve, which Peggy apparently can’t.
Then there’s Sybil, who starts out life very sure of herself and her place in the world but who seems to retreat inside herself a lot more after Josette’s accident. By the time she’s in Sixth Form she seems to have found her centre – she’s still quiet, but she’s confident in herself. But because of the break in Canada, and the focus on other girls once she returns, we don’t get to see the change – maybe her cousins help play a part in it? Incidentally, I’ve always liked Sybil’s relationship with Jo, who may find her a complete nuisance around the time of Highland Twins, but is so protective of her in the pre-war years, and incredibly sweet to her after the accident and when the rest of the Russells go to Canada.
I love canon-divergent AUs for the CS, so long as they stick to that CS flavour – sometimes serious, sometimes light-hearted, sometimes emotional, never very dark. I’d rather no crossovers for this fandom.
I mostly stick with canon pairings, but I do love reading CS students ladyslash when it’s available (I have like zero interest in Kathie/Nancy or Hilda/Nell unfortunately!) because girls in boarding school with crushes on each other is great.
Comics Industry RPF
Character(s): Matt Fraction, Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie, Kelly Sue DeConnick
I love the way these dorks interact on Twitter and Tumblr – which mostly seems to be Matt and Kieron trolling Jamie and each other and everyone *_________*ing at Kelly Sue, who is busy making duckfaces. They seem to spend more time making fun of each other than they do working. I really just want something that replicates that dynamic, whether the fic revolves around work (the day-to-day slog, or an event like a con), their personal lives (as much as they share with the public, anyway) or something more ridiculous (their characters coming alive? them becoming their characters? Something even more ludicrous?)
RPF occupies a weird space for me; I like it best when the people involved are written in the way that they present themselves to the public, rather than how they might be in private. Basically, if there’s part of their (real) personal life that they don’t like to share with the public, I don’t want to read something that crosses that line. And I’m definitely looking for fun here rather than seriousness.
Anyway, like I said in my request mostly what I’m after is something that catches the troll-y dynamic between these guys – that kind of teasing that comes from having worked with or just known someone for so long. Strictly gen is fine but obviously the DeFractions are amazing and if you include them being couple-y that would be amazing. (Any other relevant creators you want to throw in are fine, too!)
If you want to write it in the style of tumblr/twitter posts, that would be totally OK with me!
Crossovers: Like I said, them getting involved in their work in a very literal sense would be the kind of ridiculousness I’m after. I'm more familiar with their work for Marvel, but honestly just go wild.
NB: Given that these are some web-savvy people, if you write this fic you may like to think about archive-locking it, to prevent them stumbling across it (or other non-fandom people stumbling across it and sending it to them!). My own belief is that RPF should be kept well away from the actual real life people who feature in it :)
IT Crowd
Character(s): Any
What I’d really love, if it’s up your alley, is a “Christmas Carol” style story with Jen, Roy, or Douglas in the Scrooge role. (Moss strikes me as the least-Scrooge like, but if you can make it work for him then BY ALL MEANS do!) Only, of course, this being the IT Crowd I can’t imagine any of them actually learning an important lesson at the end of it. Or they'd learn entirely the wrong lesson.
Otherwise, I’d love a fic that manages to carry on the creative mix of realism and silliness of the TV show – the everyday boredom of working in a tedious, unappreciated job with the increasingly ridiculous situations the characters find themselves in (not always even of their own making). I especially love the trope of everyone being too absorbed in their own personal problems to notice that something really, apocalyptic-big is happening – make of that what you will!
Other ridiculous ideas I'd love: Zombies? Vampires? Pirate attack? An explosion of kittens? Alien abduction? A day where nothing at all odd happens, throwing the team into a mad panic?
I’ve seen the final episode, and while I think I’d prefer the IT Department as the IT Department, if you want to see what you can make of Moss, Jen and Roy in charge, or Richmond’s confusion over their disappearance, or anything else that pops into your head from the final scene – go with it :D.
I’d love a crossover with new Doctor Who, especially if it was along the lines of Jen being the one to meet the Doctor and aliens and Roy especially not believing her afterwards. Or maybe the Doctor is investigating the cult of Spaceology and temporarily joins the IT Department. (“What is space? We just don’t know.” is actually my favourite line in the entire show.) (I imagine Nine butting heads with Roy, Jen attempting to flirt outrageously with Ten, Eleven being impressed with Moss's... mossness... and all Twelve intimidating everyone.)
Crossovers with other (preferably British) scifi shows would be fun too – Primeval, say, with Moss accidentally opening a rip in the space-time continuum with a new invention and letting dinosaurs in. Or, if you know Moone Boy, maybe Roy’s been earning a little on the side by working as a young boy’s imaginary friend and chaos reigns when Moss and Jen want in on the action.
If you want to write something on the shippy side, I would love some extremely awkward Jen/Roy/Moss. Or give me some Richmond/Denholm for the lols.

Forgive me my memory is a little fuzzy but did you do a character analysis post on jordanna Spence?? It might have been an analysis of Stephanie/batgirl 2009 in general that just included jordanna spence though, if you know what I’m talking about could you link that post because I cannot find it, if it even exists that is 😭 sorry for the trouble.. after seeing aliteralchickens comic book covers of Jordanna im obsessed with her and trying to seek out as much meta analysis as I can about her lol
I'm not sure if character analysis is the right word, though it does go over every one of her appearances, but yes, I did do a fairly long post on Jordanna's poor treatment over the course of Batgirl (2009) and why it's ragingly sexist.
You can find that here if you like: https://www.tumblr.com/soleminisanction/692607060332986368/justice-for-jordanna-spence
