Are you planning to build an app for career counseling but don't know where to start? Look no further! So, we have created a step-by-step guide on how to build your career counselling app successfully and assist people with their careers. Let's dive in!
Understanding the Market
Before you begin the development process, it's essential to conduct thorough market research. Identify the target audience for your app and understand their needs and pain points. Are you targeting recent college graduates looking for their first job? Or perhaps mid-career professionals looking to make a career change? Understanding your target market it will be easier for you to adjust the app according to their interests.
Defining Your App's Features
Once you have a clear understanding of your target market, it's time to define the features of your career counselling app. Some essential features to consider include:
Personality and Skills Assessment: Allow users to assess their personality traits, interests, and skills to determine suitable career paths.
Resume Builder: Provide users with tools to create professional resumes that highlight their qualifications and experience.

Career Guides and Resources: Offer career guides, articles, and resources to help users explore different career options and industries.
Mock Interviews: Provide users with the opportunity to practice interview skills through mock interviews and receive feedback.
Choosing the Right Technology
So, what technology stack should you consider when creating a career counseling app? Take things such as scalability, security, and user experience into account when choosing technology for your app. Whether you build native or want to go with a cross-platform app, make sure that the technology stack matches your application's complex needs and long-run vision.
Designing a User-Friendly Interface
A Guide to Create Applications for Career Counselling – Build it User-Friendly : Design an interface that is easy-to-use so the end users can use your app and stay on longer. Collect it through user testing to know how people are using the tool and build the UX around that.
Monetization Strategies
There are several monetization strategies you can consider for your career counselling app. Some common monetization methods include:
Freemium Model: Offer basic features of the app for free and charge users for premium features and services.
Subscription Model: Implement a subscription-based model where users pay a monthly or annual fee to access premium content and features.
Advertising: Partner with companies to display targeted advertisements within the app to generate revenue.
Launching and Marketing Your App
After your career counselling app is ready, now its turn to create a marketing plan of how you are going to launch this Career Guidance App in the market among thousands of other applications serving the same purpose. Utilize social media, digital marketing and PR stunts to create a buzz around your app in order to attract the attention of your target audience. They can have promotional discounts or work with career development organizations to gain more users.
In conclusion,
Career counseling assists job seekers to choose the right career as per their ability or talent while adhering to current job trends, and also provides proficient resources so job seekers are better prepared for jobs of their selection – both of which directly impact their employability.

The original Gravity Falls pitches and pilot just dropped!!
(Link for those who want it)
For those who don't wanna look through all of it, here are some highlights I found!
Interesting changes from the pitch (What Alex Hirsch showed Disney to make them greenlight the show):
Stan’s secret was that he’s secretly protecting the townsfolk from weirdness, nothing to do with Ford. No mention of Ford in the pitch at all. Stan also wanted Dipper and Mabel to be his successors in this version.
Mabel used to be the unhygienic one instead of Dipper.
Wendy was brunette and didn’t work as the Mystery Shack cashier, instead selling veggie juice out of her van.
As such, Soos (Jesús in this version) worked the register in addition to his handyman job in this version. He was a bit less of a hard worker here, watching telenovelas on the job sometimes, but still loves his job and is extremely loyal to Stan.
Robbie was almost exactly the same, parents’ backstory and all, but there’s an interesting note that he occasionally clashed with Gideon in this version (which we never got in the final show)
Speaking of which, Gideon’s last name in this version was Garrymore instead of Gleeful.
Gideon used to personally harass and prank Stan, going out of his way to vandalize Stan’s stuff himself.
Manly Dan was always planned to be Wendy’s dad. In this version, he hates the idea that his hipster daughter prefers conserving the environment instead of chopping down forests
(For those who wanted more Wendy episodes, I’m surprised Hirsch didn’t use this as a conflict for one of them- it makes her interesting without costing any of her “coolness”)
Sheriff Blubs was originally Sheriff “Blumps”. Durland has the same name likely because Hirsch said he’s named after a real guy.
With no Ford and no Journal mentioned, episodes were originally very different-
“The President’s Cabinet/Irrational Treasure.” Instead of via the journal, Dipper and Mabel find a record of Quentin Trembley in a box buried in the yard. No Pacifica mentioned here.
“Secret Dungeon” Dipper becomes obsessed with a recalled arcade cabinet. Mabel must try and save him by finding the original high scorer.
“Thtupid Thursday” One of the many ‘Shining Twins’ episode concepts Hirsch wanted to do. Dipper and Mabel learn ‘twin telepathy’ from some creepy twins, and soon regret it.
“Periodic Mabel” Mabel invents her own element for the science fair and Dipper is jealous.
“Only the Clonely/Boyz Crazy” The exact same episode just without Candy and Grenda. Sev’ral Timez is called “ReelBoyzzz” in this version.
“Big Dipper” With surprisingly no tie to Little Dipper, Dipper asks a fortune teller to make him older so he can win Wendy over. But she makes him 22, so he and Mabel have to undo the spell.
“Sweater off Dead” Mabel buys an antique sweater and is possessed by the soul of the granny who last wore it. Stan is terrified by the spirit because she reminds him of his ex-wife Marilyn (Deep Edalyn Clawthorne lore???) so Dipper must “Swexorcize” his sister and save her.
“Teed Off/The Golf War” With no Pacifica, this was originally a Dipper vs Gideon episode- No Lilliputtians, either. Instead, the 13th hole is cursed and traps the cast in a time loop.
Now, changes from the Production Pitch (I’m guessing for when the show was already greenlit and this was a way to brief crew members on what the show would 100% be about)
Stan’s secret (likely the portal) and the journal are now set in stone.
Emphasis on continuity and character development. Nothing gets “reset” by next episode. All plot developments are permanent.
All character names and designs are locked in. Pacifica has now been added, as well as Waddles, Gompers, Lazy Susan, Candy and Grenda, and McGucket (No mention or hint at his past here)
Interesting to note is that there is still zero outright mention of Ford and Bill in this version, even though multiple episodes were seemingly in production at this point.
Manly Dan’s conflict with Wendy from the original pitch is still here. Making it even more mindblowing that we never got it in the show
Blubs and Durland are described as a little more playful instead of mean like in the original pitch.
All episode examples made it into the show with no changes this time. They are Tourist Trapped, Legend of the Gobblewonker, Fight Fighters, Boyz Crazy, and The Land Before Swine.

Hard Light | Chapter 1
summary: when a new english professor begins teaching your class for the duration of your semester, you can’t help but develop an innocent crush on him. he’s as off-limits as he can be, but that doesn’t deter you in the slightest. after a drunk night, you accidentally email him something that wasn’t intended to ever be seen by anyone. but that doesn’t matter. it triggers a misunderstanding that manifests into an affair with your professor who is twenty years your senior. nothing good could come of this, right?
pairings: professor!joel x college student!reader
word count: 2.2K
series or one-shot
warnings: 18+ explicit, minors DNI, no mention of Y/N, alternate universe, professor/student relationship, eventual smut, self-esteem issues, workaholic, joel x female!reader, infatuation bordering on obsession (stay delulu friends), some sexual thoughts, masturbation (f), joel being a huge tease lol, (will add more tags as i write)
AN: i am so excited by the response that my joel one-shot got a few days ago and i’ve been itching to get something else out to you all. big, giant forehead kisses for those who want one, i love you all. so, anyway, a mini-series about professor joel is coming at you fast. i’ve written the first few chapters, so expect those in the near future. i’m thinking once a week? this fic is going to be something else and i’m so excited to share it with ya’ll. enjoy, and let me know what you think. find my ao3 here for more content and other fandoms.
You were running late for your shift at the coffee shop on campus, rummaging around your dresser, trying to find the low-cut black top you always wore when you had a shift. You weren’t usually one to feed into the peer pressure of those around you, but push came to shove when you found it nearly impossible to keep yourself afloat as a twenty-something student without the added extra tips from your part-time job.
So what if you had to show a little bit of cleavage? Right? There was no harm. Student loans were a bitch and on top of rent and food costs, you had to get a job at the coffee shop and balance a full course load just to make ends meet.
A thought popped into your head and you rushed to your laptop, throwing it open as you checked the time; 5:45 AM. If you busted out your lightning-fast typing skills, you would have enough time to catch the next bus and make it to campus with five minutes to spare. If only your crappy second-hand computer would work.
The thing honestly sounded like a chopper engine, getting ready for lift-off. You were surprised you’d gotten this far with it. Not that you weren’t appreciative, your older brother had passed it down and it had relieved a huge weight— and expense off of your shoulders.
You tabbed into your school portal, typing in your credentials and selecting your English course. You sighed heavily, as you skimmed over the assignment for this week, something to do with a sonnet that you couldn’t care less about. You loved school but ever since becoming an English major, the spark that you once had for literature sort of just evaporated.
You couldn’t tell if it was because of how busy you were with everything else that you just couldn’t find the time to enjoy it, or the thought that really scared you, you had fallen out of love with it.
It had been two years of go, go, go and you were, for lack of a better word, burnt out. You’d tried dropping courses last semester, thinking that you just needed a little bit of ease when it came to your course load, but when that didn’t solve the problem and only made things worse for you, you spent the last two semesters trying to catch up and get yourself to a place where you could finally breathe.
But it wasn’t easy. You were only now caught up to where you had been, the illusion that you were someone who could afford to take time off and slow down was a distant memory.
In bold letters, the words Paid Internship jumped off of the screen. You smiled as you leaned in closer to the screen, making sure you read through everything correctly. This was the break above the surface that you needed, the reprieve that you had been chasing. A paid internship was exactly how you’d be able to make more money and maybe have a little breathing room before you worked yourself into an early grave.
You clicked the mail icon at the top and clicked into a new email, deciding that the worst-case scenario was that you wouldn’t get the internship. All you were doing was inquiring about the application process. Best-case scenario; you’d get it and make some extra pocket money.
You saw the time, cursing under your breath as you slammed the laptop closed, grabbed your phone out of the charger and ran out of the door. You couldn’t be late, not again. You texted your co-worker Jeremy to open the shop without you and explained to him that you were running a few minutes late, as you barely made it to the bus. You climbed on board, scanned your student pass and found a seat near the back. Your chest was burning from the rush of trying to make it on time, but you could breathe easy now.
You checked your messages mindlessly, scrolling through a bunch of unread ones that you didn’t have the heart to answer.
Before you knew it, the familiar monuments and buildings of UT Austin came into view, and the subtle change of scenery from downtown to a more densely packed area made your heart skip a beat. It was the same each time you were back on campus. Which, these days, was often. Sliding out of the seat, you made your way to the front, thanking the driver as the bus came to a complete stop.
The coffee shop was only a short walk from the bus stop but even still you quickened your pace. You didn't want to leave Jeremy alone for long, you already felt bad enough about letting him open by himself. You stifled a yawn as you pushed open the door to the small cafe, leaning your body into the door, slightly cringing at the shrill sound of the bell.
"There you are", a male voice called, making your head snap up. You wiggled your nose, the familiar timbre of your ex-boyfriend's voice ringing in your ears. "It's about time you got your ass down here".
You snickered, shrugging your heavy bag off of your shoulder, and dropping it behind the counter, turning around and greeting him with an unamused smirk.
Jeremy and you had gone out for a few months last year, it was your first and, as of right now, the only short-term relationship that you'd had in college.
Dating your co-worker, even in a relatively small place like the coffee shop on campus, almost always spelled trouble, but Jeremy was not the type to hold something like a failed relationship over your head. He understood that school was a priority for you and making a living for yourself came first, even above something like a relationship. It might not be the healthiest way to live, but it was how it always was.
Jeremy and you had developed a fast friendship, one that went beyond the romantic relationship that you'd had last year. You parted amicably and now, you had someone you could confide in, someone you could trust.
"Why don't you say that to my face?", you teased, raising a brow at him over the milk frother you were setting up.
Jeremy threw his rag down and stalked over to you. "You're snippy this morning", he chided.
You banged into his shoulder playfully, "Doesn't help that I have to see your ugly mug first thing in the morning".
You snorted out a laugh and Jeremy looked at you, feigning defensiveness, "Ouch", he paused, returning back to his post near the coffee machine, "Remind me how we ever went out?".
You scrunched your nose and threw your rag at Jeremy, hitting him square in the face with it, "That was rude".
He shrugged his shoulder, "You started it".
You both devolved into a fit of giggles and fell into a comfortable silence, setting up and getting the coffee shop ready for the day. You had a half-day shift to look forward to and then you had class until the late afternoon. The days were long and the nights were longer.
You usually found yourself nose-deep in your textbooks, more often than not, or some classic novel that was required for class, not moving from the couch until your eyes were red and you were seeing double.
Only then did you retire to sleep, crashing hard until you had to wake up and do it all again the next day.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
The coffee shop had been bustling with people since six in the morning, and at one in the afternoon, it hadn't let up, only now you had to go to class. Waving Jeremy goodbye, you sidestepped Tara, the fourth-year who was covering the rest of the afternoon and closing shift.
You'd crossed the far side of campus, passing by the science building and one of the massive libraries that had acted like a second home to you back when you’d been studying for exams when you were a freshman. You could thank your obnoxious roommates for that one.
Entering the lecture hall, bodies pressed into you as you weaved through the growing crowd, trying to find a spot in the middle where you could see and hear your English professor. But also blend in with the masses. As if the universe had other plans in mind, and everyone suddenly showed up to the Tuesday lecture all at the same time, you found yourself picking a seat near the front, an exasperated groan leaving you.
You hated sitting at the front, not because you didn't want to get called on to answer something or because you didn't know the answers, but because you did. You wanted to get through your four years as quickly and unscathed as possible and if people knew, mainly professors, that you knew more about the subject matter than you needed to, you'd surely get called on more often, making you stick out in ways you didn't want.
It was a terrible curse, going through life with the self-esteem that you did. But it was how you were raised. Blend in. Don't be too loud. Be quiet and only observe. Nerves rapped at your insides when you thought about getting called on when class started. Your heart rate ticked up and you found that your hands were beginning to get clammy, your throat constricting with each breath.
You rubbed your hands up and down your thighs, grounding yourself with the sensation of the material.
With a jump, you sat up straighter in your seat, being jostled from your thoughts by a loud slam. You snapped your head toward the entrance, eying the person who had startled everyone. It was a man carrying a briefcase.
Your lips tilted up at the edges, amusement tickling you when you thought of anyone using a briefcase nowadays. But here this man was, head down as he made his way to the front of the room, toward the desk.
You couldn't help keeping your eyes trained on him. On how his slacks tightened around his butt, moulding to the shape and curve of it. You bit your bottom lip out of reflex, your eyes dragging down the length of the mystery man who had crashed your lecture. Maybe he was a TA? Your brows furrowed when you thought about how your professor was nowhere in sight.
The man with the briefcase placed his case on the desk, turning to face the audience of students who blinked back at him, who now settled down enough to hear him speak. Air caught in your throat when his eyes flicked momentarily to you, and lingered on you for half a second longer than you'd expected. He had massive, warm brown eyes, and soft wrinkles that danced at the edges of his eyes when he smiled, making him seem more boyish than he appeared.
He looked older than a TA would but then again, who were you to judge someone's position in life? You thought that his age did nothing to undermine just how attractive he was, if anything it added to it.
The man, who may or may not have been moonlighting as your English TA cleared his throat, nodding his head, "My name is Joel, well, Professor Miller to most, but 've always been a little bit more informal than my peers".
He began to circle the wooden desk nervously, his large hand finding the edge of it and stroking it far more sensually than necessary. You flexed your fingers, gripping the arm of your seat to stabilize yourself. "So, you can call me Joel from here on out... since we'll be seeing more of each other from now on".
Murmurs began to break out around the lecture hall, and confused and hushed whispers followed.
Professor Miller— Joel, mumbled something incoherent, and you were unable to hear it from where you sat. He cleared his throat again, "Professor McCarthy has taken a leave of absence, so I'll be filling in for him for the remainder of the semester".
You crossed your legs, feeling heat rise and a furious blush break out across your face, and shuffled in your seat, a loud creak emitted from it and you stilled, praying that the loud sound had only been heard by you and no one else. But when you lifted your gaze, Joel's eyes were already locked on you, blown and brimming with cautious inquiry. A touch of a smirk graced his lips.
"And I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you, personally". His eyes were still on you, not ready to release you from their hold.
His tongue darted out to wet his lips and you couldn't help but stare. You had every reason to look away from him, he was your professor and given the clear age difference, he was someone who was off limits. But when he didn't look away from you either, trapping you with his gaze, your face heated up, suddenly aware that he was purposely staring at you.
You swallowed thickly, heart hammering as Joel's eyes finally drifted away from you and back to the faces of your classmates. He continued on with addressing the class, and you noticed that he avoided your eyes for the rest of the lecture.
Only one thought rang through your mind as you tried and failed to focus back on the lecture. This was going to be one long semester.

I have health insurance but it's a new development and I don't yet have a healthcare card. How does one make an appointment with a doctor or dentist when you don't know how to find the info you need to give them? What questions do doctors usually ask when you are trying to apply your insurance to help cover the costs?
You have a couple of options. The first is that you can call a doctor's office, say you just got new insurance and your card will be coming soon, and that you'll bring it to the appointment. Since new patient appointments can be months out, it will probably give you time to receive your card.
If you need to be seen sooner (like at an urgent care or the emergency department) or your doctor won't schedule you without it, you can call the insurance company or your HR department (if you got the insurance through your job) and ask for your Member ID and your Plan ID (some insurances call these things different names, but they'll know what you're talking about). While you're on the phone, ask for your Rx BIN. This is the number that you will need if you need to pick up a prescription.
Sometimes, if you're lucky, you can find this information online too. Insurance companies often have member portals. You will likely need whatever paperwork or email came with your insurance sign up to make an account, but there may be the option to look at and print out your cards directly from the website.
Good luck!

Anyone up for hearing my theories on who and when and how the portals in Dndads can kind of make sense maybe?
Well, start of the season, Sparrow, Lark, Grant, and Terry clearly can't portal between realms. My theory is that they kinda depended on Nick, Glenn, and Jodie for that sort of thing pre-betrayal. But this inability to portal is how they get stuck on Earth and the teens need to save them. However, we do see them using portal guns and whatever later, so what happens?
Now at the start we don't see portalling between the two realms until Nick shows up, but we do see the FBI create a portal into Taylor's room, and we see the mayor have the ability to portal around the Forgotten Realms when she appears under Taylor's bed (later we get the conformation when they visit city hall, but we're not really there yet.) The point is though, these two entities are clearly limited to the plane their already on at this point. The FBI might be looking for a way into Hell, but they don't have it yet.
Now...should Sparrow have Plane Shift when they go to earth? Yes. But I'm going to say that either the kiddads got split up and he didn't want to abandon Grant and Terry, OR somehow he got really unlucky and "How to cast plane shift" was a memory that got stolen or wiped away by Doodler aura almost immediately. It's not too egregious.
Once everyone gets back from Earth, the next portal usage we see is Nick coming out of Hell to kick Willy's ass, and the next thing we know, the FBI has found their way into Hell. I theorize that, since Agent Shmegan basically told Taylor he'd be following to see when Nick showed back up, that Nick got caught by the FBI at this point, and they managed to create their tool to cross through to different planes, and since they already had the tech to portal around one plane, it's not a stretch to think they could apply it in such a way that it could go between realms.
Now, who is in cahoots with the FBI? Willy. Him helping them get Nick probably actually made that easier actually. So now Willy has portal guns developed by the FBI. He doesn't need them himself, but once he gets the collars on the kiddads, he needs them to have a way to easily get through the realms so that they can do their jobs and hands them off.
In regards to Nick, my thoughts are that whatever demons use to make portals requires somatic components so having all his limbs cut off ruined that (and I know I said maybe portals don't cost spell slots for Demons) but I wonder if while he was hanging around the ISS, he just thought if he couldn't use the spell, why bother prepping it, and replaced it with something else, but then forgot to re-prep it once he got his limbs back.
The only thing I don't really have an explanation for is why Lark can summon the cat bus via whistle. But I also think I've just thought about this for more than I already should have, so...I can just let that one go. Like...maybe the catbus has a portal connection that's whistle based, I dunno. OH!!!! THAT'S IT!!! Maybe like the bracelet that was set to open the portal from Taylor's room to the FBI base, he has a bracelet that opens a portal from the cat bus to wherever he is when he whistles!

Well... I guess it's time for me to be serious. This marks the seven year anniversary of my dad passing away. I still remember the date.
February 11, 2018. I was in my dad's room, watching videos on YouTube and playing Sonic Dash on my tablet. With zero explanation, at 4:30, I lost complete interest in what I was doing. It was raining. My mom came home that night and told me the bad news. That night, I said goodbye to my dad for the last time.
We had his memorial gathering on his birthday. It was supposed to be his sixtieth birthday. A lot of people came to see my family, including the kind of family I don't like giving attention to.
Enough pity on the past!
Why don't you show how you grew as a person? I know you miss your dad, but show what happened afterwards!
Okay then.
2018: Dad died. The beginning of my development of personality started here. After my dad died, I only took one day off from school. I had prom on my 18th birthday and was the only time I pulled a complete all nighter due to attending prom and post prom. I graduated high school that year with cum laude. I start college living on campus that fall. And let me tell you, it's not 100% like the movies. I was on the Cheer team and accidentally discovered my love for horror, playing a bunch of FNAF. I start playing Sonic games, discovering that I actually loved Sonic. Yes, I wrote fanfiction at 16, but it was cringe and trauma dumping at its finest.
2019: I befriend the class snitch (big mistake), got gaslit by both the head of the special needs program along with the class snitch. Ended up alone. Had a mental breakdown that resulted in me getting suspended indefinitely (not proud of myself). Slowly figured out that I wasn't exactly straight.
2020: Remember that suspension from 2019? Well, it cost me a scholarship but it is a blessing in disguise... Because while I was suspended, I was not allowed on campus. And we all know what happened in March of that year. I completely avoided a tactical nuke because of my suspension. It turned out, my old college had a big outbreak of COVID. I honestly enjoyed the first part of COVID because it was quiet and no overstimulating activity happened outside. Got myself a temporary job at a gym as a custodian. It was nasty but the people there liked me. I completed Portal 2. And I attended a Halloween wedding that year. I dressed as a plague doctor for the XDs. That was fun. And I start writing on Wattpad.
2021: Uh... I'm not talking about what transpired here. But long story short, if you are drinking alcohol, GO SLOWLY. You'll thank me later. And that was when I learned of Poppy Playtime. I thought it was an April Fools prank by Zamination. It wasn't. Had fun playing it. And I start college in a community college. I decided to try Archive of Our Own as an outlet for my much darker stories.
2022: I kept getting misgendered online. So I started using they/them because of the obvious mistake. So now I figured out I'm pansexual and nonbinary.
2023: I entered the Billie Bust Up fandom because I found a short on YouTube, specifically one of Barnaby. Got curious. Fell in love with the game. Rest is history. Started a cosplay on Barnaby. Taught myself how to stim discreetly. (Yes, I borrowed Fantoccio's face pat stim)
Now, here we are. 2024. I wonder how much I would grow.

Volume 9 Rewrite Idea, I Guess? (Part 1)
This isn't really a rewrite per se, but just an idea I had to improve Volume 9 a bit.
What if, instead of reuniting the girls anticlimactically in the first episode, they're separated for about half of the volume? The Volume already established that the Ever After has a mind of its own, kind of.
What if the Ever After keeps RWBY separated on purpose? Not for any malicious reasons, but because it acts as a sort of Sink-or-Swim mentor? It "senses" that the girls need to take a good look at themselves. Over their past adventures, they've become intensely self-righteous and stunted in their emotional development, keeping them from being the heroes they could be. And them just constantly affirming to each other that they haven't done anything wrong isn't helping. So the Ever After prevents them from reuniting at first. Before it allows them to find each other again, they'll first have to actually work through their issues, actually acknowledge their mistakes and grow.
(Also, because this volume is supposed to be RWBY-focused, Jaune actually makes it out of the portal realm and doesn't fall.)
(You can find part 2 here.)
And to support them in that endeavor, the Ever After "gives" them companions in the form of its natives, who will sort of lead them toward that conclusion. Think the Train Denizens in Infinity Train.
Ruby is paired up with Little, an idealistic mouse who grew up in a harsh environment, in a society that was centered around survival. Despite having been dealt such a bad hand in life, Little remains optimistic and continues to see the good and wondrous in their homeland. In fact, it's their dream to travel the land and see things no mouse ever had before, which makes them sort of an outlier in their gruff and hardened village. Ruby, seeing some of her old self in Little, begrudgingly decides to grant their request to join her. As their journey goes on, Ruby finds herself growing more and more annoyed with Little's perpetual cheerfulness and (as she sees it) naiveté. Eventually, Ruby snaps at Little, telling them that the world isn't as wondrous as they think. The real world is cruel and cold and all it does is take. Much to her surprise, her outburst doesn't push Little away. Instead, Little just looks at her funny for a few seconds, then asks: "Did it take... something from you?" And that finally gets Ruby to break out of her repression and burst into tears. She vents to Little about everything that happened to her and how she tries so hard to help, but only ever seems to make things worse. Little is unsure of what to say, so they just sit by Ruby's side to provide her a metaphorical shoulder to cry on and get it all out. Little then says that they don't one hundred percent understand everything Ruby's been telling them, but it does sound like Ruby was "trying to be big". Ruby is confused by Little's choice of words, and Little explains that when they were a young child, they once attempted to harvest a huge piece of cheese all by themselves. But by that point they weren't tall or strong enough to get it out on their own and instead ended up tearing the cheese apart and hurting themself. Costing their village valuable food and some additional hands. The village leader scolded them for trying to do a job for grown-ups, "trying to be big". Ruby begins to understand what Little is getting at. She thought that she could handle the whole Salem-thing her way and that it was somehow her responsibility, when it really wasn't. She might be a Huntress, but she's still a child, who was only recently informed about Ozpin's and Salem's secret war. No one should expect, let alone ask her to just take over and miraculously solve a conflict that other adults, like Summer, Qrow, Ironwood and Ozpin, have struggled with for years. Including herself. Because she tried to tackle a problem that was just too big for her and, really, the entirety of Team RWBY, by stubbornly forcing everyone to go along with her plan and her plan alone, Atlas ended up paying for it and the staff and lamp might or might not be in Cinder's and therefor Salem's hands. Being able to lay out her issues this way helps Ruby a bit with working through them. She apologizes to Little for snapping at them and just assuming she knew better than them, even making a tiny self-deprecating joke that she seems to be doing that a lot lately. Little accepts the apology with a smile. Ruby then resolves that, once she finds the rest of her team and they return to Remnant, she'll make an effort to actually share the burden, so that something like Atlas will never happen again.
Weiss is paired up with the Curious Cat, a mysterious feline whose favorite hobby is asking a billion questions at once. Weiss quickly gets impatient with how easily distracted the Cat is, but since they're her only chance to find her way around the Ever After, Weiss deicdes to humor them, if only reluctantly. As they travel, the Cat asks a dozen questions about Remnant and Weiss herself, all of which Weiss answers rather unenthusiastically. Somehow the conversation shifts to Atlas, which dampens Weiss' mood even more. It gets worse when the topic of family comes up and the Cat, being really fond of dramatic stories, demands to know all about Weiss' different family members. This finally causes Weiss to snap, yelling at the Cat that this isn't important. The Cat innocently asks: "Family isn't important? Huh. I had quite the different impression." This causes Weiss to stop in her tracks, realizing what she just said, if unintentionally. She tries to backpedal that of course family is important. The Cat says "But just now, you said they were not." Weiss: "No, I didn't mean--! Not them, I just--" She sighs, slumping a little. She tells the Cat that things between her and her family are complicated, but of course that doesn't mean that Weiss doesn't care about them. She begins to talk about them, starting with her admiration for her big sister Winter and her grandfather Nicholas. She begins to stumble when talking about Willow and Whitley and finally goes quiet when mentioning Jacques. The Cat picks up on her discomfort and asks what's wrong. Weiss, after some hesitation, tells the Cat that her father was not a good man. He was arrogant and thought himself above others. He would discard anyone he couldn't use and just assume he knew what was best for the Schnee family. The Curious Cat agrees that Jacques sounds like a thoroughly unpleasant man. Then their face scrunches up in confusion and they ask: "Though there is one thing I'm.. curious about. If you dislike this man so much, why do you imitate him?" Weiss is baffled by this statement. Flustered, she tells the Cat that she is nothing like Jacques. She left her family and became a Huntress specifically so she'd never become the kind of person Jacques was and to repair the damage his actions have done to the Schnee family name. The Curious Cat points out, not unfriendly, that every negative trait of Jacques' Weiss has pointed out, she has herself demonstrated during their travel. She was rude and callous to them, until she realized the Cat could help her find her way. She acted like answering the Cat's questions was a nuisance and beneath her. And just a few minutes ago, she was yelling about how family was not important right now. And when she talked about Whitley and Willow, she was dismissive and almost apathetic, like the two of them didn't really matter. Weiss' face becomes more and more horrified as the Cat talks. She realizes the Cat is completely right. In her desperate effort to distance herself from her father, she not only pushed the rest of her family away too, she also adopted more and more of his mindset, without even realizing it. Weiss is at a loss for a long moment. Here she thought she'd left her Ice Queen days behind her, but really, she hasn't changed at all. When she tells the Curious Cat as much, the Cat simply tells her: "So change now. Times change and so do we when it's time for us to change. Don't you?" Weiss gives the Cat a smile and agrees. They continue walking and Weiss asks the cat if there is anything else they want to know.

Ongoing Maintenance
Remember to take note of the ongoing costs For continued TAN app support and updates, an ongoing budgetary outlay will be needed. Plan to spend soft costs of at least 15-20% of the total hard costs a year on just the upkeep and improvements.
Conclusion: The Investment Pays Off

The features you choose and how you approach development will directly impact user satisfaction and overall success. Qatar’s entrepreneurial environment is thriving, and recent government measures have made it easier than ever to turn business dreams into reality. At Excel Consultants LLC & Partners, we’re dedicated to helping businesses of all sizes flourish. From feasibility studies to license applications, we provide comprehensive support to ease your journey into Qatar’s booming market.
Why Start a Home-Based Business in Qatar?
Starting a business often requires significant investment in office space and infrastructure, which can deter potential entrepreneurs. Qatar’s home-based business initiative reduces these barriers, allowing individuals to operate legally from home with minimal financial risk. By removing the need for a commercial space, the initiative makes entrepreneurship accessible and affordable.
This policy aligns with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, encouraging innovation, job creation, and economic diversity. Whether you’re a freelancer, a parent, or someone seeking a secondary income stream, a home-based business offers a valuable opportunity to test your ideas, grow your client base, and develop a profitable enterprise.
Popular Home-Based Business Activities
Under the MoCI’s recent regulations, several activities can be conducted from home, including:
Culinary Services: Preparing Arabic sweets, pastries, or special event catering.
Tailoring & Sewing: Specializing in embroidery, dressmaking, or traditional attire.
Website Design & Development: Ideal for freelance tech professionals.
Perfume & Bukhoor Creation: Crafting fragrances with local appeal.
Cosmetic Creation: Producing beauty products tailored for local preferences.
Photography & Gift Wrapping: For those with creative talents and aesthetics.
Software Maintenance: Providing remote tech support.
These businesses require minimal equipment, leveraging skills that can be easily developed and expanded.
Requirements to Start a Home-Based Business in Qatar
Getting started with a home-based business involves meeting a few basic requirements:
Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Residence Requirement: The business must operate from the owner’s home.
License Fee: A QAR 1,020 fee applies.
Local Workforce Only: External workers from outside Qatar cannot be hired.
Direct Sales: Products or services should be sold directly to end customers.
Applications can be made through the MoCI’s Single Window platform, a user-friendly service for new licenses and renewals.

Log into the Investor Service portal.
Select “Application for Home License” under Commercial Licenses.
