As a youngster, I was always fascinated (and intimidated) by Ray Stevens because of his nickname: "The Crippler." So exactly how many unsuspecting opponents had this heartless brute sent to the hospital on a stretcher? Or deliberately injured to end their careers in wrestling??

The brutality of a Heel going out of his way to CRIPPLE other men just to win wrestling matches was, for whatever reason, intoxicating to me. The danger to life and limb faced by any cute jobber who foolishly got in the ring with this sadist -- there is something very triggering about the scenario.

The vintage wrestling magazines would play up the Cruel Heel persona to titillate the readers. They created a universe where a hard ass would Pile-Drive his opponent intending to break his neck, and enjoy it. And face no consequences from the Powers That Be. He just gets to keep hurting muscular, shirtless young men (while apparently getting off on it.) The injustice got me all turned on, for whatever reason. My father told me not to worry, it's all fake. But I didn't care if it was fake, it gave me a boner anyway -- I guess I'm into S&M fantasies like a lot of other perverts.

The images and text in today's post were taken from an article in the March 1983 issue of Wrestling's Main Event magazine. You can see how they pornified fighting, using violent images and provocative text to shock (or excite?) the (horny young male) reader.

The photos in the Ray Stevens article depict him absolutely brutalizing jobber S. D. Jones to fuel our fantasies, ultimately finishing off the wimp using his dreaded Piledriver. The text that accompanies these images describes other wrestlers injured by this sadistic fucker, along with boastful quotes from the Crippler himself, extolling his merciless nature and threatening to harm more vulnerable males in his path.

And just like that, another lifelong pro wrestling enthusiast was created.

Bob Bradley was one of my favorite jobbers. He was fairly muscular and kind of chubby, like he'd be warm and heavy if you hugged him. He was also reasonably handsome and clean cut. But it was his sexy gear choices that really made my pulse quicken.

He loved to wrestle in sexy animal print trunks. He never won many matches, but I found his look very appealing-- maybe have a thing for Tarzan. Here we see Bradley take a nice beating from a ruthless veteran Heel, "Dirty" Dick Slater in red trunks.

I'd be watching a Bradley beating, shaking my head in wonder why I'm apparently the only person noticing how amazing he looks in his Tarzan trunks. I mean, Gorilla Monsoon discusses every other aspect of the match without one mention of the leopard in the room: "Damn. this Bob Bradley's ass is hot in those sexy briefs!" Just SAY IT, Gorilla -- how can you NOT see it?!

At least during this match, I heard a wolf whistle from some horn-dog in the crowd. Not long after the match begins, Slater pushes Bradley into the corner and the two men jockey for position, and you can hear the "Wooot WHOOO!"

THANK YOU, Mr. Whistler, for acknowledging Bradley's sexiness! This confirmed for me that I might not be the only pervert in the world with this obsession for good looking males in trunks.

The Spotland Scrappers website recently posted a very entertaining two-against-one match featuring Benny and Cuz against Jack Nero. For the first half of the video, Nero wrestles the smaller guys one on one, easily dominating each one in a cocky manner.

The fun for me begins when Benny and Cuz resolve to work together to teach their bully some humility. Much of their offense focuses on busting his balls to completely emasculate him!

We are treated to some creative pro style moves, plenty of double-teaming, and some rather vicious crotch punishment. Jack Nero's selling is adorable as he transitions from the Big Swinging Dick to the ball-busted punching bag. Now I'd love to see Nero find a partner to give these two uppity rookies some paybacks!
