"Uncoollaughlaugh" was FINALLY released this week! 😁 and what better way to celebrate it than by visiting the lovely @talormade (as pictured)? 🙊 25 minutes of delicious ukulele music. Perfect to start your mornings, end your evenings, and anything in between 😊 And by 10 o'clock IN THE MORNING it had already 100 streams! 😱🤯 and then 200 by Thursday, and yesterday we hit 300 streams on the album already!!! CRAZY!!! * And speaking of Thursday: I got an "Fans also like" section on my Spotify page on Thursday evening!!!! 😁 it has been a goal of mine for a long time now, and I finally got one! 😁 so far the only band mentioned is the wonderful @skovveien, and I do not mind in the least being associated with them 😊 * I think those two huge news are it for this week. 🎉Sunday Update!🎉 GOOOOOOOOD SUNDAY! 😁 This week I wrote a song! 😁 It's called "Am I Enough", and is about the uncertainties and doubts one might experience at the start of a relationship 😊 I really like it myself, and I think it's a song a lot of people can relate to 🥰❤️ and if you're interested in hearing it, I've posted a video over at YouTube of me playing it 😊 As you may know I have recently started a project of trying to make my catalogue more organized, mainly through removing singles which has either already been available on other releases. And this week I've started contemplating whether I should do something about "Opus Pilates" as well 🙊 I think I'd like to repurpose the songs from the album, and put them together with songs that are more alike them 😊 When I first released "Opus Pilates" I wanted it to be a very varied album, and showcase how I could operate within different genres. So it was sort of inspired by what both The Beatles and Queen did time and time again where they'd make albums consisting of songs with wildly different genres and musical expressions 😎 Though I still enjoy albums which pull this off, I'm starting to feel like "Opus Pilates" is more of a hot mess in its current form than an album which manages to pull this off. It also feels like despite the album containing some of the strongest tracks in my catalogue, several of them are difficult to really appreciate where they currently are found. And I'd like to fix that! 😁 And that is it for this week's Sunday Update! 🎉Sunday Update!🎉 First of all: I'm sorry I haven't posted any updates the past two weeks!!! 🙈 There's been a lot of stuff happening in my personal life. But to be honest: there's not too much you've missed out on either 🙊😊 But now I have news for you! 😁 @AschenMusic has now sent off our song "Sunrise", and it is due to be released on the 22nd of March!!! 😁😁😁 It is SOOOO GOOD!!! 🎉Sunday Update!🎉 HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!! 😁❤️❤️❤️ This week I got more merch! 😁 and it seems like it wasn't just me who thought the baseball jacket was really cool! 😎 I've been wearing the merch even more, and gotta say: I'm REALLY happy about it! So I can really recommend the products I've tested thus far! 😁 Link is in the bio 😊 Which reminds me: I now have a Linktree! This means I can add more links to just one page, so if there's anything you're looking for, it should be possible to find it there 😊 @BeingAMonkey's song "AML 2" dropped on Friday! 😁 he sampled my song "All My Loving" on his song, and was kind enough to make me a featured artist (which means you'll be able to find it at the bottom of my Spotify artist page in my "Appears On" section) 😊 I hadn't heard the final version myself before it dropped, and it's just SOO GOOD!!!! So I've kept listening to it this weekend and putting it on repeat as that chorus is just too good not to! 😋 Yesterday I started organizing my artist page a bit more. Which really means I'll be deleting some of my singles, making it easier to get an overview of my catalogue 😊 I had 24 singles when I started, and have already removed two of them ("What To Do" and "Oh My Buddha!", both of which are still possible to find on "Uncoollaughlaugh") 😊 And last but certainly not least: I finished an album yesterday!!! 😁 It'll be "Nighttime - The Album" when it drops, and yes: same cover and same name as the single. 🎉Sunday Update!🎉 Hello everyone! I know it's been two weeks since the last update 🙊 I've tried keeping you a BIT updated through my Instagram Story though, and will try to incorporate it more on a regular basis 😊 Okay, so: In three days "The Star-Spangled Banner" is releasing!!! 😁 I'd like to say it was inspired by "Auld Lang Syne", but it was actually the other way around. I recorded "The Star-Spangled Banner" in this sort of form for the first time around 10 or 11 years ago. This is not the version I'll release now, but what I'd made all those years ago was the inspiration for how I wanted "Auld Lang Syne" to sound like, and then figured it'd make sense to release "the original" as well 😊
I MIGHT want to make more songs like this, as I like doing them, I like listening to them, and it seems like you may do so too! 😁 I've also been writing a lot of songs lately. Not really sure if anyone of them will even be recorded, but it's still nice to write some more songs 😊 There's also been this company called Sessions which have been in touch with me lately. They've seen my videos over at YouTube, and - as far as I can understand - wants me to do live shows through streaming and pay me for it. Which sounds nice, so I'm considering it 😊 Oh, and the lovely @noir_smith made me a bunch of pictures which he sent me this week! 😁 They're a mix between logo suggestions and album cover suggestions I reckon, and they're very good! 😁 I posted them earlier today, so if you haven't seen them yet and you're curious, I advice you to go check them out 😊 I think that might've been it for these two past weeks. 🎉Sunday Update!!🎉 * Ladies and gentlemen: it is time for another Sunday Update! 😁 * This week has mostly been about promoting music I've already released, and my, oh my how well that's paid off! 🙊 We've gone from having had approximately 35 listeners the last month merely a few weeks ago, to now being at 90 listeners this past month!!! 🤯
AND "Auld Lang Syne" is already at 175 streams!!! 😁 after just three weeks!!! 😱 THANK YOU SO MUCH EACH and EVERY ONE of you for having listened to it, shared it, added it to your playlists, and just for being such amazing people as you are!!! 😁🥰 I cannot tell you how many times this past week I've been watching the numbers and having a big smile on my face!! 😁😍 * But I also set up my studio this week and started work on another ambient project, which I've long been meaning to make. It's probably not ready for quite some time yet, but I have been meaning to dabble into the realms of dark ambient music as well. This year's #SpotifyWrapped was just insane!! I posted a lot of the details in my story on Instagram and Facebook (and I even saved them in a "Wrapped 2020" thingy on my Instagram if you want to check them out later on), but seriously: 9,6 THOUSAND streams this year??? 432 HOURS??? And 235 listeners??? 🎉Sunday Update!! 🎉 * This week @BeingAMonkey asked me if it was alright with me that he sampled my slowfi version of "All My Loving" in a song, and that I'd be a featured artist on the track. 🎉Sunday Update!! 🎉 * WHAT A WEEK! 😱 Okay, so: WE'VE FINALLY BEEN CREDITED FOR OUR SONGS BY @FESTSPILLENE!!!! 😁😁🥳 I've been trying to get this through since June, and I finally heard something back, and they were so nice when I finally got in touch with them 😊 And A HUGE thank you to @GramArt_Artist for helping me with what I should do about the matters!! 🥰 * I have also sent off TWO releases this week! 🥳
First for my take on the infamous "Auld Lang Syne" (which I'm SUPER excited about letting you all hear! 😁🙊) and then a lofi hip hop beat called "No.", which is due to be released on the 1st of January, 2021 😎 it features samples from the Apollo 11 and Discovery spaceflights, as well as some of @AndrewIsMusic's "Sparkles" sample pack. 🎉Sunday Update!! 🎉 * This Sunday we'll cover all updates for both the past two weeks, as I was so swamped last Sunday I didn't have time then 🙊 * First things first: "Moonlight" has been released!! 😁 And thank you SO MUCH for all the really nice feedback I've received on the track! 😁 it really warms my heart to hear that so many of you enjoyed the song 🥰 * I have also started work on some new material, but I have yet to have a finished product I'm happy with, so whether or not an instrumental lofi hip hop track called "No." will be my next release is yet to be decided 🤷‍♂️ * Lately I've also been rehearsing some Christmas songs, and if I find a version I'm happy with, I MIGHT release some Christmas material in time for Christmas this year 🎅

🎉Sunday Update!! 🎉 * On Tuesday this week "Outside It's Raining (Stripped Version)" was released!! 😁 This was how the track was originally recorded back in 2015, but I decided to add two more guitars on the 2018 release of the song on "Opus Pilates". I've recently toyed with the idea of putting it on the blues project I'm working on, but as I haven't made much progress on that project yet, I figured it would be nice to release it as a single and a teaser of what is yet to come 😊 * I also sent off my next release this week, so next Friday "Moonlight" is due to be released! 😁 this is quite possibly my most interesting piece of music ever, and I can't wait for everyone to hear it!!!! 🙊 * And yesterday (Saturday) I met up with @BjunOfficial to pitch some ideas to one another. I think we'll have a REALLY interesting (and amazing) product as a result of that 🙊😎 * Apart from that have I been accepted on @GramoNorge (and fixed most of my catalogue there), I've sent an e-mail to @GramArt_Artist to see what I should do about @Festspillene not crediting my music properly (and not responding to my e-mails about it), made a new song Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, AND gotten more into my OP-Z synth (which is VERY likely to result in a release eventually 🙊) 😁 *

🎉Sunday Update!! 🎉 * It's finally time for another Sunday Update! 😁 * Yesterday it was two years since "Opus Pilates" was released!! 😱 I can't believe it's been so long already! 🙊 and so I posted about it yesterday, gave it a listen myself, and I still really like it (though "What If All The Witch Trials Were Right" are still two very strange songs 😅). I hope you do too! 😁 *
This week I've also sent off a single! 😁 I haven't really been sure where to go from here lately, but I figured I'd really want to commemorate both the fact that "Opus Pilates" turned two AND that I'm trying to make this blues album by releasing "Outside It's Raining" in a stripped version, which was how it was originally intended. It'll be featured on the blues album or EP whenever I finish it, as well as "The Bird" 😊 * I've also started working in the studio. Both with this lofi project of some of my released songs, and with trying to record some of the songs I've written but never recorded. Among others a country song about a man and his autonomous car…which leaves him 🙊 * Other than that have I signed with @Tono_Norge now! Which I probably should've done two years ago, but didn't realize until now 🙈 they're an organization which are to handle the management of Norwegian composers, songwriters, and record labels, and make sure we're paid when our music's been used. 🎉Sunday Update!!🎉 * WE FINALLY GOT ANOTHER SONG TO OVER 1000 PLAYS!!! 😁 and how fitting it is that it became "Everything" with @bjunofficial! 🥰 Thank you guys so much for checking out the song, and making it pass 1000 plays! 🎉Sunday Update!!🎉 * This week we lost the "Fans also like" section. I didn't know it was possible to lose once gained, but apparently it is. So if you ever wondered: now you know 😁 I think we'll get it back soon though, so no stress! 😊 * It seems both The Bird and Baby popped up in people's Release Radar over at @Spotify on Friday, so that's great! 😁 I hope people liked the songs and that it wasn't all old news for everyone 😊 * Yesterday I finally figured out how to use Varispeed, and so I've toyed with the effect for several of my songs, some of which I've uploaded to my @SoundCloud profile (after adding some lofi vibes to them) 😊 I might make a release of it one day, and especially if someone besides me would like to hear more "slowed down + lofi + reverb" versions of my songs 😎 so let me know in the comment section if that's something you'd like too! 😁 I was originally looking for this effect to use it to recycle some of my songs for my upcoming lofi hiphop project, "Lonely Figures", and it'll DEFINITELY come in handy there too 🙊 * And I think that's it for this week! And so I'm excited to see what happens! 😁 I've also sent an e-mail to @730no, introducing myself and my music to them, and letting them know I hope they'll consider writing about me for their Ültralyd series (which is about artists who's just starting out, and them writing about them before they're well known) 😊 * I haven't been working too much with any new material this week, just trying to get a hold of what I have lying around of unpublished music, and revisited an old song which I think MIGHT be interesting to include in my upcoming lofi hiphop project 😎 The past three weeks or so have been very hectic, and so I've instead focused on trying to get well-rested once again this week. And I more or less feel like I am now, so I'll probably start working more in the studio this coming week 😊 * Oh, and by the way: the bassist of @Skovveien (@BjunOfficial) wore my merch on stage when they played Rockefeller last night! 😁 (and they really were amazing this time too! I HIGHLY recommend watching them live if ever you have the chance 😊) *
