Eleceed guys as situationships/talking stages

Jisuk is the nonchalant, dry, but strangely very attached talking stage. After a day of talking with him, you start getting the feeling he has the personality of a guy looking to just hit and nothing else. Just constant streams of 'lmao' 'wyd' 'k' as responses. But then you realize he has never once made any sexual implications, and is surprisingly pretty consistent with his texts. Also sends surprisingly thoughtful (but short and dry) messages at times, or sends photos of things that reminds him of you. And then comes the very belated stage of realizing he's just completely and utterly hopeless when it comes to talking stages and in actuality is trying his very hardest in this. 10/10 talking stage who will take you very seriously if you manage to stick through the very rough beginning stage

Sucheon is a serial ghoster. Consider yourself lucky if you manage to get past even one message without him completely icing you out or blocking you. If he even cares enough, you might get a text of 'Sorry. busy.' 36 hours after your initial message. He will always be busy and he will never ever have enough to entertain a conversation with you no matter how hard you try.

Ian is the heartbreaker situationship. 100% has a roster. 100% only hits you up only when he's bored. Between said roster and how busy he constantly is, he barely has time for you. But when he does-oh man. The chemistry is off the charts. The conversation is back and forth, the topics are interesting, you're giggling and kicking your feet the entire conversation. But it will last for a total of around thirty minutes before he mysteriously disappears around 1-2 weeks before hitting you back up again. Will be very active on social media, though. Always vaguely mentions taking you on dates or meeting up but never does. Logically, you should drop him asap, but he has a way of reeling you back in.

Duke is the disaster situationship you meet at 19 years old. Charming, manipulative, and a serial lovebomber. Probably the first guy to ever "want a serious relationship" but for some reason wants to keep it somewhat on the downlow and never ever wants to put a label on any of it. Showers you with lavish gifts, makes you feel like the only person in the world, talks about starting a future with you, then ghosts you for days at a time because "he's busy" Reveals the most menial, benign facts about himself and then says "wow..I never let anyone see this side of me..." There is a 70% chance he is seeing other people and will gaslight the hell out of you on your perception of your guys's relationship if he gets caught. Will he make the time you're with him make you feel like you're the most cherished, loved, and wonderful person on earth? Sure. Will you be mentally torn to shreds and never be quite the same at the end of it? Absolutely.

Gahin is somewhat on the same vein as Duke, except he's a bit more candid about it. Makes it pretty clear from the get-go he's not going to take you seriously and he has priorities that takes a much higher place than you and isn't afraid of showing it. You end up falling anyways, especially since Gahin can't help but lovebomb a little-he thinks it's a little entertaining to string along people. It is a disaster-on your end. Gahin could not care less, unfortunately.

Asher is the startlingly clingy talking stage. Deprived of any genuine interpersonal connection, so imagine his shock when someone actually..wants to know about him...and wants to talk to him daily. Once he gets past his general confusion and distaste over it, you have unfortunately unlocked a burr. Spams you 24/7. Will text back as soon as you respond. Trauma dumps and yaps like a goddamned pro. Will bare all of his deepest darkest secrets to you and wear his heart on his sleeve-which is generally not a great idea in the talking stage. So if things go south or you ghost him or things don't work out...he will hold a grudge. will pretend to be nochalant, but he is the absolute opposite.

Wooin clingy talking stage pt. 2 but like. worse. Honestly has very little grasp on the concept of a 'talking stage' or a 'situationship' at all, so he has a very ride-or-die mindset when it comes to romantic prospects. Once you're in the talking stage, he assumes he's talking to his potential life partner and must tread with the upmost care. Will bombard you with apologetic paragraphs late at night if he feels he did something wrong. Will be very very very distraught if you end it after like. two dates. Will likely never get over you.

Upon opening front door of your house you came face to face with white plastic bag sitting on your porch. Cautiously—you picked it up and took it inside.

The waffles are warm, the cream still cold, and the sugar-coated strawberry still fresh. It tasted heavenly—Even better with the thought that the prideful heir of Baekdu went through the trouble of getting it for you. The thought was sweeter than sugar. Mid-chew however you realized that its... quite... odd...? Why would the prideful heir of Baekdu go through the trouble of getting waffles for you this late night?

"Yeah that could be it..." You concluded once you figured that he might be trying to be a bit nicer and decided to start with you first—taking another bite of the waffle.

They sighed, Sucheon is still Sucheon when it comes to the rest—especially the two of them. You're a different case however.

Also Sucheon was forced to spend time with the group by his uncle (to forge better relationships with his peers or something) Wooin is recording, Jiwoo and Subin helped with the outfits, makeup and Jisuk’s wig while Gangseok is just watching to make sure no one dies.

i feel i have been unusually active on tumblr today but. recently i compiled stats for the eleceed relationship tags on ao3, and i thought y'all might like to see it.

cool stats: jiwoo, unsurprisingly, has the largest number of relationships, with kayden is in a distant second. his most popular platonic ship is ofc kayden&jiwoo (which makes up almost 1/5th of all eleceed fics), while his most popular romantic ship is sucheon/jiwoo (which i get, but am a little surprised at). kayden/kartein, or kaykar as i occasionally shorten them to, has the most fics as a romantic pairing. the most popular romantic ship w/o either of them is subin/jisuk, and the same goes for the platonic subin&jisuk. kartein's ao3 tag is "Kartein | Curtin", which is my fault and therefore so embarassing that i've sent a message to ao3 support to get it fixed (among others😭)

It has been an hour or so since Sucheon left your place. The spice of the Tteokboki from earlier lingered on your tongue, the tranquil silence seemingly filled your ears, and the dim yellow lighting stained the white ceiling of your home like ink on paper. The soft smooth material of the couch your body rested upon felt like soft snow underneath you, the coldness of your abode was oddly comforting like the sound of rain.

Your phone buzzed against the wooden material of the table in front of the couch you lay upon—the silence breaking for a split moment, the oddly tranquil state of nothing in your head vanishing into existence. Sucheon sent you a message. You picked up your phone and opened the message.

The way their hair gently danced with the wind as it blew through.. The rays of the setting sun kissing their skin.. Their smile radiant and vibrant like a carefree childhood dream.. Their eyes so full of life and emotion that it just makes you feel so complete, so alive.. so... real... It's like heaven taking a human form, and wherever they go that place is heaven on earth, a paradise so true.

[Snap!] The sound caught you off guard, it was definitely the sound of a camera shutter, although it didn't came from yours. You turned around came face to face with Sucheon holding up a camera similar to the one he got you but in a different color.

He noticed the surprised look on your face, "Thought we could match so I got one for myself." A complete smile plastered on his face for the first time, A smile so fresh and sweet that honey and the freshest fruit you could ever have could never compare to. A sight to behold. "And... Photography seems enjoyable."

You smiled. [Snap!] Sucheon blinked in surprise, "What was that for?". "You took a picture of me without me knowing, its only fair I take a pic of you too." He chuckled, "Touché". He snapped another photo of you.

Staring off into space is rather okay but what now?! Oh no... He couldn't have grown delusional because of what he's going through can he? Did I just fail as a father figure and an uncle?! Suman then noticed a picture of someone pinned on the wall just by his nephew's desk. Ahhh.... Suman walked over to Sucheon and poked his side, "WHAT THE FUCK-!" Sucheon jolted away, "Oh- Hey Unc.." He grew composed, "Hey lover boy I'm going out, want something?" "I'm not a lover-" Suman shushed him repeatedly, his pointer finger extended. Sucheon becoming friends with the others?

I think this is something that I really think could happen, but I think it'll need more than just the "Jiwoo is super nice to him they're now besties" trope. My belief is that there will be this huge threat and that the organizations think it'll be best if the 4 strongest rookies, Jiwoo, and Wooin stuck together in case anything happens. Sucheon finds this to be a hassle but agrees. He just hangs around Ganseok and tries to avoid Jisuk and Subin (he would fail). Something crazy happens, and they all have to work together, which leads him to acknowledge that working in a team ain't that bad. He'd still see Jiwoo as a rival, but more in a playful way. Obviously, he would also be subject to being the 1# target of Jisuk and Subin's teasing. If i had to guess, he would probably be closest to Ganseok and Wooin.

in view of the barrenness of this webtoon when it comes to sucheon content these days I would like to suggest a fun thing for sucheon to try on jiwoo next time

the premise of it is that sucheon will carry out a gravitational slingshot on jiwoo! basically he will take advantage of jiwoo's high speed and angular momentum with regard to sucheon to Swing Him Around and into a wall. he can make jiwoo pull more Gs than he has ever experienced in his life.

see picture attached for some visualisation. the only problem is that because this is an elastic collision and sucheon is about as massive as jiwoo, he might also fly away.
