I'm sorry but can we just talk about how beautiful Eleceed characters are? If I could rank them to my reference I'd probably have them by this order.

As usual, the number one most beautiful character for me would be the one and only official number one most beautiful awakened one. Kartien. Not only is he beautiful by looks but this attitude is also wonderful af. Totally on top of my list. Look at that lips, idk if he's putting on some long lasting red lipstick but me and my cousin bet its 100% natural.

On my top 2 I got Jiyoung, Vatore and Roist. There is just something about these 3 that makes me go wtf, so pretty. While I was pretty vilid with the no.1. I'm more on slightly sane with these 3. I may not be the most fan of them but I am certainty loving their characters. Especially on the recent chapters. If Kartien could make me do anything, these three certainly aren't behind.

My top 3 on the other hand comes Kayden, Guestella and Arthur. To be honest, I had enough of white haired female (action manh-) but Guestella was just too pretty to ignore at the same time Jiyoung got more appeal to me than Guestella has. About Kayden on the other hand, there was nothing to explain. I love that guy (and Kartien) but that does not automatically put him as the top in my top 3 beautiful category lmao. Arthur, Arthur on the other hand, I actually found him as a pretty boy during his first appearance and oh boi just the recents got him even looking better.

The awakeneds in the ranking are so funny. Jiwoo introduces himself and they're like "this kid is fucking unreal, am like in the ranking how can he stand right next to me??" Kayden shows up and they gasp among themselves, "okay, I knew he was something but this is beyond what everyone in the rank expected??" Jiyoung slaps some sense into them and they just sit on the floor rocking themselves, "but she's not ranked??" Seongha fights back and they're stomping their feet like a child who didn't get their way, "you're not anywhere in the rank I don't even know your name??"

Girl, she studies in another school. Why are you looking for her in your class roster.

About jiyoung's future.

Chapter 321 had me thinking about the aftermath of the failed invasion of Korea and all the ways this could go in the future. I couldn't help but wonder about Ji Young's position on the matter, not only as Shinhwa's chairwoman but Korea's representative awakened one. Maybe I'm a little delusional for wanting some political development when the writer(s) dropped the topic a long time ago, but here are some of my thoughts and expectations.

1. Jiyoung's official world ranking: she's been fighting top50s for months, dislimbed some of them and even Vatore has been talking about her to other rankers. I think that's enough to consider her worthy, but it could be a good opportunity to explain more about how the rankings work in an official manner and who is in charge of passing the news about the new rankers around the world.

2. Chairwoman Yoo: The last time we saw her in this position was when all the Astra mess was happening. With all the invasion thing and top10s and top rankers coming to visit every other week, I'd love to see more about Korea's dynamics and damage control plans from Ji Young's point of view. Even if the one on command -in group meetings- is still Seongik Han, it could be a good opportunity to let her shine outside the battlefield too.

3. Korea's first ranker Ji Young: If she becomes a world ranker, her title will have some changes too. In earlier chapters, we learn that first rankers are usually targeted if they aren't recognized worldwide a thing that was happening to her- so holding a high rank should be useful to stop that, but I don't think the problems end there. Politics again, Korea is known for being weak and having a young N° 1 ranker was one of the reasons. It could be interesting to see how 'Korea having one (or more) world ranker(s)' is managed by the world, and on a personal level, how Jiyoung manages all these new things.

I know asking for all this is too much because it doesn't have anything to do with Kayden or Jiwoo, but I could be begging on my knees for some world-building and the invasion thing just gave me hope 😭 [plus I love jiyoung a little too much to see her character die as not more than a love interest]

I like how both Julian and Ian got in trouble for asking Jiwoo to fight, insinuating that Julian took Ian to ask Jiwoo for a fight knowing full well they'd get in trouble only because Ian wouldn't stop bugging the hell out of Julian to take him

unpopular opinion, but I used to hope for a Kayden-Jiyoung ship in the early days

The idea that two of the strongest awakened ones are together just tickles me.

Also (while Im not against the Jiwoo-Jiyoung ship, I just dont ride with it) Jiyoung's status as an awakener doesnt affect Kayden (no power imbalance or some sort). Hence why I was lowkey shipping them.

Kayden defending Jiyoung here is one of my fave scenes. I think at this point, this was the first time that he defended her against someone (the second one just happened lately). Jiyoung has an image to protect and she has Shinwa to consider, so she just cant mouth off fuckers even tho they deserve it. It's also not her personality. Kayden, my beloved Kayden, on the other hand, is free to bitch and piss those that he deemed deserving.

I was sold after this scene. Smirking Kayden, that hand clenching of Jiyoung....my heartttt. I think every proper fighter who took the lead position of their group mourns the loss of being able to fight just for the sake of seeing how strong they are. The risks are not just worth it as mentioned. Kayden on the other hand has the freedom to do what he wants, and that is to fight strong fighters. Im thinking that Jiyoung, who kinda feels lonely for never having a proper duel since she took Shinwa's lead, feels happy to be seen and acknowledged by THE Kayden Break.

These two are my forever what-ifs and could-have been :(
