Your friends followed your gaze.

Jungkook had his backpack strapped to his shoulder and the red scarf wrapped around his neck. It shouldn’t be possible. You were technically too far for you to properly see, but you saw it—the tension in his shoulders, the strain in his nape, the deep knit between his brows. He was…. annoyed. It was new to you. For a moment, you almost expected to find Narae walking behind him, bugging him, hot on his trail. It would explain it to you, and you would just simply walk over there and pull him to your table. Just like that, you would ease the knit between your brows, take the tension out of his shoulders and neck-

But it wasn’t Narae. 

It was Taehyung. 

He said something to Jungkook that made him roll his eyes. Jungkook didn’t seem to want to respond, shaking his head and waving his hand around, an attempt to end the conversation. But Taehyung wasn’t so kind, going on, even taking hold of his shoulder.

“Someone is in a mood,” Namjoon mumbled, cringing.

“What are they talking about, Y/N?” Jimin asked, looking at you, and you stared right back at him, frowning.

“How would I know?”

“You’re his girlfriend.”

“So?”

“Go find out.”

“What? I just walk up to them and say,” you raised your voice a few pitches, “‘Oh my God, hi, you guys are clearly fighting. Care to share?’ Is that what you want?”

Jimin blinked, shrugging. “Sure, that would work.”

“You’re so ridiculous, Jimin,” you hissed, touching a hand to your forehead. “That wouldn’t work.”

“Of course, it would. Kook’s absolutely obsessed-”

“Oh my God, shut up,” Chaeyoung hissed, slapping Jimin. “They’re looking!”

“You guys are always so loud,” Hoseok sighed, and you sent him a glare because no, you don’t! It’s just Jimin!

But they were right. Taehyung and Jungkook were both looking at you, their conversation having come to an end. When you met his gaze, Jungkook’s face contorted into something else, features twitching. You couldn’t pinpoint what it was, but it wasn’t the usual. He didn’t soften in the way you were used to when he would see you. And when you tried a smile, Jungkook struggled to return it. You felt shot, and your smile faltered.

But Jimin didn’t sense it at all, wildly waving his hand around, gesturing for the two to come this way. And as if it wasn’t more obvious, he yelled it too, “Hey, Tae and Kook! Come join us!”

Jisoo sighed, “He’s such an idiot.”

Chaeyoung and Hoseok shrugged, as if to say well, it’s Jimin. They were right, it was just Jimin being himself, unaware and impulsive. Namjoon didn’t have any words, shaking his head. 

Jungkook and Taehyung looked at each other, exchanging a few words before the latter glanced at his watch and shook his head. He had to go. Taehyung placed his hand on Jungkook’s shoulder, whispering something into his ear. You must have imagined it but it looked like he glanced in your direction. But before you could think about it, Taehyung headed in the same direction he had previously come from, and Jungkook slowly made his way over, not meeting your eyes once.

“What were you arguing about?” Jimin asked when Jungkook stood in front of you, and you watched him grip the strap of his backpack, the skin over his knuckles stretching thin.

“Jimin!” Jisoo hissed, punching him. 

“Ow!”

“Right, yeah, of course, you’d ask,” he smiled. “It’s fine.”

Jungkook said it with a laugh, but it was all wrong. 

“We weren’t arguing.” 

And as if it wasn’t enough, Jungkook put on his brightest and biggest smile. He showed it to everyone. Like a stone plunged into the deep sea, your heart sank. You had seen it before, that smile. It had decorated his lips during the Halloween party when you first walked in, or when you had first hurt his feelings while you had gone costume shopping. 

Namjoon and you looked at each other shortly, both of you sensing it. 

“Is everything-”

“Well, it looked like you were,” Jimin mumbled, accidentally interrupting Namjoon. He waited for Jungkook to budge and cave under his gaze, but when he wouldn’t, he shrugged. “Come sit.”

Maybe he could feel your burning gaze on him, but Jungkook finally glanced in your direction. If only for a second, so very brief. But it dug into your heart and split it open, gutted you and left you utterly empty. You had seen him just yesterday, picked out your dress together, parted ways this morning a few hours ago, and now he seemed like another person. He looked so sad, sad in a way you hadn’t seen before. You didn’t think that any emotion close to that had ever crossed his features, not in your presence at least. It was so new and surprising to you—because somehow in your mind, you had forgotten he had the ability to feel… upset—you froze.

“I’m sorry, I have to go,” Jungkook said, nailing that same smile back onto his lips as before. “But I’ll see you guys around.”

And before any of you could protest, he was gone, back turned to your table and heading into the crowd. 

“Well, that was… weird,” Chaeyoung said, pointing out the elephant in the room. And as if she had said your name, everyone turned to you for some kind of answer.

You blinked back at them. “Yeah, I-I don’t know.”

There was another beat of silence before ultimately your friends shrugged.

“Maybe it’s just not a good day?” Hoseok proposed, and they were all quick to agree, moving on. And though you didn’t voice it, you knew it wasn’t that. It couldn’t just be that. 

You knew it was about you. It had to be.

Thật ra thì mình đã biết viết gì cho hai bạn nhỏ thuộc về thiết lập này rồi. ��ã soạn trước bản thảo rồi. Tính là bắt đầu vào viết mới spoil nhiều hơn nhưng vì chiếc vid preview về loạt ảnh mới em Kyeom chụp họa báo làm mình rạo rực hết sức ಥ‿ಥ kiểu bị ngứa tay quá nên phải nhảy lên tóm gọn một xíu về chiếc plot đã và đang trong quá trình thử nghiệm này huhu

Tui biết là tui còn một nùi chưa hoàn mà lại đào thêm là chuyện không hề đúng đắn nhưng tui biết làm sao được khi plot nó cứ tìm đến tui vào những lúc tui k ngờ đến ಥ‿ಥ

Chuyện về một cậu người mẫu trẻ bỗng dưng không còn hứng thú với công việc bản thân luôn theo đuổi suốt bao năm qua. Cậu ấy chủ động tạm dừng mọi lịch trình và tự thưởng cho bản thân bằng một kỳ nghỉ dài hạn ở xứ sở hoa anh đào. Jisoo lặng lẽ đứng bên ngoài, ánh mắt không rời khỏi Seokmin đang tạo dáng trước ống kính ở bên kia.

Cậu bạn trai nhỏ của anh hóa thân hoàn hảo thành một chú báo đen hoang dại, ánh mắt sắc bén và phong thái đầy mạnh mẽ khiến cả ekip quay chụp có mặt tại studio không ngớt l��i trầm trồ, khen ngợi.

Mingyu đã đến studio được một lúc, cậu nhìn thấy anh mình chăm chú đến mức gần như quên cả thế giới xung quanh, không nhịn được mà mở miệng đùa vài câu.

"Anh đổi gu rồi hả? Em nhớ gu của anh là mấy em trai trẻ hiền lành như cục bột cơ mà? Nào phải kiểu chiến đét, ngầu lòi như con báo đen bên kia đâu?"

Jisoo nghe vậy cũng chẳng mảy may phản ứng, chỉ lặng im một lúc rồi mới nhàn nhạt lên tiếng. Ánh mắt của anh trước sau vẫn không rời khỏi Seokmin.

"Mingyu, cậu có biết cách biến một con báo đen hoang dại thành một chú cún nhà ngoan ngoãn chỉ trong vòng một nốt nhạc là thế nào không?"

Mingyu còn đang mơ hồ chưa hiểu ý anh mình là gì thì đã thấy Jisoo bước thẳng về phía set chụp.

Tại đó, đội ngũ nhân viên đang chỉnh sửa lớp trang điểm, phục trang và bố trí lại phối cảnh xung quanh cho Seokmin.

Seokmin vừa thấy Jisoo tiến lại gần đã hơi ngạc nhiên, định mở miệng hỏi anh có chuyện gì thì bất ngờ trước hành động kỳ lạ của anh.

Jisoo giơ tay lên, giả làm móng vuốt, khẽ "gừ" một tiếng đầy nghịch ngợm. Khẩu hình miệng của anh mấp máy vô cùng rõ ràng từng chữ một:

"Kyeomie nhìn ngon mắt quá, anh muốn cắn một cái quá đi~"

Chỉ trong nháy mắt, khuôn mặt điển trai của Seokmin đỏ bừng hết lên. Cậu quay mặt đi, tránh ánh mắt của Jisoo, đồng thời vội vàng kéo vạt áo đang được stylist cố tình để lộ, che kín lại. Nhìn dáng vẻ bối rối đến đáng yêu của cậu, Jisoo không khỏi đắc ý.

Anh quay người bước về chỗ Mingyu, vẻ mặt ngạo nghễ khoe chiến tích của mình. Trước ánh mắt tròn xoe và miệng há hốc vì kinh ngạc của Mingyu, Jisoo chỉ nhếch môi cười, bình thản nói:

"Bây giờ thì cậu biết rồi đó!"

Trong ngày đầu tiên của kỳ nghỉ, Seokmin quyết định tìm đến "Cherry", nơi Seungcheol từng nói cậu có thể ghé qua bất cứ lúc nào để giải sầu. Anh và Jeonghan luôn sẵn sàng dành thời gian lắng nghe cậu trút bầu tâm sự. Thế nhưng, vừa đặt chân đến quán, Seokmin đã nhận được tin từ nhân viên rằng ông chủ Choi đã đưa Jeonghan đi du lịch tận trời Tây. Nghe vậy, cậu chỉ nhếch môi cười nhạt, tự thấy có chút nực cười. Hóa ra, ngay cả hai người mà cậu muốn tìm đến nhất cũng không ở đây.

Seokmin không vội rời đi mà gọi thêm vài ly r.ượu mạnh, lặng lẽ thưởng thức thứ đồ uống xa xỉ trong không gian huyên náo nhưng không quá xô bồ. Men r.ượu nóng rẫy tràn xuống cổ họng, đọng lại dư vị cay nồng đến khó tả. Cậu biết bản thân không dễ say, nhưng khi dốc cạn ly thứ tư, đầu óc đã bắt đầu có hơi choáng váng. Cảm thấy bản thân cần chút tỉnh táo, Seokmin đứng dậy, chậm rãi bước về phía nhà vệ sinh.

Từng vốc nước lạnh táp lên mặt giúp Seokmin dễ chịu hơn vài phần. Cậu hít sâu một hơi, nhìn hình ảnh bản thân phản chiếu lại trong gương, tự cười mỉa một cái rồi xoay người bước ra ngoài. Nhưng chưa kịp đi được bao xa, từ dãy hành lang lờ mờ ánh đèn vàng, một bóng người đột nhiên nhào vào lòng cậu. Hai tay người nọ níu chặt vào góc áo vừa bám được như đang tìm kiếm một sự giúp đỡ.

Hương đào mật thanh thoát tràn vào khoang mũi, nhẹ nhàng cuốn lấy mọi giác quan của Seokmin. Trong thoáng chốc, cậu có cảm giác như bản thân đang bị chuốc say, không phải bởi dư vị còn sót lại của những ly rượu mạnh, mà đến từ mùi hương quyến rũ đến mê hoặc này.

"Làm ơn... Giúp tôi." Giọng nói nhẹ như cánh gió thoảng qua tai, ngữ âm còn mang theo chút khẩn cầu.

Seokmin hơi nhíu mày, chưa kịp phản ứng thì từ xa đã truyền đến tiếng bước chân gấp gáp. Người trong ngực cậu theo đó mà càng siết chặt lấy cậu hơn, cả thân thể run rẩy như một chú chim nhỏ lạc bầy.

Ánh sáng ở hành lang quá tối, cho nên Seokmin không nhìn rõ gương mặt người nọ, chỉ lờ mờ nhận ra đối phương là một chàng trai trẻ. Do dự thoáng hiện lên nơi đáy mắt, nhưng rất nhanh liền hành động theo phản xạ, cậu giơ tay ôm lấy bờ vai run rẩy kia, kéo người nọ ra sau lưng mình, ánh mắt dần lạnh đi khi nhận thấy tiếng đế giày va chạm với sàn gạch ngày càng tới gần.

okay so i strongly disagree that batter up by baemon sounds like a bp song, if anything it's just extremely 2nd gen yg coded, but these sheesh teasers? hmm....... 🤔😐 the chorus instrumental preview is giving hylt/the girls and the mv teaser is giving ktl and the scene itself is literally the lalisa mv opening/that one jisoo scene with the arrow in the ktl mv. can't even blame teddy or tbl for this one bcs i don't think they work with baemon so...

yuppp 🥴 like i saw one of the individual teasers and it reminded me of hylt / bp stuff a bit but i brushed it off, but the full mv teaser …… 😬😬 atp i think it’s undeniable that yg is actively trying to recreate bp through bm, which honestly just makes me sad for those girls …… especially bcs since this is not the work of teddy / tbl, it cannot even be written off as the producers’ styles overlapping or whatever

Lee Seokmin và Hong Jisoo nhìn một lớn một nhỏ đang ăn cơm trưa với nhau thì không khỏi cảm thán, đúng là cha con có khác. Nhìn đi, từ đầu mày, đuôi mắt, sống mũi lẫn khóe môi của nhỏ hơn đều như tạt từ một khuôn của lớn hơn mà ra. Choi Seungcheol và hột đậu nhỏ Yoon Chan giống nhau như đúc thế này, trừ khi thần kinh thuộc vào dạng không bình thường thì Seokmin và Jisoo mới tin vào lời nói dối giấu đầu lòi đuôi của Yoon Jeonghan, rằng cậu ta nhặt được hột đậu nhỏ ở ven đường vào một đêm không trăng không sao. Nhớ lại lúc nghe đứa bạn thân kiêm bệnh nhân của mình thuật lại sự ra đời và phát triển của hột đậu nhỏ, Jisoo không nhịn được mà phải buộc miệng khen ngợi bạn mình một câu. "Nhặt sao mà khéo thế, khéo đến độ nhặt được một bản sao cỡ nhỏ của tình cũ từng thương luôn ta ơi."

Nếu vũ trụ này được tui mở thì ngoại trừ bé Đậu ta còn gặp được những cục bông xinh iu của các hộ gia đình như sau:

- Bé Đào cục cưng nhỏ của Iseokmin, đi làm mệt tới đâu về là phải hun hun bé mấy cái (dĩ nhiên sau khi hun ba của bé roài). Hun riết mà mỗi lần bé nghe câu "Đào nhỏ của ba ơi, ba về rồi nè!" là bé chạy ù đi tìm ba Chichu để trốn =]]]

- Bé Gấu thích anh Nunu lắm vì ba Goo hay dẫn Gấu sang chơi với anh Nunu. Tại ba Goo bận đi làm từ sáng đến tối nên Gấu chỉ chơi với anh Nunu thui. Gấu gất muốn mang anh Nunu về ở chung với Gấu, và với ông ba của mình nữa.

- Cá Cơm hong thích hổ, đặc biệt càng không thích ba lớn của bé giả thành hổ à uồm tối ngày. Cá Cơm chỉ thích ba nhỏ Uchi thui.

- Miêu Miêu thích cún con hơn là mèo nhưng mà ba Huy của bé lại là người siêu cấp cuồng mèo, còn Hạo Hạo thì chỉ thích mấy bé ếch hoạt hình thui à. Miêu Miêu tủi thân hết sức.

- Đôi gà bông thì chưa có em bé, nhưng cũng đang lên kế hoạch rồi =]]]]]]]

Seungcheol nhìn bóng lưng tất bật của bạn người thương đang pha sữa bột trong bếp, nhìn đến mấy đứa nhỏ tròn ủm như mấy cái bánh bột trước mặt mình thì không khỏi thở dài.

Cứ tưởng hôm nay đưa hột Đậu nhỏ nhà mình sang nhà ông bà chơi thì anh sẽ trải qua một đêm thật là tuyệt vời cùng bạn người thương. Nhưng không, khi trở về từ nhà bố mẹ, mở cửa bước vô nhà anh đã được chào đón bởi một tràng dài ngọng nghịu ríu rít không thể nào quen thuộc hơn.

"Chú mặt quạu về gồi nha~"

Seungcheol tự hỏi, mắc giống gì mà đám anh em của mình lại không hẹn mà cùng đem con cái sang cho Jjong Jjong nhà anh giữ hộ vậy? Ủa, anh với Jjong Jjong của anh cũng cần có không gian riêng tư mà? Ủa, Jjong Jjong nhà anh thích trẻ con, đồng ý nhận trông hộ mấy cục bột này nhưng đâu có nghĩa là anh thấy vui khi trong nhà xuất hiện thêm mấy cục bột đâu?

"Chú mặt quạu sao lại cau mày dọ?"

Seungcheol nhìn đến cục bột bự nhất trong dàn đang hỏi chuyện với mình. Cục bột này tên là Gấu, bé nó là cục cưng của thằng nhóc họ Kim.

"Đâu có, chú nào có cau mày đâu? Mà mấy đứa cho chú hỏi? Sao mà mấy đứa lại sang nhà của chú vậy?"

"Bố Chóc Min bảo sang nhà chú chơi thì Đào mới có em ạ."

"Ba Huy cũng bảo với Miêu Miêu như dị í. Mà chú ơi, tại làm sao mà Miêu Miêu qua nhà chú chơi thì Miêu Miêu mới có em dọ? Miêu Miêu ở nhà thì em bé hong chịu tới hả chú?"

"Chú mặt quạu ơi, xao mà Gấu lại hong có em dọ? Gấu sang nhà chú chơi nhiều lắm gồi mà?"

"Có em bé là gì dọ chú ơi, Cá Cơm cũng muốn có."
