里の櫻 -Cherry blossoms in the village-

Hug had been feeling unwell since mid-March, and her poor condition lasted for about 4 weeks. However, this year, the full-fledged cherry blossoms bloomed quite late, so I was able to enjoy cherry blossom viewing with Hug, who has recovered.

Everything is not just a matter of course. I am deeply grateful for our beautiful and lovable everyday life :-))

３月中旬から４週間ほど、ハグが体調を崩した状態が続いていました。シニア齢になってからなにかしらの病気に罹ると治りが遅くなる傾向にはあったものの、ここまで長引くのは初めてのことで、イヌ飼い達の間では、しばしば愛犬の健康について「13歳の壁」なんていう話題が出るんですけど、ハグもいままさにその年齢であり色々と考��させられてしまいます。

でも無事に回復してくれ、今年は桜の開花がかなり遅かったおかげで、元気を取り戻したハグと例年通りにお花見散歩ができたことがしみじみとうれしく感じられたのでした🌸😚🐶🌸

Song Review: Tedeschi Trucks Band and Leon Russell - “The Letter” (Live, 2015)

Ten years after Tedeschi Trucks Band teamed with Leon Russell, the surviving members of Mad Dogs & Englishmen and a slew of guest for a set at LOCKN’, the concert will be released as an album. And “The Letter” suggests the wait was worth it.

Susan Tedeschi sings it, her throat-ripping vocals bolstered by the huge MD&E choir. Russell bashes out chords and licks from behind a piano as white as his mane. Derek Trucks turns in a searing guitar solo. And the TTB horns blare as the cadre of drummers keep things moving swiftly.

They stay close to the tour’s original arrangement for Joe Cocker and do serious justice to the short-lived behemoth they’re honoring.
