Jon Iverson meets Prins Emanuel, Golden Ivy & Inre Kretsen Grupp - Iverson’s sketches from the 80s fleshed out by the other musicians listed; results are decidedly Fourth World, apart from one straight-up dub track

Jon Iverson meets Prins Emanuel, Golden Ivy & Inre Kretsen Grupp is an experiment bridging time and space. Recorded across decades and continents, the album merges ‘80s American home studio sensibilities with contemporary European kosmische. After receiving hours of unreleased material from Jon Iverson’s reel-to-reel archive, Séance Centre’s Brandon Hocura conceived of having contemporary musicians ‘finish’ the vibrant sketches and demos that had been languishing since the ‘80s. Immediately, a group of musicians working in and around Malmö sprang to mind as sympathetic and exciting collaborators for this material: Emanuel Sundin (Prins Emanuel), Ivar Lantz (Golden Ivy) and Martin Blomberg (Inre Kretsen Grupp). They were inspired by the proposal and spent several days in the studio, weaving rhythms, textures, and melodies around loops and samples made from the original recordings. The resulting album expands Iverson’s percussive and atmospheric vignettes into wide-open 21st Century group-think cosmic music, adding violin, flute, kalimba, lap steel, percussion, guitar, organ, synthesizers, bass, samples, and effects. A sonic landscape that evoke’s Terence Malick’s Montana Badlands as much as Ingmar Bergman’s windswept Fårö Island.

Original sketches were recorded by Jon Iverson, 1983-1989 in Los Osos, California. Additional contributions were recorded February 10-12th, 2021 at Studio Sickan, Malmö. DCEU- Another franchise that pushes its other characters to the side. For example, Hush (Thomas Elliot) is literally the epitome of Bruce Wayne gone bad!

Ross Lynch- There are so many roles that Ross did so well in Like Teen Beach Movie or Sabrina.

Highschool Musical Franchise (2006- present ) I’m not just talking about HSMTS (2019), I mean even further back than that. I don’t see any Troy Bolton x black!reader and that’s crazy. I also can’t find any Zac Efron x black!reader

Blake Shelton is back on top.

Todd Tilghman – who was the first person to audition on this season of "The Voice" – outlasted everyone and was crowned the Season 18 winner during the first-ever remote finale.

Tilghman was surrounded by his wife of 21-years and their eight children in Mississippi as host Carson Daly named him the winner. He said Shelton's support has "meant the world to me in all of this."

Streamers fell on Shelton, who tuned in safely from Oklahoma with his family. The country crooner got something sweeter than a trophy – a congratulatory kiss from girlfriend Gwen Stefani.

Despite technical difficulties with Shelton’s microphone, "The Voice" effortlessly combined 21 livestreams from around the nation into one seamless finale after the coronavirus pandemic forced the NBC singing competition to go remote over safety concerns. 

Tilghman's win makes Shelton, the last original coach on the NBC singing competition, the undisputed champ. Already the winningest coach in the show's history, Shelton now has seven wins under his cowboy belt. 

Tilghman, a Mississippi pastor, earned four chair-turns during the Blind Auditions with his emotional rendition of Bob Seger's "We've Got Tonight."

Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas and John Legend all appealed to Tilghman's roots with their church backgrounds, but he ultimately went with Shelton as his coach. 

"I love your voice. I love the passion. I love the range. … I love the hop," Shelton said before labeling his praise dance the "Holy Hop." "I think Todd is special and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the finals. He’s got a great voice and a lot of drive."

Turns out, Shelton knows what he's talking about.

When the votes were tallied, Toneisha Harris (Shelton) and Thunderstorm Artis (Nick Jonas) rounded out the Top 3; CammWess (John Legend) came in fourth place and Micah Iverson (Kelly Clarkson) in fifth place. 

The two-hour season finale was more like a concert, with virtual guest performances and post-competition duets with the Top 5 and their coaches.

Tilghman looked right at home alongside Shelton while performing John Mellencamp's "Authority Song," while Artis and Jonas dedicated a cover of Phil Collins' "You'll Be In My Heart" to all health-care workers battling COVID-19. 

CammWess and Legend tore the house down with a powerful rendition of Elton John's "Rocket Man." Clarkson and Iverson teamed up for Lady Antebellum's "I Run to You."

Harris and Shelton jammed out to "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac, symbolizing her journey on "The Voice" after returning nearly a decade after she was originally supposed to audition for Season 2. 

That was not the only performances of the night for the coaches. Jonas joined brothers Joe and Kevin for a virtual performance of the Jonas Brothers' new reggaeton-inspired single "X." He also debuted his song "Until We Meet Again."

Shelton performed his No. 1 single "Nobody But You" with Stefani for Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma; Legend sang "All of Me" for the nursing staff at Los Angeles' St. Francis Medical Center; and Clarkson performed her new multilingual single "I Dare You," which includes lyrics in six languages. 

Fan-favorite contestants from "The Voice," including reigning champ Jake Hoot, Kevin Farris, Lauren Duski, Jacob Maxwell, Alexa Cappelli, Mike Jerel, Ricky Duran and Brition Buchanan, spread hope with a joint performance of "What the World Needs Now Is Love."

Jon Bon Jovi looked cooler than a cucumber while sipping from a red solo cup before Bon Jovi performed "Limitless." Other guest performances included Lady Antebellum's "Champagne Night."

Although the finale is "unlike any we’ve ever done," Daly said, "the excitement is more."

Legend added: "We had some adversity this year, but we got to run this show in a brand new format and I don’t think Blake even wants to leave Oklahoma anymore if we can do it like this."

It was never written in the stars or anything, but James Iverson was the consigliere for John Sinclair. Not that John ever listened to James, but the two never dreamed their sons would go on to mirror their relationship. (Only Morgan trusts Wyatt, James never even respected Johnny) Eight years younger than Morgan, Wyatt watched him with wide, innocent eyes for most of his young life - always infatuated with every move he made. Morgan Sinclair was destined for great things and Wyatt saw it in his eyes, he was excited to be apart of the ride. Whatever that meant. Morgan inherited the crime family at eighteen, Wyatt was ten. He promised Morgan that he’d swear to serve him, stay loyal to his family, and be one one of the best friends he could have. Morgan patted his head and chuckled. It seemed like an innocent exchange, but they both meant it. Wyatt never had to join the family, never had to enter that life. He could’ve done anything else, but it wasn’t about what he could do - it was what he wanted to do. Six years later, at the young age of sixteen, Wyatt began to help escort weapons from the harbor and at eighteen, started selling them. He worked hard, paid attention to every detail. Wyatt learned every aspect he needed to, if he couldn’t be a Sinclair, he’d do his damned hardest to be the next best thing.

After his father died of a heart attack in jail when Wyatt was twenty, he suddenly felt incredibly lost and distanced himself from Morgan. He began to spend more time away from the family and traveled a lot. He also began drinking a lot. Morgan noticed. He had never officially chosen a consigliere and Wyatt never dreamed he was even considered for the position, but Morgan suddenly began to look for him. He’d be there to pick him up off the bar floor or cold sidewalk. Once Wyatt would get sober for the day, Morgan would began to pick his brain. Ask him questions, asked him his opinions. And just like that, Wyatt wasn’t sad anymore. He stopped drinking as much as he did and started to spend more time with Morgan. Then he had a desk in his office and suddenly, the employees were referring to him as his adviser, his right hand man, Morgan Sinclair’s consigliere. The two just get along so easily, they’ve never been known to fight, let alone even have an argument. Morgan values Wyatt’s opinion, and Wyatt values Morgan’s. They share a mutual respect and suddenly, everything seemed a lot easier. Even with the Costello drama. Then Penny suggested she needed a personal assistant.

Wyatt and Chloe met through their careers, Wyatt being Morgan Sinclair’s closest confidant and Chloe, being the one to see Penelope Sinclair in her most private moments. Wyatt had been Morgan’s consigliere for eighteen years. Chloe had just been hired, but already made such a powerful statement by just walking into the room. Beautiful, smart, witty. She had it all and Wyatt noticed immediately. He worked up the courage to ask her on a date a week later. Then weeks turned into months, months turned into years. His empty nightstand was suddenly cluttered with all her shit. Her cat wandered the rooms, her makeup covered the bathroom counters. Then another year had gone by, it was like he was on autopilot. He took her to the beach. He knelt down, he gave her a ring. They got married two months later. Then, all of the sudden the brakes came to a screeching halt. She went from being this free spirited, loud mouth, to crying, to yelling. He was too distant. He was too closed off. He didn’t know how to be a husband, she made a mistake. They were married for two years when Chloe filed for divorce, it was around Christmas time. (He still isn’t quite sure what he did wrong.

The upcoming wedding is something Wyatt and Morgan came to a conclusion too rather quickly, it just made sense. While Wyatt is worried about repercussions or what could wrong, having all of these people in one giant room, he’s hopeful that everything will turn out nicely, so they can continue to worry more about their business and less about unnecessary causalities.

Many Worlds Interpretation is a collection of cosmic Americana for electronics, guitar, and percussion culled from Jon Iverson’s extensive home-studio archive. 1984, Los Osos, California. In a small cinderblock cottage, hand-painted with bright psychedelic flora, Jon Iverson created vibrant new worlds. He spent long days and nights immersed in sound, perfecting home recording on his 8-track reel-to-reel, combining his love for kosmische and Berlin School electronics with an infatuation with ethnographic sounds and expansive guitar music. In a duo with fellow sonic traveler Thomas Walters, Iverson released missives from the studio on a self-titled LP released on country legend Guthrie Thomas’ Eagle Records. That release featured three electro-acoustic compositions (“Naningo”, “River Fen”, and “Fox Tales”) as well as a gathering of guitar duo tapestries. Many Worlds Interpretation re-imagines those interplanetary works alongside several unreleased compositions that also feature synthesizer, guitar, and percussion, creating a re-visioned album which leans into Iverson’s electronic studio wizardry.   All songs have been carefully transferred from analog tape to high resolution digital, retaining their vintage studio warmth, but mixed and mastered for modern ears and audio systems. The album is pressed at 45rpm, further enhancing the audiophile experience. RIYL: Innovative Communication, Eblen Macari, Priscilla Ermel, Popol Vuh, Steve Tibbetts --- Artist Statement I worked in a Harley Davidson parts warehouse in the summer of 1976 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The goal was to save enough money to buy transportation for college and a Teac 4 track 1/4" reel to reel tape machine. By September there was a rusting monkey-vomit green car in the driveway and shiny new Teac with a Sony condenser microphone in the bedroom. At this point I had been playing guitar for a dozen years and like most children of the sixties, dreamed of joining a band. Went to college instead to study business. But all was not lost. 1978-1979 was spent as Weird Al Yankovic's roommate and we recorded and created enough songs to play shows around San Luis Obispo, California, where we were attending college. Many of those recordings have yet to be heard by the public, including the first performances of My Bologna and many other parodies of pop songs of the day. We sent tapes to Dr. Demento, we auditioned for The Gong Show and were barred from playing at the local college after one memorable performance. Wild times. I, however, was more intent on working on "serious" music, with albums from Vangelis, Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre providing inspiration. DJing at the local college radio station and then public radio outlet provided exposure to an endless stream of obscure albums (Sky Records from Germany was a particular favourite). Most of them would never make it to the air, but my buddies and I would pass them around like exotic treasure. Fast forward a couple more years and I had picked up a Mini-Moog and eventually a Prophet V synthesizer as well as starting a collection of instruments from around the world. The Teac and synths formed the basis for a growing DIY studio that had taken over a modest-size garage (pictured on the cover) that had been converted into a two room cottage in Los Osos, California. The Teac was eventually joined by a rented Otari 1/2" 8-track and then finally a vintage MCI JH-100 2" 16-track. The compositions on this album were recorded on these three machines between 1982 and 1989. At some point an Apple II computer with Alpha Syntauri sound card and keyboard were added and then later the first personal computer sampling hardware/software kit, the Decillionix DX-1. The DX-1 forms the rhythm track for “Fox Tales” and the Alpha Syntauri was programmed to create the pulsing synth for “Naningo”. “River Fen” was tracked with both the Alpha Syntauri and the Prophet V. I knew this music wasn't commercial, but didn't care. It was inspiring working with the first computer-based synths and semi-pro gear. Home studios were still rare in the early 80s until the Tascam Portastudio blew the DIY door wide-open. But I was more interested in sound quality so stuck with reels of tape instead of lower fidelity cassettes. During the time these songs were recorded, I was also collaborating with my good friend and mandolinist, Tom Walters. “River Fen”, “Naningo” and “Fox Tales”, were solo recordings that also ended up on the first Iverson & Walters album, First Collection. Morgan Sinclair, the product of hatred and scum. Abandoned and neglected as a child, the infant born into a world of corrupt crime, would grow up to embrace his twisted legacy. His father was passed on the throne of the Sinclairs, by his father. And his father, and his father. The family’s decaying roots goes back centuries, but that doesn’t make them a trustworthy group. Johnny Sinclair was abusive, cold, and unnecessarily cruel. He’s also currently sitting on death row for four counts of first degree murder. (Those were the only ones they were able to prove) Morgan’s mother was a nameless face in a crowd, one of the many girls prowling the streets for a quick buck, Morgan’s sure he’s got to have hundreds of half siblings out there - he was just the lucky one. He was the one Johnny chose. In order to run the family, the ideal candidate had to be a certain way. Had to think quickly with their fists, not their heart. Intelligent, but impulsive. Angry, but contained. Vicious, but an untainted image. They wanted a monster, they wanted a soldier.

They got one. Johnny chose Morgan because he had his eyes.

The young man grew up constantly surrounded by drugs, guns, intoxicated women, and money. Lots of money. For most young men, that could be a temptation and a curse. But Morgan never fell under the demons of money or drugs. Instead, he fell under the spell of an eighteen year old curvy, red head. The French girl took him by surprise and even at twenty years old, he knew that was it. Penelope Moreau became his life. Morgan and Penelope were thrust into adulthood months later. With his father’s blessing, Morgan turned Penelope into a Sinclair. It was only a few months after the wedding when Johnny began to pressure his son into producing his own male heir, just in case. Unfortunately for Johnny, Morgan, and any other human being on the planet - Penelope Sinclair had every ounce of that power in her freshly manicured hands. The solution? Adoption. And Morgan is forever grateful for his wife’s stubbornness. The start of the Sinclair empire expanding started with a five year old Korean American orphan named Sebastian. Sebastian took the whole Sinclair family by surprise, but was quickly welcomed with open arms and began his grooming into the Sinclair royalty began. Sebastian is easily his father’s best friend and paved the way for his siblings. Through the years, Morgan and Penny would welcome four more red headed children into their family, three girls and a boy.

With children to care for and more things to risk, Morgan began to become paranoid. His father went away a year after Sebastian was adopted into the family and Penny had just found out she was pregnant with their first biological child. A daughter, who would go on to be named Priya. Nervous in his new overtaking of the Sinclair family as a brand new husband, father, and only nineteen years old, Morgan was truthfully scared shitless. Eventually, as the years went on - he became more comfortable stepping into his father’s shoes and even gained two closed confidants for his own reign that didn’t have to do with Johnny. While he wasn’t aware of every half sibling he might have floating around in Chicago, Morgan did know of one brother. Jackson Sinclair could’ve been in Morgan’s place, if he had been born first. Unfortunately, the seven year age difference caused them to begin down different paths. Jackson showed up on his doorstep one day with his story and Morgan didn’t think twice. Family is forever.

The Costello family has always been a rival to the Sinclair family and while nothing too catastrophic happened for years, it was an arms deal gone wrong that turned the normally levelheaded Morgan at a high point of paranoia. Paityn, Morgan and Penny’s youngest daughter was helping clean at the bar that late afternoon. Completely innocent, pulling trash bags into an alleyway - the explosion almost took her life and from that day on, Morgan wouldn’t risk his children anymore. When the idea of a treaty came up, he jumped on board immediately. Hearing his youngest daughter’s pleas to stay out of the union, Penelope and Morgan came to the decision to offer their second youngest daughter’s hand - Paisley. A lot like her mother and her paternal grandfather, Paisley is able to hold her own much easier than her younger sister. Morgan hopes now nothing else goes down without a problem. He just wants to keep his business, family, and friends thriving.
