People are always looking out for Ghost afraid to piss him off. But during that they neglect to realize that the true problem is Soap. He's got a smile that can light the room but he is the quickest to anger. And his anger and temper are hot and explosive just like his bombs.

Soap will be the first one to hold a knife to your throat because you said something that he didn't agree with. GHOST is the one to pull him off.

one thing that bothers me about people trying to insult Sam by talking about his similarity to John is that they aren't WRONG to say both Sam & John have deep drives and obsessive ambition. but these traits are not necessarily bad! Sam utilises this to get OUT of the abusive situation and go to school. Sam's incredibly dedicated and loyal. Sam's not someone who gives up. But the point of difference comes down to when Sam says "No, not before everything". John's issue is the harm he causes to his family within this obsession that ends up with Dean's death (to which John switches and goes to Hell for in the end). Sam's making this line and drawing it down. I can chase these goals but not if it risks the lives of those I love. I'm not going to shoot you even if you're screaming at me too. I'm not going to let my brother die. All traits can be bad or good but the ways John's traits here are bad are not ones that extend to Sam, necessarily.

If you ever feel you're overreacting, I want you to know that John Kreese, adult man running a karate dojo having a bunch of students idolize him, went on massive tantrum for losing a tournament. He then went on to choking out his favorite student, went on a bender ruining his business, torturing a teenager for winning said tournament, Disappeared. And only came back to still continue this tantrum while being in his 70's.

John winchester is NOT homophobic. Anyone who thinks so, I demand that you watch The Winchesters. Yeah Dean messed with the timeline in that show but only made him meet Mary early. He met Carlos right after meeting her and from the beginning he had NO PROBLEM with Carlos's sexuality.

Carlos talks openly about being attracted to men, including specific men, in front of John and he doesn't even blink.

I don't really relate to characters like that. I think that I put traits of myself into both of them by nature of being their writer, but I feel like I'm a very different person than the both of them.
