It was so strange - she walked into her home, the home that was actually her home on the outside, and then once she was inside, it was like she walked right into the wrong home. Madi was so confused, it was hard to wrap her head around what was happening - was she dreaming? was she under the influence she just forgot she started drinking again? was it something else?

She pinched herself a couple of times just in case, but it was all real.

What really made her realize whose some of the new belongings could be was the polaroid photos she found and then she was quickly off to the farm - she saw Willie working there a lot, they had to work together, but she’s been awkward with him since he walzed into her home and she just yelled at him.

She didn’t need a long time to find Willie on the farm, one of the polaroid pictures in her hand as she approached him. “Willie, sorry, can I-- I think this might be yours?” she handed the picture towards him.

Because I went down the Halopedia rabbit hole and I'm an obsessive nut, I've put together a list of all the Spartan-IIs, just to figure out who's alive, who's dead, who's missing, and the numbers which are unaccounted for

Additionally, Spartans-028 (Riz), 125 (Kai), and 134 (Vanak) do exist per 343's internal documentation, but as of yet have not appeared in the Prime timeline

therefore there are about 19 confirmed living Spartans, 24 confirmed dead, 7 possible dead, and 12 unknowns, for a total of 62 (or 65 counting the silvers), so there are at least 10-13 other Spartans we have not met, be they active, retired, washout, dead, or missing

The medium and the nameless ghouls

Ghost file 002-1 Dewdrop file the visitor

Sodo and Swiss gave their testimony to Sara and Detective Stevens only to find out that they were in danger by the bishop and the clergy of sin. Though they managed to clear Copia’s name, the real killer is still at large in the clergy. Can Dewdrop help find the killer in the clergy or will his sickness get the better of him?

After the Phil left the room Sodo and Swiss knew that they were in deep trouble. They lowered their heads and said “we’re fucked… We’re so fucked…”

Haley looks at Sara “Looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me.”

Sara started panic “I have to call the D.A. to see if I can stall for time. Can you turn off the recording?”

“Of course.” He turns to the laptop and clicks on the stop button on the screen. “Okay, now what?”

Sara looked over to the door and saw Sargent Davis with his nephew in the back. “We heard everything.” He scolded.

Sodo and Swiss began to growl and hiss revealing their fangs and claws. Sara got between them and turned her back on the Ghouls. “Sargent, what the hell are you doing?” She yelled. “This is my interrogation. You can't interfere.”

The Sargent takes Sara and throws her to the wall and knocks her out. Sodo and Swiss got pissed and transform into demons and made a loud roar. The windows in the room shattered and the cops fled. They pushed the Sargent out of the way and ran away.

Sara woke up in the hospital and saw William and his dad at bed side. “Mr. Parker…”

“Sara!” Yelled William. “You’re okay!”

“We heard that you were attacked at the precinct.” Mr. Parker held her hand. “Are you okay? What happened?”

“That bastard.” Sara felt pain in the back of her head. “Sargent Peter Davis, I hope you get what is coming to you.”

“What?”

Haley walks in with a husky man at her side. “District Attorney Greyson, you know that Sargent is incompetent to handle this matter.”

“I know, and I’m very disappointed in the matter myself.” He looks at Sara. “Ah, you're awake! Wonderful!” He grabs a seat and sits down at the foot of her bed.

Sara smiles “Hello Arthur…”

“I saw the video recording of the interrogation and I was quite surprised that they were able to cooperate with you, John and Haley. But they seem to have been able to get away from us and we weren’t able to find them.”

“You mean Sodo and Swiss?” Sara tried to get up from the bed but the pain began to appear.

“I want to know what happened inside the interrogation room. The Sargent said that “you were attacked by demons and he tried to save you.”

Sara looked at him dead in the face. “What? That’s not true! I was attacked and knocked out by Peter Davis before they got away.” Arthur widened his eyes. “He said ‘he heard everything’ and the ghouls were getting hostile towards him.”

Arthur leaned forward. “And that’s is when they attacked you, right?”

Sara slowly shakes her head. “No, Sargent Davis was the one that attacked me not the ghouls.” Sara leaned over. “If they had attacked me, they wouldn’t have cooperated with us.”

Haley jumped in. “You see, we’re telling the truth.”

Arthur held up his hand at Haley. “I know you have been through a lot Ms. Santos. However, during the interrogation process, you let a third party enter and then you reveal your findings to that third party.”

Sara tilts her head down to her knees knowing that she messed up.

“Don’t put the blame on her.” Sara looked up and saw Phil wearing a suit and tie with a silver mask on his face, standing behind Haley and Mr. Parker. “It was my fault for interfering with the investigation, and Sodo and Swiss would have stayed in custody.” He bowed with his right hand on his chest and left arm on his back. “Please accept my apology for my actions.”

William jumped out of his seat. “Where the hell did, he comes from!?”

“The pits.” Phil chuckled. “But that’s is a story for another time.”

“Phil, you know what happened?” Sara asked.

“Yes, we managed to find Sodo and Swiss and they are both being taken to the clergy for punishment as we speak.”

“You know that they need to be in police custody for their involvement in the crime.”

Phil pointed up with his index finger. “Ah, but you are mistaken. Only humans are allowed to be arrested for their crimes if it’s against another human.” Phil puts his finger down. “Also, ghouls are considered to be the property of the clergy. We cannot commit any type of crimes against them or the other ghouls.”

“What if they were ordered to do so?” Sara asked. “What if they were given the order to commit the crime?”

“Sara?” William looked confused.

“I remember during the interrogation Swiss said that they can’t say no to the Clergy and Sodo mentioned that his brother was ordered to keep quiet about the murder he saw at the Clergy.” Sara looks down at her bed. “I don’t know what happened there but it seems like this bishop is using the ghouls to cover for his crime and Copia, well Papa got the blamed for the crime he didn’t commit.”

“So, Copia is innocent?” asked William.

“Yeah, and this bishop is the one we need to go after.”

Phil strokes his mask. “Well, Lucia was well hated by the Clergy because of her bad behavior and constant bullying, so no one will be willing to help.” Everyone looks at Phil. “Ever since she arrived at Clergy, she gave everyone a hard time. Rumor has it she was cut off by her rich family and divorced by her husband before she came to us.”

“Well, this is interesting.” Arthur taps his finger on his cheek. “We have to investigate this case for further analysis to determine if we can go forward with this.” He folded his hands on his lap. “Don’t worry about Mr. Copia Emeritus and the others, they will be released when we’re done with the paperwork.”

Haley joins into the conversation. “Sargent Davis is already in hot water after losing Sodo and Swiss. Now that we know that he lied and physically assaulted a fellow officer, this will be reported and placed in his record. This is not something that should have occurred.”

“Is it possible for me to press charges against him?” Sara asked.

“Of course.” Arthur replied. “We won’t stop you. He needs to learn a lesson or two.”

Then loud music appeared and Phil started panicking and began checking his pockets. He went into his jacket and pulled out the phone. “Yes ma’am?” He answered, “Oh uh, of course.” He paused for a moment. “Well, he will be released soon enough. They did find him innocent.” He paused and took a deep breath. “Yes, but fire ghoul 106, 107, and multi-ghoul 51 will have to be monitored.” He sat down on the bed next to him. “Yes ma’am. Still, they did confirm that we have a murderer in our ranks and used the ghouls to cover up his crime.” Phil bowed his head. “Of course, they will have a name and it will be addressed to you Sister Imperator.” Phil’s voice began to strain. “Y-yes, ma’am. I will inform them right away.” He handed up his phone and shakes his body with a low growl. “Damn that lady scares me.” He said in a different accent. “Ahem, she said that you have her consent to do the investigation at Clergy of Sin as you see fit. However, you still need the proper documentation to enter the premises.”

“I see…” Arthur replied “I will talk to the judge right away.” He looks at Sara. “Gets some rest. We have a lot of work ahead and Peter Davis won’t be involved with the investigation until further notice.”

“Thank you for coming.” Sara lays back down in her bed as the others gone home. She looks to her bedside and notices Phil heading to a mirror to adjust his collar and tie. She soon spots a large scar around his neck. “Decapitation?” Phil turns around to look at her. “Your cause of death, it’s decapitation.”

Phil placed his hand over his neck. “Yes, but it wasn’t my first thought.” He turned and faced the mirror and continued to fix his collar. “My first death was a lethal injection, but it didn’t work.”

“I see… so you’re a criminal before?”

“No, but I did help with rebellion against the Clergy.” He sighed “We lost… my fellow ghouls were ether banished to the pits, imprisoned in the dungeon, or forced to flee the Clergy.” He took off his mask and wiped his eyes. “I… should not speak of this.” He put his mask back on and told Sara “If you are going to investigate the Clergy be advised that they have dark forces that will halt your investigation, not even your left eye can save you.”

“Thank you, Phil. I will take that to heart.” Phil finished adjusting his tie and then left the room. Sara looked up at the ceiling “A rebellion in the Clergy? I wonder what’s that about?” Sara shuts her eyes and falls back to sleep.

A small biographical note on John Bridgens.

In honour of Terror Camp day, which I'm an eager attendee of, I thought I'd finally post some digging I've been doing lately.

Unlike his counterpart in The Terror, John Bridgens was not in his early sixties, but joined the expedition at 26, and came from Woolwich, Kent. He was the Subordinate Officers’ Steward aboard Erebus. Being endlessly fascinated by the way historical fiction can subsume historical identity, Bridgens piqued my interest particularly in the way he has been wholesale lifted from his historical counterpart to become a brand new character. So I went looking for him. What follows is conjecture on my part, but I'm putting it out here as I continue to fact check. This is all subject to correction.

The facts at my immediate disposal were Bridgens’ details on the Erebus muster (ADM 38/672), and a reference to his mother Harriet Richards in the allotment books for Erebus (ADM 27/90/93).

John Bridgens came to the Erebus having previously served on the Endymion, where he was an AB. From the allotment books for the Erebus and Endymion, we know that his mother, who would receive his pay, was called Harriet Richards.

We also have Harriet’s address - 3 New Road, Woolwich, Kent.

That the surname was different was an interesting point, and on further investigating, I was able to find a marriage certificate for a “Harriott Bridgens”, marrying a William Richards in 1822 at St Mary Magdalene, Woolwich. The interesting part came in noting that Harriet was listed as a spinster, suggesting that Bridgens was not a married name. Additionally, if the age in the muster is correct, John Bridgens would already have been three or four at this point. If this is the right Harriet/Harriott, was John potentially an illegitimate child?

Harriott and William Richards turn up in the census for 1841, living at New Road, Woolwich. They do have several children: James, Robert, Nancy, George and Emmalea (Emily) - no John (though he would have been about 21 by this point and potentially already at sea). Harriet and her children by William Richards turn up again in the 1851 census, but living at Rope Yard Rails. William Richards is not present, and from the record of his death, in 1846, it looks like the family moved from New Road some time after that fact - also some time after John Bridgens would have set sail.

Harriott marries again in December 1854, this time to an Alexander Wood, a widower - both of Rope Yard Rails. On this certificate, her father’s name is listed: William Bridgens and his profession given as “labourer”.

With her approximate year of birth from the 1841 census, 1799, it was possible to find a Harriet born to a William and Ruth Bridgens of Flaggon Row baptised on 27th March 1798 at St Nicholas, Deptford. Here, her middle name is given as Maria.

So far, so good, but still no record of John Bridgens. None of Harriet’s siblings have this name either.

In the Death Duty Register for 1854, a John Bridgens is listed registered against a Harriet Richards for Woolwich. This is certainly the right John Bridgens, as the entry for the name confirms that Bridgens was a seaman on Erebus. It includes the updated address for Harriet - Rope Yard Rails. It also contains two other crucial details, his name: “Henry James, otherwise John” (in the index Hen. Jas. othse John) and the additional descriptions “Bachelor", "a Bastard”. Interesting.

Armed with this, a little digging reveals a baptism on 22nd August 1821, for a Henry James, son of Harriet Maria Bridgens and Joseph Gladman. Joseph's profession is listed as “Gunner, Royal Artillery”. Henry James’ birthdate is also listed - 30 September 1818. His surname too, is listed - Bridgens. And in the margin, the person updating the register has written “sp?” Some suggestions from genealogy forums has turned up that this may be an abbreviation for “spurious” or illegitimate.

Three years previously, in the same location, a “Henry Gladman” was baptised on 25th October 1818, to “Harriet Mary Gladman” and “Joseph Gladman”, the latter again being listed as a Gunner in the Royal Artillery. Though the address given is different, if further evidence is needed that this is the same child, the birthdate is added here too - 30th September, 1818. Both of these are registered by the same person, in the same place, so it would be some coincidence.

A September 1818 birthdate would put him squarely at age 26 for March 1845, when he appears on the muster for Erebus.

It looks like that this Henry James was hurriedly baptised by at least one of his unmarried parents, falsely claiming their marriage. A few years later, for whatever reason, the baptism was repeated, and this time his father did not give his surname to his offspring, or to Harriet. As for Joseph Gladman himself, he married another woman, Jane Kelly, a little over a month after Henry James Bridgens/Henry Gladman was born and later moved to Scotland with her and their children.

I’m still working through what happened to this child between his birth and showing up in the Royal Navy (I have Suspicions, but we shall see). That he does not appear in Harriet’s census records is inconclusive - he likely would have already been at sea in 1841. There are other John Bridgens and Henry Bridgens who appear in census records, but these can mostly be associated with other individuals.

It looks to me likely that Henry James Bridgens was born the illegitimate child of Harriet Maria Bridgens, and died John Bridgens, a steward on board HMS Erebus, lost looking for the Northwest Passage. As I said at the top, I'm still fact checking, but it does make an interesting story.

BODY BUILD: jordan has what's considered the ideal weight for his height. he has a fast metabolism so albeit not upkeeping any kind of strict diet or following a specific eating plan, it's hard for him to put on much weight. up until a few years ago — five or six — and following how he stopped regularly exercising / playing basketball, he had a, somewhat, thin figure but ever since he started working out again, he has managed to get some lean muscle. overall, he has a toned body with defined abs and muscular arms. EYE COLOR: dark, earthy brown. EYESIGHT: his eyesight has no problems. HAIR COLOR & STYLE: when the topic in question regards personal style, it's hard to describe jordan's seeing as it is ever-changing. he has dreads and, most of the time, that's the extent he'll go to with his hairstyle. every so often, he'll get tired of having his hair down and he'll go for pigtails — which is one of his favorites hair styles — or a ponytail. when he wants his hair completely out of his way, he'll section his hair and part it in two cornrows and on the rare, he wears half of his hair up and the other half down. James Bond: The Man with the Golden Gun (1974).

Yes, belly dance has appeared in movies like James Bond and even took some prominence during the movie. Bond investigates Saida, a belly dancer from a cabaret in Beirut. He was dating another agent, 002 when a murderer killed him. Bonds discovers that Saida was with the agent when he was killed and that the bullet was never found. Bond goes to see her perform and notices that she’s wearing the bullet in her belly button. In the end, he manages to steal the bullet from Saida. The movie has different dance scenes.

2. John Goldfarb, Please Come Home (1965).

A comedy movie inspired in the novel of William Peter Blatty, published in 1963. It’s a comical spoof of cold war where two Americans, Shirley (a reporter) and Richard (a pilot) are trapped in a desert kingdom and conspire to help the Arabian football team to beat Notre Dame with the help of the CIA. The movie has extensive belly dancing scenes, as Shirley portrays as a belly dancer, getting lessons and even performing.

3. Princess of the Nile (1954).

Shalimar, an Egyptian princess from 1249, struggles to bring freedom to her country. The Bedouin invaders are threatening the security and rights of their people for whom she had to fight so much. To preserve those rights, Shalimar tries to seek alliances that will seek to fight the enemy. The main alliance that she will try to carry out will be with the Caliph of Baghdad, through his son, Prince Haidi. But in order to succeed in her purpose, she will have to impersonate a belly dancer in the market to seduce prince Haidi. The film has many dance scenes and different styles of costumes.

4. Salome (1953).

A biblical film based on the New Testament story, but it doesn’t follow the biblical context and has a lot of fiction. The beautiful Princess Salome is forced to live with her stepfather, King Herod. Salome is a capricious woman who is bored in Galilee. She begins an affair with Commander Claudio, of the Roman Legion, who secretly admires a preacher named John the Baptist, who shortly after is imprisoned and convicted. Salome is captivated by the strength and serenity that John the Baptist gives off, and to save his life, dance to Herod's delight the dance of the seven veils. In fact, the whole plot is directed to the sensual dance of the seven veils.

5. Cairo Unveiled (1994).

A documentary made by New York filmmakers “Simon and Goodman Picture Company”. The documentary enters into the dancing world of Cairo. From the young girls in poor sections of Cairo to the successful career of Lucy, a famous Egyptian belly dancer, the film shows the importance of belly dancing in the culture. Hotels, weddings, and the streets are all places for music and dance in Egypt. It’s in their blood. Ibrahim Akef, a choreographer states that no matter how modern Egypt becomes, they will never forget about belly dancing.

Fruits Basket 2019 - THE DUB!!!

Sorry for the delay. I wanted to wait for one more cast announcement before I did this post.

With the news of Fruits Basket starting over with crisp new animation and a brand-new cast in the Japanese version, many of us in the west are thinking that maybe FUNimation will change the entire dub cast as well.

Throughout the past two weeks, FUNimation has announced the cast list to the new Fruits Basket and it’s a mixture of old and new.

First the old, Tohru Honda, Kyo Sohma, Yuki Sohma, Shigure Sohma, Hatsuharu Sohma, Hatori Sohma, and Ayame Sohma WILL ALL BE VOICED BY THEIR ORIGINAL VOICE ACTORS!

That’s right! Laura Bailey, Jerry Jewell, Eric Vale, John Burgmeier, Justin Cook, Kent Williams, and Chris (manliest voice alive voicing a feminine bisexual snake) Sabat are back.

To which Medea gives this a big ol’ FUCK YEAH!

Now the new! Uo, Hana, and Momiji Sohma’s voices were going to be replaced whether you liked it or not. Their voice actors haven’t been heard from in forever. Meredith McCoy will not be voicing Kagura Sohma. This was rather odd to me since she has been back doing Android 18′s voice for Dragon Ball Super. But from what I’ve heard she’s been busy with other commitments (including being out of the country). In which case, I wish her the best. And as for Akito...
