my entire tagalog class got free tix to see easter sunday and when we discussed it in class i went on an entire rant about how uhh not good it was

when dante basco (aka prince zuko from avatar) starred in a filipino american themed family comedy, i went to go check out the trailer. not that i have high hopes for fil-am humor—or any asian american humor, for that matter—but i still wanted to give it a try. the second one of those guys uttered “we’re jungle asians!” i clicked the exit button so quickly.

I wish Jokoy didn't mention her anymore. Can you imagine her surprise and her fans surprise if she was not mentioned at all and then she didn't win? The woman can't act and thinks she can attend acting awards shows and be treated like she owns it??? The delusion of this joke of a woman. If I were the awards shows next time she's there, no mention of her and no wins. Just the views from her deranged fans. That's how it should be done: Completely ignore her. She'll be left with nothing but ignorant and idiot fans because her true fans are now seeing the real empty, pretentious woman that she is. Justice for gaylors too. Terrible how she really used them.

You know what's funny about the Jokoy unfunny jokes in the golden globes. You know how many swifties there fucking are in Nursing in the Philippines. A shit ton, how do I know its because I know too many Taylor Swift lyrics and I am not a swifty. It just plays in the background everywhere I go in school. You know how feral this country went for the Reds tour and have you seen Taylor Sheesh. He did his people a disservice.

Also so many people loved the Barbie movie it was in theaters here for months on end.

This is why representation matters.
