I have too many. I loved when he was caught playing an instrument, especially the kazoo. But my personal true one is him at the SMTown Paris in 2011. They were so young but I remember him smiling at us and the energy he put in the performance. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I miss him dearly.

We never had a difficult year like 2017.

And I do hope we'll never have another one.

I still remember reading the allegations about Jinki, the doubts, him disappearing and seeing them as 4 for the first time. Still, nothing prepared us Shawols for that tragic December. It was horrible and it was terrifying. There's not a single day passing by that I do not think of him.

But then, somehow, life has its own way of putting the pieces back together... And in the end, spring arrived for all of us, too. The foggy view I saw for months, somehow, disappeared. Here comes the sun.

We've never had such a meaningful comeback. Such a honest comeback.

Our boys, our men, even more than ever, are back not only with a renovated strength, but also with a more comfortable and simple side to them. As if nothing will ever made themselves doubt about them being together as 5. For this, I'll forever be grateful. For this, they'll always be my inspiration.

And, once again, as this song comes up on my playlist, unexpected, I can't help but think of him. But this time, I'm smiling. Because you'll never be forgotten - you're still living in all of us, Jong.

Ok this is going to be quick and honest.

I've been thinking about it after receiving a comment from a coworker a couple of days ago.

You guys do you - you guys listen to whatever the fuck you want to listen to.

Like, really. I'm 29 years old. I'm an old grandma compared to the typical kpop fan. I started at 21 years old but I'm still here. I have a boyfriend, we live together, I work my ass off everyday and guess what? I like listening to kpop, pop, rock, whatever floats my mind on that day.

Never ever ever let someone else tell you your musical taste isn't worth a buck just because you're listening to something different. I mean it especially for younger people : do you, be you, listen to you.

If kpop or any kind of music you like makes you feel better, makes you smile, makes you FEEL anything - keep it. Listen to it. Don't worry about other people's thought. If they're going to judge you on such a thing, let go. Let them go. Never be ashamed of yourself for doing you, music included.

You'll eventually get to my age and soon realize you're not ashamed of your musical taste, because that's what makes you happy. Because music is important. OK? Please.
