"Can you play?" JJ asked, holding the guitar up.
"You mean you haven't heard him play?" Aden asked with a grin, "Well now he just needs to play," Aden turned to you with a grin.
"Aden, she doesn't want to hear me-"
"Go on then!" JJ turned to you with a grin, placing the guitar in your hands.
You looked at her for a moment before nodding slightly, "Okay, okay fine..." You looked down at the guitar before you look back up, "Any some requests?"
JJ rolled her eyes, "Um... How about Taylor Swift?" She teased, jaw dropped slightly when you nodded. "Wait seriously? You know how to play Taylor Swift songs?"
"Obviously." You answered.
"He's such a Swiftie it hurts," Aden snorted.
You rolled your eyes at him as you got comfortable, holding the base of the guitar on your thigh, you left hand gently holding the neck.
"Now I don't play for just anyone, so yall should feel blessed, a'right?"
JJ rolls her eyes, "Stop stalling,"
"Ma'am I would never. But I feel like this is probably a good place to discuss this-"
"Play the damn thing!" Aden groans.
"Hey, hey, kid, what happened to respectin' your elders?"
"I'm about to become an elder if you don't hurry up," He snaps and you struggle to maintain a straight face.
Naturally, you began to play Love Story (since it was one of the best Taylor Swift songs to date - no further comments). You don't look up - not wanting to see your brother's shit eating grin or JJ's facial expressions. You didn't want to know whether or not she liked it until you had finished playing, otherwise it would put you off.
When the song's finished, you look back at the pair of them, slightly sheepish.
"Wow, you're really good..." JJ said with a smile.
"She's being nice, you're actually shit." Aden chimed.
You snort slightly, "Hilarious. Watch your language, and go do your homework."
"You only want me to go so you can kiss your girlfriend," Aden chimes, grinning when both you and JJ flush. "God, you're like a pair of teenagers!"
"Sorry 'bout him,"
"I hope he was right though..." She said with a small smile.
"Miss Jareau, how scandalous," You grin, leaning in.

Hi JJ :] could I make a request for a din x reader fic? It’s just dancing with him (I have a feeling that you’re a swiftie so I’m gonna say inspired by dancing with our hands tied)
anyway thank you for considering this! Love you very much :]
[a/n: lolol spot on, my friend. I am in fact a swiftie and i forgot how much i loved this song until i re-listened to it. it's technically not just dancing, i got carried away as i always do, but dancing does happen so....]
Mandalor!Din Djarin x Royal Female!Reader
Warnings: mentions of sexual history, so smut adjacent?, arranged marriage, technically cheating b/c reader is engaged (but she's never even met the dude so does it even really count?)
Word Count: 1,885
Summary: Your love came with an expiration date. Doomed to fail from the second you met him.
Tumblr media
DEEP BLUE, BUT YOU PAINTED ME GOLDEN
"I'd kiss you as the lights went out, swaying as the room burned down. I'd hold you as the water rushes in, if I could dance with you again." ⏤ Dancing With Our Hands Tied (Taylor Swift)
Your world ended the moment you met Din Djarin.
For all of your life, you were the perfect royal daughter. You followed the rules, wrapped around you like chains, with no struggle. Picture perfect and sinless. Raised to be a representation of your kingdom and a political token to be bartered. It was all you had known, and you never complained. You loved your parents, your family, your people, and if being tied to a stranger in marriage helped them in some way you would do it.
You never questioned that sacrifice. Not until a meeting, held by your father, brought together rulers from all the neighboring worlds in hopes to unify and create alliances. When the Mandalor walked in, you felt a shift in your very soul. There was no logical reason why. He was decked, head to toe, in brilliant beskar armor⏤ a thick, red robe hanging off one shoulder. His presence alone had changed everything, and when your father made introductions and you heard Mandalor Din Djarin speak your name in his low, modulated voice, you knew nothing would be the same again. You learned that night that he felt the same pull you did. Involuntary and irresistible.
Din Djarin woke you from a slumber you didn’t know you existed in. Your life had been shades of gray and blue for so long that it seemed to be all you were capable of. Someone who had never seen the sun would never miss or crave the light. But, he painted your world in color. Red shades of passion, golden shades of pleasure, and cool beskar silver.
The two of you took every opportunity and more to see one another. Nobody in either of your lives suspected anything. You were an obedient, royal daughter betrothed to a prince, and Din was the well respected Mandalor who would find a riddur in another Mandalorian. In their eyes, nothing would ever come from that beyond friendship and a strong alliance between your worlds. However, when their eyes looked away, behind closed doors, those lines were blurred. The lines didn’t even exist.
It was hard to find the sin in this relationship when Din had his head buried between your legs. There wasn’t an ounce of regret in your soul every time you laid in the dark listening to Din’s deep, hoarse voice murmur and grunt praises in your ear as he drove his cock overwhelmingly deep into you. The warmth of his tongue on your skin, the taste of his cum lingering in your mouth, the feel of his strong hands exploring every inch of you⏤ it was a pleasure you hadn’t thought possible in the life destined for you. The only time guilt seeped into you was when the passion slowed down. When you laid on your belly, bare, as Din’s heavy and hot body laid on top of you with his uncovered face buried in the crook of your neck. Din would wrap his arms around you lovingly and whisper about a future the two of you could never have. A home with land on a quiet, nondescript world where neither of you had to hide your love and a family could be started. It was a life you didn’t know you wanted until you met Din. For the first time in your life, you wanted something and the guilt of that desire ate you alive.
This dance continued for nearly a year before your lives dragged you apart.
It was time for you to meet your fiance and move forward with your engagement. Saying goodbye to Din was heart wrenching. What hurt the most was that it was a goodbye neither of you truly wanted. It was responsibility to the worlds you came from that pulled you apart. Leaving one another felt like fighting gravity itself.
“My daughter, smile.” Your mother cooed as she reached out to readjust the mask covering your upper face. It matched the gown you currently wore. When your engagement party was planned, multiple themes were offered to you and you passively went with whatever your parents thought was best. Which turned out to be a Masquerade. Not that it mattered. No party would lift your spirits. “What’s wrong?”
“I guess I’m just nervous to meet the prince.” You replied simply. The party was in full swing and your fiance would be here any minute now. A hiccup in his travel plans made him late, but not late enough to cancel the party unfortunately. It was still in full swing with a mass of masked people dancing happily.
Your mother chuckled and cupped your face, “Don’t be nervous. The prince will be a good match for you. We made sure to pick someone kind and fair. Someone who will be good to you.”
You forced a tight lipped smile and nodded. Your parents were good people, and you had no doubt they picked a man who they thought would be best for you. But, how well did your parents really know you these days? You weren’t the woman you were this time last year. You wondered if you could ever be her again. It was unlikely.
After your mother wandered away, you drifted through the room speaking to those who greeted you first. Playing the role you were born to play. Mid way through the room a hand wrapped around your wrist and you didn’t even need to turn around to know who it was. You had the feel of Din’s palm on your skin memorized. An ache overcame you at the touch, and you bit down on your lower lip⏤ refusing to turn around. He drifted closer, hovering dangerously close while in public like this, and you shook your head. “Mandalor, you can’t be here.”
You hoped using his title would make addressing him easier. It didn’t help.
Din leaned down and spoke, his voice unmodulated but muted, “I am not the Mandalor, ka’ra’ika.”
Curious, you finally turned and your eyes widened to see Din was not dressed in his beskar. His broad frame was dressed in a simple suit, nothing to make him stand out in a crowd, and his face was covered with a full face mask. His eyes hidden behind a line of dark glass and the rest painted in shades of black and white. “What are…” You paused in shock. Din’s loose, dark curls peeked around his mask and even with confusion swirling all about, your mind involuntarily memorized the color. It was a habit. Every single detail you were given about the man in front of you was tucked away like a well hidden secret. “Why are you here?”
“Dance with me?” Din asked in a voice that was borderline pleading. “Please?”
You nodded once and let him drag you slowly toward where the other bodies danced in an organized crowd. Din pulled you in close so the two of you could sway. You rested one hand on his shoulder while he held your other. It took every ounce of self control in your body to not lift your hand and rake your fingers through his hair. Din spun you around the dance floor, and a slow smile graced your lips for the first time all night. Din brought with him a glow. Being with him just seemed to brighten your world. Din lifted his arm to spin you⏤ your dress flared out around you, and a laugh bubbled out of your lungs. You heard his deep chuckle before he dipped you low. When he brought you back up, you were flush with his chest and your hands rested there. His heartbeat under your palm grounded you, but with it came guilt and the painful reminder that this was fleeting.
“My fiance will be here soon, Din.” You murmured. “You’re only making this harder.”
“I can’t walk away from this. From you.”
You shook your head, hands grasping the lapels of his suit, “We were doomed from the start. We knew that.” Your eyes burned with unshed tears. “With our beginning came an end date. And we’ve… we’ve reached it.”
“No.” Din’s hands slid down to grip your hips as he pulled you in closer. You sucked in a sharp breath. This wasn’t proper. “We’ve been living by rules set by our responsibilities and by outside factors when we should be the ones to decide. We should get to choose who we love.”
You swallowed the lump in your throat. “Don’t. Don’t say it.” Now, it was you pleading. The two of you never used that word. You felt it, it changed you, but admitting it out loud would be too real for something destined to end. So you both agreed to leave it an unspoken truth. A phrase only whispered when the other wasn’t listening. “Din, please…”
“I have a… a proposition.” Din said. “I’ve made my choice, but now I want you to make yours.”
“What do you mean?”
Din leaned in close, “We can run, ka’ra’ika. This doesn’t have to be the end of our story. It can be a new beginning.”
“Din, we can’t.” You shook your head. “You’re Mandalor⏤”
“No. I’m not. I’ve renounced the title.” Din admitted. Your eyes widened and your jaw popped open to question him, but no words left your lips. “I’ve passed it on.”
“Why would you…” You gasped. “Din, you don’t even know what my choice will be.”
“That’s alright. I made my choice on my own accord.”
“What if I say no? Then what, Din? You gave up your title⏤”
“If you say no,” Din began, “Which you are well within your rights to do, then giving up my title was simply the price to pay.” You furrowed your brow and you could hear the soft smile in his voice. “The price to pay for one last moment with you.”
The lights suddenly went out and you jumped in surprise. One of Din’s hands left your waist and seconds later Din’s lips were at your ears. It was then you realized this cover of darkness was not accidental, it came at the hands of the man holding you.
“If you send me away, I’ll never bother you again, I give you my word.” Din whispered in your ear and the sound alone made your eyes flutter close. A soft breath leaving your lips. “But I would regret it for the rest of my life, if I didn’t tell you how much I love you.” You felt tears collecting in the corner of your eyes. Hearing those words in his voice, just like when you first heard him speak your name, caused a shift in your soul. Din pressed his lips to a spot on your neck right below your ear. “If I didn’t beg you for one last kiss.”
Without hesitation, you dug your hands into his hair and pulled his lips to yours. It was muscle memory. You knew the taste of him and you welcomed it. His warm hand gripped the back of your neck as his tongue licked into your mouth. You moaned and tried to pull him closer as if he wasn’t already tangled with you. The taste of your tears mingled in the kiss.
Din pulled back and let his thumb brush under the edges of your mask to swipe at the tears that leaked down your cheeks. In that moment, you whispered your truth.
"I love you."
When the lights came on, there were two less bodies in the mass of confused dancers, and the expensive and delicate mask of the royal daughter laid on the ballroom floor⏤ carelessly tossed aside.

Hi! I got a matchup from u before and loved it! I was wondering if I could get another one for harry potter and outerbanks? Ty!
I'm a female and a scorpio! I'm straight and use she/her pronouns. I'm 5'3 with long blonde and blue hair and blue eyes. My love language is quality time. Im am fine with any gender. My mbti is INFP. I am quite shy when u first get to know me, but once I'm out of my shell I am loud and always making jokes. I'm considered the funny friend, slight people pleaser, and will do anything to protect my friends and family. I am also very blunt and can't help speaking my mind, even when I shouldn't. I would consider myself witty, but am lazy when it comes to academics. My main hobby is playing video games. One of the most important things to me is spending time with my dog. I love going to events especially concerts and getting dressed up for the theme. My fav genres of music are pop, indie, and alternative. I am also a massive swiftie!
Your Harry Potter match is…
Fred Weasley
Tumblr media
Fred would love having you as his partner-in-crime during his prank schemes, but he’d make sure to never cross the line when teasing you
He’d be the one to drag you away from video games for spontaneous outings, but he’d happily join you for gaming marathons when you insist
Fred would playfully steal your dog’s attention, causing lighthearted “arguments” over who the dog loves more
He’d love how you transform into the life of the party once you’re comfortable, encouraging you to come out of your shell in social situations
Fred would plan themed date nights, complete with costumes and decorations to match your love for getting dressed up for events
He’d learn all your favorite Taylor Swift songs and would belt them out (terribly) during road trips or at home
Fred would constantly compliment your quick wit, saying how much he loves how sharp and clever you are
He’d be protective of you when others try to take advantage of your people-pleasing tendencies, always having your back
Fred would leave funny little notes or doodles in your notebooks, teasing you about your academic laziness in the most endearing way
He’d take you to indie and alternative music concerts, surprising you with tickets to see your favorite artists
Your Outer Banks match is…
JJ Maybank
Tumblr media
JJ would love spending time with your dog, often bringing treats and learning all their favorite tricks
He’d constantly tease you about your gaming skills, challenging you to matches and mock-complaining when you beat him
JJ would be mesmerized by how effortlessly you dress up for events, calling you “gorgeous” even if he’s in his usual laid-back style
He’d surprise you with spontaneous outings, like a sunset boat ride or a late-night stargazing adventure
JJ would love your bluntness, always laughing at your straightforward comments and encouraging you to never hold back
He’d create playlists of your favorite pop, indie, and alternative songs for road trips, making sure every Taylor Swift hit was included
JJ would absolutely adore your laugh and would make it his life’s mission to hear it as often as possible
He’d help you relax when you’re feeling overwhelmed, suggesting a chilled day of gaming, music, and cuddling
JJ would often poke fun at your academic laziness, but secretly admire how much you focus on what truly matters—your friends, family, and passions
He’d always make you feel safe and appreciated, especially when you’re feeling shy or unsure of yourself

hiii i love your works! can i request spencer x bau!reader who drags spencer to the eras tour but they get called into a case and show up to work in like crazy outfits and get teased by the team??
Tumblr media
i LOVED writing this request. The picture above is what i envisioned when describing the outfits :) (also to whoever requested this thank you so much i love love love you!! if you have any requests send them my way!!!!!)
Pairing: Spencer x Bau!kinda femme!reader
Content warnings: None really :)
Word count: 667
Tonight was the night! You were buzzing in your seat, staring up at the stage. Your incredible boyfriend had not only gotten you tickets to the Eras tour, but also managed to get floor seats. You were holding his hand, feeling as though at any moment you would explode from sheer excitement. You look down at your outfit, a jeweled corset top and a black sequin pencil skirt. You actually find yourself at a similar height to him in your black thigh-high boots. Spencer was in an outfit you had personally orchestrated for him-a pastel pink and blue shirt (in honor of his favorite album, Lover), jeans, and his usual converse. You did also convince him to have a matching, very sparkly, 13 on his hand. Just then, the stage lights up. You both jump up in your seats. Over the years you had been dating, you managed to turn him into a certified Swiftie.
Normally, you were pretty shy. Outside of talking to victims or families on cases, you weren’t very social and tended to stay pretty quiet. But at that moment, you didn’t care how ridiculous you looked. You were seeing your all time favorite artist, with the man you loved, surrounded by thousands of other people who were just like you. You sang your heart out, even getting Spencer to dance with you during a few of the songs. It all came to a crash during ‘Style’-which really should have been a magical moment, considering it was both you and Spencer's favorite song. You have your phone out, recording the song, screaming your heart out-when you see it. A message from Hotch. Telling you that you have a case, and to get to the office immediately. Your heart drops, as well as your phone. You bend down to pick it up as Spencer registers what this really means. You look at him, completely heartbroken. He pulls you into a hug and kisses the top of your head.
“I’m so sorry” He says, having to yell over the sound of hearing your favorite song-your song-live.
You nod and try to find a way out of the crowd.
“They fucking owe me.” You tell back, grabbing his hand and making your way out of the stadium, out of what was shaping to be the best night of your life, and out to your car.
It’s not until you actually make it into the briefing room that you realize that you both look absolutely ridiculous. Not only because of your outfits-but you were both decently dissheveled from fighting your way out of the crowd. You both stand there like a deer in headlights as the whole team turns their heads. Morgan is the first one to start laughing, both you and Spencer sheepishly taking your seats. Penelope registers why you’re wearing what you’re wearing first, and her heart seems to break for you.
“Nice shirt Reid.” JJ says with a chuckle.
“Oh my goodness…you guys were at the Eras Tour?!” She exclaims, her arms dropping.
You both nod, as the information sinks in, everyone now less confused about what you were wearing.
Everyone seems very amused, but you were still pissed at the fact that you were plucked out of the concert a little before halfway through. You stare down Hotch, even he was smiling.
“You owe me. I didn’t even get to hear ‘Shake It Off’” You say, trying to seem annoyed, but truthfully you couldn’t keep a straight face with everyone laughing. The situation was too ridiculous, even Spencer couldn’t contain his laughter, as embarrassed as he was.
“If we wrap up this case quick enough, I’ll try to replace your tickets.” Rossi says, chuckling. “I’ll have you ‘Shaking it off’ in no time.”
You all burst into laughter before Hotch speaks over the room.
“Let’s get to work everyone-and you two, change before we leave.” You both gave him a thumbs up, leaning back in your seat to be briefed on the latest case.

Gracie Abrams is in the middle of telling me about the new music she’s writing when a thought stumps her. She pulls out her phone to Google the answer: When did her chart-topping second album, The Secret of Us, actually drop this year?“We started making new stuff the same week that we finished [that album]. Or actually, no, even earlier. When did the album come out?” she says, before trying to guess the release date: Top of the year? April? “What month are we in? December. When the f*ck did that album come out?” The page finally loads. “June 21st! Holy sh*t! I am losing my mind, if you cannot tell. Time isn’t as real as it once was.”That about sums up the story of Abrams’ life lately. In just a few months, she’s graduated from certified next-big-thing to actual big thing, thanks to her skillful songcraft and some excellent timing. After releasing two albums — 2023’s Good Riddance and then Secret, which got a deluxe edition in October — the 25-year-old scored a true star-making hit with “That’s So True,” a begrudging farewell to an ex that’s been inescapable whether you’re swiping through TikTok or flipping through the radio. It helped that, along the way, she’s opened for two of the most powerful women in the world: Vice President Kamala Harris, who recruited Abrams to rev up Gen Z with a campaign rally performance in Wisconsin this October; and, most crucially, Taylor Swift, who tapped Abrams to open for 49 shows of the Eras Tour and made a rare guest appearance on The Secret of Us track “Us” — the dean of confessional songwriting teaming up with her brightest pupil.Acne Studios dress, CHANEL Fine Jewelry earrings and ringsShe’s even managed the rare feat of transcending her nepo-baby status — her dad is sci-fi director J.J. Abrams, her mother is production executive Katie McGrath — and flipping it back onto her parents. At a recent show in New York, I watched fans approach her father to take selfies, not because he made Star Trek and Star Wars movies, but because he’s Gracie’s dad. (As one fan jokingly put it: “There is literally no way you knew JJ Abrams before Gracie unless ur like 50 like be for real.”)“They’re like, ‘What in the world?’” Abrams says of her parents’ reaction to her fame. “But it’s really sweet.” And she has a new appreciation for her mom — “The toughest person I know, and not a softie” — after watching her interact with Abrams’ growing army of young listeners. “The way that she treats people is how I want to treat people, and for me to see her be that way towards this community that cares so much about the music…” she says, her voice trailing off. “Her support and encouragement of my writing my whole life is the reason that I’m doing any of this now.”“Every time I’ve opened for Taylor, I watch and learn. I learned from her every time we have a conversation about the weather, even.”Abrams is telling me all this over breakfast in New York City, where she’s days away from making her musical debut on Saturday Night Live. She arrives punctually at Buvette in the West Village, dressed in a striped shirt and navy trousers, a black fur hat covering the hair that launched a thousand bobs. She arrives alone, coming from her mom’s nearby apartment, where she’ll be staying for the next few weeks. She seems remarkably calm and collected given the circumstances. Less than 36 hours ago, Abrams was on stage in front of 60,000 people in Vancouver, wearing a $75 thrifted wedding dress, performing for the final night of the Eras Tour.“Everyone had been crying all day. It felt like the last day of school backstage,” she says, sipping an oat milk cappuccino. “Everyone was walking around with their [Eras Tour] books, signing each other’s books. We were all walking around with Sharpies.”Like most Swifties, Abrams is moving through the stages of grief over the end of the tour. “I watched the live streams on shows that I wasn’t at,” she says. “I’m feeling emotional and grateful and in a state of shock that we don’t, as a global community, get to experience that source of light anymore.” And she’s especially appreciative of how being in Swift’s orbit offers a kind of pop-star boot camp as she enters a new stratosphere of success. “I was just soaking up every moment of her show, too. I’ve basically been studying it for a year-and-a-half. Every time I’ve opened for her, I watch and learn. I learned from her every time we have a conversation about the weather, even.”“It feels way easier to be alone in New York. And I love being alone.”When Abrams first started on the Eras Tour, two Taylor’s Version albums were just Easter eggs, the Poets had yet to be Tortured and “Tolerate It” was still on the set list; Abrams herself was fresh off the release of her debut album. By the time she rejoined the tour this past October, “That’s So True,” had just come out, and she could feel the way her life was changing in the vibrations of the stadium.“It’s funny to see what one song can do for engagement. In your head, you’re like, ‘Of course.’ But it’s crazy when you get to see that week-by-week in a stadium,” she says. “It was really wild. It felt different, for sure. There is something really psychotic about being able to hear voices in the stadium singing sh*t back at you. It’s like, ‘What the f*ck?’”Ottolinger top, David Koma skirt, CHANEL Fine Jewelry earrings and rings“That’s So True” becoming Abrams’ biggest hit to date is both a plot twist and a no-brainer. She started writing it last year but didn’t feel strongly about finishing it in time to put on The Secret of Us’ standard edition. Yet the song’s brash, self-aware lyrics are peak Abrams, embodying everything fans love about her. Since her first EP in 2020, she’s been packing emotional wallops into the tight confines of a three-minute pop song, with the easy intimacy of that friend who sends two-minute-long voice notes. Even as Abrams barrels from one feeling right into the next, her moments of mess have an enviable cleverness to them. Just listen to the second verse of “That’s So True,” where she manages to be both cheeky and snarling as she sifts through resentment for an ex who’s moved on (and herself for not doing the same): “What’d she do to get you off?/ Taking off your shirt, I did that once/ Or twice/ No, I know, I know I’ll f*ck off/ But I think I like her, she’s so fun/ Wait, I think I hate her, I’m not that evolved.”Audrey Hobert, Abrams’ best friend and frequent writing partner, has an idea of why Abrams’ songs are so sticky, even when they’re full of unconventional choices. “She taught me about something called mouthfeel, which is when you see if words feel good all strung together, and I’ve never forgotten it,” she says. “She’s hilarious and smart and fast and fun, just like she is when we’re not writing.”“That’s So True” went viral before it even came out: A snippet of Abrams playing the song acoustically with Hobert made the rounds on TikTok so quickly that Abrams added it to the set list of her headlining tour this fall. By the time she played two nights at Radio City Music Hall in New York — still days away from release — 90% of the crowd knew all the words, and even reenacted the lasso dance move Hobert made in the original video. (Hobert, who is also her roommate, is working on music of her own: “She is brilliant and deserves all of the ears and eyes,” Abrams teases. “The music she’s making right now is my favorite sh*t ever. You’ll love it.”)“I feel really lucky that 95% of my interactions with strangers are not with creepy dudes.”“It’s such an angsty, sarcastic song,” Abrams says of the hit, which she finished this spring at New York’s Electric Lady Studios with producer Aaron Dessner. “Audrey and I were drunk on the roof, writing it in tears, laughing. The initial lyrics were way gnarlier.” (“You don’t wanna know the first-draft lyrics,” Hobert tells me.) But there’s still plenty of bite in the bridge, a rushed, panicking confession that became a TikTok prompt for everyone from Kelsea Ballerini (“I was like, ‘Oh my God, you know who I am?’”) to @grandadfrankk (a charming Irish septuagenarian with 7.7 million followers). In November, it became her first top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.Also fueling the song’s rise: a new interest in Abrams’ growing celebrité, particularly her relationship with actor Paul Mescal, with whom she has been snapped by paparazzi several times over the last six months. (Mescal was also in attendance at the same New York show, and the pair were seen arriving hand in hand at this weekend’s SNL after-party.) Abrams keeps it brief when I ask how she’s found navigating personal relationships under this new public microscope. “That has nothing to do with me,” she says, straight-faced. “It doesn’t affect me.”LÙCHEN dress, CHANEL Fine Jewelry earrings and ringsRecently, Abrams got her own place in New York and is making the East Coast her home base. “Everything is more generative for me in New York. It feels way easier to be alone here. And I love being alone,” she says. Anonymity in the city is also a little easier to come by. “I’ve definitely noticed a change [in people noticing me], and at the same time, my life day-to-day doesn’t look different. I feel really lucky that 95% of my interactions with strangers are not with creepy dudes, for example, but young women or girls who are super emotional like I am and are able to express that. I appreciate that so much, and so I think that that is incredibly lucky.”“I’ve seen people be cruel towards new listeners, which is a bummer and such a shame because it’s not remotely how I feel.”She references a Maggie Rogers interview clip that’s made the rounds online, in which the singer-songwriter talks about how easily everyone can become a public figure in the age of TikTok. “And of course there are different levels and this spectrum is wide,” Abrams says, “but I do agree with what she said about the month you release an album, you get a lot more interaction with strangers in the street, but then six months later, things are quieter. People’s attention spans are short, and that’s all real and true.”The videos about Abrams that I encounter on my own feeds are relatively wholesome: Fans are dissecting her lyrics, not her love life (and, sure, a few are begging for her ab routine). “I’m glad that that’s what it feels like,” Abrams says. “I don’t really feel very engaged with my algorithm. I’m lucky that I don’t get my own sh*t on it. The videos that I interact with are about people that live in the middle of nowhere by themselves, or I get a lot of pregnancy announcements from strangers to their friends and family. I get a lot of wild animals and sh*t. So I don’t feel like I’m seeing a lot of myself, which I like.”Next year, we’ll all be seeing a lot of Abrams. The day before we meet, Abrams announced a new tour that features some of her biggest headlining shows to date, including multiple nights at arenas like New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden. “When I think about playing bigger rooms, I think of the Eras Tour as this endless well of information for me,” she says. “I felt like I was at school for this job. I used to be freaked out about the concept of not playing in a 100-cap room. It’s been a minute since I felt freaked out. If anything, you get to say hi to more people in bigger rooms.”Fans have taken note of her habit of frequently waving to members of the crowd throughout her shows, as if she invited them personally. (“Gracie waved at me” videos are a TikTok genre unto themselves.) Why does she do it? “I’m in a room with other people. They’re waving at me, and I want to say what’s up back,” she says plainly, as if to underscore that it’s not a bit — just a way of making even a big room feel a little bit smaller.Ottolinger top, David Koma skirt, CHANEL Fine Jewelry earrings and rings, Tom Ford shoesLately, she’s been thinking about the way her fan base has adjusted to an influx of new members. “I’ve seen some sh*t online recently that has made me…” she says, pausing to collect her thoughts. “I understand the whole concept of wanting to gatekeep small artists and feeling like you are responsible for finding somebody in their primary stages of development and then being responsible as well for helping share them with the world.“But I’ve also seen, on the flip side, people be kind of judgmental or cruel towards new listeners,” she adds. “I think that’s such a bummer and such a shame, to be honest, because it’s not remotely how I feel about it. I’m like, ‘Everyone, f*cking get in here! Come! Be a part of this community!’ It is generally really f*cking kind. Seeing some of that sh*t, I’m like, ‘Come on — chill.’”Following our breakfast, Abrams is headed to Saturday Night Live’s famed Studio 8H for her first visit this week. “For some reason, booking the Eras Tour and booking SNL exist in the same part of my brain where I didn’t know that chemicals in my head could release like that,” she says. “It’s such a privilege, an honor to do it. And also Chris Rock hosting is so f*cking nuts! I feel like I somehow cheated the system into being there for his show.” (She made at least one new fan with her performances: Barbra Streisand, who praised her on Instagram.)After a few Jingle Ball dates, a time-honored tradition for ascendant pop stars, she’s done for the year; she’ll do Christmas in New York with her family and take a trip for New Year’s before landing in London for the first half of January. “I spent so much time there over the past few years, and a lot over this year,” she says, then adds quickly — lest you jump to any geographical conclusions about her personal life — “I’ll be just chilling. I’ll be writing. I’ll be writing a lot.”And as for that new music? She’s been plugging away with Dessner at Electric Lady Studios and thinks a record could very well be out by the end of 2025. “I am inspired by Taylor in a million ways, but especially by the pace with which she puts things out into the world,” Abrams says. “There’s less pressure the more you release — that’s how I consider it for myself. I want to just keep it coming while I’m in this period of writing as frequently as I am. I think it would be a waste to not be open.”Top Image Credits: LÙCHEN dress, CHANEL Fine Jewelry earrings and ringsPhotographs by Keith OshiroStyling by EJ BrionesSet Designer: Alice JacobsHair: Bobby EliotMakeup: LoftjetManicure: Caroline CottenTalent Bookings: Special ProjectsVideo: Tiki, Kristina GrosspietschSenior Photo Producer: Kiara BrownEditor in Chief: Lauren McCarthySVP Fashion: Tiffany ReidSVP Creative: Karen Hibbert Source link

Midnights
Tumblr media
Summary: Spencer's surprising knowledge regarding Taylor Swift's newest album 'Midnights' sparks the teams conversation about his secret girlfriend.
Couple: Spencer Reid/Fem!Reader
Category: Fluff
Word Count: 882
Read on Ao3
“Have you listened to it yet?” Penelope asked eagerly as she approached JJ’s desk across the bullpen.
They had just gotten back from a case the night before and thus were confined to the bullpen as they worked through paperwork before a new case hit their desks. However paperwork was dreadfully boring, as I had told Spencer in the car that morning, so any opportunity to ignore it was taken gratefully.
JJ looked up with a smile, “I did, I got to listen when I got home last night and again on my way to work this morning.”
“Perfect.” Penelope dragged an empty chair to her desk before she continued, “Do you have a favourite song yet? I have a couple but I need to know your opinions first.”
Briefly, I glanced to Spencer who hadn’t looked up at the commotion but he wore a small smile at the mention. Since we had started dating, he learnt quickly that I loved Taylor Swift. I hadn’t made him listen to the entirety of her discography, but Midnights was the first album to come out since we started dating. Obviously, I had insisted upon him sitting up with me as we listened to every song as soon as we had the chance. We sat up the night before listening to every song, stopping at the end of each so I could give him my thoughts on them.
“I think Mastermind,” JJ replied thoughtfully.
Penelope nodded earnestly, “That’s a good one, I think mine Bejewelled. Or Lavender Haze. Or Karma. I don’t know, it’s hard.”
Those had also been top contenders for her and Spencer, although eventually it was decided upon between the both of them that they liked You’re On Your Own Kid the most.
“It’s so different from Folklore and Evermore though, I wasn’t ready for it, I love it though,” JJ raved.
Absentmindedly Spencer spoke up, “It’s like a mix of 1989 and Speak Now I think.”
He hadn’t looked up when he spoke, so it wasn’t until the bullpen fell silent that he looked up and saw the curious looks around him. Even Tara, Luke, and Matt had tuned in.
“What?”
“I didn’t take you as a Taylor Swift fan?” JJ said, looking bemused by his confusion.
He merely shrugged, briefly glancing my way before he replied, “She’s my girlfriend’s favourite artist. We listened to Midnights when I got back last night.”
Penelope gasped at the words, “Again with this mystery girlfriend, she gets better every time I hear about her. Now she’s a swiftie.”
“When do we get to meet her?” Matt asked, adding to fuel to the fire.
“What’s her favourite song?” JJ added.
Spencer opened his mouth slightly before he actually spoke, “I don’t know, I’ll have to talk to her about it.”
He had mentioned a few months back that he had a girlfriend to the team in passing. It was just when they were asking about his plans for the weekend and he unthinkingly mentioned that he was going to a Chess exhibit at the Smithsonian with his girlfriend. It had gone downhill since then, every other question from Penelope to him was about this mysterious girlfriend of his.
It hadn’t even been that they had been trying to hide the relationship at first, it had mostly just been new and so they also weren’t going out of their way to publicise it. However, it had been a solid eight months and no one really knew. Well, Rossi definitely knew. He hadn’t mentioned it but he did give them a slight nod with a smile after he saw that they arrived at his place for dinner together.
“Can you at least tell us about her?” Penelope pleaded.
I bit my lip as I looked down at my paperwork, attempting to hide a smirk. Although it didn’t go amiss with JJ.
“What was that, do you know who she is?”
“Who who is?” Rossi asked as he walked through the bullpen with Emily.
Spencer looked relieved at their presence, “Do we have a case?”
Emily shook her head, “Nothing. Who are we talking about?”
“Spencer’s secret girlfriend,” Tara called out with amusement.
Rossi gave an amused nod as Luke spoke, looking my way, “Apparently it’s not all that secret.”
I glanced to Spencer who raised his eyebrows in question, I only shrugged in response. He tilted his head before I nodded slightly and spoke up.
“I’m his secret girlfriend.”
“What?” Penelope gasped, jumping out of her seat. “Since when? Why didn’t you tell us? Oh my god, this is so exciting. Really?”
Spencer let out a quiet laugh and nodded, “Since about eight months ago.”
“Eight months!” JJ exclaimed, “You’re kidding.”
“Wait,” Penelope said suddenly, “What is your favourite song on Midnights?”
I snorted at her sudden revelation that I also liked Taylor Swift, “You’re On Your Own Now Kid.”
“Oh my god, this is so great,” Penelope continued as she gave me a tight hug before she quickly moved onto to Spencer.
Tara nodded, “We’re going to give you so much shit for this.”
“Oh definitely,” Luke agreed.
“Not as much as your mom gave me last night,” I called as JJ gave me a hug, earning an eyeroll from Luke as the team congratulated us.

Could it Be? Chapter 13 (JJ x Reader)
JJ x Reader
CH.1 - CH.2 - CH.3 - CH.4 - CH.5 - CH.6 - CH.7 - CH.8 - CH.9 - CH.10 - CH.11 - CH.12
Description: She has a crush on JJ, but he has always seen her as another one of the “dudes”, or  at least that’s what she thinks so she just doesn’t even try anymore, until things start to shift between the two of them. (A/N: I’M NOT GOOD AT DESCRIPTIONS BUT THESE IS JUST WHAT I WOULD LOVE TO HAPPEN IN OUTER BANKS WITH JJ)
Warnings: drinking???
Tumblr media
CHAPTER 13
You placed the empty can of beer on the table and noticed JJ’s glare set on you as you reached for your fourth drink.
“Can I help you with something?” You spat at him before drunkenly smirking at the blonde.
“I see you’re thirsty.” He grinned as he helped you open the bottle.
“I just want to loosen up and have some fun.” You replied, pouring yourself some tequila and mixing it with a soda.
“Fun means danger when it comes to you,” He winked and you rolled your eyes at him.
“That was one time.”
“Whatever,” he went on, “I’m not letting you get shit-wasted tonight.”
“Says the one who’s already had six beers,”
“I can handle my alcohol, unlike you.”
You teasingly raised your eyebrow at him as your eyes lit up with a mischievous idea, JJ immediately shaking his head at you but letting out an equally mischievous smile.
“Here,” you handed him a shot of tequila and poured one for yourself as well, “I’ll show you I can handle it.”
“I would like to see.”
You raised your tequila shots to each other before gulping down the strong alcohol, your throat burning as the liquid went down.
Time went by and Sarah and John B where nowhere to be found, but you and JJ were having too much fun drinking and talking about nonsense to notice the couple had gone to John B’s bedroom to do stuff you had no business knowing about.
You wrapped your arms around JJ’s neck and playfully slow danced with him, your legs were struggling to move correctly as the alcohol was taking over your system but JJ’s arms wrapped around your waist helped you remain steady.
Both your faces were flustered form the alcohol and the heat from dancing around, the two of you were clearly drunk but not wasted thanks to JJ taking care of your drinking and not allowing you to mix your drinks.
You looked around the room to see if Sarah and John B were around, and when you didn’t see them anywhere near, you took the opportunity to press a quick kiss to JJ’s lips. He stared at your eyes in a loving and caring way as you burst into laughter.
“What’s so funny?” He asked.
“I just can’t believe we’re.. you know..” You struggled to find the words as you didn’t know what exactly was going on between you and JJ.
JJ’s eyes kept fixed on your, waiting patiently for you to complete your sentence but as he realised you were nowhere near to forming the words, he decided to help you.
“Dating?” He whispered and your eyes widened.
“So we are?” You muttered, a smile forming on your face.
“I mean,” he shrugged and bit his bottom lip, “if you want to, of course.”
You couldn’t help but smile wider at him, you knew JJ wasn’t one to easily express his feelings, let alone actually get involved in a relationship so this was a pretty big deal for the both of you, especially since this was all happening too fast yet it felt as if the two of you had waited ages for this to come true.
“I’ll have to think about it.” You bit the inside of your cheek, noticing JJ’s grip tighten and his eyebrows raise in confusion.
“Yeah, sure, I mean,” he stuttered and you couldn’t help but burst out laughing again, his confusion growing stronger.
“Of course I want to, you idiot.” You cupped his face and sensed him relax on your touch.
The two of you shared a slow and sweet kiss, his movements carefully synching with yours as he pulled you in closer. You opened your mouth to let him explore it as the kiss became more passionate and hungrier, you placed your hands on the nape of his neck and tugged at his hair, gaining a soft moan from him.
“I think we should go home.” You said, your lips inches apart.
“I think I agree.”
Neither of you bothered on letting your friends know you were leaving as they were also busy doing their thing. You took JJ’s hand and walked side by side to your place, it was a long walk but you wouldn’t have had it any other way.
As you arrived to your house, the two of you hurried upstairs to your room, the tension and urgency filling the air but neither of you daring to make a move.
You sat down on your bed as JJ locked the door even though only the two of you were home. You bit the bottom of your lip as you stared at him. His grey tank top loose enough to show his toned abs and his strong arms making your head spin with unholy thoughts about them.
He turned to face you and you felt your cheeks heat up. No matter how long the two of you had known each other or how close you’d gotten to each other, he never failed to make you get all flustered and nervous.
JJ smirked as soon as he saw the rose tint on your cheeks and your eyes scanning all his body. He slowly walked over to you, your heartbeat speeding up by every step he was taking. The grin on his face kept growing wider as he noticed the effect he was causing on you, enjoying every second of it.
Once he was completely standing in front of you, you looked up at his face and matched your grin with his. Your face was exactly in front of his abdomen, and a bit too close to his lower area, making his heartbeat speed up as well.
Your confidence and urgency to have him all for yourself made you slowly and carefully run your fingers through his abdomen and you tugged at his shirt to signal him to take it off. He didn’t think twice before the grey tank top hit the floor and his upper body was bare as your eyes kept processing every inch of him.
Your hands traced his toned stomach and you felt his body twitch at your touch. You smirked to yourself, feeling confident at the effect you were causing on him. Your hand softly made its way lower and you noticed his chest rise up and down quicker as you intentionally but slightly rubbed your palm on his growing bulge, pretending as if it was an accident.
You then played with the waistband of his shorts and pulled them down, leaving him on his trousers which you also teasingly played with the waistband of them and then pushed him further away from you, making him raise an eyebrow at you in confusion. You stood up in front of him and placed a hard but quick kiss on his lips before turning around him.
“Sit down,” you demanded, surprised by your sudden urge of dominance.
JJ smirked at you and took your place on the bed, softly wrapping his hands on your waist as you stood in front of him, letting him stare at you while you took your own shirt off, revealing the top of your red bikini.
Your shorts joined your shirt on the ground, leaving you with your red bikini top and bottom which matched the color of JJ’s cheeks. You sat on his lap, facing him as you wrapped your legs around his waist and felt his bulge rub against your entrance, which was still covered by the bottom of your bikini.
“Y/N,” JJ whispered once you started moving your hips against him.
“Mhm,” was all you could bring yourself to say as the friction between the two of you made a tingling sensation intensify between your legs.
“Are you sure about this?” He asked.
You stared at his blue eyes and felt his thumbs stroke your hips. He was genuinely concerned about this, especially after knowing about your past with Rafe and sex.
But this time you felt different. You were sure of JJ and you didn’t want to do this with anyone else but him. You trusted him and you loved him, even if you hadn’t verbally expressed it to him. You’d never felt as confident and safe with anyone else as you do now with JJ. You knew you wanted this and you knew you wouldn’t regret nor have second thoughts about this.
You gently rubbed his cheeks as you leaned forward to his face, softly placing a loving kiss on his lips.
“I’ve never been more sure JJ.” You whispered against his lips as you felt his hands press tighter on your hips.

I don't think i can run away from 1989 rr lol💀 two of my sisters are swifties and tho they respect me and my love for harry they surely wont shut up abt these stupid songs🤮also swiffer will surely release a music video from a new song in 1989. so i guess, let us wait for a boat themed mv lmao or new years kisses yuck
Anon I'm so sorry for you. 🥺 It's going to suck having another ATW type MV for a 1989 vault song "about Harry" and centered about that damn boat date will be AMAZING to hear the internet talk about and thus hate on Harry for for weeks. 🙃
It will definitely be centered around the boat date and not New Years Eve kiss bc the boat date was the main break up narrative against H that made him seem like a toxic ex just like the stolen red scarf was the main narrative against J for ATW. These new MV are all centered around how these relationships went sour mainly what the guy did wrong.
J, TL, Harry and JJ all followed the same exact format of one specfic thing he did or day where things went wrong to make him a toxic ex so I definitely believe they were all fake relationships. For J it was the stolen red scarf, for JJ it was the phone call break up, for Harry it was the boat date break up and TL it was that day in December.
The only reason Calvin didn't have some narrative around his fake relationship with her was bc he allegedly only agreed to fake date her if there wasn't some slandering narrative towards him after they "broke up." Calvin DID made quite a few references to his relationship with her after they broke up alluding to it being fake and he seemingly was not heard about/on the radio much after he did that almost like he was blacklisted for saying what he did so no way that relationship was real either.

lover - john b routledge
requested? yes: if you happen to be a swiftie or know the song could I request a fic based on lover with john b?🥺 (I am not a swiftie but I will admit this is a song I could listen to forever)
description: having recently moved into the chateau officially, you spend a night reflecting on yours and John B’s relationship.
fill out this survey to join my taglist(s), here’s my masterlist, and requests are open
warnings: john b and reader are a little older in this, I imagined it as the summer after their senior year. domestic relationship vibes for sure, a lot of sweet fluff. I’m kind of in love with this so please don’t hurt my feelings
word count: 1.5k
++
You were never far from John B. At least, you didn’t like to be. Actually, he’d gotten in the habit of waiting for you to follow any time he got up to go talk to friends or get another drink at a kegger. Or anywhere, really.
But that’s where you are now, tucked into his side as he talks to some guys that were visiting the island. They were talking about surfing: the best places to go, the best times to go, what kinds of boards to use, and John B was shining. He loved knowing he looked like the guy people should ask questions, the guy that knows everything.
One of your favorite things is the way John B looks as the orange glow from the bonfire dances across his skin. You admire him as he talks, his face and hand (because one is secured tightly around your waist to keep you close) are so animated and show his excitement.
Watching John B do anything could never get old. Being right by his side any chance you got could never get old. You never wanted it to, anyway. John B was literally your best friend. The person you were closest to, the one you came to for everything. Three years of dating had passed in the blink of an eye, but at the same time, it felt like forever.
The conversation had moved on from surfing and the island to something else that you didn’t quite catch, but when there was a lull, you took the chance.
“Baby? Can we go home?” You whisper, not moving from your position of being attached to his side but tilting your head, so it was less noticeable that you were asking him something.
John B didn’t have to look at you to let you know he heard you, he just gave your hip a gentle squeeze, and you knew he’d wrap it up. You provide a polite wave to the three boys as you two walk away, going to tell the Pogues you’re leaving. John B’s arm stayed around your shoulders, his thumb at your hip, rubbing sweet circles just under the hem of your shirt. Another one of your favorite things.
“Hey, my lover and I are going home.” John B called as you two passed where your shared friends were sitting. The three of them collectively rolled their eyes but bid you goodnight anyway.
JB loved calling you his lover. To him, it felt more endearing, because he knew you loved him and he wanted to show it off. Even though you’d told him multiple times that people don’t usually use it in that context, but he never stopped. His excuse always was, “Well, saying, “the love of my life” takes too long.”
But John B was your lover, in every sense of the word. He showed you he loved you in a million different ways. It was in the way he kissed you awake every morning, in the way he was almost always touching you, in the way he protected you and made you feel comfortable wherever you were. The list could go on for days.
The van comes to a stop in front of the chateau, and John B hops out first. He jogs over to your side, opening the door with a goofy grin on his face. “Welcome home.”
Home. The chateau was your home now, yours and John B’s. His uncle had agreed to sign it over to him, and you’d both spent the last semester fixing it up whenever you had the time. It looked good now, and you were proud of what it was. So many of your memories had already been made here, but there were so many more to come.
“I think we should put Christmas lights up.” You say, playing with the hair on the nape of John B’s neck as he stands between your legs, still sitting in the van.
“In June?” He laughs, looking around.
“Why not? It’s ours now, we make the rules. Plus, it’s so dark out here at night.”
His hands that rest on the top of your thighs move to underneath, hoisting you into his arms. “Alright, we’ll go get some Christmas lights tomorrow.”
As John B is walking up the three stairs, he trips on the last one, stumbling inside but catching himself, and you, before he falls. You squeal, tightening your grip with your legs and your arms. “Jesus, John B, I could’ve died.”
“Oh, yeah, a near-death experience for sure. I’m so sorry, what ever could I do to make it up to you?” JB plays along, being dramatic with you is his favorite way of teasing you.
“Can we dance?” You ask, your lip jutting out.
“Let me shower first, okay?” John B kisses your forehead as he sets you down.
“Hurry back, I’ll miss you.” You wink, watching him skip to the bathroom with a goofy grin on his face.
“You could join me!”
Ignoring him, you sit down on the couch and wrap a blanket over your shoulders. As you look around the empty chateau, the old light bulbs cast a haze, making the air seem slightly foggy.
You looked at the empty table, five mismatched chairs sitting around it. Each one being claimed by one of your friends. The sixth one that completed the oddball set had been destroyed long ago, broken when JJ and John B barreled into it while they were fighting once.
What you’re really focused on is that your and John B’s chairs are next to each other. As if you’d be attached at the hips if you were actually sitting in them. Usually, the boys were the last ones at the table when you all gathered for game nights or dinner. You always saved him a seat. No matter how delayed John B was in getting to the table, or how many times the chairs had been rearranged, that never changed.
Then, your attention is brought to the kitchen. All of the nights that you and John B would stumble into the chateau, ransacking the cabinets for snacks or anything edible after a night of drinking at the boneyard. He’d get handsy after having to socialize all night long and not being able to tell you how good you looked dancing with Kie. It never failed that he saved his dirtiest jokes just for you.
But as you look through the window and to the couch on the porch, you’re reminded that not all of the memories here are good ones.
You’ve sat on that couch with John B and cried about so many things. That’s where you found him the day he got the news about his dad all those years ago. Even before that, he had sat there with you through a few breakups. You had this bad habit of giving boys your heart thinking they’d keep it forever, only to find out they were just borrowing it. John B was always there when it was returned in pieces, each time keeping one until he’d won you over.
John B shared plenty of heartbreak on that couch with you too. Girls had this habit of wanting to get close to him, but also wanting two of his four closest friends to disappear from the face of the earth. Boys having friends that were girls seemed to be a problem back then.
“Thinking hard over there?” JB’s voice pulls you out of your thoughts. He’s dressed in pajamas, his hair is stringy and probably still dripping, but he’s making his way toward you.
You stand, meeting him in the middle of the room like he’s a magnetic force that you’re attracted to. His hands make their home on the small of your back, and his arms pull your torsos together.
“Not too hard. Just remembering all those girls who swooned over you way back then. I think I’m still highly suspicious that every girl who sees you wants you.” Your nose scrunches in a teasing manner.
John B raises his eyebrows, chuckling while he shakes his head at you. “Oh, do girls still swoon for me?”
You hit his chest playfully, and he takes the opportunity to grab your hand and push you out so he can twirl you around. “There’s plenty, did you see that group of tourons at the boneyard tonight?”
He pulls you back in, shaking his head once more. “Nope, but I did see this one adorable girl. She definitely only had eyes for me, I could tell. Her eyes kept finding mine, and I was lucky enough that she sat next to me, much less talked to me. She did this cute thing where she asked me if we could go home. Turns out, she’s the woman of my dreams and my girlfriend. Crazy, right? It was unbelievable.”
JB’s face lights up as he talks, swaying you absentmindedly as he talks about you. You can’t help but laugh, your forehead falling onto his collarbone and your hair into your face.
“You’re ridiculous sometimes, but I love you.”
As the two of you dance around to nothing but the beats of your hearts, you feel content. You feel at home. You feel loved.
John B is your perfect match, your soulmate, but most importantly, he’s your lover.

fuck it. swiftie jj maybank post i mean. i think jj has always been a taylor swift apologist. like it dates back to when they were 8 and before they learned about gender roles and “girl music,” he and pope were obsessed with the fearless album and like he still loves taylor swift and kie kinda makes fun of him for it cuz she has taste. but jjs always been like she’s gonna release an album and it’s gonna make u feel the same way hearing fearless at 8 made u feel, and then folklore comes out and he’s like you see????? and the reason the reason they don’t let jj drive is cuz he’ll roll up to rob a drug dealer while blasting back to december and that’s just the wrong vibe then after jj sees kiara and pope kissing really sucked, like he just wanted to curl up with a blunt and a taylor swift album later, when everything’s good, john bs back and pope and jj are together, pope wakes up to jj making pancakes in john bs kitchen twirling around singing teardrops on my guitar at the top of his lungs
