I found a new type of unapplyable job listing today. This one gives you this pop up and prevents you from applying regardless of what email you use

Believe me I tried multiple different emails

Filling out this stupid employment record form as part of my job application and it’s actually pissing me the fuck off. It asks for everything from the last 7 years and also specifies that my resume should not be treated as a substitute for filling out the form. So I have to be detailed in describing all the job/volunteer shit I’ve done SINCE 2017

This is such fucking bullshit. I just graduated from college so between now and 2017 I have had nine different jobs (if you include my leadership roles in various organizations). It has been over an hour since I started writing everything out and I’m only halfway done

Wait can you list volunteer experience in the 'work history' section of applications (not resume, the application part that makes you repeat your resume info) if you don't have employment history??

when you send your application might just be super important

i think i might be settjng myself up for failure when I send apps on like...Sunday afternoon, because then they are likely lost in the suffle

But this morning, on this hot, depressing Tuesday morning & a little around lunchtime I slammed out about a dozen applications to things I was vaguely interested in, and a few I was really interested in. So far I've counted 3 people who reached out to me (1 of whom asked for a questionnaire filled out while at work & those tend to be fucked on mobile so I was going to take it after I was home and then 4 hours later she emailed again to reject me....like cool.....thanks.... what the fuck that that)

and usually I go a long time without anything, like I just was at an incredibly low point this morning. I guess sending out job applications is becoming a coping mechanism for me. huh.

i just spent four-and-a-half hours on job searching and i found one that is extremely promising that i'm perfectly qualified for that has the potential for a pay bump

i wanted to get the application submitted today but my brain is fried...i need a break. maybe i'll get it submitted after dinner. i'm so close, you guys!!

I GOT A JOB OFFER!!! 

It’s only verbal and I haven’t seen the letter yet but I did get the email asking me to submit for a background check so your girl might rejoin the group of gainfully employed people!

New flavor of imposter syndrome unlocked: Feeling like you somehow were acting like you cared about people after you spent the entire interview going on unnecessary tangents about how children deserve all of the respect and resources they need to do well in school and life and the interviewers caught wind of it.
