The skit is so convincing that they’re asked to perform it for all the health classes at Hawkins High. They win a special award for it at the end-of-year honors ceremony. Jason tells them he’s proud of them both.

Ohh yeah, Your eyes are not deceiving you, Ash Ketchum has changed.... for the next Pokemon Anime vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/po… when Sun & Moon finally ends and the Clone's Storyline finally ends, This is the Real Ash Ketchum, And he has been altered to a Degree, And it's sort of a Mix between XY ash and the Sun and Moon version, And.... to be honest.... I do like this new look for him, In-Universe Its possible how Ash altered it this loo may have been the Result of all 55 of the Pretty Cure All Stars inner light changing him.... Also... with This new change of the Character and he's' still the same Age as he was in 1997, It's given me the opportunity to proceed with the Cure Master concept with Ideas from the Blueprints fav.me/ddcv5f6 But in the Blueprints as I would call the original Concept, the costume looked too familiar with his Kanto Costume which was the Idea with the Gold symbols of each of the Precure teams from the All Stars Pantheon, So I took some big libraries with the concept and came up with a Costume that's fits in line, His Cure Master Costume is a Set of Precure Armour that takes some inspiration from the Male PreCures from Hugtto PreCure, Even Jonathan Klondike AKA Joe Okada's suit of Armour, I did keep the Symbols of the Respected PreCure teams, They are Engraved in the Armour, In an edition, Ash now has a Sword called Blade of a True Pokemon Master and a Shield titled PreCure's loving Protection... if you look closely to it, You'll see the Angle figures on it are modelled in the forms of Nagisa Misumi AKA Cure Black and Honoka Yukishiro AKA Cure White, He's Research book is now complete with info linking the PreCures with there Respected Zodiacs, And he also has that Shard of the Miracle Star still giving off ever as you can see, Pikachu now possesses a Cloak of Levitation... Which Heartcatch PreCure use... Speedwagon is their owner guy. I imagine it is set during the Klondike gold rush era so that definitely has a reason for him to be drawn to the sledding scene. You get the idea . Jonathan was his late and heroic Newfoundland who died to rabies via a scuffle with Dio (scrappy dog who later gets a full turn around becomes the Stardust Crusaders’ rival) Joseph was one of Robert’s dogs being trained for the Klondike but he in his youth has a typical animal cross country adventure with the pompous city dog Caesar, you know kind of like homeward bound, pillar men are mountain lions, Joseph looses his front paw to kars, caesar dog is slain by wham, essentially the same exact plot with just the fact that they are heart wrenching animal stories. The Stardust Crusaders is the sled team name everyone is on, Joseph in his doggy seniority cannot mush in the days of his youth (which let’s be honest wasn’t that long of a career but he acts like he is the seasoned genius racer in front of the guys anyways) rides in the cab with Speedwagon, probably backseat driving and telling the gang what to do. Polnareff and Jotaro are the powerhouses in the back who do the heavy pulling while Kakyoin and Avdol are in the front plowing the path. Iggy is a stray dog from a checkpoint town that wandered into the Crusaders’ camp and bullies Polnareff out of his doggy dinner. I don’t know who would be the human leading Dio’s dog sled team but yeah the dogs don’t like Dio. Kind of funny I think about this a lot

They're weaponizing pity. They're sexualizing shame. They're fornicating it in the darkroom. And Jonathan is doing a really bad job eating a Klondike bar on purpose, right there in the Cunninghams' kitchen, while making direct eye contact with Laura, because back in 1975 Laura brutally publicly humiliated Chrissy for getting chocolate on her blouse on a family vacation, and it is making Laura so uncomfortable even though she doesn't remember, but she is too much of a Nice Lady to say anything (and, unlike Chrissy, Jonathan is obviously unfixable, God, it's like her daughter dragged that kid in Omelas out of the broom closet and gave it an ice cream novelty). And Chrissy gets to eat a fucking sandwich in peace for once.

Your choice of anyone from in the garden, gold rush AU

this is such a good and challenging one eve because of all of the characters in the series probably only lockett and alex could handle a gold rush setting without immediately panicking and giving up. 

i also want to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly recommend hernan diaz’s novel in the distance which i just finished and which begins with a harrowing california gold rush story. 

let’s just do the klondike for this one because these characters are northwesterners to their core. 

1. i’ve thought that in any kind of old west AU alex would be the kind of conniving executor of the plot in the background for her own amorphous purposes (like melisandre in game of thrones or childermass in jonathan strange and mr. norrell). i’ve wanted to write a western with a character like this for a long time... who we know as a kind of black market trader and jack of all trades who is plotting Ulterior Motives which become clear to us in glimmers and suggestions. in this story those motives are to kill as horribly as possible one of the main boomtown landowners who has wronged her in some never-discussed way. 

2. lockett works for said boomtown landowner in a roundabout way, sharing intelligence when it befits his purposes. after the town doctor dies in an “accident” lockett ends up in charge so he can be near the laudanum and morphine, and so that he can take care of assorted bodies that need taking care of. he and alex have a friendly working relationship and understand something about each other’s past and future plans without prying deeper. 

3. things are bad in town with the rough winter and the evil landowner controlling the prices of everything and bankrupting hapless prospectors to freeze to death in the woods. the plot starts moving in the spring when graeme shows up having nearly killed himself mixing chloral hydrate and alcohol like hank williams. he’s in way over his head but has inherited an untested gold claim which lockett and alex discover the deed to whilst preventing him from suffocating in mud in the street. 

4. queue the three of them tramping about the woods together finding out that the claim is quite rich. graeme is like “just give me enough of the cut to drink.” alex is like, you’ve got a deal. cue private conversation between lockett and alex, over a corpse in the makeshift morgue, where lockett tells her, maybe this isn’t such a good idea and we ought to give him the money to go home, and alex is thinking, okay, you’re totally useless now because you’re in love... 

5. the story has to end when lockett and graeme unwittingly distract the landowner and perhaps he threatens them and alex takes this opportunity to kill him and then rides away solo into the sunset

Feature: Professor Arn Keeling PhD our Planet Warrior

At my job as a security guard I have had a chance to meet some amazing people, Professor Arn Keeling is one of them. 

Who is Arn Keeling?

Arn Keeling is a historical geographer and author, co-author of “Mining Country”, contributing author to  “Ice Blink” and “Minding and Communities in Northern Canada”. He visited Wishart Library of Algoma University on Friday May 28th 2022, and shared his insights and knowledge on the history of Canada’s mines and miners , and was mesmerizing with his information.

 Countries and communities are built on mines and the products as well as the by products of these industries, Keeling has researched and has great insight of what happens to the communities, ecological repercussions, and human health issues from them. If you ever get a chance to sit in on a presentation by him, take it! If that isn’t possible then pick up one of his books!

About the Author: Arn Keeling  is a professor of geography at Memorial University of Newfoundland. His research examines the environmental legacies of abandoned mines, mine closure and remediation, and the social issues surrounding environmental contamination and its effects on northern Indigenous communities. He co-directed the Toxic Legacies Project with John Sandlos, conducting community-engaged research on the history and legacy of Giant Mine. He lives in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.
