The apartment is barren. There are no posters on the walls. No pictures anywhere. Not even frames with stock pictures. Something a hopeful person would get. Forget to replace the generic faces with people they knew.

Instead of hope, there was nothing.

Ok i watched all of Lioness s1 and s2 if you're gonna watch it for lesbians the good sapphic writing is in s1 and s2 is just scraps very little and not very good imo.

But the storylines are still interesting for a military show I wouldn't say its selling anyone as the good guy or any action as heroic. And thats interesting. And the cast is stacked with actors like zoe saldana and nicole kidman in major roles.

Some spoilery opinions underneath if you are planning to watch.

I do think the writing was stronger in season 1 because it was more focused. I cared about cruz and aaliyah and that made the whole ending more impactful. And I would actually be very interested in seeing aaliyah again. I'm sure whichever brother took over from her dad married her off to someone just as bad. And that would be an interesting storyline.

Season 2 I felt the focus was very much more on joe and how it was affecting her personal life, which was interesting. I didn't care about josie and I don't think they cared if I did. I don't think I want them to keep her with cruz like I don't care to see her in a s3. She didn't add anything for me she was just kind of there. And I am actually a little pissed off that her family basically walks away scott free. I just don't see what else they could do with her other than have her be the teams pilot but her dad is now the head of that cartel is she gonna cut all ties with her family. I didn't get the vibe that she would.
