Letting Jinx loose on our Tumblr account is always kind of adorably hilarious, because she will seek out every piece of Timebomb ship art she can possibly find and like it. She doesn't even ship it romantically for herself, he's her completely platonic best friend who she would absolutely be roommates and raise a kid with, she just likes seeing all the pretty art everyone makes. I think she misses him a lot and doesn't quite want to admit it.

Powder is a little more laid back about it, but she enjoys it too from the backseat. She's not a huge fan of the AU version of herself though - one of the first things she did after showing up was very strongly correct the notion that that's her source, she's the Powder who was "still in there somewhere", not the Powder who never became Jinx in the first place - so it's a little more of a mixed bag on which art pieces she prefers.

I hope this doesn't come off as rude but I think you're fascinating, could you tell us more about yourself? I'm not too savvy on DID business so I hope is okay if I ask how did you came to be? Do you talk with the others (if there are)?

It's not rude, you're all good.

There are others. I'm only one alter in a system of, like, 20 something. I've only really talked with our host for now, I'm not really social.

I formed because we as a system have some pretty intense abandonment trauma in addition to BPD, and we see a lot of ourselves in my source character. I.E. the actual canon Powder/Jinx you see in Arcane. But because of the DID, our personality is fragmented and prone to breaking off into more pieces sometimes; we call this splitting.

Because we relate so deeply to Canon Powder, I split off to better handle our issues relating to our abandonment and BPD. I'm not very good at it, but it keeps the others from experiencing it as intensely.

Think of it like this: If you light a piece of paper on fire and then cut that paper in half, you save the rest of the paper that you cut off from burning.

The people on tiktok talking about how "Catradora walked so Caitvi could run" don't realize that mine and Vi's relationship and story is more similar to Catra and Adora than her and Caitler's ever was- only difference is that we're sisters and not romantically involved.
