USA 1980's PART 4
Stills from the 'Pro Wrestling Sex' series of Wrestling Porn movies from the 80's.
Ex Pro wrestler turned Porn producer Raymond 'Dr Death' O'Sullivan, had the bright idea of releasing a series of pro wrestling themed gay porn films. Using only real Pro wrestlers for authenticity, and knowing they always fucked after (sometimes during) their matches, all he had to do was show up with his crew and start filming, while the action unfolded. No direction needed! He would occasionally appear in these films too.
The fights and sex were unscripted.
Popular themes included Heel vs Jobber, Tag matches, 2/3 on 1, Bigger vs smaller, father/son tag fights, erotic sex fights, bloody battles etc

What Turned me Gay (not really): Pro Wrestling in the 90's
Pro Wrestling truly hit it's golden age in the 90's.聽 It was a time when sexy guys tied strings around their biceps and men intimidated each other by oiling up their pecs.聽聽There was something magical about this time. The combination of colossal egos and a fresh crop of young jobbers each week created a spectacle that will never be replicated.
Ravishing Rick Rude and Stunning Steve Austin v Flyin' Brian and Sting
What turned me gay (not really) ...聽 This post, inspired by the sidelineland.com blog, takes a tongue and cheek look into "what made me gay (not really)" and my journey of discovery would not be complete without examining Pro Wrestling in the 90's, an era that definitely turned me gay.聽
The Background It all began with an image.聽 I can't recall who or even which network it was on but there he was.聽 A jobber, trapped on the ring post getting hammered away by a vicious heel.聽 Now while I can't recall his face, I do recall the feeling it left with me.聽 The taught and fit jobber, the sweaty bodies, the satisfied smile on the heel. My young emotions screamed one thing; I needed to watch more of this.聽聽
Not the Jobber in the corner I remember but sexy Lee Scott will do.
It helped that my older brother was also into wrestling.聽 Together we'd watch and celebrate or rag on each other depending on if our heroes won or lost.聽聽But there was always one wrestler I fixated on, one man I obsessed over for reasons my young mind simply couldn't comprehend. That man was Ravishing Rick Rude.
Grabbing that chest won't save you!
Ravishing Rick Rude and Stunning Steve Austin v Flyin' Brian and Sting (WCW)
Ravishing Rick Rude v Hawk聽(WCW)
Ravishing Rick Rude v Ricky Steamboat聽(WCW)
That long, muscular body, that alpha energy the man gave off, but above all it was those abs of steel.聽 You could not tear me away from a Rick Rude match when he was flashing those abs into my television.聽 Rick Rude awakened something in me before I even knew I liked guys.聽 That persona and masculine聽energy was something I simply wanted more of.聽 With that incredible body, those sculpted arms, that tough guy mustache all worked to scramble my young brain; Rick Rude definitely聽turned me gay.聽聽
Rick showing us the goods
Ravishing Rick Rude resting his head on a jobber
Then came another bombshell, one that a lot gay men out there could not get enough of, that is the one and only, Alex Wright.聽聽
The one and only, Alex Wright
Tall and smooth, while also deceptively scaling the ropes between jobber and heel, Alex Wright was Pro wrestling's first Twunk.聽 The man was a stealth wrestler.聽 A man you'd expect to be riding around in a convertible listening to techno music, but then something would flip and that man would bring the heat.
Alex Wright v Brian Pillman聽
Alex with Paul Roma
My favorite Alex matches were the few when he got to dominate.聽 It was almost like waking up from a spell, all those pretty muscles in that huge imposing frame weren't for show - the man was simply so drool worthy you'd forget how imposing the guy could be.聽聽
Alex Wright fights back (sometimes)
Alex Wright was my first male lust and was all my youthful urges personified as a pro wrestler. The man absolutely turned me gay.聽聽
The one and only Alex Wright!
What made this time so great to me was that it was a moment when pro studios excelled at fostering young talent.聽 Guys like Mark Jindrak brutalizing a young jobber, a kiss of the knuckles punch to take down Lee Scott, or in the case of Evan Karagias, being on the receiving end of the beatdown.聽 It was the perfect collision of over-the-top silliness with raw manly emotion.聽 This era simply had something going for it that I can't quite explain and haven't seen since.
Mark Jindrak vs. Elix Skipper (WCW)
Mean Mark (The Undertaker) v Lee Scott (WCW)
Paul Orndorff v Lee Scott (WCW)
Evan Karagias v Chris Jericho (WCW)
In spite of the beautiful smooth bodies shoved through my television, a stand out moment from my youth was witnessing the great聽Arn Anderson tearing down some poor jobber.聽聽It was like hearing music for the first time and realizing that beauty does not always equal pretty. For me anyway, the sight of a no-nonsense, tougher-than-your-dad heel like Arn Anderson in his prime was undeniably beautiful and wrestling once again revealed something about myself that I didn't understand at the time but would later come to relish.
Arn Anderson v Alex Wright (WCW)
Arn for the Win! Arn Anderson v Eddie Jackson (WCW)
They say, often when you think you're at the end of something, you're actually at the beginning of something else. This certainly held true as the decade drew to a close and something seemed to shift in pro wrestling. While the same sexy, hard bodies still clashed in the ring, it felt like a part of what I once loved had moved on.
Or maybe I moved on. You see, Pro Wrestling in the '90s may have been the spark that turned me gay, but before I knew it, I was fully embracing myself as a gay man. Your formative years are funny like that. No matter how much time passes or where I am on this journey, I still can't shake that image of a faceless jobber trapped in the corner, somewhere back in the '90s.

Big Oily Men and Women grappling and punching, who could hate it!
Genre: Wrestling!
Touchstones: Wrestling! Japanese, Mexican Lucha, and American alike
What is this game?: WWF is a game about Wrestling! you can play the script, or maybe put your own twists on the plot...
How's the gameplay?: WWW is a 2d6+stats game, however characters can build up Momentum during a fight, how generally Hype a match is, which can be spent 1-to-1 to improve rolls. Characters also have a "Heat" score with every other Character, Heat determines how hype the audience gets seeing those two characters in the ring, 0 is "Two Jobbers fighting for the first time" and 4 is "Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant" levels of Hype. Characters at character creation get to pick not only their Story Gimmick, but also their Role, are they a Heel or a Babyface? are they going for cheers or boos? in wrestling, those are synonimous, a good Heel is just as iconic as a babyface! after all, later on you can also pick up a secondary role, Icons embody their role, Legends are unforgettable masters no matter what they do, and Celebrities are famous outside of the ring. Gimmicks depend on what you want your character's ring role to be, wanna play my personal favorite wrestler, Kagetsu, and beat down your opponents brutally? play a Hardcore Heel wanna play a classic wrestler back for one last bout? play the Luminary, wanna always lose your matches? play the Jobber! The Gimmicks are basically everything you'd like from a wrestling game. The game also features some lesser known gimmicks for advanced players so get creative!
What's the setting (If any) like?: The real world, i guess? you could run in an alt history, that'd be fun, or even go full ace combat and create an entire alternate planet for a fairly simple game about wrasslin'
What's the tone?: It's wrestling, so its goofy, but can tell serious stories at times. The game will usually always tell the story of up and coming wrestlers becoming legends in their own right though!
Session length: 2-3 hours
Number of Players: 4-6 is the game's recommendation
Malleability: As long as its wrestling at its core, you could set this in any setting theoretically?
Resources: The game has ref sheets and
a group sheet is available
It's wrestling! if its what you're looking for go for it. My only tip for running it: Ask your players to choose a theme song for their characters, to add some flavor!

AEW Fake Rankings, 10/20/2024
Men's singles division - babyfaces
Will Ospreay
Darby Allin
Ricochet
Jay White
Mark Briscoe (ROH men's world champion)
Daniel Garcia
Orange Cassidy
Kyle O'Reilly
HOOK
Katsuyori Shibata
Men's singles division - heels
Jon Moxley (AEW men's world champion)
Kazuchika Okada (AEW continental champion)
Adam Page
Konosuke Takeshita (AEW international champion)
Christian Cage
Jack Perry (AEW TNT champion)
Chris Jericho
Kyle Fletcher
Shelton Benjamin
Roderick Strong
Unranked: Aaron Solo, Angelico, AR Fox, Atlantis Jr.*, Big Bill, Bryan Keith, Hologram, Jeff Jarrett, Johnny TV, Juice Robinson, Komander, Lio Rush*, Minoru Suzuki*, Nick Wayne, Rocky Romero*, Serpentico/Jon Cruz, The Butcher
Jobbers: Alpha Zo*, BEEF*, Chris Nastyy*, Cody Chhun*, Jack Cartwheel*, Joe Keys*, Marcus Mathers*, Matt Brannigan*, Olumide*, Ryan Clancy*, TJ Crawford
* Not listed on AEW's official roster webpage
Moxley has declared war on the AEW roster (or at least the men's locker room), and it feels like he'll spend at least the next six months clobbering wave after wave of "complacent" midcarders. Darby Allin is clearly being set up as a major destination for this saga, but I'm not certain if he'll be Moxley's first big challenger, or if he'll be saved for the end like Sting in 1997. There's also foreshadowing of Orange Cassidy and Daniel Garcia stepping up, and I think Hook and Kyle O'Reilly would fit in that role as well. But only one guy can get the rub of dethroning Mox, and we'll just have to wait and see who that will be.
Heading into Full Gear on November 23, the other top programs look to be Jay White vs. Adam Page, Ospreay vs. Fletcher, Takeshita vs. Fletcher, Jericho vs. Briscoe, Garcia vs. Perry, Swerve Strickland vs. Shelton Benjamin, and Adam Cole vs. MJF. I expect Hook vs. Christian Cage will be a thing too, but right now it's just an educated guess that Christian is the one who attacked Hook's father.
Men's tag team division - babyfaces
The Acclaimed - Max Caster & Anthony Bowens
FTR - Dax Wheeler & Cash Wheeler
Private Party - Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen
Dustin Rhodes (ROH trios champion) & Sammy Guevara (ROH tag team champions)
The Outrunners - Truth Magnum* & Turbo Floyd*
Men's tag team division - heels
The Young Bucks - Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson (AEW tag team champions)
Grizzled Young Veterans - James Drake* & Zack Gibson*
MxM Collection - Mason Madden* & Mansoor*
Matt Taven & Mike Bennett
Brian Cage (ROH men's television champion) & Lance Archer
Iron Savages - Bulk Bronson* & Beefcake Boulder*
* Not listed on AEW's official roster webpage
The state of the tag division is this: The Bucks are heel champions with no one to fight. The Acclaimed haven't ever gotten a clean two-on-two title shot all year, but they don't seem to be in a hurry to get it anymore. FTR and Private Party already lost to the Bucks. The Outrunners, MxM, and the Iron Savages are all cool as hell, but they're comedy acts that can't beat anybody. I don't think GYV have been around since they got upset by the Outrunners, which may be a sign that they aren't going to be back. Rhodes-Guevara and Taven-Bennett are big deals in ROH but off the radar in AEW. Don Callis has put Cage and Archer together to chase the tag title, but I don't see that going anywhere as long as the champions are also heels.
I'd like to see Private Party rack up a big win to get back into the title hunt, but I don't see why that should turn out any differently than the title match they just lost last week. So it feels like the division is going nowhere, marking time until the Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi) are ready to feud with the Bucks. Which, I'd be fine with doing that feud, but not if it means keeping the division in deep freeze for a couple more months.
Men's trios division - babyfaces
Malakai Black & Brody King & Buddy Matthews
Action Andretti & Dante Martin & Darius Martin
Dark Order - Evil Uno & John Silver & Alex Reynolds
Men's trios division - heels
Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta & PAC (AEW trios champions)
La Faccion Ingobernable - Rush & Dralistico & The Beast Mortos
Premier Athletes - Tony Nese & Josh Woods & Ariya Daivari
Moxley's running buddies control the trios title, which works out well since all the undercard scrubs they keep beating up can then demand a match and get clobbered in a trios match. This seems to be giving Dark Order and Action-Darius-Dante something to work with, even if it's not much and they have no hope of winning. I think Daniel Garcia and Private Party would be a stronger trio to go after the title, but they're not done yet with Jack Perry and the Young Bucks.
The House of Black is remarkably well protected for a group that never figures into any major storylines. Are they being built up to take the belts from Claudio, Pac, and Yuta? Could Julia Hart return to counter Marina Shafir? Who knows.
I stuck LFI in the trios division because I really don't know what those three guys are going to do, now that they're all in the same team with Jake Roberts. I don't think AEW knows either, so that'll probably lead to a bunch of throwaway trios matches. Hopefully they can at least win those matches, which would keep them ahead of Neese-Woods-Daivari.
Women's division - babyfaces
Britt Baker
Willow Nightingale
Jamie Hayter
Kris Statlander
Anna Jay
Queen Aminata
Nyla Rose
Yuka Sakazaki
Lady Frost*
Trish Adora*
Women's division - heels
Mariah May (AEW women's world champion)
Mercedes Mone (AEW TBS champion, STRONG women's champion)
Kamille
Serena Deeb
Taya Valkyrie
Emi Sakura
Harley Cameron
Robyn Renegade*
Jobbers: Amira*, Brooke Havok*, Zoey Lynn*
* Not listed on AEW's official roster webpage
You'd think Marina Shafir would be running rough-shod over the women's division to lock up its top title the way Moxley has with the men. The problem is that moving the world title would disrupt the Mariah May/Toni Storm/Mina Shirakawa storyline. I guess Shafir could crush Mone, but I don't know if that would do either of them any good. Sooner or later, though, it will become clear that Marina is the woman to beat, which will get awkward if there are too many champions that can't beat her.
As it is, the big programs for the women right now are Mariah vs. Anna Jay, Mone and Kamille vs. Statlander, and, uh, Jamie Hayter vs. Penelope Ford? It feels like there should be more going on right now. But I don't know where Britt and Willow are headed, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie keep doing pre-taped promos about nothing, and Toni Storm is still roaming the world pretending she doesn't know who Mariah May is. After five years AEW's women's roster finally has some real depth, but that only gets the division so far when it only gets 3-4 matches per week.
No televised AEW matches in over 30 days: Abadon, Athena (ROH women's world champion), Brandon Cutler, Diamante, Lee Moriarty (ROH pure champion), Marhsall Von Erich* (ROH trios champion), Preston Vance, Red Velvet (ROH women's television champion), Ross Von Erich* (ROH trios champion), Shane Taylor, Shawn Dean
* Not listed on AEW's official roster webpage
Not much new to report about the wrestlers officially signed to AEW but almost exclusively appearing on Ring of Honor. They're on the shows, they're getting work, it's just that almost nobody hears about it. The worst part is most of these names can't even get booked on an ROH pay-per-view.
No televised AEW or ROH matches in over 30 days: Anthony Ogogo, Angelo Parker, Austin Gunn, Bishop Kaun, Bobby Dutch, Colten Gunn, Deonna Purrazzo, Griff Garrison, Hikaru Shida, Jay Lethal, Kip Sabian, Leila Grey, Lee Johnson, Marina Shafir, Matt Menard, Peter Avalon, Swerve Strickland, Thunder Rosa, Toa Liona, Toni Storm, Vincent Marseglia
The bad news is that I don't know why most of these wrestlers haven't been in the ring lately, but the good news is most of them haven't been completely MIA. Some were around in late August/early September, some are on the show right now but not wrestling, and some are booked for the next couple of weeks. That's what I like to see.
No televised AEW or ROH matches in over 90 days: Colt Cabana, Danhausen, Kiera Hogan, Madison Rayne, Mercedes Martinez, Penta El Zero Miedo, Powerhouse Hobbs, Rey Fenix, Ricky Starks
These are the wrestlers I'm worried about. Colt and Madison seem to be transitioning to backstage roles and/or semi-retirement, so that's okay. But I have no idea why Tony Khan would have Danhausen, Starks, Penta, and Fenix on the payroll and not book them. I realize Penta and Fenix are reportedly planning to go to WWE, but that doesn't mean you can use them to do a few jobs on the way out. Hobbs is supposed to be medically cleared, so I don't understand why he wasn't around for the big Don Callis Family promo on October 16. Hogan and Martinez seem to have fallen off the face of the earth.
No televised AEW or ROH matches in 2024: Adam Cole, Kota Ibushi, Michael Nakazawa, Miro, Penelope Ford, Scorpio Sky, Tay Melo
Cole and Ford just got back and should be returning to the ring imminently. Ibushi has already returned to the ring in Japan and I figure he'll be back in an AEW ring soon enough. I've heard Melo is training to return from maternity leave so it's probably just a matter of time. Nakazawa seems to just be a backstage guy at this point. It was recently reported that Miro requested his release, but evidently he hasn't gotten it. AEW was running hype videos for Scorpio a few months ago but then dropped it, so I have no idea.
Part-time/semi-retired: Alex Abrahantes, Karen Jarrett, Luther, Mark Sterling, Nigel McGuinness, Paul Wight, Prince Nana, Rebel, Satnam Singh, Sonjay Dutt, Stokely Hathaway
I suppose I'll have to move Bryan Danielson into this list, once he's gotten his neck issues worked out and if he can still go on a part-time basis.
Inactive
Adam Copeland (left leg - tibia fracture)
Angel Ortiz (right shoulder - pectoralis tear)
Bandido (left arm - wrist fracture)
Bryan Danielson (storyline injuries - probably to set up legit neck surgery)
Chuck Taylor (left ankle - necrosis)
Eddie Kingston (right leg - tibia fracture, ACL/meniscus tear)
Julia Hart (shoulder - unspecified injury)
Keith Lee (undisclosed injury)
Kenny Omega (diverticulitis)
Killswitch (double pneumonia)
Leyla Hirsch (elbow - dislocation)
Mark Davis (left arm - wrist fracture)
Matt Sydal (right foot - malunion fractures)
MJF (filming Happy Gilmore 2)
Nick Comoroto (hip resurfacing)
Riho (work visa delays)
Ruby Soho (pregnant)
Samoa Joe (filming Twisted Metal season 2)
Saraya (storyline - "incapacitated")
Skye Blue (right ankle - fracture)
The Blade (lower back - herniated disc)
Trent Beretta (neck - hardware removal surgery)
Wardlow (knee - unspecified injury)
I haven't heard any significant updates on any of these wrestlers. Lately it seems like a report will come out that so-and-so is medically cleared, and then so-and-so still sits in the twilight zone for months before they come back. So even if there was news I don't think it would help us estimate when a wrestler will return to the ring.

NXT ... But It's ECW *Part Deux
(10 Woman Tag Match / NXT : 6th/Nov.2k24)
How could a ten woman tag match possibly be extreme on a night paying homage to ECW?
Enter the NXT women's division.
Kelani Jordan and Jacy Jayne served as the respective MVPs for their teams - Jordan getting the most high-flying work soaring about the arena taking out the heels several times over
while Jayne served as the workhorse jobber, taking the most punishment from the faces.
My favorite point of this match was the face-off between these two, because how could I pick a side?
But while Jayne spent the match racking up pity points, Jordan showed out since the match started with a jumping Meteora.
I haven't even seen Mercedes Mone' do that.
Giulia commanded so much respect in the ring as did Stephanie Vaquer, making it so easy to hate whatever Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade were doing.
I just couldn't understand why Giulia stayed in the ring for so long when she was getting her first wind. Giulia just doesn't make sense as a jobber, and should be treated as such.
Plus, the viking schtick really works for her. This isn't Valkyrie.
Zaria just might be the closest thing though.
After she crushed Brinley Reece last week, I haven't been big on her and it looks like WWE has got the memo.
She crashed into Jordynne Grace with a spear as she went to get the win without a fireman's carry slam and didn't even pick Grace back up.
A heel turn is imminent for Zaria, and in the case of WWE, the sooner the better. Zaria vs. Grace could headline Deadline, and that's just an early prospect.
Jackson and Legend's mid match cameo was jokes. A great distraction, but I was as hurt seeing them wiped out as whenever Jayne took a hit. They really deserve some tag titles.
For a tag match to be an ECW tribute closer, I still find it to be a strange decision. Thankfully no matter the date or stipulation - NXT's women will always show out as they did to close this show, a great exhibition of those looking to get vetted and vets who it would be a shame to see get called up from WWE's best program today.

finally getting around to watching the latest episode of roh and here are all my thoughts:
I think Josh Woods has the potential to be a big contender in roh I just wish he was built up more and would actually drop Mark as his manager. He needs to show he can stand on his own and actually do promos instead of just standing around looking intimidating.
Lexy continues to be the beautiful glue holding this company together I am so proud of how far she's come as an interviewer and broadcaster in the last year you can tell she's really found her confidence
Tony Nesse continues to be the bane of my existence and is the most uncharistmatic one note heel jobber out there he should just be cut all togther at this point.
Scorpio is here now. I'm pretty indifferent to him and I'm worried with him and Ethan being in this togther they'll become a tag team again which I think would be a huge back slide for Ethan who I think needs to focus on building himself up as a baby face which I wish he had done a long time ago
I'm happy that Lee Johnson being built up in this company as well, after being out on injury for so long he lost a lot of momentum but I'm glad to be getting more of a showcase of his talents and capabilities
GRAVITY!!! I am always charmed by his silly little gimmick
Outrunners are my goofy guys and I love the silliness
I really appreciate how much time and care is being put into building up Billy and her relationship with Athena is so perfect these two are the stars of the whole company and the highlight of every episode.
I've said it before and ill say it again- Andretti is sooooo boring and is dragging Darius down with him. When Dante was going solo when his brother was injured he was able to thrive and make waves in aew but now that he's out Darius seems to be drowning. I wish he would be on his own so he could properly show his talents instead of being in bland tag match after band tag match with Action.
Griff is still here? why?
These crowds are not hype enough for the powerhouse that is Leyla she scares me so much :)
JIMMY JACOBS HI HI HIIIIII HIIIIIIIII ZOMBIE PRINCESS my thoughts are not coherent I am goo
It's so unfortunate that Shane Taylor has such a majestic dumpy because it's wasted on a very boring wrestler
Dalton called me a baby chicken and made me blush. I get the feeling he's a very open and emotional lover.
Cole Carter and Griff Garrison match? Skip.
Mercedes and Diamante make such a good scary lesbian duo why don't the women have tag belts in this company because they should be champs yesterday
It makes me so angry when crowds are dead silent during a good women's match y'all don't deserve these amazing women
I am once more sipping the savage sauce, in fact I have not stopped sipping the savage sauce I am all in on the iron savages. Something very beautiful about guys who drink pre-workout like water and love to eat ass.
You know what? I'd love to see a Boulder vs Brody big boy match. That's my new dream match.
Very heart warming to hear people cheering very loudly for my boy Ethan Page. I kinda hope they built Ethan up enough to face Eddie and make a great rivalry out of it considering the history they have togther.
Brian Cage and Metalik main event??? this is so darksided and awful all these bad bitches backstage and you give me this???? Don't get me wrong I like Metalik but he's not a main eventer.
Brain cage must be an absolute throat goat the way he keeps getting tv time

Anthony鈥檚 Stupid Daily Blog (772): Sun 28th Apr 2024
Checked out last night's edition of Collision. The show started with Swerve coming out to celebratehis title win which was good but this should have happened on Dynamite and I don't think Swerve should have been booked in what was essentially an exhibition match, it just made it come across like AEW are already shifting their focus elsewhere other than the fucking WORLD CHAMPION. I was delighted that they had Claudio Castagnoli interupt Swerve's promo and then challenge Swerve to a title match in the main event. Every addition of Dynamite and Collision should be like this i.e planting the seeds for the main event and then building to it throughout the night. Next up we got Bullet Club Gold vs Top Flight and Action Andretti. This was a great match but Tony should have still decided and announced that Bullet Club Gold's match will be at the next pay per view and this match should have built towards it. Next week on Dynamite Adam Copeland will defend the TNT title against one member of House of Black but won't find out which until match time. I would have Copeland hold an open challenge again, have House of Black keep interrupting Copeland鈥檚 matches and then eventually when Copeland says he wants the HOB they say they will only fight him in a gauntlet where if one member of HOB pins him they win the belt. Rey Fenix returned to AEW next in a match with The Beast Mortos who is the former Black Tourus from Impact. Again another good match but should have been the start of a storyline. What I would have done is have Jay Lethal attack Fenix afterwards and on the next show explains that he saw tributes pouring in for Fenix telling him to get well soon all the while he was busting his arse to ungrateful fans. Throughout the night we got teasers for the upcoming Parking Lot Bral between Chuck Taylor and Trent Baretta. I liked this even if it's teasing a match between two wrestlers I have no interest in seeing ever again. They could鈥檝e had a segment where Kris Statlander and Orange Cassidy try to talk Chuck out of the match and then Sue begging Trent not to go through with the match. Next up Rush聽 destroyed a jobber. If it was me booking the show I would do an angle where Rush destroys jobber for a couple of weeks then gets on the mic and complains about the lack of competition then when he and LFI are beating a jobber after a match one week Hangman Page comes out and the two have a pull apart brawl setting up a feud between the two. Next we got Toni Storm vs Anna Jay. They should just put Anna Jay with Jack Perry. She鈥檚 hot as fuck but she always loses and needs a bit more credibility. After the match Serena Deeb came out and declared she would beat Toni. I would expand on Deeb's gimmick of "The Professor" by having her squash a lower card ladies wrestler then take her backstage to her "classroom" and conduct a class where she expains why Toni Storm can't win. Then they could have the lower card woman become Deebs "Star Pupil" (I think I might have stolen this storyline idea from Windom Earle & Leo Johnson from Twin Peaks). We then got The Acclaimed vs the debuting Grizzled Young Veterans. I was really surprised to see them lose but then if they're presenting this as real then it is quite believable since a good percentage of UFC fighter and boxers must lose their debut fights. After the match I would鈥檝e had a backstage segment where GYV go to Tony Khan and ask for another shot at The Acclaimed. Khan says that maybe they鈥檒l get another shot down the line. As they鈥檙e about to leave Arn Anderson tells them to follow him and heel show them how to get Khan to notice them. Finally in the main event Swerve delivered an absolute banger of a match against the great Claudio Castagnoli and it took a Swerve stomp and a House Call to finish him off. Another great match but nothing happened afterwards. They should have taken the opportunity to show us who Swerve's first feud will be with going forward.聽

Sexy Signature Moves: Rocky Sparks
I聽have a theory, so bear with me.聽 Rocky Sparks is not a jobber, but is in fact the antagonist, luring his opponent in and baiting them to gut punch him.聽 In effect, Rocky gets his heel to ab bash him for the win.聽聽
Rocky "Heel Honey pot" Sparks
Rocky's impenetrable abs are a trap.聽聽
It's a heel honey pot, designed to get his heel to pound his abs and tire themselves out and put their guard down. Rocky also doesn't seem to mind getting his mid-section pummeled, on the contrary, it appears to power him up.聽 So with that, enjoy the images from the master himself - Rocky "Heel Honey pot" sparks - dominating his opponents by being dominated.聽 In the end, an ab bash was what he was after all along.聽聽
